[0:07] Speaker 1: Heard all across the United States, Canada, and around the world.
[0:11] Speaker 1: This is the Bible answer Man broadcast with Hank Hanagraph.
[0:15] Speaker 1: Hank is president of the Christian Research Institute at CRII.
[0:19] Speaker 1: Our desire is to equip you to not only defend
[0:22] Speaker 1: the historic Christian faith, but become an apprentice of Jesus Christ,
[0:27] Speaker 1: because life and truth matter. To learn more or to
[0:31] Speaker 1: find resources to help you grow in grace, call eight
[0:34] Speaker 1: eight eight seven thousand CRII. That's eight eight eight seven
[0:39] Speaker 1: thousand two seven four, or go to our website at
[0:42] Speaker 1: equip dot org. The following program was pre recorded. Now
[0:48] Speaker 1: here's Hank Hanagraph.
[0:50] Speaker 2: Favvery much, Randy. Many people today believe that Jesus Christ
[0:54] Speaker 2: was a good teacher. The Bible, however, demonstrates that Jesus
[1:00] Speaker 2: Christ was God in human flesh. He is the superstar
[1:07] Speaker 2: of biblical prophecy. And I've been talking about this as
[1:11] Speaker 2: we promote a little resource that has a big punch.
[1:18] Speaker 2: Reason being, you can remember the information it's provided for
[1:24] Speaker 2: you in such a way that you can demonstrate that
[1:26] Speaker 2: only Jesus Christ could emerge through the doorway of biblical prophecy.
[1:33] Speaker 2: Over the last couple of days, I've talked about his
[1:35] Speaker 2: ancestry and his birthplace. His crucifixion, however, is noteworthy as well.
[1:44] Speaker 2: There's nothing new about crucifixion in general. In the sixth
[1:50] Speaker 2: century before Christ, the Persian Darius the first, crucified three
[1:56] Speaker 2: thousand political dissidents in Babylon. The fourth crucifixion was employed
[2:03] Speaker 2: by the Grecian Alexander the Great, and the second the
[2:09] Speaker 2: Grecosyrian beast Antiochus. The fourth Epiphanes, who crucified Jewish stalwarts
[2:18] Speaker 2: who simply refused to be Hellenized. While thousands have suffered
[2:26] Speaker 2: the horrors of crucifixion, Christ's crucifixion remains absolutely unique. He
[2:33] Speaker 2: suffered more than any human He suffered more than the
[2:38] Speaker 2: cumutive sufferings of all of humanity, for on the cross,
[2:43] Speaker 2: the infinite Christ bore the sin and suffering of finite humanity.
[2:51] Speaker 2: While few today doubt Christ's fatal torment on Calvary's Cross,
[2:58] Speaker 2: it is one of the most well established facts of
[3:01] Speaker 2: ancient history. It's conceded by friends and foes alike. There is, however,
[3:10] Speaker 2: fierce opposition to the notion that Christ's crucifixion was predicted
[3:16] Speaker 2: by the prophets venom found on the Internet is simply
[3:23] Speaker 2: mind boggling. The problem, of course, is that such naysayers
[3:29] Speaker 2: seem caught in the web of their own fundamentalism. They
[3:33] Speaker 2: may be vaguely aware of the power of direct predictive prophecies,
[3:38] Speaker 2: but remain blithely unaware of the explanatory power inherent in
[3:44] Speaker 2: typological prophecy. The composite picture of crucifixion presented in the
[3:50] Speaker 2: Old Testament is as graphic as it's gruesome. Isaiah foreshadows
[3:57] Speaker 2: the suffering and death of Christ as the aim in
[3:59] Speaker 2: the end of all the Old Testament sacrifices the enttetype
[4:05] Speaker 2: of the sin offering, the trespass offering, the passover lamb
[4:10] Speaker 2: itself silent before it cheers. Zachariah adds to the portrait,
[4:17] Speaker 2: they will look on me, the one they have pierced.
[4:20] Speaker 2: They will mourn for him as one mourns for an
[4:24] Speaker 2: only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves
[4:28] Speaker 2: for a firstborn son. Taking in isolation. The Old Testament
[4:33] Speaker 2: passages do little to convince the stiff necked in total, However,
[4:39] Speaker 2: they have the capacity of turning heads towards truth. John
[4:44] Speaker 2: testifies to this very truth, so that you also may
[4:48] Speaker 2: believe these things happened, so that scripture would be fulfilled.
[4:54] Speaker 2: Not one of his bones will be broken. Long before
[5:00] Speaker 2: crucifixion was invented by the Persians and popularized by the Romans,
[5:03] Speaker 2: the prophets portrayed a crucified Christ who died on a
[5:08] Speaker 2: cross so that the scriptures might be fulfilled and multitudes
[5:13] Speaker 2: may come to a knowledge of the truth, his ancestry,
[5:18] Speaker 2: his birthplace, his crucifixion, the date of his visitation, the
[5:23] Speaker 2: fact that he would be an extraordinary miracle worker, that
[5:27] Speaker 2: he would fulfill the law, and the prophets that he
[5:30] Speaker 2: would be a light to the gentiles. All of this
[5:35] Speaker 2: information presented in Jesus the Superstar of Biblical Prophecy in
[5:39] Speaker 2: a memorable format, so that you can assimilate, internalize the information,
[5:44] Speaker 2: and then use it to change your world, not by might,
[5:51] Speaker 2: not by power, but by His spirit. I am so
[5:54] Speaker 2: excited about this little booklet. Please send your gift today
[5:58] Speaker 2: to touch the lives of more men, women and children,
[6:02] Speaker 2: just as your life has been touched. And don't forget
[6:04] Speaker 2: to request your copy of Jesus the Superstar of Biblical Prophecy.

