# The Dummy Talks

“Backstage musical” “Backstage murder” (IMDB reviews quotes). A hodge-podge of a whodunit set in a music hall in which the mystery plot is constantly interrupted by variety acts -- some of them good, some not so much. Good ensemble cast. Adequate production values. IMDM rating 5.9. Directed by Oswald Mitchell. Released in 1943 (UK only). Complete print (PAL transfer).
