[0:07] Speaker 1: From the Christian Research Institute and Charlotte, North Carolina. You're
[0:11] Speaker 1: listening to the Bible answer Man broadcast with Hank Hanagraph.
[0:15] Speaker 1: We're on the air because life and truth matter. The
[0:19] Speaker 1: mission of the Christian Research Institute is to equip believers
[0:22] Speaker 1: to answer life's essential questions soundly and persuasively, and to
[0:27] Speaker 1: give the reason for the hope that you have with
[0:30] Speaker 1: gentleness and respect. For more information, go online to equip
[0:35] Speaker 1: dot org. The following program was pre recorded and now
[0:40] Speaker 1: here's Bible answer Man host Hank Canagraph.
[0:43] Speaker 2: Thank very much, Randy. A lot of you're hanging on.
[0:45] Speaker 2: We'll go right to the phone calls. First up is
[0:49] Speaker 2: William listening on the web in California. Hi William, Hey Hank,
[0:53] Speaker 2: how you doing good?
[0:54] Speaker 1: Thank you?
[0:54] Speaker 3: How are you good? Thank you? Thank you very much
[0:56] Speaker 3: for taking my call. I appreciate it. Pleasure to know
[1:00] Speaker 3: your organization through my brother in law, who at one time,
[1:03] Speaker 3: Walter Martin, was a centery school teacher.
[1:05] Speaker 2: Wow.
[1:06] Speaker 3: So here's my dilemma listening over the years through your organization,
[1:11] Speaker 3: coming across the studies on the translations of the Bible,
[1:16] Speaker 3: and I'm going through that. I've learned the word for
[1:19] Speaker 3: word and thought for thought and the translations. But my
[1:23] Speaker 3: question is, in my day lemma is that my pastor
[1:25] Speaker 3: had used during the offering part of fellowship this Sunday
[1:30] Speaker 3: Eugene Peterson is the message Bible YEP, quoting Luke six
[1:34] Speaker 3: thirty eight. And when I heard that, I was highly disappointed.
[1:39] Speaker 3: It's bothered me so much that I teach Sunday school
[1:42] Speaker 3: there for the youngers. But I thought if this continued
[1:44] Speaker 3: on that I was going to remove myself from the
[1:48] Speaker 3: fellowship because of that, because I didn't want to get
[1:51] Speaker 3: involved with the Peterson translation. So I was kind of wondering,
[1:55] Speaker 3: what you're some wisdom on that.
[1:57] Speaker 2: Well, I think that there are asked to Peterson's translation
[2:02] Speaker 2: that are fine and even helpful, as long as you
[2:05] Speaker 2: recognize that, in reality, is not a translation in the
[2:10] Speaker 2: true sense of the word. What it is is a paraphrase.
[2:13] Speaker 2: And some of the paraphrase adds to the Word of
[2:16] Speaker 2: God aspects that are not in the Word of God,
[2:19] Speaker 2: and some of it is just plain confusing. For example,
[2:25] Speaker 2: I've got a copy of it in front of me
[2:26] Speaker 2: right now, and I'm turning to John chapter three, where
[2:31] Speaker 2: Peterson has Jesus saying you're not listening. Let me say
[2:34] Speaker 2: it again. Unless a person submits to this original creation,
[2:39] Speaker 2: the wind hovering over the water, creation, the invisible moving,
[2:44] Speaker 2: the visible, baptism into a new life, it's not possible
[2:48] Speaker 2: to enter God's kingdom. Well, what does the text actually say.
[2:52] Speaker 2: It says unless a person is born of water in
[2:56] Speaker 2: the spirit. So you have this convolution addition to the
[3:02] Speaker 2: biblical text, which means that he has basically written his
[3:07] Speaker 2: own words into the text, and the words have little
[3:11] Speaker 2: to do with the original context or the actual meaning
[3:16] Speaker 2: of the text. So again it's a paraphrase, but it's
[3:20] Speaker 2: adding a lot of words that have little to do
[3:24] Speaker 2: with what the original language says, being now translated into
[3:29] Speaker 2: the receptor language. If you go to John fourteen, I've
[3:32] Speaker 2: just turned to that as well, where he has the translation.
[3:36] Speaker 2: You've heard me tell you I'm going away, I'm coming back.
