[0:04] Speaker 1: Welcome to NFL Daily, where nothing can replace the greatness
[0:08] Speaker 1: that Nick Schook and I have achieved together. That's my
[0:11] Speaker 1: partner here on this Thursday, running through all the things
[0:15] Speaker 1: we've learned on a busy week of organized team activities.
[0:19] Speaker 1: I'm Greg Rosenthal. This is NFL Daily. I'm in my garage.
[0:22] Speaker 1: It's going to be our last news update of the week,
[0:25] Speaker 1: but we do have a big ranking show dropping on Friday.
[0:28] Speaker 1: Good to see they didn't call you for jury duty yet,
[0:31] Speaker 1: Nick Shook.
[0:32] Speaker 2: Yeah, still got two more days, but so far, so good.
[0:35] Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. I might have just been talking
[0:37] Speaker 1: to a wall today if you could make it. But
[0:40] Speaker 1: luckily I've got you to talk about. Yes, AJ brown
[0:44] Speaker 1: a little bit. We got some fun stuff in this show,
[0:46] Speaker 1: Little Jackson, Dart update, Lamar, a lot of weird Jim
[0:49] Speaker 1: Harbaughs sound. But we do start with Jalen Hurts and
[0:53] Speaker 1: the Eagles. I thought it was interesting the wording that
[0:57] Speaker 1: Jalen Hurts use to talk about his teammate AJ Browning.
[1:04] Speaker 1: How would affect the off? How that affects me?
[1:12] Speaker 3: Picked the writer question to sip on up. No, I
[1:16] Speaker 3: think for us, you know, we're focused on learning the offense.
[1:21] Speaker 3: It really doesn't change in terms of our approach to improve.
[1:24] Speaker 3: You know, there's a if obviously been lingering a lingering thing,
[1:30] Speaker 3: but you know, none can replace all the greatness that
[1:33] Speaker 3: we achieve together.
[1:34] Speaker 1: Definitely, speaking in the past sense, they're not a surprise,
[1:40] Speaker 1: but a J. Brown has not been there at OTA's
[1:43] Speaker 1: and just the fact that Jalen Hurts is addressing this
[1:46] Speaker 1: publicly in such a way, you know, makes it feel
[1:50] Speaker 1: a little more certain that than ever before. For what
[1:52] Speaker 1: it's worth in rapaport or we're going to get to
[1:54] Speaker 1: his reporting on the matter in just a second. Said, Hey,
[1:57] Speaker 1: they're they're good personally. I think from a football perspective,
[2:00] Speaker 1: maybe they're not so good there, but personally they're good.
[2:04] Speaker 4: That's always a tough distinction to make because in this
[2:07] Speaker 4: professional world of football, those two things bleed into each other,
[2:11] Speaker 4: especially in the regular season, and it really at this
[2:14] Speaker 4: point in the off season. You get your little break
[2:16] Speaker 4: in June, but then you come back and you know,
[2:18] Speaker 4: everything crosses over because that's your lives that you share together.
[2:21] Speaker 2: And I don't know if I agree with the whole footballer.
[2:25] Speaker 4: JJ Brown's a hell of a receiver, and I feel
[2:27] Speaker 4: like maybe it was on the Eagles to try to
[2:29] Speaker 4: figure out a way to maximize it, but they couldn't
[2:31] Speaker 4: figure out a way to get their offense going consistently
[2:33] Speaker 4: basically every other year over the last three or four years,
[2:35] Speaker 4: and I think that's probably priority number one, and not
[2:38] Speaker 4: having aj Brown part of the equation is it puts
[2:41] Speaker 4: them in the best position to move forward as a
[2:44] Speaker 4: cohesive unit as opposed to one that's constantly fighting the
[2:47] Speaker 4: drama of not getting him enough targets, which, hey, I'd
[2:50] Speaker 4: feed him the football.
[2:51] Speaker 1: But I understand here's the thing about what Jalen Hurd
[2:55] Speaker 1: said there, He's right. I mean AJ Brown never been
[2:59] Speaker 1: an All Pro receiver before he joined the Eagles. He
[3:02] Speaker 1: made the second team All Pro three straight years. He
[3:05] Speaker 1: had over fourteen hundred and fifty yards in the regular
[3:08] Speaker 1: seasons and back to back seasons with Jalen Hurts throwing
[3:11] Speaker 1: him the ball. Jalen Hurts is so good throwing the
[3:13] Speaker 1: ball down the field. Their marriage was incredible. I will
[3:15] Speaker 1: never forget the catch that AJ Brown had in the
[3:19] Speaker 1: Super Bowl that they lost against the Chiefs, and really
[3:21] Speaker 1: that performance in general in the playoffs and especially that game,
[3:25] Speaker 1: and then obviously huge factor for when they do win
[3:28] Speaker 1: the Super Bowl. So yeah, not everything can last forever.
[3:33] Speaker 1: The question is how long does a j Brown spot
[3:36] Speaker 1: on the roster last into the offseason. The idea is that, Okay,
[3:39] Speaker 1: June First hits, then there's less of a cap hit
[3:42] Speaker 1: when you trade him. Our friend Ian, who appeared with
[3:47] Speaker 1: Adam Schefter talk about breaking barriers here on mcafeel on
[3:52] Speaker 1: Primetime the other night It's a new world We're living in,
[3:55] Speaker 1: reported on our air NFL network that it might not
[3:59] Speaker 1: be so simple as a quick trade to the Patriots
[4:02] Speaker 1: as far as.
[4:02] Speaker 5: The actual trade though. You know, we're all waiting for
[4:06] Speaker 5: June first to happen. So the cap hit is in
[4:08] Speaker 5: half for the Philadelphia Egos and they could trade them.
[4:11] Speaker 5: I just don't know that it's going to be like
[4:12] Speaker 5: snap your fingers and the deal is done. Because the
[4:15] Speaker 5: two sides are where they have been, which is the
[4:17] Speaker 5: Eagles wanting a first round pick in twenty twenty seven,
[4:20] Speaker 5: Patriots the most likely destination. We'll see if someone else arises,
[4:23] Speaker 5: but Patriots the most likely destination. Not being willing to
[4:27] Speaker 5: give up a first round pick as of right now.
[4:30] Speaker 5: That means they're not particularly close. And yeah, there's a
[4:33] Speaker 5: chance this could drag on for the foreseeable future.
[4:37] Speaker 1: Zuck. You know I'm going to be leaving for Japan
[4:40] Speaker 1: at some point. You'll be filling in on some of
[4:41] Speaker 1: those shows. You're going to be writing articles. I'm sure
[4:44] Speaker 1: throughout the summer when you're around, this thing could continue.
