[0:04] Speaker 1: Welcome to NFL Daily where chip Watch it's on firmly.
[0:09] Speaker 1: We're here in the Chris Westling podcast studio. What a trio?
[0:13] Speaker 1: Patrick Claibun to my right, Jordan Rodrieg to my left.
[0:18] Speaker 1: Is our news only show catching everybody up on this
[0:23] Speaker 1: Thursday in late July. Do we want to tag this
[0:26] Speaker 1: with a name? What do you think about camp Buzz?
[0:28] Speaker 2: Camp Buzz is good, it's quick.
[0:30] Speaker 3: Daily Buzz is a submission.
[0:32] Speaker 1: Daily Buzz.
[0:33] Speaker 4: You just said news only show, which made me think
[0:35] Speaker 4: of nos. No, that's not good because we just hit it.
[0:39] Speaker 2: Because we're all about family.
[0:41] Speaker 1: We are we hit it raising. Let's talk about one
[0:47] Speaker 1: of the men who might be under investigation for chip Watch.
[0:52] Speaker 1: It's Baker Mayfield. And yes, in these shows, we're going
[0:55] Speaker 1: to get you caught up with everything going on in
[0:57] Speaker 1: training camp. Teams across the league for the most part,
[1:01] Speaker 1: having their second full day of practice on Thursday, and
[1:05] Speaker 1: obviously there's a lot of news out there, including the
[1:07] Speaker 1: Baker Mayfield contract situation. We've got some great sound in
[1:11] Speaker 1: general on this Thursday show, and I gotta say Baker
[1:15] Speaker 1: in front of the podium was pretty captivating Thursday morning.
[1:19] Speaker 1: Let's hear him talk about the contract situation in particular.
[1:23] Speaker 5: Disappointing in that regard to to not have, you know,
[1:25] Speaker 5: to feel disrespect a little bit. And that's really the
[1:29] Speaker 5: disappointing part, to feel undervalued after you know, thinking you've
[1:33] Speaker 5: earned it. This is not a poor me things. There's
[1:36] Speaker 5: a lot other people that have it way worse off.
[1:39] Speaker 5: But I can sit here and look at other quarterbacks
[1:42] Speaker 5: and peers and evaluate myself based on that and put
[1:45] Speaker 5: myself in certain categories that I deserve to be compensated
[1:48] Speaker 5: for that. And I think I'm a franchise quarterback. I've
[1:51] Speaker 5: been told I'm a franchise quarterback. It's been said publicly
[1:53] Speaker 5: from ownership down here, and so to not have a
[1:56] Speaker 5: deal done is very disappointing. But I said the dead
[2:00] Speaker 5: line was a deadline, and I addressed the team to
[2:02] Speaker 5: let them know.
[2:03] Speaker 2: I meant that.
[2:05] Speaker 4: Perthal addressing the team like calling everybody together to let
[2:08] Speaker 4: them know that you've been disrespected. He said it was
[2:11] Speaker 4: disappointed twice, said he was undervalued.
[2:13] Speaker 3: Not mad, Not mad.
[2:14] Speaker 4: I cannot officially put him on chipwatch because the player
[2:17] Speaker 4: needs to say that they have a chip on their
[2:20] Speaker 4: shoulder because there's a special value that's applied to that
[2:23] Speaker 4: for some reason.
[2:24] Speaker 2: But I appreciate the honesty.
[2:26] Speaker 4: The one thing that I want, like, let's get really mad,
[2:29] Speaker 4: let's make it exceedingly messy.
[2:31] Speaker 2: Give me the years, give me the guarantees.
[2:34] Speaker 4: Right there at the mic, Baker like say, this is
[2:36] Speaker 4: how much I was disrespected. This is who's making more
[2:39] Speaker 4: than that. I'm better than that guy.
[2:40] Speaker 1: That's for I wanted. We got a little of that. Actually,
[2:43] Speaker 1: in a way I've almost never seen. Jeremy Fowler interviewed
[2:45] Speaker 1: him for ESPN, although Jeremy Fowler, you know, with the
[2:49] Speaker 1: two companies coming together, was on Good Morning Football this morning,
[2:53] Speaker 1: so you're just seeing all this.
[2:54] Speaker 2: It's a circle.
[2:55] Speaker 1: Baker. Mayfield made it clear to Jeremy Fowler he was
[2:58] Speaker 1: looking for more than fifty million dollars a year, so
[3:01] Speaker 1: he put a number on it there and that the
[3:02] Speaker 1: Bucks didn't get that close to that. And he also
[3:06] Speaker 1: said that they only offered him a two year contract.
[3:09] Speaker 1: Now he has he has one year deal. One you're
[3:13] Speaker 1: left on his deal, so if that's a two year extend,
[3:14] Speaker 1: it's kind of a three. But he he gave some
[3:17] Speaker 1: specifics there and he's thrown it out there that hey, look,
[3:20] Speaker 1: you want to play the franchise tag game with me?
[3:22] Speaker 1: Bet like I'll be the next Kirk Cousins.
[3:25] Speaker 6: The way he sat there and spoke with such clarity
[3:28] Speaker 6: and then dropped in that I called the team together,
[3:32] Speaker 6: he said, I'm in freaking charge. Fellas he said that
[3:35] Speaker 6: right to the front office, to the coaching staff.
[3:37] Speaker 3: He goes, I am the captain.
[3:39] Speaker 1: Now it's true. And when he says, you know, brought
[3:43] Speaker 1: the team together, that's his teammates. And I think that's
[3:46] Speaker 1: good leadership because ultimately it is something that they could
[3:50] Speaker 1: be asked about, that will be talked about, and it's
[3:53] Speaker 1: the first couple of days of camp and you just
[3:54] Speaker 1: kind of want to nip that in the button, tell everyone, hey,
[3:57] Speaker 1: this is where I'm at. It's not going to be
[3:59] Speaker 1: a thing for me, but like this, this is what happened,
[4:01] Speaker 1: and that way they'll be able to answer it. And
[4:04] Speaker 1: I appreciate it. I love this, Like Baker is this
[4:07] Speaker 1: three point zero? I feel like right now era.
[4:10] Speaker 6: Dad Strength in bacamp, Mayfield colon Dad Strength.
[4:14] Speaker 1: And I talked about a world where like he's already
[4:16] Speaker 1: played his best football. But if you're Baker Mayfield, like
[4:18] Speaker 1: you're not believing that, And it's not like he's that old,
[4:21] Speaker 1: like Dak Prescott just turned thirty three, and I think
[4:23] Speaker 1: of Dak Prescott like squarely in the middle of his
[4:25] Speaker 1: prime still and Baker Mayfield, you know, based on everything
[4:29] Speaker 1: should should feel that and just sets up a spicy situation.