[3:39] Speaker 2: If you love me, you would be glad that I'm
[3:42] Speaker 2: on my way to the Father, because the Father is
[3:44] Speaker 2: the goal and purpose of my life. The question that
[3:48] Speaker 2: you have to ask, is that really what the text says.
[3:52] Speaker 2: The text actually says the Father is greater than I.
[3:56] Speaker 2: So Jesus speaking from the perspective of his humanity is
[3:59] Speaker 2: talking about the Father. He completely rewords that. And I
[4:03] Speaker 2: think that also you have the message squeezed in the
[4:06] Speaker 2: New Testament of the mold of today's politically correct culture.
[4:10] Speaker 2: So don't correct or rebuke God is love, Hell is
[4:14] Speaker 2: a myth, don't mention homosexuality. And in that regard, look
[4:18] Speaker 2: at first Corinthian six where Peterson refrains from mentioning homosexuality.
[4:25] Speaker 2: But that is what you find in the actual Greek
[4:28] Speaker 2: and instead what he does is he corrects those who
[4:31] Speaker 2: use and abuse each other use and abuse sex. And
[4:35] Speaker 2: a homosexual wouldn't have any problem with Peterson's text, and
[4:37] Speaker 2: that they do not consider sodomy an abuse of sex.
[4:41] Speaker 2: In their view, it's simply an alternative lifestyle. So again
[4:45] Speaker 2: the problem with the message, you have to read it
[4:47] Speaker 2: critically because there's a lot of adding to the text.
[4:50] Speaker 2: There's also subtracting from the text, and it certainly goes
[4:55] Speaker 2: beyond the range of meaning that is acceptable and going
[4:59] Speaker 2: from the original language to a receptor language. We've written
[5:03] Speaker 2: about this in various forums available on the web at
[5:07] Speaker 2: equipped dot org. Let's go back to the phone lines.
[5:08] Speaker 2: Talk to Steve in Utah Hi Steve.
[5:12] Speaker 4: Hey, Hank, think.
[5:14] Speaker 3: Of taking my call.
[5:15] Speaker 4: I really appreciate the ministry listening for many years.
[5:19] Speaker 2: Thank you, Hank.
[5:20] Speaker 4: I'm calling a friend of mine who is ex Morman,
[5:26] Speaker 4: who is probably listening right now. I'm just going home
[5:29] Speaker 4: from work. Regarding your position on Abraham's bosom, what does
[5:34] Speaker 4: that represent?
[5:35] Speaker 2: Well, Abraham's bosom is equivalent to paradise. It is a
[5:39] Speaker 2: way of speaking about being in the presence of God.
[5:44] Speaker 2: And so you see Jesus using that exact language in
[5:48] Speaker 2: Luke chapter sixteen, where Jesus talks about a beggar who
[5:53] Speaker 2: dies and is transported to Abraham's bosom or to paradise again,
[6:00] Speaker 2: way of talking about being in bliss in the presence
[6:04] Speaker 2: of God. And that's contrasted with a rich man who
[6:08] Speaker 2: dies and is in torment.
[6:10] Speaker 4: Amen. Amen, Okay. So it's not actually.
[6:14] Speaker 2: Heaven, Well, it's certainly a foretaste of heaven. And there's
[6:20] Speaker 2: a sense in which you can rightly say it is
[6:22] Speaker 2: heaven as well, because heaven is a person, and heaven
[6:27] Speaker 2: one day will be a place. Think about it this way.
[6:32] Speaker 2: We are body soul unities, so we have a physical
[6:36] Speaker 2: and a metaphysical aspect to our humanity at death, the
[6:39] Speaker 2: physical aspect of our humanity is buried. The non physical
[6:43] Speaker 2: aspect of our humanity is in the presence of the Lord.
[6:47] Speaker 2: Now that's a relational concept, not a locational concept, because
[6:52] Speaker 2: spirits don't have awareness. They have awareness, but not awareness.
[6:57] Speaker 2: They don't have extension in space. It will be a time, however,
[7:01] Speaker 2: when Jesus returns with a loud command, with the voice
[7:03] Speaker 2: of the archangel, with the trumpet call of God, and
[7:06] Speaker 2: the dead in Christ will rise. And what happens at
[7:09] Speaker 2: that point is the soul returns to the body, and
[7:13] Speaker 2: then we will live in a restored universe. The Earth,
[7:17] Speaker 2: now groaning and travail awaiting its liberation from bondage to decay,
[7:22] Speaker 2: will be a physically restored universe. And in that sense,
[7:26] Speaker 2: then Heaven will be a place as well as what
[7:30] Speaker 2: it now is. A person in terms of relationship and fellowship.