[4:48] Speaker 1: It is interesting they're still playing it out in the
[4:50] Speaker 1: media of like the Patriots will not give up a
[4:52] Speaker 1: first round pick. It is still a little bit of
[4:54] Speaker 1: a staring match right now.
[4:56] Speaker 4: I like you subtly predicting how frustrated I'm going to
[4:58] Speaker 4: get with the AJ Brown storyline, but time we get
[5:00] Speaker 4: to July, because it's very true, it's going to drag on.
[5:02] Speaker 4: We're going to update inch by inch as it progresses.
[5:05] Speaker 4: But I also understand the current landscape between getting rid
[5:10] Speaker 4: of AJ Brown because you know you need to part
[5:11] Speaker 4: ways with them and actually maximizing your return on him.
[5:14] Speaker 4: And I think it's going to get interesting. I know
[5:16] Speaker 4: we talked about this on the show last week, that
[5:18] Speaker 4: another team. I think we'll get involved, and maybe it's
[5:21] Speaker 4: just a bidding more at that point, but I don't
[5:22] Speaker 4: think it's a simple you know, make a deal with
[5:24] Speaker 4: the Patriots as soon as we hit June. And I
[5:27] Speaker 4: think that's smarter than the part of Ali Roseman, who
[5:29] Speaker 4: always makes smart decisions, even when it comes with partying
[5:31] Speaker 4: with one of the in my opinion, one of the
[5:32] Speaker 4: better receivers in the NFL.
[5:34] Speaker 1: Yet, no reason why they can't kick it into training camp,
[5:36] Speaker 1: even it really could last that long, because then an
[5:39] Speaker 1: injury could pop up, and that's going to help their situation.
[5:41] Speaker 1: The Chiefs, did you know move money around in George
[5:44] Speaker 1: Gloftis's contract? Could that be opening up some room for
[5:47] Speaker 1: a j Brown? Probably not, because they have to do
[5:49] Speaker 1: more to make that happen. This was potentially just to
[5:52] Speaker 1: get their their rookie sign. They are very tight to
[5:55] Speaker 1: the cap. Jalen Hurts also had some new quotes on
[5:59] Speaker 1: the offense, and I thought it was interesting. He was
[6:02] Speaker 1: asked about the West Coast attack and he said, from
[6:05] Speaker 1: a past game standpoint, as things have evolved, we were
[6:07] Speaker 1: very one on one dependent. Now we're trying, you know,
[6:11] Speaker 1: just trying to find a matchup instead of full flow
[6:15] Speaker 1: West Coast reading the field offense like the way he
[6:20] Speaker 1: said that, because it does indicate a level of buy
[6:23] Speaker 1: in from Hurts.
[6:24] Speaker 4: What was our biggest criticism of Jalen Hurts over the
[6:27] Speaker 4: last couple of years it was that he often stood
[6:29] Speaker 4: in the pocket trying to find and wait for the
[6:31] Speaker 4: perfect throw instead of just taking what the defense gives him.
[6:34] Speaker 4: That is not the philosophy of the West Coast system.
[6:36] Speaker 4: The West Coast system is all about timing. It's pre
[6:38] Speaker 4: snap reads, it's getting the ball out and getting it
[6:41] Speaker 4: to the guy that's designed to be open.
[6:42] Speaker 2: It's a It really encourages me.
[6:43] Speaker 4: I think this can actually really opened up the Eagles
[6:45] Speaker 4: offense even without aj Brown in the mix, because it'll
[6:48] Speaker 4: capitalize on Hurt's accurate passing abilities, his ability to get
[6:51] Speaker 4: the ball out on time, instead of putting him in
[6:52] Speaker 4: a box where he's got to try to find the
[6:55] Speaker 4: perfect throw, which is his problem. Like that's not a
[6:57] Speaker 4: design of the offense, but that's often his problem, especially
[6:59] Speaker 4: when you're suck and one on ones as you're waiting
[7:01] Speaker 4: for one of those guys to get open. Instead, it's
[7:03] Speaker 4: all about the way that the whole pass is designed,
[7:06] Speaker 4: the way the patterns are designed. I think it's going
[7:08] Speaker 4: to maximize his abilities and maybe finally lift the Eagles
[7:10] Speaker 4: out of this rut that they've been stuck in pretty
[7:12] Speaker 4: much every other year. So I'm really excited to see
[7:14] Speaker 4: how this is all you know, put into motion here
[7:17] Speaker 4: in Philadelphia.
[7:18] Speaker 1: Deels like a test run, and if Hurts doesn't pass it,
[7:20] Speaker 1: who knows, he might be on a different team. I
[7:22] Speaker 1: think his biggest issue just hasn't been willing or able
[7:25] Speaker 1: to run nearly as much. Just hasn't especially last year.
[7:28] Speaker 1: Was just not an asset in terms.
[7:29] Speaker 6: Of his life.
[7:30] Speaker 4: Well, he likes to float. He likes to float. He
[7:31] Speaker 4: doesn't like that should take off. He likes to float.
[7:33] Speaker 1: He's twenty seven years old, like he should not be
[7:36] Speaker 1: slowing down that much. If for whatever reason he got
[7:39] Speaker 1: hurt this year or just wasn't playing well, they got
[7:43] Speaker 1: two options behind him and just wanted to pass along that.
[7:46] Speaker 1: Andy Dalton and Tanner McKee are sharing the second team
[7:50] Speaker 1: reps there in Philadelphia, so a little bit of a
[7:52] Speaker 1: backup quarterback competition. More on one of those later on. First,
[7:56] Speaker 1: let's go to the Giants, same division. Jackson Dark addressed
[8:01] Speaker 1: the entire team, according to Mike Garafolo on our show
[8:05] Speaker 1: The Insiders on NFL Network, that he wanted to really
[8:10] Speaker 1: clear the air after his introduction of President Donald Trump
[8:15] Speaker 1: over the weekend, got a lot of attention, and then
[8:18] Speaker 1: Abdul Carter came at him on Twitter then said it
[8:20] Speaker 1: was all fine. According to our insiders, multiple Giants leaders
[8:25] Speaker 1: did speak at this. One of the big takeaways was
[8:29] Speaker 1: handle this stuff privately, not publicly. Well, it still got
[8:33] Speaker 1: out publicly, but it does feel like, okay, they handled
[8:37] Speaker 1: it as men and we're moving on.