[4:33] Speaker 6: Yeah, listen, I'm not going to like try to psychoanalyze
[4:35] Speaker 6: some of the motivations of being that clear at the
[4:38] Speaker 6: podium the way that he was. You rarely hear a
[4:40] Speaker 6: quarterback or any player come out and speak that, I guess,
[4:44] Speaker 6: like effusively at a in a podium situation about the
[4:48] Speaker 6: situation and then later follow up on it with a reporter.
[4:51] Speaker 6: Videve is also going through a contract dispute or a
[4:54] Speaker 6: contract situation with the with the Buccaneers and as holding
[4:58] Speaker 6: in And I just want to say that when a
[5:00] Speaker 6: player at any position, also here's his quarterback willing to
[5:05] Speaker 6: go out there and basically hold the organization's feet to
[5:08] Speaker 6: the fire, it also empowers that player. And I would
[5:11] Speaker 6: not be surprised at all if these two have spoken
[5:13] Speaker 6: about it, If these two have discussed we you know,
[5:16] Speaker 6: standing firm and staying together on certain things. It's not
[5:20] Speaker 6: like the contracts aren't necessarily going to look the same
[5:22] Speaker 6: or whatever, but in terms of, hey, people should get
[5:26] Speaker 6: paid here historically they pay their players. Just let Mike
[5:29] Speaker 6: Evans go, this is not going to happen to us.
[5:32] Speaker 6: Stand firm and be on one accord him saying I
[5:35] Speaker 6: called everyone together.
[5:37] Speaker 3: It made it.
[5:37] Speaker 6: There's a divide immediately us and them. That's immediately what
[5:40] Speaker 6: that sounded.
[5:41] Speaker 1: Like to me, which is crazy because you know, the
[5:43] Speaker 1: Bucks feel like they've been one of the better run
[5:44] Speaker 1: organizations in a while. But hey, maybe it'll be like
[5:47] Speaker 1: a major league situation, you know, prove them all wrong. Fowler,
[5:51] Speaker 1: who I previously mentioned a lot of Fowler pop here,
[5:53] Speaker 1: was on Good Morning Football talking about that v toa
[5:55] Speaker 1: aas situation, saying that they have received several calls from
[5:59] Speaker 1: other teams a lot of interest, but the Buccaneers have
[6:03] Speaker 1: no interest in trading Vitavea. They are not believed to
[6:07] Speaker 1: be too close on contract terms. But at least the
[6:09] Speaker 1: public stance kind of through reporters that the Bucks are
[6:13] Speaker 1: taking right now is that there's no interest in it.
[6:15] Speaker 1: I wonder if the Chargers were one of them.
[6:18] Speaker 4: I feel like there's any number of teams that could
[6:20] Speaker 4: benefit from having a Vitavea And that's the discussion we've
[6:22] Speaker 4: had on the Insiders this week.
[6:23] Speaker 2: Shout out to the TV show.
[6:26] Speaker 4: That there were calls during the Vidavea holdout through Mini
[6:29] Speaker 4: camp like this has been a constant conversation and it
[6:32] Speaker 4: feels as though the Buccaneers are willing to enjoy the
[6:36] Speaker 4: rights to the player at this particular moment, but in
[6:39] Speaker 4: both of these situations aren't necessarily ready to make a
[6:42] Speaker 4: long term commitment. And this is after the departure of
[6:45] Speaker 4: mister Buccaneer Mike Evans in the off season, where I
[6:48] Speaker 4: feel like some people in Tampa Bay might start looking
[6:50] Speaker 4: at the franchise a little bit differently than we do
[6:53] Speaker 4: through this lens of oh well, they've managed all these
[6:55] Speaker 4: relationships greatly and navigated these contract circumstances.
[6:59] Speaker 2: It appears the corner might have been turned.
[7:02] Speaker 1: Not a popular ownership group back in the day, and
[7:05] Speaker 1: certainly not with like their football teams back in the
[7:09] Speaker 1: day forty nine ers. Maybe one of those teams calling
[7:12] Speaker 1: about Videvea are quote concerned with Ricky Pearsall's latest injury
[7:17] Speaker 1: that I mentioned on Wednesday show, But I did just
[7:19] Speaker 1: want to follow up Qus quickly because it sounds like
[7:22] Speaker 1: surgery is an option. I saw one reporter throughout there
[7:25] Speaker 1: that it could potentially be a season ending surgery, which
[7:29] Speaker 1: is absolutely brutal. They've had a bad couple of days
[7:31] Speaker 1: of camp in terms of injuries. Malik Mustafa, their safety
[7:34] Speaker 1: who's battling for a starting job, also has a hamstring injury,
[7:38] Speaker 1: which sounds like it's going to take him some time.
[7:40] Speaker 1: And they're they're suddenly pretty thin at receiver. If you know,
[7:45] Speaker 1: Christian Kirk is out already, Pearsall's out already, and that
[7:48] Speaker 1: could be more long term, and maybe it's Deebo Samuel time.
[7:52] Speaker 1: You know.
[7:53] Speaker 6: During our NFC West preview, Greg my most important on
[7:58] Speaker 6: quarterback was the forty nine ers medical staff, and I
[8:01] Speaker 6: have to say I am already feeling very let down
[8:03] Speaker 6: by selection.
[8:04] Speaker 1: Well, you know, it's not their fault. Hopefully they can
[8:06] Speaker 1: handle it well. And unfortunately them doing a good job
[8:11] Speaker 1: might be having Ricky Piersoll have this surgery, which by
[8:15] Speaker 1: the way, he avoided having all off season, and people
[8:19] Speaker 1: kind of noted he's been wearing that compression sleeve and
[8:21] Speaker 1: there was conversation that this LCL thing was like bothering him,
[8:24] Speaker 1: but he didn't want to go under the knife because
[8:26] Speaker 1: it would be a long recovery and maybe he could
[8:29] Speaker 1: have gotten better advice back then to take care of it.
[8:32] Speaker 3: Well, where's he getting the advice from?
[8:34] Speaker 2: There? You go?
[8:35] Speaker 4: It's that timeline, the surgery timeline that we seem to
[8:38] Speaker 4: frequently come up with certain franchises where a lot of
[8:41] Speaker 4: times they would prefer you to have that surgery during
[8:44] Speaker 4: your off season as opposed to right during the season,
[8:46] Speaker 4: where especially in a season where you're pushing to come
[8:49] Speaker 4: back from the actual injury, that's going to be the
[8:52] Speaker 4: lingering issue. You know, there's branches of connections to these injuries.