[7:35] Speaker 4: Okay, okay, I really appreciate that.
[7:38] Speaker 3: Henk, you got it.
[7:40] Speaker 2: Thank you, God bless you as well. Back to the
[7:41] Speaker 2: phone lines. Danny is next. He's listening on the web
[7:45] Speaker 2: in Modesta, California. Hi Danny, Hi.
[7:48] Speaker 5: Hank, how are you doing good? My question comes from
[7:52] Speaker 5: John chapter three. Actually the First Caller kind of alluded
[7:57] Speaker 5: to it with Eugene Peterson's The Message.
[8:00] Speaker 3: Yes.
[8:00] Speaker 2: Yes.
[8:01] Speaker 5: In John chapter three, in verse five, where Jesus is
[8:04] Speaker 5: explaining to Nicodemus that you must be born of water
[8:08] Speaker 5: and of spirit to be born again, I'm just kind
[8:12] Speaker 5: of curious what exactly does Jesus mean by that.
[8:17] Speaker 2: Well, it seems to me in context that water in
[8:20] Speaker 2: spirit must refer to twin notions. Twin notions in the
[8:26] Speaker 2: sense of the visible identification with Jesus Christ and his
[8:32] Speaker 2: Kingdom through baptism in water and our new life in Christ,
[8:38] Speaker 2: which is manifested through baptism in the spirit. That, of course,
[8:43] Speaker 2: is when our temple becomes the Temple of the Holy Spirit.
[8:47] Speaker 2: So spirit baptism and water baptism go hand in hand.
[8:52] Speaker 2: And you see this conjoined if you go to acts
[8:55] Speaker 2: where water baptism and spirit baptism are brought together in
[9:01] Speaker 2: the same context.
[9:03] Speaker 5: Okay, and just another quick question. My Bible has a
[9:07] Speaker 5: little note that kind of takes you back to the
[9:10] Speaker 5: Old Testament in Ezekiel. Yeah, does it point back to
[9:14] Speaker 5: the Old Testament at all when he references water or
[9:18] Speaker 5: is it just kind of taking the two together in context.
[9:22] Speaker 2: Well, I think that's a really good point actually, because
[9:25] Speaker 2: there's a symbolic inward cleansing which comes from the Holy Spirit,
[9:30] Speaker 2: and then that way the language has similarity to the
[9:34] Speaker 2: language used by Ezekiel when he said I will sprinkle
[9:38] Speaker 2: clean water upon you, and you will be clean. A
[9:42] Speaker 2: new spirit I will put within you. So I think
[9:45] Speaker 2: that makes the same point that I was just making.
[9:48] Speaker 5: Right, Okay, Well that was all I had. Thank you
[9:52] Speaker 5: so much.
[9:52] Speaker 2: Hey, you got it. Thank you so much for your call.
[9:54] Speaker 2: I want to go back to the phone lines now.
[9:55] Speaker 2: Talk to Eddie Nashville, Tennessee.
[9:58] Speaker 6: Hi Eddie, Hi, how are you doing?
[10:01] Speaker 2: Hek I'm doing well. Thank you.
[10:03] Speaker 6: My question is, since there was a physical resurrection, where
[10:08] Speaker 6: in terms of what heaven is, is the physical body
[10:11] Speaker 6: of Jesus or does that question even have meaning?
[10:15] Speaker 2: Well, remember that when we talk about Christ descending into
[10:19] Speaker 2: heaven physically, we're talking about him transcending time and space,
[10:26] Speaker 2: and as the God Man, he can transcend time and space.
[10:31] Speaker 2: In fact, I think it's interesting that if we look
[10:35] Speaker 2: at this in the wrong way, we end up with
[10:38] Speaker 2: an absurdity. Jesus Christ would not even be out of
[10:42] Speaker 2: our universe now and must surely be struggling with oxygen deprivation,
[10:48] Speaker 2: even if he's ascending at the speed of light. So
[10:50] Speaker 2: the problem with taking this in any other way, I think,
[10:54] Speaker 2: is that we will end up with some kind of absurdity.
[10:58] Speaker 2: We'll be back in just a moment with more of
[10:59] Speaker 2: your questions right here. Other piplacement broadcast.