[8:41] Speaker 4: It's so John Harbaugh of them, by the way, to
[8:44] Speaker 4: handle it internally and not let those things bleed out
[8:46] Speaker 4: into the public. So if Giants fans are looking for
[8:49] Speaker 4: any sliver of positivity to come from this whole, I
[8:53] Speaker 4: don't even know what you call this spectacle whatever this
[8:55] Speaker 4: is incident. It's the fact that the Giants aren't the dysfunctional,
[9:00] Speaker 4: messy let everything leak out of the public organization that
[9:02] Speaker 4: they've been over the last few years, at least so far.
[9:05] Speaker 1: Okay, that's a fair it's a fair comeback that they
[9:08] Speaker 1: did handle what was I believe a very minor issue
[9:11] Speaker 1: that was never gonna be an issue. But good on
[9:14] Speaker 1: the good little test to address it, little test run.
[9:16] Speaker 1: Lamar Jackson is back at ravens OTAs. We mentioned that
[9:21] Speaker 1: with Patrick on Wednesday's show, he was asked about his
[9:27] Speaker 1: lingering contract situation. So he's gonna be a free agent
[9:29] Speaker 1: about a year and a half because of the way
[9:31] Speaker 1: they moved around his restructure this offseason. He has doue
[9:35] Speaker 1: something like seventy five eighty five million dollars in terms
[9:37] Speaker 1: of a cap number next year. That sounds untenable for
[9:41] Speaker 1: the Ravens. So it's a good leverage position for Lamar
[9:45] Speaker 1: Jackson's representative, who happens to be Lamar Jackson doesn't have
[9:50] Speaker 1: an agent. Let's hear from Lamar in front of the media.
[9:53] Speaker 7: I was thinking about how I was gonna respond in
[9:54] Speaker 7: this question if I got it. But you know, I'm
[9:58] Speaker 7: gonna give you the same. That's always good now, But
[10:01] Speaker 7: now I just want to keep them those conversations. Probably
[10:03] Speaker 7: you know, we you know, we restructured the deal and
[10:08] Speaker 7: that's what we have right now.
[10:09] Speaker 8: So is there a chance that you could play out
[10:11] Speaker 8: this season and just dead on yourself and not sign
[10:13] Speaker 8: a contract.
[10:15] Speaker 7: We got the reconstruction doing like I said, Jerry, We're
[10:18] Speaker 7: just gonna go from there though.
[10:21] Speaker 9: I mean, because it's now twenty some months until possibly
[10:24] Speaker 9: be a free agent, and.
[10:26] Speaker 7: You're trying to ask the question differently than Jerry just
[10:28] Speaker 7: a yeah, but I'm gonna be the same master.
[10:32] Speaker 1: I have a little different us.
[10:33] Speaker 8: All right, go ahead, you're.
[10:33] Speaker 1: Still envision yourself long term here with the Ravens. Absolutely.
[10:37] Speaker 10: I love the Ravens.
[10:38] Speaker 1: I love this organization.
[10:39] Speaker 7: I love the city.
[10:40] Speaker 1: My first takeaway is like all of us kind of
[10:44] Speaker 1: stuck up on me. Lamar Jackson no longer like a rookie,
[10:47] Speaker 1: just aging a little bit, just looks like, yeah, he's
[10:50] Speaker 1: been about to be entering his thirties. He's looking more
[10:52] Speaker 1: like a like a real adult man. He was a
[10:56] Speaker 1: he was an adult at twenty three. But yeah, it's
[10:57] Speaker 1: a little different when you hear.
[10:58] Speaker 4: It, looking more like an adult handling complex situations that
[11:02] Speaker 4: you know, often come with contracts like an adult, you know,
[11:05] Speaker 4: knowing how to handle the questions that come being you know, forthright,
[11:09] Speaker 4: but without you know, causing any controversy. Good on Lamar
[11:13] Speaker 4: in all these areas, and good on him as somebody
[11:15] Speaker 4: who has experienced negotiating contracts for himself. Now that he
[11:18] Speaker 4: knows how this process is handled, and instead of him
[11:20] Speaker 4: just deferring to his agent, he gets to be his
[11:22] Speaker 4: own agent and you know, keep some things close to
[11:24] Speaker 4: the best. However, I have one complaint and those of
[11:26] Speaker 4: you watching on YouTube probably saw. I thought that the
[11:29] Speaker 4: end of the Harriball era would mean the end of
[11:31] Speaker 4: the gaudy, awful patches on the practice jerseys. With all
[11:34] Speaker 4: your awards. Lamar has a billion of them. It's it's
[11:36] Speaker 4: bigger than a Jersey Patch ad. Now, like we can
[11:40] Speaker 4: we cut that out already?
[11:41] Speaker 1: Okay, that is an absolutely fair criticism, and I think
[11:45] Speaker 1: it's tricky with Labar as his own agent. But he
[11:48] Speaker 1: did reveal one thing which he said, we are going
[11:51] Speaker 1: to leave the guaranteed contract requests in the past. Someone
[11:56] Speaker 1: asked him, are you going to ask for a fully
[11:57] Speaker 1: guaranteed contract, which is what he was looking for back
[11:59] Speaker 1: in twenty twenty two. Didn't get it? He said, no,
[12:02] Speaker 1: that was twenty twenty two. Why are we talking about that.
[12:05] Speaker 1: That's not what we're going to do. So appreciate Lamar
[12:08] Speaker 1: big season for him coming off a down year. Jim
[12:11] Speaker 1: Harbaugh has so many good quotes, we can only use
[12:15] Speaker 1: a couple of them. I could just listen to Jim
[12:18] Speaker 1: Harbaugh talk all day. Let's hear about his conversation involving
[12:26] Speaker 1: his offensive coordinator in his quarterback. Yes, Justin Herbert is
[12:29] Speaker 1: back at OTA's. One of the quotes we're not using
[12:33] Speaker 1: was him being asked about Herbert missing practice and he said,
[12:40] Speaker 1: you know, Herbert said he wanted to go support Madison.
[12:42] Speaker 1: He's on a first name basis apparently with Madison Beer,
[12:44] Speaker 1: who is the influencers slash pop star that I was
[12:49] Speaker 1: definitely familiar with. That Jim Harbaugh was definitely familiar with
[12:52] Speaker 1: before Justin Herbert started datium and said, look, Madison's going
[12:56] Speaker 1: to support him. We want him to support Madison. I
[12:58] Speaker 1: said he was going to be gone for a weeks.
