# Sometimes They Come Back \[Stephen King\]

Heard 1980. 1 episodes.

An audiobook reading of the Stephen King story "Sometimes They Come Back", performed by Dudley Knight for the KPKV radio program "The Graveyard Shift". This is a brand new restoration sourced from the original program master tapes by the Pacifica Radio Archives, digitized for the first time. I had to pay alot to digitize this recording, so I hope you enjoy it: this is the first time it's being made available to the public. "Sometimes They Come Back" is a short story by Stephen King, first published in the March 1974 issue of Cavalier and later collected in King's 1978 collection Night Shift.

Nothing here is called public domain on this site's say-so. In the United States, sound recordings first fixed before 15 February 1972 have federal protection under the Music Modernization Act of 2018, for most until 2067 at the latest, so most American radio of the 1930s to the 1950s is not in the public domain there. Each set shows the licence, mark or statement its archive gives, and says whose it is.