[15:10] Speaker 2: Let's go right back to our phone callers. Next up
[15:12] Speaker 2: is Ian listening on the web in Saint George Utah.
[15:15] Speaker 7: Hi, Ian, Hey, how you doing?
[15:17] Speaker 2: Hank you good?
[15:18] Speaker 8: Thanks grank God for CRI. I actually I was saved
[15:21] Speaker 8: out of Mormonism at the age of twelve by listening
[15:24] Speaker 8: to doctor Walter Martin mays of Mormonism.
[15:27] Speaker 2: Wow.
[15:29] Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, and my you know, hear to the ministry
[15:33] Speaker 8: ever since. Oh wow, and you use many of the
[15:36] Speaker 8: resources there. Actually, I've run into a little problem here
[15:42] Speaker 8: that's a little bit above my pay grade, and I'm
[15:43] Speaker 8: hoping you could help me out. Okay, then, Isaiah chapter forty,
[15:49] Speaker 8: verse twenty two, the Bible says Isaiah writes that God
[15:53] Speaker 8: sets above the circle of the earth. I've heard many
[15:56] Speaker 8: Christian apologists say that this word for circle really is spherical. Well,
[16:05] Speaker 8: I looked it up in the limited library that I have,
[16:08] Speaker 8: and it just says that it means vaulted or it
[16:11] Speaker 8: means the horizon or circle. And I've heard some pretty
[16:15] Speaker 8: popular apologists use this, and I've actually used it myself
[16:18] Speaker 8: on occasion, and I just wanted to check with Am
[16:20] Speaker 8: I wrong or they are they overspeaking? What's going on?
[16:25] Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a bad argument to use. The circle simply
[16:28] Speaker 2: reflects the curvature of the horizon, which anyone could see.
[16:32] Speaker 2: And I think we have to recognize that the language
[16:35] Speaker 2: is poetic. It's not intended to convey a particular architecture
[16:42] Speaker 2: or the universe such that we need to find some
[16:44] Speaker 2: kind of concordance between scripture and science. This has nothing
[16:50] Speaker 2: to do with the Earth being spherical. Isaiah is using
[16:55] Speaker 2: language that is common to the people of the ancient
[16:59] Speaker 2: Near East and conveying that Yahweh is sovereign over all
[17:04] Speaker 2: the Earth and over all the people of the Earth,
[17:06] Speaker 2: and that the universe is the temple of our Lord.
[17:10] Speaker 2: So this is poetic language, and unfortunately it's being misused.
[17:15] Speaker 2: It's being misused not only to say that the Bible
[17:18] Speaker 2: teaches the Earth is spherical, which of course the Earth
[17:21] Speaker 2: is spherical, but it is also used to say that
[17:25] Speaker 2: the Bible here teaches Big Bang cosmology. Now big Bang
[17:29] Speaker 2: cosmology may be correct, but the Bible is not pointing
[17:34] Speaker 2: to Big bang cosmology. When it says that he stretches
[17:39] Speaker 2: out the heavens, this is simply reading something of the
[17:42] Speaker 2: text that the author never intended to communicate. And I
[17:46] Speaker 2: think this is one of the great problems that we have.
[17:49] Speaker 2: It is that there are people who are trying to
[17:52] Speaker 2: find some kind of concord between the Science Manual and
[17:58] Speaker 2: the Biblical tech and what they're doing is they're stretching
[18:04] Speaker 2: the truth to make the harmony or to make the fit.
[18:08] Speaker 2: And I don't think in the end that helps anyone
[18:10] Speaker 2: because if people look at this critically, they immediately see
[18:14] Speaker 2: the problem. I mean, if you, for example, I'm turning
[18:17] Speaker 2: to it right now as we speak, and you might
[18:19] Speaker 2: want to do it as well. Look at Job chapter nine,
[18:23] Speaker 2: where the same language is used. He alone stretches out
[18:26] Speaker 2: the heavens. But if you look just a verse before that,
[18:29] Speaker 2: it says he shakes the earth from its place and
[18:32] Speaker 2: makes its pillars tremble. So are we to think that
[18:35] Speaker 2: the earth is established on pillars? Of course not. And
[18:39] Speaker 2: yet unfortunately, when you see the proof texting that goes on,
[18:43] Speaker 2: you'll see Job nine listed along with Isaiah forty to
[18:47] Speaker 2: try to make the point this is again a bad
[18:50] Speaker 2: way of reading scripture.
