# Projections and distortions

The video shows the tiss-indicatrices on various map projections (Stereographic, Mercator, Robinson etc.) in QGIS software (on Windows platform). The viewer can study the distortions of the circles, and investigate their properties (e.g. equal-area) by calculating geometric metrics (area, perimeter). Authors: György Szabó and Ervin Wirth