[6:15] Speaker 2: post office box eighty five hundred, Charlotte, North Carolina, zip
[6:18] Speaker 2: code two eight two seven one, and then, as always,
[6:23] Speaker 2: via the phone Resource Consultant standing by triple eight seven
[6:27] Speaker 2: thousand CRI. A lot of you hanging on. Let's go
[6:30] Speaker 2: right to the phone lines. First up as John listening
[6:32] Speaker 2: on the web, Atlanta, Georgia. Hi John, Hey.
[6:35] Speaker 3: Hank, thanks for doing the heavy lifting so we can
[6:37] Speaker 3: swoop in and get all your knowledge without having to
[6:40] Speaker 3: do the hard work that you've done over the past
[6:42] Speaker 3: what fifty years.
[6:43] Speaker 2: Well a lot of years.
[6:46] Speaker 3: Hey. I was watching this show the other night and
[6:49] Speaker 3: it was about the homosexual riots in New York in
[6:52] Speaker 3: nineteen seventy and this this lady said, you know, when
[6:56] Speaker 3: I knew that, I knew that something was wrong with me,
[7:00] Speaker 3: and when I kissed another woman, I knew that's it.
[7:04] Speaker 3: I've finally found out, you know, how to be happy.
[7:07] Speaker 3: So you know, I'm in Atlanta, I work around gay people,
[7:10] Speaker 3: I have gay people joining my church. I watched TV.
[7:14] Speaker 3: Every single show has one, you know, gay actor or
[7:17] Speaker 3: gay character. So I'm just wondering, Okay, how should the
[7:23] Speaker 3: modern Christian deal with the homosexual community. We see how
[7:26] Speaker 3: far things have gone since nineteen seventy. I'm just wondering,
[7:29] Speaker 3: all right, what should I tell my kids? How should
[7:32] Speaker 3: I act? Because the gay people I know have always
[7:35] Speaker 3: treated me nice. I've always been you know, good nice people.
[7:38] Speaker 2: Well, I think the point is always the same, whether
[7:41] Speaker 2: you are homosexual or heterosexual, whether you are a Jew
[7:46] Speaker 2: or a Muslim, whether you're a Garden variety pagan or
[7:49] Speaker 2: Jehovah's Witness or a Mormon, the point is always the same.
[7:53] Speaker 2: The Gospel is what liberates, the Gospel is what redeems,
[7:58] Speaker 2: and ultimately, the Gospel says this, we recognize that we
[8:02] Speaker 2: are sinners, whatever that sin proclivity is, we repent of
[8:07] Speaker 2: that sin, and we say God knows better. I'm going
[8:10] Speaker 2: to turn and do it his way rather than doing
[8:12] Speaker 2: it my own way, and then receive Jesus Christ as
[8:16] Speaker 2: savior and Lord of our life. And he begins to
[8:19] Speaker 2: clean up the dirt or the mess in the rooms
[8:24] Speaker 2: that are unkempt, which is to say, the one who
[8:27] Speaker 2: justifies us is also the one who sanctifies us. So
[8:31] Speaker 2: it's not as though we come to faith in Christ
[8:34] Speaker 2: then we have to stand outside the shower and get
[8:37] Speaker 2: scrubbed off. It is the shower itself that cleans us.
[8:41] Speaker 2: And in the metaphor, you have Christ who justifies us,
[8:44] Speaker 2: Christ who sanctifies us in Christ who one day will
[8:48] Speaker 2: glorify us. So, no matter what someone's proclivity is in
[8:53] Speaker 2: terms of sin, sexual or otherwise, the Gospel is that
[8:58] Speaker 2: which liberates and redeems. Now, as far as modern sensibilities
[9:03] Speaker 2: are concerned, there's nothing in the Bible that's outdated. We
[9:08] Speaker 2: can't say somehow or other that the Bible no longer
[9:12] Speaker 2: is tenable in an age of scientific enlightenment. In fact,
[9:16] Speaker 2: we might say exactly the opposite. The more evidence that
[9:21] Speaker 2: we have, the more we can be absolutely certain that
[9:26] Speaker 2: the Bible is rooted in history and evidence, that the
[9:30] Speaker 2: Bible is the infallible repository for redemptive revelation, that it's
[9:36] Speaker 2: everything necessary for faith and practice. So we still want
[9:41] Speaker 2: to communicate the message of the Gospel, rather than being
[9:46] Speaker 2: conformed by the culture. Because what are we called to
[9:49] Speaker 2: be as Christians. We're called to be change agents in
[9:53] Speaker 2: the culture. We're called to be ambassadors for Jesus Christ.
[9:57] Speaker 2: The fact that it's not politically correct not impede our
[10:01] Speaker 2: progress in the least. I can tell you this from
[10:05] Speaker 2: a personal standpoint. Over the years I've taken the hard road,
[10:12] Speaker 2: whether in my book Christianity in Crisis or Counterfeit Revival
[10:16] Speaker 2: The Apocalypse Code, I have never tried to say that
[10:21] Speaker 2: which is politically correct or popular. Why because truth matters
[10:29] Speaker 2: and I genuinely care to carry out the mission and
[10:33] Speaker 2: the vision that God has given to the Christian Research Institute.
[10:37] Speaker 2: Now in the process, sometimes you find yourself out of
[10:40] Speaker 2: the mainstream, you find yourself under the pile, you find
[10:44] Speaker 2: that people no longer support you. But that's not the point.
[10:47] Speaker 2: The point has never been popularity. The point is always
[10:53] Speaker 2: to do what you do because truth matters, and ultimately
[10:58] Speaker 2: we only have an audience one that one is God.
[11:03] Speaker 2: We'll be right back.
[11:04] Speaker 1: Every CRII outreach, our broadcast, podcast, website, resources, the Christian
[11:10] Speaker 1: Research Journal and more is made possible only because of
[11:14] Speaker 1: friends like you. Your partnership matters. What kind of impact
[11:19] Speaker 1: has your partnership had an impact for time and for eternity.

