# Planet Of The Apes: Rule The Planet (2001 TV Special)

Star Estella Warren hosts a look at the making of Tim Burton's "Planet of the Apes." Included are interviews with all of the principal cast and crew members discussing their characters and experiences, a brief tribute to Tim Burton's previous films, a lookback at the original apes franchise featuring comments from various celebrities, they touch on the "ape school" classes that the cast members had to endure, there's a segment on Rick Baker's makeup and, of course, the obligatory preview clips. It's fast-paced but gives a pretty thorough overview of the film and how it was made. To date, this special has never been issued on home video.
