# Embryonic development of the light- brown apple moth

Producer, Stanley T. Evans; director, M.F. Day; photographer, E.M. Reid; editor, David Corke

Commentator: M.F. Day

The egg of this insect was found particularly suitable for observation of embyonic development. A complete record was made by time-lapse cinemicrography at one frame each 32 seconds, covering an egg from the blastoderm stage four hours after fertilisation when processes became visible, to the hatching of the larva. Note: Made in 1966, now reissued with revised commentary incorporating new information
