# Crocodiles!

Includes glimpses into the lives of crocodiles all over the world. The dinosaur had its day, but crocodiles are still having theirs, proving that they have the evolutionary staying power to succeed on an ever-changing planet. Special glands allow them to tolerate saltwater, so its no surprise to see them hundreds of miles from land on their way to colonize new habitats-- as they've done in tropical and subtropical regions all over the globe. Long reviled as vicious killers, new photographic techniques now show them as canny cooperators, not only on the hunt but also in raising and protecting their young. 1 videocassette (60 min.) : 1/2 in VHS, stereo Narrated by David Attenborough Photographers, Richard Kirby ; film editor, Tim Coope ; music composers, Nigel Beaham-Powell, Bella Russell
