# The Impact of Job Control on Worker Safety and Health

Laura Punnett, ScD, focuses on ways to increase employees’ job control or decision-making opportunities and minimize their risk factors for chronic diseases. Dr. Punnett is Co-Director of the Center for Promotion of Health in the New England Workplace. The Center is one of six NIOSH extramural funded Centers of Excellence for Total Worker Health®.
