Not offered here: it is made from Цветик-семицветик, Valentin Kataev's book of 1940, and whether that work is free here is not settled: it was first published in 1940, and where is not known (a work first published abroad was restored on 1 January 1996, 17 U.S.C. §104A). Showing the film shows the work's expression in it (Stewart v. Abend, 495 U.S. 207, 223 (1990)), so it is held here while the work is protected; unclear is not offered.