[13:00] Speaker 1: He said that was good. Can I drive you to
[13:02] Speaker 1: the airport. This is a guy that you know, is
[13:03] Speaker 1: always playing through a broken hand. He thinks it's very
[13:06] Speaker 1: healthy for Herbert to take some time off. So how
[13:08] Speaker 1: about Jim Harbaugh being a modern coach, But he's not
[13:12] Speaker 1: so modern that he can't just geek out over the
[13:14] Speaker 1: two men that he gets to work with every day.
[13:16] Speaker 8: You know, the two of that, it's been better. It's
[13:18] Speaker 8: been a better I mean, mesh, whatever you call it.
[13:22] Speaker 8: Then I even thought it would be And you know,
[13:26] Speaker 8: I said they're both so smart a couple of times,
[13:29] Speaker 8: but I mean.
[13:30] Speaker 2: They are so smart.
[13:32] Speaker 8: How smart are they? Coach? Well, I wish I could
[13:35] Speaker 8: tell you, because I'm not smart enough to know how
[13:38] Speaker 8: smart they really are. It's just a it's been great.
[13:46] Speaker 1: I appreciate that. Here's the secret, though, Harbaught is smart
[13:52] Speaker 1: enough to know he's not smart enough to know how
[13:56] Speaker 1: smart they are, which is a level that most people
[13:59] Speaker 1: just don't don't even get to. They don't even realize
[14:01] Speaker 1: that they're they're not smart enough to understand how smart enough.
[14:05] Speaker 1: Like that shows a level of emotional intelligence and maturity
[14:10] Speaker 1: I think from Jim Jim.
[14:11] Speaker 4: Harba, I believe that's what we call peak self awareness.
[14:15] Speaker 4: Knowing when to get out of the way is a
[14:17] Speaker 4: great quality of great leaders. However, in that clip there,
[14:22] Speaker 4: he definitely started to say things and then realized I
[14:25] Speaker 4: have no way to get to the end of this track,
[14:27] Speaker 4: like I don't know where this sentence is ending, I
[14:30] Speaker 4: don't know what I'm trying to say, and just drifted
[14:32] Speaker 4: off and said, yeah, it's great.
[14:35] Speaker 1: Glad you pointed that out. We happen to have another clip,
[14:39] Speaker 1: which I can't really describe other than Eric labeled it
[14:44] Speaker 1: as sound awkward, like.
[14:48] Speaker 8: We always look at that, you know, they can't have
[14:50] Speaker 8: enough good players, and and and sentence and can't have
[15:03] Speaker 8: enough good players and can't have enough good players.
[15:09] Speaker 1: Appreciate it.
[15:12] Speaker 8: I know, I'm growing trying to learn.
[15:18] Speaker 2: Just trails off into nothing.
[15:21] Speaker 1: I think he's gotten some coaching, maybe actually from the
[15:23] Speaker 1: media that they never know when his sentences end, that
[15:27] Speaker 1: they just keep going on and on. It's a tough
[15:30] Speaker 1: thing to learn as someone that loves to talk. I
[15:33] Speaker 1: don't know if I fully learned this lesson.
[15:35] Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, yeah, if you listen to these shows,
[15:37] Speaker 4: you can hear me definitely struggling to figure out how
[15:40] Speaker 4: to tie a bow on things. But I mean, and
[15:42] Speaker 4: maybe he'll just start adopting the trendy phase period period.
[15:48] Speaker 1: Okay. It's especially tough when you're getting asked questions. I
[15:52] Speaker 1: don't think I'm like, I'm a decent podcast guest. That's different.
[15:58] Speaker 1: But in the rare instances I'm ever been asked questions,
[16:02] Speaker 1: like in an interview, it's tough. You do start rambling,
[16:05] Speaker 1: and then you immediately start thinking about your life as
[16:08] Speaker 1: a journalist, and you're like, no, you want the people
[16:10] Speaker 1: that are concise and say a great line or two
[16:14] Speaker 1: and then stop the answer that's not Jim Harbos, especially
[16:17] Speaker 1: when he's talking ball.
[16:19] Speaker 2: Now he's not really I don't know.
[16:21] Speaker 4: I mean, I get I understand because sometimes I'll say
[16:24] Speaker 4: something and then in an interview setting, then come all
[16:26] Speaker 4: the way back around and repeat what I said at
[16:28] Speaker 4: the beginning, to tie it all together, which is redundant
[16:30] Speaker 4: and is not concise, so we're all working on it,
[16:34] Speaker 4: and to.
[16:34] Speaker 1: Loop back to the original point. This is not a joke.
[16:39] Speaker 1: It took me about five years, four or five years.
[16:42] Speaker 1: I think of reading about football, covering football, doing it
[16:47] Speaker 1: on a day to day basis, and getting into like
[16:49] Speaker 1: everything I could to I think fully even understand how
[16:53] Speaker 1: much I didn't know, you know what I mean. And
[16:57] Speaker 1: I see people who spend their whole life in this industry,
[17:02] Speaker 1: prominent places, and I don't think they ever even get
[17:04] Speaker 1: to that point, to even really because they don't want to,
[17:07] Speaker 1: like accept how little they know, because they want to
[17:10] Speaker 1: be able to speak authoritatively on it, or just don't
[17:13] Speaker 1: like being in that position. It's like that, it is
[17:15] Speaker 1: a good lesson in life to learn, in the different
[17:18] Speaker 1: aspects of your life, how little you might know about
[17:20] Speaker 1: a particular subject.
[17:21] Speaker 4: It's fine as soon as you stop growing, you start dying, right,
[17:24] Speaker 4: so always try to improve.
[17:26] Speaker 1: I agree, good quote. Who's back on the field. I
[17:29] Speaker 1: could not transition as soon as you start dying. With
[17:34] Speaker 1: the return of Raseeon Slater and Joe All to the field,
[17:37] Speaker 1: both doing team drills, both coming off major injuries last year,
[17:42] Speaker 1: and I was just happy to see that so far
[17:45] Speaker 1: no restrictions on either of the tackles. Harbaught indicated that
[17:48] Speaker 1: they are on track to be fully ready for training camp.
[17:51] Speaker 1: Good news there. Let's go to Minnesota where we heard
[17:55] Speaker 1: from Kyler Murray and more importantly in my mind, JJ
[17:59] Speaker 1: McCarry for the first time this offseason talking about each other.
[18:05] Speaker 1: Here is JJ. Actually, we're gonna hear from both and
[18:09] Speaker 1: you can just kind of pick out the different ways
[18:12] Speaker 1: they answered similar questions.
