# The Hayseed (1919)

The Hayseed, with English intertitles.

2015 restoration by Lobster Films, in collaboration with Film Preservation Associates. This restoration is based on a tinted nitrate print preserved at the Cinémathèque de Toulouse, a tinted nitrate print and a 22 mm diacetate print preserved at Lobster Films, and a 35 mm safety dupe negative preserved at the Cinémathèque française. The 22 mm print was scanned at Eclair laboratories, and the others were scanned at Lobster Films laboratories. Intertitles are reconstructed based on the original Paramount Pictures design and a translation of the French intertitles.
