# MandelbulbRot 00000-10501 VP9 slow lossless

An #animation of the Mandelbulb #fractal. The fractal follows the iterative formula v^x ↦ v + c, where x is variable (Standard: v⁹ ↦ v + c). x grows constantly by 0.002 per frame in the video, starting at 0. For every 500 frames, this variable has increased by 1. The range is from 0 to 21. As the variable value increases, the fractal approaches circular and spherical structures. The increase of the value is strictly linear. c is a complex number here. Have fun! Created with mandelbulber2.

Also interesting are the shapes and constellations that we get to see while the video process progresses.

From 00:00 to 00:08.333 we see a sphere or a drop-shaped geometric primitive that contracts as if to a point. (Value of the variable between 0 and 1). The reached point at the value 1 reminds of the point of singularity in astrophysics, from which the universe spreads out by the big bang. From value 1 also the fractal spreads out and gets at 00:16,666 the form of the classical Mandelbrot set in a three-dimensional interpretation. The value 1 of the formula is also approximately considered as the turning point of a body from a Euclidean geometry to a fractal geometry. At v² ↦ v + c exactly one horizontal symmetry axis can be seen.

v⁵ ↦ v + c → 00:41.666 (approx. Frame 2500) A cross can be seen in the center. The lines point in the direction of the bulbs, which could act as the corners of a fictitious square. We see a quad of mathematical entities.

v⁶ ↦ v + c → 00:50 (Frame 3000) We…
