# Tasmania: The Last Wilderness (VHS)

Wilderness. Without it, our everyday world might become unbearable. And in our world, Tasmania may well be the last wilderness. A journey into and beyond the wilderness heart of Tasmania - the island which treasures its natural, wild beauty, Tasmania the last Wilderness reveals the forces which have shaped Tasmania and its people. From the days before it was an island, through its aboriginal and colonial heritage to mining booms, dams and the birth of one of the world's first conservation movements. Then back, full circle, to respect for wild places and the good things nature provides. "TASMANIA the last Wilderness helps you discover - and enjoy - the marvellous nature of one of the world's special places." -- Bob Brown, Conservationist. Part of the FLEMISHDOG VHS Shit Collection.
