[2:37] Speaker 2: Without you guys and the rest of the team, it
[2:41] Speaker 2: wouldn't be possible. The way you guys push me, the
[2:43] Speaker 2: way we compete, me against Hooper in training every week,
[2:48] Speaker 2: it just makes me a better player, makes me want
[2:49] Speaker 2: to improve, so thank you very much. To Vinny, I
[2:55] Speaker 2: know he's at home, or I think still in the hospital,

[3:19] Speaker 2: a player, no doubt, improved as a person, as a leader,
[3:23] Speaker 2: and that's thanks to your leadership. To Jan, to Herbert,
[3:29] Speaker 2: to all the Bayern Munich fans, chairmen and presidents. I
[3:34] Speaker 2: know some of you couldn't be here tonight, but it's
[3:37] Speaker 2: an honour to play for Bayern Munich. To represent you
[3:41] Speaker 2: is a real privilege, so I'm glad to be bringing

[4:10] Speaker 2: Bond together, a lot of togetherness, the way we trained,
[4:12] Speaker 2: the way we played, the togetherness in the hotel and
[4:16] Speaker 2: the World Cup.
[4:17] Speaker 1: Yeah, it's truly an honour to.
[4:19] Speaker 2: Captain you, lead you. It makes me extremely proud, so
[4:23] Speaker 2: this one is for all of us.
[4:25] Speaker 1: For sure. To Thomas Tuchel and the staff.
[4:34] Speaker 2: At England, again, you know, the leadership, the way you
[4:39] Speaker 2: drive us, the way you push standards is something to
[4:42] Speaker 2: be admired and, you know, it's an honour to represent
[4:46] Speaker 2: you and represent the England badge the way you do.
[4:49] Speaker 2: I know Debbie's here tonight as well, so, Debbie, thank
[4:52] Speaker 2: you very much for everything you do and everyone at

