# 1999 VHS • Massage Practice for Couples 60 FPS

Massage Practice for Couples is a Living Arts instructional massage program hosted by Michelle Kluck, designed as a full-body couples routine targeting different primary areas for men and women. For men, the sequence begins with the back and progresses through the hamstrings, calves, ankles, and feet. For women, the sequence concentrates on the front of the body beginning with the thighs and hips, then progressing through the shoulders, head, and neck. A stress relief section at the close of the program covers reflexology foot massage and acupressure face massage for both partners. A Touch, Yoga, Meditation, and Living Arts catalog segment precedes the program. Strokes demonstrated include effleurage, kneading, thumb strips, hand-over-hand pulling, acupressure holds, and percussion. Anatomy notes woven into the instruction address chronic back tension in men, tight trapezius and rhomboid muscles, the iliotibial tract, common neck stiffness in women, and reflex zones on the foot corresponding to the spine, neck, thyroid, spleen, shoulder, solar plexus, and brain. The program recommends daily use and frames the routine as a tool for deepening communication and intimacy between partners.
