# CFAY MWR Hosts Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Ikego (988878)

ZUSHI CITY, Japan (December 4, 2025) — Capt. Jonathan Hopkins, Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), and base community members flip the switch to light the Christmas tree during the annual CFAY MWR Tree Lighting Ceremony and Festival at Ikego Forest Natural Park's Joint Use Field. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
