Bottom Line: In July 2026, contacts in occupied southern Ukraine reported russian forces fortifying Crimea’s land gates, from Pershokostyantynivka and Stavky facing Perekop to Salkove on the Chonhar axis and Henichesk, corroborated by partisan reports and satellite imagery. Citing Ukrainian strikes on Crimea’s fuel and power, outbound queues on the Kerch Bridge and the arming of tankers, the analysis argues that logistics, energy and computation have given way and that moscow already expects to lose the peninsula. russians Are Digging In at Crimea’s Gates: They Know the Peninsula Is Lost By Giorgio Provinciali and Alla Perdei · 21 July 2026 · terykon.com Narrated by an AI-generated voice.
