# THE VISITORS

Heard 1982. 1 episodes.

Funnytalk Nelson and Chico are back in this 1982 comedy, which follows my Internet Archive restorations of TREASURE-TROVE, JOURNEY TO GOTH, and THE APPARITION. This tightened version of THE VISITORS introduces C.C.'s crotchety grandfather and brings back Lizzie's southern parents from 1981's THE WEDDING. These guests would return in three more VISITORS comedies, and her parents also put in an hilarious appearance in my latest "F.N.C.," THE ARRIVAL (now available on iTunes). Recorded in seven days in 1982, this painstaking restoration encompassed three-and-a-half years(!) and involved thousands of digital adjustments. I hope you enjoy this Seinfeldian comedy (made long before there was a Seinfeld), in which Chico, Lizzie, and C.C....if not welcome....then at least attempt to tolerate their visiting relatives.

Nothing here is called public domain on this site's say-so. In the United States, sound recordings first fixed before 15 February 1972 have federal protection under the Music Modernization Act of 2018, for most until 2067 at the latest, so most American radio of the 1930s to the 1950s is not in the public domain there. Each set shows the licence, mark or statement its archive gives, and says whose it is.