[18:13] Speaker 6: It's been great. Obviously, I know he's a younger guy,
[18:16] Speaker 6: so any any way I can help him. Obviously, I
[18:18] Speaker 6: feel like, you know, I've played seven years now, going
[18:20] Speaker 6: on eight, so I'm considered veteran, even though I don't
[18:23] Speaker 6: see myself as that give him any knowledge that he needs. Again,
[18:26] Speaker 6: you know, we're both competitors, and I know you know
[18:30] Speaker 6: we both won was best of the teams to hearing
[18:34] Speaker 6: of course, of course, yeah, he's no, he's overly acceptive,
[18:36] Speaker 6: you know, and he's he's always communicating, asking questions stuff
[18:39] Speaker 6: like that. So it's been good.
[18:41] Speaker 10: It's just like two guys in a classroom, you know.
[18:44] Speaker 10: He sits on one side, I sit on the other side,
[18:46] Speaker 10: and it's a coach's responsibility to teach us and coach us.
[18:49] Speaker 9: So is there any awkwardness like between you two?
[18:53] Speaker 10: Awkwardness? You know, it's just like the same feeling you
[18:56] Speaker 10: know when you're in high school and there's another person
[18:59] Speaker 10: on the other side of the room. That's just kind
[19:00] Speaker 10: of how it is. So I wouldn't say there's any awkwardness.
[19:02] Speaker 1: That was Kyler Murray speaking first and JJ McCarthy next up.
[19:07] Speaker 1: JJ looks a little bulked up by the way. Any
[19:11] Speaker 1: takeaways from how the two quarterbacks kind of handled the
[19:14] Speaker 1: quarterback competition question.
[19:16] Speaker 4: I think you have one who is a pro and
[19:18] Speaker 4: knows how to not be one hundred percent honest and
[19:20] Speaker 4: just say what the media probably wants him to say
[19:22] Speaker 4: and handle it properly. And you have another one who
[19:24] Speaker 4: is not well versed in that and is not used
[19:25] Speaker 4: to having to battle for his starting job and has
[19:28] Speaker 4: a hard time hiding the fact that he's in an
[19:30] Speaker 4: unusual situation that's uncomfortable to him.
[19:34] Speaker 1: I read Alec Lewis from The Athletic and he thought
[19:38] Speaker 1: the differences between the two of them were quite notable
[19:42] Speaker 1: on the field, just how confident Murray was running the
[19:47] Speaker 1: offense and the types of plays that they were running,
[19:49] Speaker 1: and it was a lot of like, oh yeah, this
[19:51] Speaker 1: is how it should look big play down the field
[19:53] Speaker 1: to Jordan Addison, and I think the difference in terms
[19:58] Speaker 1: of maturity at the pro level you could see it
[20:01] Speaker 1: in those answers too, because McCarthy, I think was needlessly defensive.
[20:06] Speaker 1: If you watched his press conference in general, like he's
[20:09] Speaker 1: just not wanting to share too much after last year,
[20:12] Speaker 1: maybe he shared everything and he feels burnt by it.
[20:15] Speaker 1: And the truth of the answer is probably somewhere in
[20:17] Speaker 1: the middle. It's like, these two guys, they probably don't
[20:20] Speaker 1: have much of a relationship. I always find it funny
[20:22] Speaker 1: when brand new teammates are like, how's JJ bin Locker.
[20:25] Speaker 1: I mean, they've barely spent any time together. They're in
[20:27] Speaker 1: a classroom like it. But I'm sure they've been cordial
[20:30] Speaker 1: and it's fine, Like they don't really have a relationship
[20:32] Speaker 1: and suddenly they have to talk about it. But Kyler's
[20:34] Speaker 1: just like a normal guy about it, where JJ McCarthy
[20:36] Speaker 1: sounds like a very young guy who's dealing with a
[20:39] Speaker 1: difficult situation.
[20:40] Speaker 4: I just imagine if if somebody, if the Powers that
[20:43] Speaker 4: be brought in a competing host, and you were battling
[20:47] Speaker 4: for not only the main power chair, but also the
[20:50] Speaker 4: name on the show, the name on the door, how
[20:52] Speaker 4: would you answer. You'd answer it like a pro, whereas
[20:54] Speaker 4: somebody with less experience would be like, yeah, it's cool.
[21:01] Speaker 1: I want to share it. Let's it depends how much
[21:06] Speaker 1: I respected and enjoyed that other person. You know, I want,
[21:11] Speaker 1: you know, we need more Shook, more Clay Bond, more
[21:14] Speaker 1: Jordan every you know, let's let's elevate all of us more.
[21:17] Speaker 1: Ali like it's all happening, but I respect and love
[21:21] Speaker 1: all for you. Now, if you bring in someone that
[21:24] Speaker 1: it's new and you don't like totally like the vibe,
[21:26] Speaker 1: then it suddenly then it gets weird. Maybe then I
[21:28] Speaker 1: am giving a JJ answer.
[21:31] Speaker 2: Hopefully we never.
[21:34] Speaker 1: Kyler. Kyler gave the answer of a guy who knows
[21:36] Speaker 1: he's going to win the job. Let's go to the Jets,
[21:38] Speaker 1: who revealed on Thursday that Kenyan Sadik, their first round
[21:43] Speaker 1: pick at tight end, one of them is going undergoing
[21:47] Speaker 1: hernia surgery already happened. They expect them to be ready
[21:50] Speaker 1: for training camp. They said it's not anything they didn't
[21:53] Speaker 1: know when they drafted him. I'm not sure I totally
[21:56] Speaker 1: believe that. Not a great sign, but hopefully he is
[22:00] Speaker 1: back for training camp. So just something to watch there.
[22:03] Speaker 1: I have been numbering these points. It's very important to
[22:06] Speaker 1: number your points. That is now the ninth thing we
[22:09] Speaker 1: learned at training camp. The tenth is actually it's I'm
[22:13] Speaker 1: mashing a lot of things together. When it comes to
[22:14] Speaker 1: the Jets, that didn't feel like they all deserve their
[22:16] Speaker 1: own number number one. They signed young Way Coup this week. Great,
[22:20] Speaker 1: let's have a Young Way Koukide York battle. Kad York's
[22:23] Speaker 1: hurt right now. They also said they're having an open
[22:26] Speaker 1: competition at their backup quarterback spot Caid Club, Nick Bailey,
[22:31] Speaker 1: Zappi and Brady Cook, which is not inspiring and also
[22:37] Speaker 1: is the most quarterback y name trio possible. Just my wife, Emica,
[22:45] Speaker 1: you know, she's not a big football fan or wasn't
[22:47] Speaker 1: you know when I first met her and she's like,
[22:49] Speaker 1: why do quarterbacks always have these like quarterback y names?
