# THE APPARITION

Heard 1981. 1 episodes.

Chuckles and chills commingle in this tightened 35th-anniversary restoration of my 1981 Funnytalk Nelson and Chico "audio film." I drew my inspiration from classic cinema ghost stories like "The Uninvited," "The Haunting," "The Innocents," and Abbott and Costello's "The Time of Their Lives," while carrying on the same pre-"Seinfeld" and -"Simpsons" type of character humor which you may have already enjoyed in JOURNEY TO GOTH, TREASURE-TROVE, and, in particular, THE VISITORS here at Internet Archive. I hope you'll also check out my brand-new Funnytalk Nelson and Chico comedy THE ARRIVAL at iTunes. I know you're going to get a kick out of it!

Nothing here is called public domain on this site's say-so. In the United States, sound recordings first fixed before 15 February 1972 have federal protection under the Music Modernization Act of 2018, for most until 2067 at the latest, so most American radio of the 1930s to the 1950s is not in the public domain there. Each set shows the licence, mark or statement its archive gives, and says whose it is.