[8:57] Speaker 4: Is one will lead to another and beget another, especially
[8:59] Speaker 4: as you're playing a violent sport that we do, or
[9:03] Speaker 4: maybe the real issue is coming back in actual season
[9:08] Speaker 4: where it happened.
[9:09] Speaker 1: And unfortunately with Piersoll, it's been one thing after another.
[9:12] Speaker 1: It's often been the knee, but even going back to college,
[9:17] Speaker 1: as you say football, what do you say, It's like,
[9:19] Speaker 1: it's not good for you. It's not good for you,
[9:21] Speaker 1: and it's especially not good for Ricky Piersol. And unfortunately
[9:24] Speaker 1: it just maybe part of his experience and gonna cost
[9:26] Speaker 1: him a lot of money. One thing I didn't note
[9:28] Speaker 1: on Wednesday show because the Broncos hadn't practiced yet. Bo
[9:31] Speaker 1: Nicks is just out there. He's just out there in
[9:33] Speaker 1: team drills. He's doing everything. I sort of wondered if
[9:36] Speaker 1: that would be the case we had these back to
[9:38] Speaker 1: back surgeries. He had the follow up. There's no limitations.
[9:42] Speaker 1: It's not like a lot of the players that are
[9:44] Speaker 1: coming back from injury. He's just throwing dimes in the
[9:48] Speaker 1: end zones. I just you know, I wanted some positive injury. Yeah,
[9:51] Speaker 1: Bo Nicks, he's back. Tucker Craft of the Packers says
[9:56] Speaker 1: he will be practicing sooner than later. I thought it
[10:00] Speaker 1: was notable, Jordan, that both he and the front office
[10:06] Speaker 1: publicly put a timeline on a him coming back to
[10:10] Speaker 1: the field, which is great, he's coming back from the
[10:12] Speaker 1: tourney s yeah, but also that they kind of expect
[10:14] Speaker 1: and I really hope for an extension before the season,
[10:17] Speaker 1: which you would imagine would pay him as either the
[10:20] Speaker 1: top tight end in the league or very close to it,
[10:22] Speaker 1: So they might. They must be close on that if
[10:24] Speaker 1: they're talking publicly that way, I mean.
[10:26] Speaker 3: Super selfishly.
[10:27] Speaker 6: I hope it happens over the next weekend, and yes
[10:30] Speaker 6: days I'm going to be there, so I would really
[10:33] Speaker 6: really hope that this happens while I am there.
[10:35] Speaker 3: Tucker Kraft would love to speak to you about this.
[10:38] Speaker 1: NFL Daily Insider Jordan Rodrigue showing up for work, so
[10:42] Speaker 1: good news there for the Packers. Mike Vrabel was asked
[10:46] Speaker 1: about the wide receiver situation in New England. And because
[10:51] Speaker 1: we like to overreact to the first week of training
[10:53] Speaker 1: camp and the Patriots started first, it has been like
[10:56] Speaker 1: a drum beat in New England that day after day.
[10:59] Speaker 1: Kaishan Boody has been the best receiver in camp. That
[11:01] Speaker 1: the most effective throw in camp has definitely not been
[11:04] Speaker 1: to a J. Brown, where like Drake May just can't
[11:06] Speaker 1: get the connection going. Apparently that got better on Thursday
[11:08] Speaker 1: a little bit, but they've been struggling to see him open.
[11:10] Speaker 1: Romeo Dobbs has been like totally silent, maybe struggling to
[11:13] Speaker 1: pick up the offense. It's eartaly, this is what you
[11:15] Speaker 1: would expect. Josh mcdan's it's all it's all new. Meanwhile,
[11:18] Speaker 1: Kayshaun Booty's out there proven people wrong day after day,
[11:21] Speaker 1: and I wouldn't have made that part of the news.
[11:23] Speaker 1: Booty is rocking year after year, Booty is always rocking.
[11:27] Speaker 1: I wouldn't have made that part of the news. But
[11:30] Speaker 1: Mike Rabel was asked about the wide receiver depth and
[11:32] Speaker 1: I thought had a telling answer.
[11:35] Speaker 7: Men love having depth, but I would say that, you know,
[11:38] Speaker 7: we're always going to try to look to, you know,
[11:41] Speaker 7: and improve, whether that's by adding you know, draft capital,
[11:48] Speaker 7: painting a player, or you know, keeping the guys we have.
[11:52] Speaker 1: So you're asked about how much great depth you suddenly
[11:55] Speaker 1: have in a position, the first thing you talk about
[11:57] Speaker 1: is we'd like to add some draft capital to be
[12:00] Speaker 1: That was like a big, big for sale.
[12:02] Speaker 4: Sudi is massive, there is and you know, Eric DaCosta,
[12:07] Speaker 4: anybody that may be interested in the services of Kashan.
[12:09] Speaker 4: But the price is going up, and I would say
[12:12] Speaker 4: the New England Patriots aren't above raising the price by
[12:15] Speaker 4: being like, hey, Drake, why don't we why don't we
[12:19] Speaker 4: miss a a little bit? Throw one of those good
[12:23] Speaker 4: ones to Kaishaw.
[12:26] Speaker 1: He's just thrown to the open man and Kaishan doesn't
[12:28] Speaker 1: even need to be open.
[12:30] Speaker 6: Drake May is like, why is our practice script suddenly
[12:32] Speaker 6: scripted like this.
[12:34] Speaker 2: Booty all the way down. It's where guy's Instagram page.
[12:37] Speaker 1: It's our booty all the time. It's time for the
[12:41] Speaker 1: off season ride along presented by Toyota. Let's go to Ta.
[12:45] Speaker 1: Tungabailoa started the training camp on the sideline, already back
[12:50] Speaker 1: at practice a little bit individual drills, not doing teamwork,
[12:55] Speaker 1: and so I believe it's our it's our man. Shoot
[12:58] Speaker 1: one day later and I'm already forgetting his name. No,
[13:02] Speaker 1: not on the falcony Extrand dat Dax strand that one.
[13:08] Speaker 1: So I think it's still him and maybe Cooper Rush
[13:10] Speaker 1: in team drills.
[13:11] Speaker 3: But Ryan's throwing passes out there.
[13:13] Speaker 2: Wait, is that a real thing?
[13:14] Speaker 3: That is a real sure?
[13:15] Speaker 6: That's not like that is a real thing an individual
[13:18] Speaker 6: like just you know, kind of casually.
[13:21] Speaker 3: This is uh.