[18:51] Speaker 8: Okay, well, that clicks a lot up. I really appreciate
[18:54] Speaker 8: that you.
[18:55] Speaker 2: Got it one of my favorite passages. By the way,
[18:57] Speaker 2: I was just watching the movie Charts of Fire.
[18:59] Speaker 7: Again.
[19:00] Speaker 2: Time I watched that movie. It just moves me with emotion,
[19:02] Speaker 2: particularly when eric Lytel is standing in this church in
[19:05] Speaker 2: Scotland and he's preaching a message and he quotes from
[19:11] Speaker 2: Isaiah chapter forty, where the nations are like a drop
[19:15] Speaker 2: in the bucket, They're regarded as dust on the scales.
[19:19] Speaker 2: He weighs the islands as though they were fine dust
[19:23] Speaker 2: before him. All the nations are as nothing. They're regarded
[19:27] Speaker 2: by him as worthless and less than nothing. And the
[19:30] Speaker 2: context of this, what is so emotional for me, is
[19:33] Speaker 2: that eric Lytel is asked to do something that's against
[19:37] Speaker 2: his principle, and that is to run on the Sabbath
[19:41] Speaker 2: or on Sunday. And what happens is the Prince of Wales,
[19:45] Speaker 2: who's going to be king, is trying to convince him,
[19:49] Speaker 2: and eric Lytel is not going to be convinced. Now,
[19:52] Speaker 2: whether you agree with his principle or not, is not
[19:55] Speaker 2: the point. The point is he's a man of principle.
[19:58] Speaker 2: And what's unbelievable in that movie is he's not moved.
[20:03] Speaker 2: And this is a true story. He's not moved by
[20:07] Speaker 2: the power of nations because from Isaiah he understands that
[20:11] Speaker 2: they're like dust in the balance. And then you also
[20:15] Speaker 2: see him running and he says, when I run, I
[20:18] Speaker 2: sense his pleasure. And he says to his sister Jenny,
[20:22] Speaker 2: God made me fast. And so he wants to compete
[20:26] Speaker 2: in the Olympics. He ends up winning, but his real
[20:29] Speaker 2: goal is to be a missionary, and he dies and
[20:31] Speaker 2: occupied China. What a testimony. In contrast to Abraham's the
[20:37] Speaker 2: other guy in the movie, who's a main character who
[20:40] Speaker 2: also wins in the Olympics. He wins the starlet and
[20:44] Speaker 2: he wins the medal and he ends up being head
[20:48] Speaker 2: of the Athletic Commission and lives a great life. And
[20:51] Speaker 2: then contrasted to Eric Lydel, who gives his life for
[20:55] Speaker 2: that which really matters. And the contrast could not be starker.
[21:00] Speaker 2: And I'll tell you if someone hears me talk right now,
[21:02] Speaker 2: I haven't seen that movie. Watch it. It is a
[21:06] Speaker 2: wonderful movie that underscores the principles of the Kingdom and
[21:10] Speaker 2: the power of following the principles of God. Let's go
[21:14] Speaker 2: back to the phone lines. We'll talk next to Gail.
[21:17] Speaker 2: She's listening in Edmunds, Washington.
[21:19] Speaker 7: High Gail, Hi, thanks for taking my call. I am
[21:24] Speaker 7: curious to know about the Soso ministry, which evidently is
[21:29] Speaker 7: connected somehow to the Bethel Church in Reading, California.
[21:33] Speaker 2: Phil Johnson, Yes, yeah.
[21:37] Speaker 7: Is there anything that it sounds a little suspect to me?
[21:40] Speaker 7: And I know two people that have gotten involved in it,
[21:43] Speaker 7: and I'm just a little wary. Can you enlighten me
[21:46] Speaker 7: at all?
[21:47] Speaker 2: Yeah, it is a ministry that I don't recommend, In fact,
[21:53] Speaker 2: a ministry that I characterize his Counterfeit Revival. It is
[21:57] Speaker 2: very much in concert with what I have written about
[22:00] Speaker 2: out in Counterfeit Revival. It's a good example of people
[22:03] Speaker 2: looking for God in all the wrong places and all
[22:05] Speaker 2: the wrong ways. It's a return to signs and wonders
[22:09] Speaker 2: as a lifestyle. It's a walk in signs and wonders.
