# \[ MAP\] HURT: Complete Silhouette MAP \[ CW\]

CONTENT WARNING: As this MAP is inspired by the Old West, it contains blood, death, guns, and alcohol. It's here! Hurt is a unique MAP themed around the Old West. Participants could use any media or OCs that they wanted as long as they included a Western spin. The MAP focuses on themes of regret, loss, sadness, and so on. For each part in Hurt, participants turned in three different files: the Story section (the pmv in the sky), the Silhouette (the animated walk cycle along the bottom), and the Still (the tintype-style images used in the credits). If they had time, they also turned in a simple scrolling background image to go behind their character's walk cycle; if they didn't, I had premade assets to make sure the background didn't look too empty. I took all of these parts and edited them together on top of a seamless, slowly changing sky and I think the end result came out amazing! I'm so impressed with each and every person who participated in this MAP. Everyone's parts turned out amazing and I had so much fun putting this all together. I had a very specific vision for this MAP going into this, and I was a little nervous to post it because I was worried people might find the concept too restrictive - but to my surprise, everyone was incredibly supportive and great to work with along the way, and I'm so happy with how well everyone's parts fulfilled my vision.
