# 1990s VHS • Weird VCR Head Cleaner PSA 60 FPS

Weird VCR Head Cleaner PSA (1990s) is a short promotional spot, running just under two minutes, produced by MCEG Virgin. The piece uses a comedic framing device: a personified VCR named "Al" narrates from a fictional "VCR emergency center," where he's waiting to be repaired because his owner neglected routine maintenance. A "doctor" character joins in to explain the mechanics, noting that dirty tape heads can cause picture loss, audio loss, or audio/video sync problems. Al then breaks the fourth wall to advise viewers directly: use a dry head cleaner for routine upkeep and a wet system for heavier cleaning, every 15 to 20 hours of playtime. The spot closes with a standard PSA-style sign-off crediting MCEG Virgin and a title called Disclosure.
