# Witchs Tale

3 episodes.

Witch's Tale was a very early syndicated radio program, written by Alonzo Deen Cole. He would act on the show as well. It was very successful in its time. In later years, he would become the writer of the popular radio series Casey, Crime Photographer. These are recordings from transcriptions done to reel tape in the 1970s, and now in digitized form. The original discs were 17" in diameter, and very heavy. Considering the years since they were originally produced, the sound quality is very good. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Witch%27s_Tale

Nothing here is called public domain on this site's say-so. In the United States, sound recordings first fixed before 15 February 1972 have federal protection under the Music Modernization Act of 2018, for most until 2067 at the latest, so most American radio of the 1930s to the 1950s is not in the public domain there. Each set shows the licence, mark or statement its archive gives, and says whose it is.