[13:22] Speaker 6: Will McFadden posted this on social media earlier and said, man,
[13:26] Speaker 6: I'm paraphrasing Will. I'm sorry, said, man, it doesn't get
[13:29] Speaker 6: old watching Matt Ryan throw the football. Matt Ryan was
[13:32] Speaker 6: out there, like physically on the field throwing the ball
[13:34] Speaker 6: to receivers, not in team drills, but he's out there
[13:37] Speaker 6: throwing the ball.
[13:37] Speaker 1: Well, they got enough for the individuals because Michael Pennox
[13:39] Speaker 1: through like a fifty yard bomb that I saw that
[13:42] Speaker 1: there was a video of. I think it was the keys. No,
[13:45] Speaker 1: it's the dots and dat. So his arm's fine and
[13:48] Speaker 1: he's getting back to it. But now, yeah, they have
[13:50] Speaker 1: all these guys that can partially practice. But at least
[13:53] Speaker 1: it gives me some confidence.
[13:55] Speaker 4: Maybe the TUA injury that long, and I appreciate the
[13:57] Speaker 4: honesty for Marco Pennixt. They're like speaking to the elephant
[14:00] Speaker 4: in the room, like, guys, this is not my first
[14:03] Speaker 4: it's not my second ACL recovery. We are going to
[14:07] Speaker 4: not take this slowly, but be cautious and not try
[14:10] Speaker 4: to rush anything back. But the TULA back thing, you know,
[14:15] Speaker 4: people get dinged up at camp a little bit glad
[14:17] Speaker 4: to see you know he's already back.
[14:18] Speaker 1: I mean, at some point you're gonna have to take contact.
[14:20] Speaker 1: I would guess he is the week one starter for
[14:24] Speaker 1: Atlanta if he can stay healthy based on Michael Pennox's
[14:27] Speaker 1: timeline for returning to team drills. But camp is long,
[14:29] Speaker 1: like Hall of Fame Game is next week. That's part
[14:33] Speaker 1: of a four week preseason if you include the Hall
[14:36] Speaker 1: of Fame game, and then there's like another week of
[14:38] Speaker 1: transactions after that, we still got a while to week one,
[14:40] Speaker 1: so plenty of time for these guys to get ready.
[14:43] Speaker 1: That was the off season ride along presented by Toyota
[14:46] Speaker 1: because when people are the destination, your ride is important.
[14:50] Speaker 1: Learn more at Toyota dot com and find the vehicle
[14:53] Speaker 1: that fits your people. Roma Dunday is another guy who
[14:56] Speaker 1: was hurt for much of the off season that I
[14:58] Speaker 1: was concerned about because it was this recurring foot injury.
[15:01] Speaker 1: He reportedly looked great practicing fully at Bears practice, so
[15:04] Speaker 1: that that's great to see, and there was some video
[15:06] Speaker 1: of him really cutting hard and I like to see that.
[15:08] Speaker 1: Pukinakua is a guy that people wondered, could he possibly
[15:13] Speaker 1: like sit out of camp because of he you know,
[15:17] Speaker 1: he's one of the most underpaid players in NFL history
[15:19] Speaker 1: if looked at through a certain lens. No, he's been
[15:23] Speaker 1: out there, and you got to think the off season
[15:26] Speaker 1: that he had and what happened late last season off
[15:30] Speaker 1: the field is impacting that stance. Let's listen to pokin
[15:33] Speaker 1: Akua meeting with the media.
[15:35] Speaker 8: There have been things that obviously have happened this offseason
[15:38] Speaker 8: that haven't been the truest reflection of the person I
[15:40] Speaker 8: feel like I am and how my mother raised me.
[15:43] Speaker 8: And there's definitely been conversations with her to to apologize,
[15:46] Speaker 8: but also for her to say that she supports me.
[15:49] Speaker 8: And also my brothers are are I think my biggest
[15:51] Speaker 8: critics as well, So I'm like there there were some
[15:54] Speaker 8: some intense conversations, but loving conversations.
[15:57] Speaker 2: In order to see improvement, let's address the thing.
[16:01] Speaker 4: I don't think you need to single out family members,
[16:04] Speaker 4: especially your mother, when you're trying to talk about behavior
[16:07] Speaker 4: that you would like to change and you were committed
[16:10] Speaker 4: to changing, then we could highlight the things that led
[16:12] Speaker 4: to those particular things, like if somebody has been kicked
[16:15] Speaker 4: off of Twitch twice for anti semitism and then you
[16:17] Speaker 4: go on their stream, I don't even know what you
[16:20] Speaker 4: call those things. I'm old and out of touch and
[16:23] Speaker 4: they ask you to do something jokingly, partly insulting everybody
[16:27] Speaker 4: else's intelligence but also yours. At a certain point, you
[16:30] Speaker 4: have to grow up and you have to acknowledge the
[16:33] Speaker 4: thing and not talk about how you're the type of person,
[16:37] Speaker 4: because we know what you're the type of person, or
[16:39] Speaker 4: you're a person who's done these things. So say specifically
[16:42] Speaker 4: what you were not going to do and why you're
[16:43] Speaker 4: not going to do it. I think that would go
[16:45] Speaker 4: a long way for me. I'm not sure how the
[16:47] Speaker 4: RAMS would prefer he approached this. Maybe they would like
[16:50] Speaker 4: to not talk about the thing. I don't know, But
[16:52] Speaker 4: if it were me, let's talk about the thing and
[16:55] Speaker 4: why you're not going to.
[16:56] Speaker 2: Do it anymore.
[16:56] Speaker 6: Yeah, I would say, I would say that my unders
[17:00] Speaker 6: standing as internally they are talking about the thing and
[17:02] Speaker 6: the many things I would say.
[17:04] Speaker 1: Because a civil suit, yeah, a lady who accused him
[17:10] Speaker 1: of bite marks and assault, all that is happening as well.
[17:13] Speaker 6: Yeah, so I'm going to do the annoying reporter thing
[17:15] Speaker 6: where I cite my own work. Sorry, but at the
[17:21] Speaker 6: out of league out of league meetings, I did a
[17:22] Speaker 6: lot of digging on this situation and what the potential
[17:26] Speaker 6: fallout was going to be, and the real, very real
[17:28] Speaker 6: concern from the team at the time about these issues,
[17:33] Speaker 6: wanting to be encouraging for him to get help.
[17:35] Speaker 3: And then also.
