# Guardrail Maintenance

Utah Department of Transportation Video VH-60D Guardrail Maintenance This program begins with a look at the components of a guardrail and then demonstrates maintenance procedures for three different types of installations: the typical section, turned down end sections, and attachments to bridges. Removing damaged components, hanging new rail, and replacing a post are depicted in some detail, and the special circumstances of replacing turned down sections and bridge attachments are shown. Safety is stressed.
