# Beyond the Infinite - Retrospect (Chapter 5)

Chapter Prelude: "The cow appears again and asks him whether he would like to go beyond. Before he could answer, he discovers himself in a life vaguely familiar." Musician's excerpt: "'Second' focuses on the theme of bittersweetness where memories of where one once was surfaces. Percussion, strings, pads and bass are used to depict the half-sorrow and half-peacefulness of a city that once was." - Adrian Lo A machinima video made using the game "The Movies" and part of the Electronic Music Lab's "Beyond the Infinite" 2006 performance. Live electronic music was performed during the actual screening of the event giving rise to an interesting combination of live artificial electronic sounds with virtual actors, real backgrounds and various edits of animated videos from NASA.
