Detective Weekly #372 \[1940-04-06\]. Originally conceived as a replacement title for The Union Jack , Detective Weekly presented a full-length Sexton Blake yarn in every issue. It came in a tabloid format approximately 10" x 13" in size. Detective Weekly was cancelled in 1940 due to World War II paper shortages in Britain.
