Bottom Line: In Kharkiv, where fiber-optic FPV drones immune to electronic warfare now account for nearly all those flying in from the russian border, volunteers have built a cheap trap: a taut steel cable that snags and snaps the drone’s filament. Already operational in Kharkiv and the Donbas, the systems neutralized seventy drones in a couple of days. The conclusion is that such combat-validated solutions must be funded, standardized and scaled, with Kherson an absolute priority.