[17:37] Speaker 6: Maybe the outside looks like the duck on the top
[17:40] Speaker 6: of the surface of the water, but on the inside,
[17:42] Speaker 6: very real steps being taken to address these sorts of
[17:46] Speaker 6: off the field issues that he's had that he's gotten
[17:48] Speaker 6: himself into, frankly, and so for me, there's all this
[17:53] Speaker 6: stuff coming out like, oh, he reported to camp. There
[17:55] Speaker 6: was a reporter there this week at RAMS who was
[18:00] Speaker 6: asking Sean McVay, you know, does it say he's a
[18:03] Speaker 6: good teammate that he's at camp right now? And that's
[18:05] Speaker 6: my whole stance on the entire thing is he knows
[18:09] Speaker 6: it's the expectation that he's there, and he he he
[18:12] Speaker 6: also has internal and like values that it is the
[18:14] Speaker 6: expectation that he is there. This contract situation, it's coming
[18:18] Speaker 6: up in the news again, but again out of league meetings.
[18:21] Speaker 6: I have a story in the Athletic where among the
[18:23] Speaker 6: things that are discussed in it is how the Rams
[18:26] Speaker 6: really need to see off the field improvement from him
[18:29] Speaker 6: and genuine development as a person, like as an adult
[18:33] Speaker 6: and and and as a father of a kid at
[18:37] Speaker 6: before you know, before they start discussing these things, something
[18:39] Speaker 6: that he's very aware of and and also bought into,
[18:43] Speaker 6: which is why he's there. And so that's the thing
[18:45] Speaker 6: that's not being talked about here as much that I
[18:47] Speaker 6: think should is is that there's a mutual understanding here
[18:50] Speaker 6: and then this is a situation where the Rams, you
[18:53] Speaker 6: know they never franchise tag players for example, Well when
[18:57] Speaker 6: if they're not convinced or if they're not sure that
[19:00] Speaker 6: this is a situation where he's taking true positive steps
[19:03] Speaker 6: forward that they are looking at internally, that's something that
[19:06] Speaker 6: probably will be in discussion. You know, this is a
[19:09] Speaker 6: team that never does in early extensions anyway until as
[19:13] Speaker 6: late as possible in training camp. So to me, the
[19:16] Speaker 6: timeline really starts at the end of this training camp
[19:19] Speaker 6: and goes all the way into next year and into
[19:22] Speaker 6: next training camp. That is my opinion of what the
[19:25] Speaker 6: timeline is. I hope everybody is safe. I hope everybody
[19:29] Speaker 6: treats each other correctly and with respect, and that this
[19:32] Speaker 6: situation is something that you know, he looks back on
[19:35] Speaker 6: and is like, really glad I learned from all of.
[19:38] Speaker 1: That, right, And it's ultimately leverage, which is it's hard
[19:44] Speaker 1: to think about it in contract real terms, but they're
[19:47] Speaker 1: using it as leverage. And like, look, teams will always
[19:51] Speaker 1: look past. There's a slide and scale of NFL justice.
[19:54] Speaker 1: That's how I see it. Look Alec Jackson is on
[19:56] Speaker 1: this team, He's facing out allegations as well like a
[20:00] Speaker 1: and so there's some sliding scale of Puka just you know,
[20:04] Speaker 1: keeping his nose clean in their mind and showing like
[20:07] Speaker 1: maturity and how he plays, and then he'll be a
[20:10] Speaker 1: RAM for a long time. If not, he won't be.
[20:13] Speaker 1: The Alvin Kamara situation has been odd this offseason because
[20:17] Speaker 1: it felt like at times the media, specifically Jeff Duncan
[20:22] Speaker 1: of the New Orleans Times, picky un was trying to
[20:25] Speaker 1: push him off the team. He had a very direct,
[20:29] Speaker 1: you know column saying like it's time for Alvin Kamara
[20:32] Speaker 1: to go. You don't have to put you know, too
[20:36] Speaker 1: many dots together and connect them to see like there
[20:40] Speaker 1: were some things in there that felt like it was
[20:42] Speaker 1: coming from the front office, maybe Mickey Loomis who had
[20:44] Speaker 1: been there for a long time, like Jeff Duncan, who knows.
[20:46] Speaker 1: And this is why it's a little inside baseball. But
[20:49] Speaker 1: I found this exchange between Duncan and Alvin Kamara on
[20:54] Speaker 1: his first day back at training camp just delicious.
[20:57] Speaker 2: Well said to motivated his sall om, there.
[21:03] Speaker 3: Was that accurate or is he.
[21:04] Speaker 1: Just no answer not for you?
[21:14] Speaker 2: Well look at it, Tron said, you were motivated.
[21:19] Speaker 1: Yeah, man, and me and Sarn and Mark have private conversations.
[21:22] Speaker 1: I'm motivated every year. I mean, he also had some
[21:25] Speaker 1: public conversations on toront Armstead's podcast, which I think they
[21:29] Speaker 1: were referring to, So in fairness, that was out there.
[21:32] Speaker 1: I wish, you know, if everyone can see that that
[21:33] Speaker 1: already Saints fans are using the look on Alvin Kamara's
[21:37] Speaker 1: dismissive face as a meme and uh, and I loved it.
[21:41] Speaker 1: This This guy knew, this guy knew that Duncan was
[21:45] Speaker 1: trying to get him fired. And I think, ultimately, if
[21:48] Speaker 1: I had to guess, like someone might have stepped in
[21:50] Speaker 1: there and stopped it because he took a big pay
[21:52] Speaker 1: cut to stay. But he's still making making good money.
[21:55] Speaker 1: And it's a better world when Alvin Kamara is on
[21:57] Speaker 1: the scene.
[21:57] Speaker 4: Still, Yeah, he he is uh New Orleans Saints and
[22:01] Speaker 4: a lot of capacities, and there's a real identity for
[22:04] Speaker 4: Alvin Kamara and the fan base. And I think when
[22:07] Speaker 4: you've covered a team as long as as Jeff Duncan
[22:10] Speaker 4: has and kind of stepped out out, you've you've run
[22:12] Speaker 4: a foul of a few players. I believe there was
[22:14] Speaker 4: a Michael Thomas tweet, you know, where he said some
[22:17] Speaker 4: things about Jeff Duncan.
[22:19] Speaker 3: Well he something about gardening, right, yeah, okay.
[22:23] Speaker 4: He's he referred him, uh you know, said that he
[22:27] Speaker 4: needed to do things for for clicks, which I guess,
[22:29] Speaker 4: like that's what we all do, right, we all you know,
[22:32] Speaker 4: say things in hopes of uh gaining intention.
[22:35] Speaker 1: What do you think about this headline from Pro Football
[22:37] Speaker 1: Talk on Wednesday? Williams, all Right, Alvin Kamara doesn't have
[22:43] Speaker 1: a chip on his shoulder, but he is motivated.
[22:47] Speaker 4: Well, now I have several questions, right, Well.
[22:51] Speaker 1: Part of the Yeah, there was a longer back and forth.
