Mineral SPF (Zinc Oxide / Titanium Dioxide) – Anti-inflammatory UV protection that won’t sting sensitive skin. NAFE-safe formulas – Products with No Denatured Alcohol, Fragrance, or Essential oils. Barrier-repairing hydrators – Glycerin, Hyaluronic Acid, Ceramides, and PDRN (salmon DNA). Gentle acids – Mandelic or Lactic Acid (milder AHAs) and Salicylic Acid (pore-clearing BHA). Multi-active "cocktail” serums – Stick to a maximum of 2 treatment serums per routine. What to Avoid: NAFE ingredients – Denatured alcohol, synthetic fragrances, and essential oils (major irritants). Open jars for active ingredients – Exposure to air and light quickly ruins Vitamin C and Retinol. Unencapsulated or unlisted retinol – High risk of barrier damage and flaking. Harsh Glycolic Acid – Can penetrate too quickly and trigger rebound pigmentation or melasma. Stripping cleansers – Anything that leaves skin “squeaky clean” disrupts your natural 5.5 pH Barrier. Layering 3+ serums – The skin cannot absorb actives past the second layer; extra steps waste Product. Topical collagen – The molecules are far too large to penetrate; it only sits on top as a surface Hydrator.
