# Wie kommt es zu Haarausfall

Bei erblich-hormonell bedingtem Haarausfall (androgenetische Alopezie) reagieren die Haarfollikel überempfindlich auf das Hormon Dihydrotestosteron (DHT). Dadurch wird die Blutzufuhr zum Follikel beeinträchtigt und die haarbildenden Zellen sterben ab.