[22:53] Speaker 1: Apparently that was a little awkward. He said he would,
[22:55] Speaker 1: but he said he's motivated every year said no chip,
[22:58] Speaker 1: no chips, and thus here directly asked a chip. No
[23:02] Speaker 1: pissed Maybe so he's pissed not a chip. Described the
[23:06] Speaker 1: differences between being pissed and having the chain.
[23:09] Speaker 4: Well, in my understanding of the chip, the chip is
[23:12] Speaker 4: being pissed but also making you try harder.
[23:15] Speaker 2: I believe what Alma Kamara is saying. He always tries hard.
[23:18] Speaker 4: He's on team KLAYVI, so he doesn't necessarily have a
[23:21] Speaker 4: chip on his shoulder. He remembers the slights and wrongs
[23:25] Speaker 4: perhaps from his perspective, but that doesn't augment the way
[23:29] Speaker 4: he plays football. But if given an opportunity to say
[23:32] Speaker 4: I don't necessarily like this particular person, he will take
[23:35] Speaker 4: that opportunity.
[23:35] Speaker 1: Shout out to to everyone involved there and shout out
[23:38] Speaker 1: to Taysom Hill, by the way, who said I was
[23:40] Speaker 1: gonna end the show with this, but he said bye
[23:42] Speaker 1: to the Saints. Uh oh, we kind of knew that
[23:45] Speaker 1: it was likely his career was over with the Saints.
[23:48] Speaker 1: He is not closing the door, it sounded like on
[23:50] Speaker 1: what was next in his career. So he indicated maybe
[23:53] Speaker 1: he still wants to try to play NFL football, and
[23:56] Speaker 1: I don't know if that's going to happen to him,
[23:57] Speaker 1: but he did say it's not gonna happen with the
[23:58] Speaker 1: Saints and said good by. And there was a great
[24:02] Speaker 1: vo read by Drew Brees of just like what a
[24:06] Speaker 1: like team legend Taysom Hill is? How about this for
[24:08] Speaker 1: a career twenty five hundred rushing yards, almost twenty five
[24:12] Speaker 1: hundred passing yards, a thousand receiving yards, and then almost
[24:17] Speaker 1: five hundred return yards plus fifty seven touchdowns. Really over
[24:21] Speaker 1: in indexing with the touchdowns, that's a lot of touchdowns.
[24:25] Speaker 1: A one of one, Taysom Hill. We enjoyed you with
[24:28] Speaker 1: the Saints.
[24:28] Speaker 2: Wish it was fifty six.
[24:29] Speaker 4: Al Kamara would have had the record on that one
[24:31] Speaker 4: holiday night, but for some reason, Seo Payton cave Taysom Hill.
[24:35] Speaker 1: Was that it Well, he had forty five rushing and
[24:37] Speaker 1: receiving touchdowns and twelve passing touchdowns. I was, I was
[24:40] Speaker 1: combining them all. I don't even know, but so long
[24:43] Speaker 1: to Taysom Hill. How about Garrett Wilson talking about that
[24:47] Speaker 1: this year with Gino Smith, that quarterback, it's gonna be
[24:50] Speaker 1: spitting is my.
[24:51] Speaker 9: Fifth year, and you know, I can't believe it, but
[24:54] Speaker 9: like I just like I just said, man, it's gonna
[24:57] Speaker 9: I have a feeling just it's gonna be special year.
[24:59] Speaker 1: You get just the f year.
[25:00] Speaker 9: I'm excited to get another opportunity to do what I've
[25:03] Speaker 9: always dreamed of and you know, just play some meaning
[25:07] Speaker 9: for football into the winner and you know, we got
[25:09] Speaker 9: a special opportunity this year. Man, I'm excited for my
[25:11] Speaker 9: fifth year. It's crazy.
[25:14] Speaker 1: How's that making you feel? Jordan? About the passage of
[25:16] Speaker 1: time that Garret Wilson is in his fifth year and
[25:18] Speaker 1: so much optimism.
[25:20] Speaker 3: Well, you know, probably not as old as it makes
[25:22] Speaker 3: you feel. Greg.
[25:22] Speaker 1: So I mean, either way, his career to now has
[25:26] Speaker 1: has made the same. You know, it's still five years.
[25:29] Speaker 3: I love.
[25:30] Speaker 1: I feel like your age five years is actually like
[25:33] Speaker 1: a bigger deal, you know, because it's a bigger percentage
[25:36] Speaker 1: of your life. You know, you were you were a
[25:37] Speaker 1: lot different five years ago. I think of where you were,
[25:39] Speaker 1: so I know you were in your twenties, it was
[25:41] Speaker 1: before it.
[25:42] Speaker 6: Was before I hit the the Greg rosenfalt Thal development program.
[25:46] Speaker 6: It really really stoked about all of that. Yeah, I
[25:51] Speaker 6: like his optimism he year over year. I like the optimism.
[25:54] Speaker 6: I hope it is real. I hope for him that
[25:56] Speaker 6: it is real. I hope for Jets fans that it
[25:59] Speaker 6: is final real. You know, kind of a bumpy off
[26:02] Speaker 6: season in terms of with Gino Smith and and just
[26:05] Speaker 6: the team in general and kind of wondering what they're
[26:07] Speaker 6: going to be. And so I think that when you
[26:10] Speaker 6: come into camp and he just starts throwing it around
[26:12] Speaker 6: and Garrett Wilson's feeling like a big part of progress,
[26:16] Speaker 6: That's really what I think gives people hope. This time
[26:18] Speaker 6: of year is feeling like there's gonna be progress.
[26:20] Speaker 1: Aaron Glenn was saying, like how much he learned from
[26:22] Speaker 1: last year? Like what, well, what did you learn? You know?
[26:24] Speaker 2: In terms of me?
[26:25] Speaker 1: He's like, well, I'm keeping that to myself. You know,
[26:27] Speaker 1: We're come on, Aaron Glen. David Bailey supposedly just wrecking
[26:31] Speaker 1: shop at practice, sack after sex. That's awesome, Although David
[26:34] Speaker 1: Bailey and non padded practice feels unfair like he would
[26:38] Speaker 1: be pretty high on the list of draft picks in
[26:40] Speaker 1: the entire NFL to win without pass especially.
[26:43] Speaker 4: Because he wears nothing on his arms anyway, So it's
[26:46] Speaker 4: like the less that there's on, like David Bailey gets easy.
[26:49] Speaker 1: True, I just do that, Garrett Wilson in because I like,
[26:52] Speaker 1: I like the beginning of camp optimism, even for the
[26:55] Speaker 1: teams that that don't have a lot.
