# SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS dvd trailer

The big one. Disney's first feature-length production and the 1937 blockbuster hit that is the highest grossing animated film of all time, adjusted for inflation. Its profits literally built Disney Studios. An adaptation of a Grimm brothers fairy tale. TRIVIA: Tolkien's "The Hobbit" published in 1936 has since changed the accepted spelling of dwarfs to dwarves. "Snow White" was one of Hitler's favorite movies. Go figure. PERSONAL NOTE: This was the first movie I saw on the big screen, but I've been told I had to be taken out of the theater because it scared the hell out of me. This probably wouldn't happen to me today.
