# The Glass Key 1942 colorized (Brian Donlevy, Alan Ladd)

When his sister's gambler boyfriend is killed, a crooked politician finds himself being framed for the murder by a gangster from whom he refused help during his re-election campaign. based on the novel by Dashiell Hammett Brian Donlevy as Paul Madvig Veronica Lake as Janet Henry Alan Ladd as Ed Beaumont Bonita Granville as Opal Madvig Richard Denning as Taylor Henry Joseph Calleia as Nick Varna William Bendix as Jeff Moroni Olsen as Ralph Henry Margaret Hayes as Eloise Matthews I colorized this using AI software that doesn't always get the colors right, but I think it looks fairly natural. Hopefully a more professional job will be done someday.