[26:57] Speaker 6: Can I just though, and don't give don't knock Karon
[27:00] Speaker 6: Glenn for not sharing, because what happens in week four
[27:03] Speaker 6: If he says I really learned, you know, I really
[27:05] Speaker 6: studied timeouts and how to call them better and manage
[27:08] Speaker 6: the game better, and then Game four, some disaster happens
[27:11] Speaker 6: that's maybe out of his control.
[27:12] Speaker 3: Maybe in his control.
[27:13] Speaker 6: Every headline from that media out from all the media
[27:16] Speaker 6: outlet's up there is Aaron Glenn said he did this,
[27:19] Speaker 6: but he's wrong, is you know? So don's for being
[27:24] Speaker 6: vague or at least not as specific as maybe Greg
[27:26] Speaker 6: rosenhought once.
[27:27] Speaker 1: It's good to just be honest. He's going to get
[27:29] Speaker 1: fired anyways. You'll feel better about yourself.
[27:32] Speaker 4: That's the major league team, and now there's going to
[27:35] Speaker 4: be picture Greg Rosenthal's some swim trunks in the locker room.
[27:37] Speaker 3: Chip Watch.
[27:38] Speaker 1: I mean, I'm rooting for the Jets with Gino there.
[27:40] Speaker 1: Let's listen to Max Crosby, who we mentioned was specifically
[27:43] Speaker 1: brought up by NFL Networks Jane Slater to Jerry Jones
[27:47] Speaker 1: as a potential trade target. Jerry Jones saying like, hey,
[27:51] Speaker 1: we didn't give up on the Max Crosby trade. We
[27:53] Speaker 1: just didn't get him. Now he's here at Radios team.
[27:57] Speaker 10: It's a blessing.
[27:58] Speaker 2: Man.
[27:58] Speaker 10: I love this game, and you know I heard all
[28:00] Speaker 10: the noise and all those things, but you know everyone knows,
[28:03] Speaker 10: like my backs against the wall, that's that's when I'm
[28:05] Speaker 10: at my best. I love the pressure. That's what I
[28:07] Speaker 10: live and thrive on. So it just added ated points
[28:10] Speaker 10: and gives me a little bit more reason to go
[28:11] Speaker 10: out there and we'll pass.
[28:13] Speaker 6: Here's where I would appreciate more specificity. I would really
[28:17] Speaker 6: like to know what it was that he was tracking, truly,
[28:20] Speaker 6: I'm not being glib here, Like, I really want to
[28:23] Speaker 6: know what was it that bothered you that. I always
[28:26] Speaker 6: want to know that when when players say I heard
[28:28] Speaker 6: the noise, I don't want them to necessarily like, you know,
[28:31] Speaker 6: if they if it's an aggregation or a fake account
[28:34] Speaker 6: or whatever. I don't want to try into those waters.
[28:36] Speaker 6: But in terms of like what was it that bothered you,
[28:39] Speaker 6: your actual knee injury that you have, or what Like
[28:43] Speaker 6: this team, I think we you know, I know on
[28:46] Speaker 6: this show we've talked about being a little bit higher
[28:48] Speaker 6: on them than maybe consensus, but we're only looking for
[28:51] Speaker 6: progress here, right, So that's what I'm just I'm just
[28:54] Speaker 6: curious about that.
[28:54] Speaker 3: I just want to know.
[28:55] Speaker 6: And I think that one of my most favorite things
[28:58] Speaker 6: to do is when elite players do take things and
[29:00] Speaker 6: internalize them and turn them into like wrecking people on
[29:02] Speaker 6: the field. So I'm looking forward to seeing Max Crosby
[29:05] Speaker 6: do that. I just here's the way I want more specificity.
[29:08] Speaker 4: Yeah, we just at least all from Alba Kamara didn't
[29:10] Speaker 4: even have to say it, oh, but he directed exactly.
[29:13] Speaker 1: He was like, he's part of chip Watch right now.
[29:15] Speaker 2: Mexican.
[29:16] Speaker 1: What do you think of not wearing a shirt for
[29:18] Speaker 1: your press conference? Wearing art tattoo?
[29:21] Speaker 5: Yeah?
[29:21] Speaker 4: I thought I examined Max Crosby's tattoos and I squared
[29:25] Speaker 4: that with what I heard Jerry Jones say earlier this week,
[29:28] Speaker 4: and it makes me feel like Max Crosby is a Dallas.
[29:30] Speaker 2: Cowboy, Like he has t X down there is he
[29:35] Speaker 2: got Texas there. You know, he's got Michael and Kobe
[29:39] Speaker 2: the Muhammad Ali thing.
[29:40] Speaker 1: Oh, I thought that was Klay Thompson for a second.
[29:42] Speaker 1: I was like, I have Klay Thompson. Yeah, you're right,
[29:45] Speaker 1: I think that's Kobe.
[29:45] Speaker 4: That would be wow, questions what a range.
[29:50] Speaker 1: I mean, honestly, as as iconic as Kobe is, if
[29:54] Speaker 1: you were a Warriors fan, uh you know, four time champion,
[29:58] Speaker 1: Klay Thompson wouldn't be that.
[30:00] Speaker 6: But he's probably remove with him fumbling Meg the Stallion
[30:03] Speaker 6: the way he did.
[30:04] Speaker 1: Hey, Wow, she's on top of pop culture.
[30:06] Speaker 3: Took a long PTO, but yeah, I just are you.
[30:10] Speaker 1: Doing with fellow kids that I mean see ages. It's
[30:13] Speaker 1: more of a how you are.
[30:15] Speaker 6: Don't don't even act like you've never just you know,
[30:18] Speaker 6: sort of observed, just like the way never clicked on
[30:21] Speaker 6: a video.
[30:22] Speaker 1: Oh, I've been tracking it. I'm a Megan fan, but
[30:24] Speaker 1: just it was somehow the way that you said it
[30:27] Speaker 1: that it just didn't feel right. Giovanni Manu is a
[30:33] Speaker 1: man I've tracked for a while who's a tackle on
[30:36] Speaker 1: the Lions, partly because they gave up multiple picks, I
[30:39] Speaker 1: think like multiple thirds to get them in a draft
[30:42] Speaker 1: where at that point Brad Holmes had done no wrong
[30:45] Speaker 1: and I remember at the time and Manu had like
[30:47] Speaker 1: barely played football. Wasn't either guy from Canada, And it's like, Wow,
[30:50] Speaker 1: they're really feeling themselves giving up multiple picks for this guy. Unfortunately,
[30:54] Speaker 1: his career has not gone that well. They haven't trusted
[30:56] Speaker 1: him to play at all, and now he's he suffered
[30:58] Speaker 1: an injury that's going to keep him ot at least
[31:00] Speaker 1: three months. They're already thin at that position and he
[31:04] Speaker 1: was going to be, you know, one of their tackles.
