# Top Of The Pops (US)- January 15, 1988

Swing Out Sister's "Twilight World", Elton John's "Candle In The Wind", and Laura Branigan's "Power Of Love" are the songs featured as the stateside Top of the Pops resumes its normal format following a three-week countdown of the top songs of 1987. After a look at start of the Top 40 chart, we head over across the pond with Gary Davies where The Alarm perform an all-news version of "Rescue Me", followed by The Cover Girls with "Because Of You", more of the chart, and then Dan Hill with the "Breaker" hit "Never Thought (That I Could Love)". We wind this week up with the UK Top 10 chart including a performance of this week's No. 1 single, The Pet Shop Boys version "Always On My Mind". Then, the American Top 10 chart, and finally, Icehouse with "Crazy".
