# Courageous Mr Penn

“A beautiful, inspirational and true story” “Lumbering costumer” (IMDB reviews quotes). Greatly simplified, episodic biographies of William Penn and his first wife Gulielma. An amusing aspect is the British misconceptions of the cultural nature and physical appearance of east coast Native Americans. Adequate cast and production values. IMDB rating 6.0. Directed by Lance Comfort. UK release 1942. US release 1943. Complete print. A.K.A. “Penn of Pennsylvania”
