# It's That Man Again

“Mighty fine!” “Interesting record of a great artist” (IMDB reviews quotes). A crooked mayor loots his town’s treasury, but while playing poker he wins a broken down theater and a bankrupt theatrical school. I Know! They can put on a show! (yikes) The conman-mayor is played by the beloved BBC radio comic Tommy Handley supported by a large cast of British zanies. IMDB rating 5.5. Directed by Walter Forde. Released in1943 (UK only). PAL transfer (approximately 2 minutes are missing) CAST NOTE: Vera Frances (Daisy) is the same precocious little girl (Jane) who charmed many IA members in the Arthur Askey comedy “Back-Room Boy.” https://archive.org/details/BACKROOMBOYVideoQualityUpgrade
