# The Devil's Daughter

An all-black drama of sisters in conflict with a bit of obeah (voodoo) in the mix. The acting is primative. The production values are a bit above average for type. The soundtrack provides an entertaining sample of pre-reggae Jamaican music. Filmed in and around Kingston, Jamaica with an American primary cast. Directed by Arthur Leonard. Released in 1939. Complete print (2nd release). a.k.a. "Daughter of the Isle of Jamaica"