[31:06] Speaker 1: So that's unfortunate. Injury news also unfortunate. Chris brazl I
[31:09] Speaker 1: mentioned previously he could be out up to eight weeks
[31:12] Speaker 1: with this knee injury. There was a follow up report
[31:15] Speaker 1: about the reserve Panthers receiver was competing to be their
[31:18] Speaker 1: number three guy and as a deep threat for Bryce
[31:22] Speaker 1: Young that he is now going to be out for
[31:24] Speaker 1: the season. So that is really disappointing. Just every day
[31:27] Speaker 1: there's a new bad item of injury news for the Panthers,
[31:30] Speaker 1: and that update is unfortunate, But to your point earlier,
[31:34] Speaker 1: Patrick Glad, they're like taking care of him and thinking
[31:36] Speaker 1: long term. And then other good news in terms of injuries.
[31:39] Speaker 1: Chamar Stewart, the Bengals defensive lineman who had a grotesque
[31:46] Speaker 1: knee injury on the first day of training camp, literally
[31:49] Speaker 1: the first team rep of training camp, and it looked
[31:53] Speaker 1: like one of those that would knock you out for
[31:54] Speaker 1: the season, is going to be out for several weeks,
[31:56] Speaker 1: but it's a hyper extended knee and they do expect
[31:58] Speaker 1: him to return to the team, maybe even in time
[32:00] Speaker 1: for the season to start. So relatively good news, although
[32:03] Speaker 1: obviously not good when when you're getting injured at all.
[32:06] Speaker 1: Let's wrap the show here with Josh Allen talking about
[32:11] Speaker 1: those Nickel City uniforms. I believe they're calling him. He
[32:16] Speaker 1: he's heard, He's heard, y'all.
[32:18] Speaker 11: And stop hating on the jerseys, guys. I don't know
[32:21] Speaker 11: if you guys are hating.
[32:22] Speaker 1: I don't know.
[32:22] Speaker 2: I don't see anything.
[32:23] Speaker 11: But they're they're they're great. I honestly like speaking of
[32:29] Speaker 11: new right, it's a new look.
[32:31] Speaker 1: It is.
[32:32] Speaker 11: I understand that, but in we gotta we gotta be
[32:35] Speaker 11: new and these jerseys kind of are symbolic of that,
[32:40] Speaker 11: and I'm excited to wear them. I really We had
[32:42] Speaker 11: a lot of people that put in a lot of
[32:43] Speaker 11: a lot of hard work for these jerseys, and it
[32:47] Speaker 11: just it symbolizes a lot of newness and that I
[32:50] Speaker 11: am excited about.
[32:50] Speaker 1: Do you think he is being a good company man
[32:53] Speaker 1: or that is his That's how he feels, I.
[32:55] Speaker 4: Think specifically, and that's why he worded it about the
[32:59] Speaker 4: jerseys because the jerseys are easily defendable. The helmet has
[33:03] Speaker 4: significant problems. I'm not a fashion guy. The helmet is
[33:07] Speaker 4: uncomfortable and it kind of cheapens the whole Mmmm. It
[33:11] Speaker 4: looks like from the back it actually looks like a
[33:13] Speaker 4: Power Rangers helmet, which.
[33:17] Speaker 1: Is a look at something Nickel City.
[33:21] Speaker 6: Josh Allen Berner account confirmed. I don't see anything, though.
[33:26] Speaker 1: The look on his face, he really felt like and
[33:29] Speaker 1: I appreciate this about him. It's not like anyone told
[33:32] Speaker 1: him to be a good company man. And I'm sure
[33:35] Speaker 1: the idea of the newness, new stadium, new coach. Like,
[33:38] Speaker 1: there's a lot of negativity abround the bills for such
[33:41] Speaker 1: a successful team. They're in the good old days. Enjoy it,
[33:45] Speaker 1: Eric Roberts, if you can even you know, pay attention
[33:48] Speaker 1: as you're like running back and forth. Eric Roberts, by
[33:50] Speaker 1: the way, this.
[33:50] Speaker 3: Week, oh my god, I'm mesmeriz.
[33:52] Speaker 1: He's doing graphics, he's running over to the videos, he's
[33:55] Speaker 1: dropping sound of it. He's literally running around the studio.
[33:59] Speaker 1: Eric Roberts, MVP this week. Only this week though in
[34:03] Speaker 1: every next week. But well, we're just getting used to
[34:05] Speaker 1: this new world we're in and like training camp is starting,
[34:08] Speaker 1: so you've got even more to do. But there's a
[34:10] Speaker 1: lot of negativity, and I felt like, maybe that's more
[34:13] Speaker 1: what he's he's getting at, and I appreciate that. To me,
[34:15] Speaker 1: that is leadership. I appreciate that.
[34:18] Speaker 12: Stop with you got a Ferrari in the garage. Why
[34:21] Speaker 12: are we painting at these colors? It's all white uniform
[34:23] Speaker 12: the Rivalry ones last year. Yeah, the Nickel City. Gray
[34:27] Speaker 12: put it in red. What are we doing? He's gonna
[34:30] Speaker 12: be on national TV to be you in this new
[34:32] Speaker 12: Haimark Stadium the second week of the stadium.
[34:34] Speaker 1: Why are we going to be I mean, I don't know.
[34:35] Speaker 1: They're not going to throw them in red. We got red?
[34:40] Speaker 1: What are we doing? The fans want red there. They're
[34:42] Speaker 1: regular uniforms. You're right, are amazing. Their throwbacks are amazing.
[34:46] Speaker 1: So stop stop it with this stuff.
[34:47] Speaker 3: Can you make that sound one more time?
[34:50] Speaker 1: Yeah?
[34:50] Speaker 12: That's the Jordan texted me like I need a take
[34:53] Speaker 12: on the new jerseys and I sent the bar form moji.
[34:54] Speaker 12: That's the sound associated with the emoji I sent you, Jordan.
[34:58] Speaker 12: Come on, that was a pair of Site Ferrari. You're
[35:01] Speaker 12: painting it poop. Gray Ferrari Graphics.
[35:04] Speaker 1: Editing sound drops in the video and the sound effects
[35:10] Speaker 1: guy and an on air talent, Eric Roberts. This was
[35:13] Speaker 1: a great week, although we're not quite done yet. Keep
[35:16] Speaker 1: an eye on then that's going to be dropping in
[35:19] Speaker 1: your feet a little later. But for the regular programming,
[35:22] Speaker 1: this was it this week. And yes, I think we're
[35:24] Speaker 1: gonna call this campus just just like the news. So
