A family travels to California making stops in some less frequently visited places, including the gold mining town Coloma and a fire lookout tower in the Sierras. They then travel to California wine country before making their way north to Banff and Jasper National Parks and visiting scenic highlights in the Canadian Rockies including visits to glaciers. Screen credits indicate original music was created to accompany these images, however this reel contains only silent elements. Can notes: "#3 / California / Canada / Aug. 1976"