[22:12] Speaker 2: It's a restoration of apostles and prophets, but not in
[22:15] Speaker 2: a biblical sense. We have to remember in a biblical sense,
[22:20] Speaker 2: apostles and prophets formed the foundation of our faith in
[22:25] Speaker 2: that they are the ones who give us the Bible,
[22:29] Speaker 2: which is the infallible repository of redemptive revelation by which
[22:33] Speaker 2: we test all things, hold fast that which is good.
[22:37] Speaker 2: So this kind of a ministry that believes that healing
[22:40] Speaker 2: is guaranteed to all believers who ask in faith, and
[22:44] Speaker 2: that there are super apostles and prophets among us today
[22:49] Speaker 2: is not a ministry that corresponds to reality. And as
[22:53] Speaker 2: a result of that, you end up having all kinds
[22:56] Speaker 2: of false teachers at the school of ministry, like Todd
[22:59] Speaker 2: Bentley and Bob Jones, Rick Joyner, Rodney Howard Brown, Carol
[23:04] Speaker 2: or Not, and the list goes on and on. People
[23:07] Speaker 2: get continually confused. And I think the words of Jeremiah
[23:12] Speaker 2: here are appropriate. Do not listen to what the prophets
[23:14] Speaker 2: are prophesying to you. They fill you with false hopes.
[23:17] Speaker 2: They speak visions from their own minds, not from the
[23:21] Speaker 2: mouth of the Lord. And that warning Jeremiah twenty three
[23:26] Speaker 2: Versus twenty three, Yeah, sixteen through thirty two in particular
[23:30] Speaker 2: are appropriate.
[23:32] Speaker 7: Okay, if you were going to try to enlighten someone
[23:36] Speaker 7: that has gotten involved in this and caution them, how
[23:39] Speaker 7: would you go about doing that?
[23:40] Speaker 2: We wrote a book about it, and the reason I
[23:43] Speaker 2: wrote the book is because I wanted people to know
[23:45] Speaker 2: that this is a very dangerous place to be. So
[23:49] Speaker 2: I wrote a book called Counterfeit Revival and the subtitle
[23:52] Speaker 2: is looking for God in All the Wrong Places? Oh great,
[23:57] Speaker 2: And it is available through the ministry of the Christian
[23:59] Speaker 2: Research Institute.
[24:01] Speaker 7: Okay, so you would definitely say.
[24:03] Speaker 2: Stear clear, absolutely, do not pass go, do not collect
[24:07] Speaker 2: two hundred dollars.
[24:08] Speaker 7: Okay, all right, Well, I certainly appreciate that very much.
[24:12] Speaker 2: You got it. Thank you so much for your call.
[24:14] Speaker 2: And again, Counterfeit Revival is a book that I wrote
[24:18] Speaker 2: to warn people. And this is not a book that
[24:22] Speaker 2: comes about as a result of sitting in an ivory tower.
[24:26] Speaker 2: I went behind the scenes. I uncovered the contradictions, the
[24:31] Speaker 2: false experiences, the spiritual deception, the seductive allure of esoteric
[24:39] Speaker 2: experience masquerading under the banner of truth. And therefore my
[24:45] Speaker 2: book Counterfeit Revival, I draw you into the wildly popular
[24:50] Speaker 2: and bizarre world of contemporary revivalism as I document the
[24:57] Speaker 2: devastating impact on congregation and people worldwide. Counterfeit Revival provides
[25:05] Speaker 2: biblical remedies to counter a paradigm shift that threatens to
[25:10] Speaker 2: tear apart the very fabric of contemporary Christianity. And again,
[25:16] Speaker 2: I know what I'm talking about because I've done the
[25:20] Speaker 2: primary research myself, and so I've presented that in an
[25:25] Speaker 2: eminently readable, inherently memorable, and exhaustively documented evaluation of Devey's Revivalism.
[25:35] Speaker 2: The last part of the book is worth the price
[25:39] Speaker 2: of the book itself. What I do in the very
[25:42] Speaker 2: last section of the book is I talk about hypnotism,
[25:45] Speaker 2: and I talk in the vein that you can understand
[25:50] Speaker 2: and remember how social psychological manipulation tactics are used to
[25:56] Speaker 2: make people think they are encountering the divine when in
[26:00] Speaker 2: fact they're encountering a counterfeit. Counterfeit Revival is available to
[26:07] Speaker 2: the Ministry of the Christian Research Institute. One of the
