# Ramona

Ramona was directed by D W Griffith in 1910. It is the story of a Mexican girl (played by Mary Pickford) and an Indian boy in an ill-fated love affair. It demonstrates Griffith's sympathy for the Indian in a time when such sentiments were not so widespread.