[22:52] Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Like Trevor Lawrence is a
[22:54] Speaker 1: quarterback and he met and I would say Caid Club, Nick,
[22:57] Speaker 1: Brady Cook and maybe Bailey's that's just a wacky name,
[23:01] Speaker 1: you know what it is?
[23:02] Speaker 4: The frame is three to four syllables, like Caide Club
[23:05] Speaker 4: Nick right three, Trevor Lawrence for Bailey's Zappy four.
[23:10] Speaker 1: It's a lot of last names as first names too,
[23:12] Speaker 1: which is maybe just more of like a southern white thing,
[23:15] Speaker 1: which is also.
[23:16] Speaker 4: Yes, a lot of quarterbacks. Yes, that's also very accurate.
[23:19] Speaker 4: And then you get the leader Geno Smith three syllables
[23:22] Speaker 4: as well.
[23:23] Speaker 1: Oh there we go.
[23:23] Speaker 2: I'm into it. I'm into it.
[23:24] Speaker 4: But I do think that it's funny because it's a
[23:27] Speaker 4: it's an interesting examination of where teams land with backup quarterbacks.
[23:31] Speaker 2: We have three guys who occupy three different rules.
[23:33] Speaker 4: We know what Bailey Zappy is from his time with
[23:34] Speaker 4: the Patriots and also that weird stint with the Browns. Right,
[23:37] Speaker 4: you saw the peak and the potential of it, and
[23:39] Speaker 4: you kind of know who he is at this point
[23:41] Speaker 4: Brady Cook was you know, God bless his heart, he
[23:43] Speaker 4: was putting a bad situation last year and he was
[23:45] Speaker 4: largely awful. And then you have kid Club Nick the unknown,
[23:48] Speaker 4: the former you know, highly touted recruit coming out of college.
[23:51] Speaker 1: What do we have in him?
[23:52] Speaker 4: So there's some things to explore here, all with the
[23:55] Speaker 4: safety and security of knowing none of them have to
[23:57] Speaker 4: compete for the starting job, So why not let it
[23:59] Speaker 4: be an open competition and let the chips fall where
[24:00] Speaker 4: they met.
[24:01] Speaker 1: And Gino is nothing if not durable, but you're an
[24:05] Speaker 1: injury away from your season being over, not being competitive
[24:09] Speaker 1: on a week to week basis. I like the idea
[24:11] Speaker 1: of bringing in a Russell Wilson type figure, which there
[24:13] Speaker 1: was conversation about, and maybe that'll still happen, and that
[24:16] Speaker 1: the Russell Wilson type figure is number two, cap called
[24:19] Speaker 1: it is number three, and you probably don't need the
[24:22] Speaker 1: other two guys. You put one on the practice squad
[24:24] Speaker 1: or something like that. I didn't want to get past
[24:26] Speaker 1: the show without mentioning though, you're wearing a very special
[24:31] Speaker 1: hat today and there's a reason for that. Paris Campbell
[24:34] Speaker 1: has retired from the NFL, and what does that How
[24:38] Speaker 1: does your hat reflect.
[24:40] Speaker 4: That Paris Campbell I have known since he was in
[24:43] Speaker 4: eighth grade because we both went to the same high school,
[24:46] Speaker 4: Saint It's the same area, which is the hat that
[24:48] Speaker 4: I'm wearing. Most of you listening will know it as
[24:50] Speaker 4: Lebron's school and accurately so high atop a hill, and
[24:54] Speaker 4: Akron is where it resides.
[24:56] Speaker 2: And I wish Paris the best.
[24:58] Speaker 4: He's He's somebody that you know, I was leaving Saint
[25:02] Speaker 4: Vida go to college and he was coming in. He
[25:04] Speaker 4: and Dante Booker were the two big standout names in
[25:08] Speaker 4: that class. They won a couple of state titles. I
[25:09] Speaker 4: was proud to go watch them, you know, finish off
[25:12] Speaker 4: we had kind of started there back then, and then
[25:14] Speaker 4: catch the NFL and do everything that he's done since then.
[25:16] Speaker 4: You know, his career largely can be described as one
[25:18] Speaker 4: hampered by injuries. You know, he made the Super Bowl
[25:21] Speaker 4: with the Eagles. Was really happy to catch up with him,
[25:24] Speaker 4: you know, on an opening night at that time. It
[25:25] Speaker 4: was a very cool reunion of Akron individuals. You know,
[25:28] Speaker 4: it was nice to see him then, and I'm glad
[25:30] Speaker 4: that he's able to complete his career and walk away
[25:33] Speaker 4: on his own terms and enter the next phase of
[25:35] Speaker 4: his life. So congratulations on a successful career at Paris
[25:39] Speaker 4: and enjoy retirement whatever lies ahead.
[25:42] Speaker 1: Rare that you see an NFL player who was not
[25:45] Speaker 1: small six feet two oh eight. You know, he kind
[25:47] Speaker 1: of had a slender build. I thought, on the field,
[25:50] Speaker 1: look like, you know, a speed guy, but just looks
[25:52] Speaker 1: small next to Shook.
[25:55] Speaker 6: Well.
[25:56] Speaker 4: So he was a running back in high school and
[25:57] Speaker 4: then they realized he was getting too tall to play
[25:59] Speaker 4: running back college and urban Meyer moved into receiver and
[26:02] Speaker 4: the rest is history.
[26:03] Speaker 1: And I'm always thinking of our friend Chris Wesseling and
[26:06] Speaker 1: his takes, and I remember we were getting excited. He
[26:09] Speaker 1: really loved what Paris Campbell showed. It's funny what you
[26:12] Speaker 1: remember in the twenty nineteen Paris Campbell rookie preseason. So
[26:18] Speaker 1: going back, yeah, happy trails to Paris Campbell. Let's go
[26:21] Speaker 1: to Mike Vrabel, who was at the podium for his
[26:25] Speaker 1: first normal ish press conference of the offseason, mostly just
[26:30] Speaker 1: handling the OTAs and having some nuggets, like he called
[26:35] Speaker 1: Caleb Lomu one of their most coachable players that they've
[26:38] Speaker 1: ever had. He really likes Caleb Lomu, they're using him
[26:41] Speaker 1: at right and left tackle, but right tackle to start OTAs,
[26:45] Speaker 1: including with the first team sometimes with Morgan Moses. So
[26:48] Speaker 1: I think he's going to get a chance to play
[26:49] Speaker 1: right away. But interesting they're cross training him there. Christian
[26:53] Speaker 1: Gonzalez is not there. He is about due for a
[26:57] Speaker 1: new contract, so that just coulda be something to keep
[26:59] Speaker 1: it on if he decides to skip any mandatory work.
