# SPOOK SHOW 132 Mr. Macnee, You're Needed

I grew up watching the Avengers. My Aunt Melinda introduced me to the show when I was really little on the CBS Late Movie back in the day. When I got my first job, I started buying video tapes of the show. Then I began recording episodes off A&E. The the VHS collects came out. I bought them. DVDs too! My friend and I were talking and he mentioned his favorite Steed sidekicks. His being Ms. Peel. Ms. Peel or he wouldn't watch the show. I was dumbfounded. He proceeded to ask who was my favorite. I answered like this, "The only character who was IS a constant is John Steed. He is my favorite character on the show. He was IS the reason I keep watching. He makes James Bond look like an amateur secret agent. he needed no gun. Just his hat, umbrella, and his wits." The GREAT actor Patrick Macnee has passed away Patrick Macnee obit may he rest in peace. A majority of tonight's episode IS about the Avengers. We've got other goodies to see as well. Our prayers, well wishes, and good vibes to Mr. Macnee's family. GOD: Mr. Macnee, you're needed.
