# 1995 VHS • Video Professor Learn Windows 95 60 FPS

A Video Professor series tape teaching Windows 95 with student assistant Suzanne. Video Professor Inc. was founded in 1987 in Lakewood, Colorado. System requirements are a 386DX or higher with 4MB RAM, VGA monitor, 3.5-inch floppy, and approximately 30MB of hard disk space. The installation section covers typical, portable, compact, and custom setup types, and explains that DOS now runs inside Windows 95 rather than the other way around. The main lesson covers the Windows 95 desktop, My Computer (drive properties and disk formatting), the Recycle Bin, the Taskbar and Start button, window elements (caption bar, menu bar, status bar, scroll bars, minimize, maximize, restore, and close buttons), drag-and-drop, and the Control Panel sections for Date and Time, Display (wallpaper, screen savers, color schemes), and Sound. Windows Explorer demonstrates the tree-structure directory view, details view, file copying via drag-and-drop and Send To, folder creation with long filenames up to 255 characters, shortcuts marked with a bent-arrow icon, and the Find feature. The tape closes on multimedia device controls covering audio, video, MIDI, CD Music, and Advanced tabs.