[27:02] Speaker 1: But not a big deal. A lot of people are
[27:04] Speaker 1: skipping voluntary work. And then Rabel was asked, you know
[27:08] Speaker 1: about his family, about everything that happened, he says, to
[27:13] Speaker 1: quote him, I love Jen talking about his wife. I
[27:16] Speaker 1: love my sons. We're in a good place. It's been
[27:18] Speaker 1: a good work life balance this off season. Here here
[27:22] Speaker 1: is him addressing a little more of what this offseason
[27:25] Speaker 1: has been like.
[27:27] Speaker 2: Having to miss football activities again for the rest of
[27:29] Speaker 2: the spring.
[27:29] Speaker 9: I mean, I can only tell you I'm gonna be
[27:31] Speaker 9: there today, Ben, and I can't tell you anything other
[27:33] Speaker 9: than I'm going to be out there today in full force.
[27:37] Speaker 9: And I mean that because you know, who knows what's
[27:41] Speaker 9: going to come up. I'm not even you know, anything
[27:43] Speaker 9: could happen, and so I'm going to focus on today,
[27:47] Speaker 9: but in the excitement that we've had and that we've
[27:49] Speaker 9: built so far, and the conditioning that we've tried to
[27:53] Speaker 9: incorporate into our practices and the weightlifting and all the
[27:55] Speaker 9: things that are critical.
[27:56] Speaker 1: Yeah, we're I think we're now three four weeks removed
[28:00] Speaker 1: from like the latest photo being dropped or the schedule
[28:03] Speaker 1: release when they're making fun of Rabel. At the the
[28:06] Speaker 1: story has calmed down. I think the plan here is
[28:08] Speaker 1: we're able to just go back to normal. We'll still
[28:10] Speaker 1: we'll see if it all stays normal, but I think
[28:12] Speaker 1: it's you know, moving forward. In terms of Mike Rabel,
[28:15] Speaker 1: I'd rather get your thoughts shook on one of the
[28:18] Speaker 1: more unfortunate questions and back and forth that I've seen
[28:22] Speaker 1: in a press conference setting in a while, did not
[28:24] Speaker 1: involve Mike Brabel and involved Drake may follow up, good question.
[28:28] Speaker 9: Are you figured with two.
[28:29] Speaker 7: Seas the way you're.
[28:30] Speaker 5: Supposed to say it's that's kind of like the hip thing,
[28:32] Speaker 5: But you figure with two seas?
[28:35] Speaker 2: Is that how it was supposed to be?
[28:37] Speaker 10: Or I think that's paused If that's anything.
[28:39] Speaker 2: I think that's a that's not the way to put it.
[28:41] Speaker 6: But uh, you better you feel conditioned as far as
[28:47] Speaker 6: another year of experience, just your body getting getting it.
[28:50] Speaker 5: Ready for this.
[28:53] Speaker 4: Sometimes it's best to leave the slang out of the
[28:56] Speaker 4: press conference. My friend, you could have just said, hey,
[28:59] Speaker 4: you put on it looks like you bulked up a
[29:01] Speaker 4: little bit.
[29:02] Speaker 2: Is that for durability? You didn't need to go with
[29:04] Speaker 2: the thick with two c's.
[29:06] Speaker 4: I mean you could have been You could have gone
[29:07] Speaker 4: as far as thicker than a bowl of oatmeal, Like,
[29:09] Speaker 4: we don't need any of that.
[29:11] Speaker 2: Just keep it straightforward.
[29:13] Speaker 1: Were thick? Just say oh, like, what's your workout routine?
[29:15] Speaker 8: Bit?
[29:16] Speaker 1: Or if you even go on to get slightly weird,
[29:18] Speaker 1: look like you've put on some muscle, Like what was
[29:20] Speaker 1: the thinking?
[29:21] Speaker 6: Uh?
[29:22] Speaker 1: Beyond that, I did get a second angle of that question.
[29:26] Speaker 1: Wanted to make sure it was what I thought, and
[29:29] Speaker 1: it was. It was like an older guy. I just figured.
[29:32] Speaker 1: I was like, who is asking this question?
[29:35] Speaker 2: Hell fellow you.
[29:37] Speaker 1: Also, you rarely see Drake may act like a twenty
[29:42] Speaker 1: three year old. He is twenty three year right, what
[29:45] Speaker 1: a what a career this kid is going to have?
[29:48] Speaker 1: But he actually kind of broke character. He's always so
[29:51] Speaker 1: serious and not giving the media anything. He just started
[29:55] Speaker 1: laughing and he was. His answer was just like that
[29:58] Speaker 1: that's a pause. She was like, I don't know if
[30:01] Speaker 1: that's youth. Just the way he dies, just like, that's
[30:03] Speaker 1: a pause. That was I thought the pause was like
[30:05] Speaker 1: in the twenty tens. I didn't know the pause was
[30:07] Speaker 1: still around, But we'll roll with it.
[30:09] Speaker 8: That is.
[30:10] Speaker 1: That is awesome, And Drake Bait does look a little
[30:13] Speaker 1: bigger if you just just look at the the throws
[30:17] Speaker 1: that he was making. Fun fun to see all these
[30:19] Speaker 1: teams out there in OTAs, including the guys that were
[30:22] Speaker 1: hurt late last year. Maybe I shouldn't be surprised with
[30:26] Speaker 1: injury recoveries anymore. But there is video of Daniel Jones
[30:30] Speaker 1: out at practice. There was video of Patrick Mahomes out
[30:34] Speaker 1: at practice with a brace on. Wasn't moving amazing, but
[30:37] Speaker 1: he was doing drops and moving. I thought that was interesing.
[30:40] Speaker 1: But the fact that Daniel Jones, only six months removed
[30:43] Speaker 1: from a torn achilles I saw out there kind of
[30:47] Speaker 1: taking reps. I mean, he's not taking team reps. He's
[30:49] Speaker 1: just standing there kind of throwing passes. But he's out
[30:52] Speaker 1: there six months removed from a torn achilles. Makes you
[30:58] Speaker 1: think maybe this cult's optimism that he could be ready
[31:02] Speaker 1: as early as week one is not that crazy when
[31:06] Speaker 1: you do the timeline.
[31:07] Speaker 4: Okay, So I don't like the idea of rushing the
[31:10] Speaker 4: guy back from any significant injury, just because the danger
[31:13] Speaker 4: that exists within that right and pinning your season's hopes
[31:17] Speaker 4: on that also is a treacherous Those are treacherous waters
[31:20] Speaker 4: to wade into.