[5:00] Speaker 2: I want to say thank you to Tottenham Hotspur as well.
[5:12] Speaker 2: I wouldn't be where I am today without Tottenham, for sure.
[5:16] Speaker 2: I was there from 11 years old. All the guidance,
[5:20] Speaker 2: all the coaches, you allowed me to live my dream. So,
[5:25] Speaker 2: for sure, without all those moments together, all the ups
[5:29] Speaker 2: and downs along the way of that journey, it's led
[5:32] Speaker 2: me to this moment here today, so I just want
[5:34] Speaker 2: to say thank you to Tottenham Hotspur.
[5:37] Speaker 1: To all the fans, Bayern Munich.
[5:39] Speaker 2: Fans, England fans, Spurs fans and all my fans around.
[5:42] Speaker 1: The world I love you in this room tonight.
[5:51] Speaker 2: Yeah, the support you give me in the stadiums, around
[5:54] Speaker 2: the place, wherever it may be, on social media, I
[5:59] Speaker 2: appreciate it all. You know, I remember being a fan
[6:02] Speaker 2: not long ago and what it means to, you know,
[6:06] Speaker 2: play football and it was a dream of mine. So, yeah,
[6:10] Speaker 2: any time I can give back to you guys, it's
[6:13] Speaker 2: a real honour and a privilege to do so. I
[6:23] Speaker 2: want to give a shout out to some of my
[6:25] Speaker 2: coaches who have helped me along the way. If I
[6:28] Speaker 2: forgot anyone, I'm really sorry, but I'll start from early days.
[6:32] Speaker 2: I have Bradley Allen, Chris Ramsey, John McDermott, who's here tonight,
[6:37] Speaker 2: Alex Inglefall. Tim Sherwood, Brian Mason, who's here tonight, one
[6:41] Speaker 2: of my best friends, Ryan, Kenny Jacket, Russell Slade, Harry Redknapp,
[6:48] Speaker 2: Maurizio Pochettino, Jose Mourinho, Antonio Conte, and then... Roy Hodgson,
[6:56] Speaker 2: Gareth Southgate, and of course my two managers, Finny and
[6:59] Speaker 2: Thomas Dow. All of you played a big role in
[7:02] Speaker 2: my development, all at different stages in my life. Without
[7:06] Speaker 2: each and every one of you, I wouldn't be standing
[7:08] Speaker 2: here today. For sure, I learned lots. When you surround
[7:12] Speaker 2: yourself with the best people, with the best coaches, it
[7:14] Speaker 2: only improves you as a person and as a player.
[7:18] Speaker 1: Thank you very much. More personal ones now, Dr.
[7:24] Speaker 2: Alejandro Iloriaga Calaco, I hope I pronounced that right, you're
[7:28] Speaker 2: here tonight.
[7:29] Speaker 1: We've been working together nearly seven years.
[7:31] Speaker 2: We started working after I tore my hamstring pretty much
[7:35] Speaker 2: off the bone.
[7:37] Speaker 1: And yeah, he was.
[7:39] Speaker 2: A bright spark in my life at that time. We
[7:41] Speaker 2: started working together at the time. The commitment, the work
[7:44] Speaker 2: behind the scenes that no one else sees on the
[7:47] Speaker 2: treatment table, giving up time away from family, you giving
[7:51] Speaker 2: up time away from family, the work we do together,
[7:54] Speaker 2: the friendship we formed as well, it's a true honour,
[7:58] Speaker 2: so thank you for.
[7:59] Speaker 1: All your work.
[8:02] Speaker 2: To Kelly, Gary and Tom, my wife's parents and brother,
[8:07] Speaker 2: thank you very much. I know how much support you
[8:11] Speaker 2: give me. We all live these emotions together. You've made
[8:15] Speaker 2: me feel part of the family from when I stepped
[8:18] Speaker 2: into the house at 18 years old. So yeah, I
[8:21] Speaker 2: know how much help you help off the pitch. It
[8:25] Speaker 2: allows me to perform and do my best on the pitch.
[8:27] Speaker 2: So thank you very much. My brother Charlie, he's here tonight.
[8:36] Speaker 2: Didn't seem like long ago we was kicking a ball
[8:39] Speaker 2: around the garden, over the park. watching football, talking football,
[8:45] Speaker 2: just football mad. I know you tell me you gave
[8:48] Speaker 2: me a lot of your footballing abilities, so thank you
[8:50] Speaker 2: very much, I appreciate that. But yeah, to have that
[8:54] Speaker 2: love and support from an older brother means the world
[8:56] Speaker 2: to me. You travel, you watch, you give up time
[8:59] Speaker 2: with your family to support me, so thank you.
[9:03] Speaker 1: Mum and Dad, sitting there as well. What a moment.
[9:09] Speaker 2: All those years, the sacrifice you gave me, the support
[9:13] Speaker 2: you gave me, the times taking me to training, coming
[9:17] Speaker 2: to watch me play all around England, all around Germany,
[9:20] Speaker 2: no matter where it was, even to this day you're there.
[9:25] Speaker 2: There was never any pressure from you to... become a footballer,
[9:30] Speaker 2: it was always about working hard, it was always about improving,
[9:33] Speaker 2: it was always about learning, and all those traits that
[9:36] Speaker 2: you have given me have allowed me to be successful
[9:40] Speaker 2: and be here tonight, so yeah, I love you, thank
[9:43] Speaker 2: you very much. Couple more guys, sorry. Just my kids
[9:57] Speaker 2: at home watching. It's definitely partial. bedtime especially if we're
[10:01] Speaker 2: a little late and then we hope so uh to Ivy, Vivian,
[10:04] Speaker 2: Louis and Henry um you know you're the reason I
[10:08] Speaker 2: do this I hope uh you watching me I don't
[10:11] Speaker 2: think you'll fully maybe appreciate bringing this trophy home I'll
[10:13] Speaker 2: bring a few others home but this one is a
[10:15] Speaker 2: special one so I can't wait to see you and
[10:17] Speaker 2: celebrate with you um you know I want to set
[10:20] Speaker 2: good example being a father but also being a professional
[10:24] Speaker 2: and what it means to work hard, what it means
[10:27] Speaker 2: to believe in yourself and yeah I.
[10:30] Speaker 1: Love you very much.
[10:30] Speaker 2: To my wife Kate, my best friend We've been through
[10:44] Speaker 2: ups and downs, for sure. You're my biggest supporter. I
[10:47] Speaker 2: actually felt like you wanted this more than me, myself,
[10:51] Speaker 2: the anxious wait for us to find out. I know
[10:54] Speaker 2: it's been horrible for you, so here it is, we've
[10:57] Speaker 2: done it. Yeah, you always want the best for me.
[11:02] Speaker 2: You sacrifice yourself to help me achieve my dreams, and
[11:06] Speaker 2: I know they're your dreams as well, so it wouldn't
[11:09] Speaker 2: be possible without you.
[11:11] Speaker 1: This is a trophy that we celebrate, not me. It's
[11:14] Speaker 1: me and you.
[11:14] Speaker 2: It's all the family, all our close-knit team. So I
[11:19] Speaker 2: just want to say thank you.
[11:20] Speaker 1: I love you.
[11:21] Speaker 2: Can't wait to enjoy this and celebrate tonight for sure.
[11:24] Speaker 1: Love you. And then lastly for me, it's just a journey.
[11:36] Speaker 2: For any young boy or girl wanting to achieve their dreams,
[11:40] Speaker 2: anything is possible. With hard work, when no one else
[11:43] Speaker 2: is watching, to go through the ups and downs, to
[11:45] Speaker 2: learn through resilience, determination, and self-belief, like I said, anything
[11:51] Speaker 2: is possible. So I hope my journey wasn't straightforward. I
[11:54] Speaker 2: wasn't the kid who went straight to the top.
[11:56] Speaker 1: I had to.
[11:57] Speaker 2: experienced the downs, I'd experienced a lot of low moves,
[12:00] Speaker 2: I'd fight my way to be the very best right
[12:03] Speaker 2: now and I hope that can give you inspiration as well,
[12:06] Speaker 2: so yeah, thank you very.
[12:18] Speaker 1: Much.
[12:22] Speaker 3: I don't actually have a question. It's something I have
[12:25] Speaker 3: to say. Obviously, we were all debating and talking about
[12:29] Speaker 3: who's supposed to win or not. I'm always going to
[12:30] Speaker 3: back up my fellow Frenchmen. That's how it is. I'm French.
[12:33] Speaker 3: It's always going to be. But I have to say
[12:35] Speaker 3: something about Harry Kane. I've seen the beginning. We've all
[12:38] Speaker 3: seen the beginning. And Harry Kane is a perfect example
[12:42] Speaker 3: of work ethic is a talent. working hard is a talent,
[12:46] Speaker 3: not only the pure skill that you can have, that
[12:49] Speaker 3: people work hard, but this guy had to suffer really
[12:52] Speaker 3: hard to be able to achieve what he did achieve,
[12:56] Speaker 3: so whatever it is, you're a worthy winner, well done.
[12:59] Speaker 1: Thank you very much.