[31:21] Speaker 2: I also don't really feel I want to know, like where,
[31:26] Speaker 2: how are we getting to the point where this is
[31:28] Speaker 2: even possible? Like this is an injury to the procedure.
[31:31] Speaker 1: I read all about it. Stephen Holder on ESPN dot
[31:34] Speaker 1: com wrote about it, and you know in the current
[31:39] Speaker 1: way that they do it. If then get past the
[31:41] Speaker 1: three month mark, the incision is not as big, the
[31:43] Speaker 1: inflammation is less, and they Okay, some doctors feel like, hey,
[31:47] Speaker 1: if Tatum can get back on the field of the
[31:49] Speaker 1: nine or ten months, quarterbacks aren't making those explosive side
[31:52] Speaker 1: to side movement as much. It's not as crazy for
[31:54] Speaker 1: a quarterback.
[31:55] Speaker 4: And Jason Tatum stands as the example of that you
[31:58] Speaker 4: can come back fully healthy and get it done, say
[32:01] Speaker 4: for Game seven against the Sixers. But look, I also
[32:05] Speaker 4: point to Kirk Cousins, who was much older when he
[32:06] Speaker 4: suffered his achilles injury. But he even admitted after his
[32:08] Speaker 4: first year in Atlanta that he didn't feel right. He
[32:10] Speaker 4: didn't really feel right until last year, and at that
[32:12] Speaker 4: point he'd already lost his job. So temporaryr optimism a
[32:15] Speaker 4: little bit. But it is nice to see him on
[32:17] Speaker 4: the field. Anybody likes We all like seeing a guy
[32:19] Speaker 4: on the field as opposed on the sideline in shorts
[32:20] Speaker 4: watching team practice.
[32:21] Speaker 1: We just do. It's great to see Jones. Spoke with
[32:24] Speaker 1: reporters on Wednesday. He said he absolutely expects to be
[32:28] Speaker 1: ready for week one, so you know, hold fire on
[32:31] Speaker 1: the Riley Leonard versus Anthony Richardson think pieces because they
[32:34] Speaker 1: are sharing first team reps in terms of the team drills. Richardson,
[32:38] Speaker 1: by the way, looks cut up like he's always been
[32:43] Speaker 1: an impressive you know looking but he looks like he
[32:46] Speaker 1: was like he got angry in the gym this off
[32:48] Speaker 1: and we'll see, maybe we'll see an exciting Anthony Richardson.
[32:51] Speaker 1: You bring up basketball before we say goodbye. Those were
[32:54] Speaker 1: thirteen things we learned from Otia's this week. We got
[32:58] Speaker 1: rankings to wrap up the week. No news you attended,
[33:02] Speaker 1: let's be honest, a local massacre with your basketball team
[33:07] Speaker 1: over the weekend. Oh, you're putting on sunglasses. And I
[33:11] Speaker 1: wasn't going to bring it up at all, but you
[33:12] Speaker 1: brought it up before the show, and you called the
[33:16] Speaker 1: New York Knickerbocker fans the most classless bunch of fans
[33:20] Speaker 1: you've ever seen.
[33:21] Speaker 4: Yeah, sunglasses to enter witness protection because my team did
[33:25] Speaker 4: get slaughtered, ran out of gas really in the second
[33:28] Speaker 4: half of Game three, and they were playing at two
[33:30] Speaker 4: different speeds. All the credit the world of the Knicks.
[33:33] Speaker 4: The Knicks did everything they should have done there on fire.
[33:36] Speaker 4: They earned that they were the better team in this series.
[33:37] Speaker 4: They earned their trip to the finals. This has nothing
[33:39] Speaker 4: to do with basketball. It has everything to do with
[33:40] Speaker 4: the fact that their fans don't know how to win
[33:42] Speaker 4: with class because they have any thing of substance in
[33:44] Speaker 4: fifty years. So I'm gonna take these off and just
[33:46] Speaker 4: own this. I can't tell you how many times. I'm
[33:49] Speaker 4: not somebody that gets into trash talking arguments or anything
[33:52] Speaker 4: like that, but I can't tell you how many times
[33:53] Speaker 4: I was confronted by Knicks fans after the game with
[33:56] Speaker 4: trash talk somebody telling me to go home. I turned,
[33:58] Speaker 4: I am home. I'm in Cleveland, this is where I live.
[34:00] Speaker 4: You go home, you're in my home. It got to
[34:02] Speaker 4: the point where after a while it's just like, oh
[34:04] Speaker 4: my god, you are so obnoxious. Please leave my city.
[34:07] Speaker 4: Get out of here. You're ruining the experience here. I
[34:11] Speaker 4: you know, good luck, good luck. But this is a
[34:13] Speaker 4: fan base that they have a reputation for a reason,
[34:16] Speaker 4: and I got a first hand experience abow low class
[34:19] Speaker 4: they were.
[34:19] Speaker 2: So hopefully if they win something to learn how to
[34:22] Speaker 2: win with some class.
[34:24] Speaker 6: Now.
[34:24] Speaker 1: I like to do a little trash talk. That's part
[34:26] Speaker 1: of the fun. If you're in an away stadium, Yeah,
[34:30] Speaker 1: just just enjoy it. There's no need to You.
[34:33] Speaker 4: Can talk a little bit of trash. I've done with
[34:34] Speaker 4: plenty of fans. But there's a level of respect that
[34:36] Speaker 4: the Knicks fans left at home.
[34:38] Speaker 2: So that's my issue with that.
[34:39] Speaker 1: How how about a Cleveland fan saying they haven't won
[34:42] Speaker 1: anything in so long?
[34:43] Speaker 4: A last championship was what fifty four years ago for
[34:46] Speaker 4: them or something like that.
[34:47] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, ten years ago.
[34:49] Speaker 1: Yeah you got yours because of a man from Saint Vincent.
[34:53] Speaker 1: Saint Mary's just like yourself, just like Paris Campbell. Let's
[34:56] Speaker 1: hit that music, Let's get out of here. Not the
[34:59] Speaker 1: last time you'll hear from us. This week, however, we
[35:02] Speaker 1: are continuing our NFL Daily thirty two series, so we're
[35:08] Speaker 1: going through I find this really fun, all the different positions,
[35:12] Speaker 1: kind of a snapshot where the NFL is at. We
[35:15] Speaker 1: will be back on Friday ranking the running backs top
[35:20] Speaker 1: thirty two. We'll see if a Cleveland Brown makes it.
[35:22] Speaker 2: I think one will