[11:48] Speaker 1: God bless you. We'll be back in just a moment
[11:52] Speaker 1: with more from Hank Hannagraph. Winston Churchill once declared, you
[12:02] Speaker 1: may have to fight when there is no hope of victory,
[12:05] Speaker 1: because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.
[12:09] Speaker 1: Churchill sought to awaken those who were reluctant to fight
[12:12] Speaker 1: against the advancing Nazi war machine. Today, a spiritual battle
[12:17] Speaker 1: is taking place. Atheism advances in the West, and slavery
[12:21] Speaker 1: to secularity is imprisoning more and more hearts and minds
[12:25] Speaker 1: in the United States. For this reason, crii's ministry is critical,
[12:30] Speaker 1: but we need people willing to stand for truth, along
[12:33] Speaker 1: with the financial provisions to accomplish its mission. Stand with
[12:37] Speaker 1: Hank Hanigraph and the Christian Research Institute during the month
[12:40] Speaker 1: of June to end the fiscal year in a position
[12:43] Speaker 1: of strength. Call eight eight eight seven thousand CreI and

[13:08] Speaker 1: Scripture merely human in origin? Or are they, in fact
[13:11] Speaker 1: the very words of God himself. Three years in the
[13:16] Speaker 1: making and based on two decades of research and reflection,
[13:20] Speaker 1: Hank Henigraph's monumental book Has God Spoken answers what is
[13:24] Speaker 1: surely the most important question facing our world. In Has
[13:28] Speaker 1: God Spoken? Memorable Proofs of the Bible's Divine Inspiration, Hank
[13:33] Speaker 1: counters the contentions of the Bible attackers and clearly shows
[13:36] Speaker 1: that belief in the Holy Scriptures is not a guess
[13:39] Speaker 1: or wishful thinking. It is the only logical conclusion after

[14:01] Speaker 4: Hank Hanigraph has dedicated his life to defending truth because
[14:04] Speaker 4: truth matters. Yet, an encounter with Christians in the underground
[14:08] Speaker 4: Church of China left Hanograph contemplating his Christian experience. They
[14:12] Speaker 4: were experiencing something beyond truth. They were experiencing life. Truth matters,
[14:18] Speaker 4: Life matters More by Hank Hanigraph is two books in one,
[14:21] Speaker 4: Because Truth Matters. Part one equips Christians to defend the
[14:24] Speaker 4: essential truths of the historic Christian faith. In Part two,

[15:07] Speaker 1: And now here's Hank Hanagraph.
[15:09] Speaker 2: Here very much, Randy and my phone lines doctor Chris.
[15:12] Speaker 2: He's listening on serious XM.
[15:15] Speaker 5: Hi Chris, Hi, Hank, thanks for taking my call, my pleasure.
[15:20] Speaker 5: I have a friend who recently has disclosed that he
[15:27] Speaker 5: adheres to thee A millennial view of scripture, and my
[15:33] Speaker 5: alarm bells went off real quick when I got into
[15:38] Speaker 5: a bit of a debate with him. And I'm wondering
[15:41] Speaker 5: what your position is on that, And further, I feel
[15:45] Speaker 5: like it's twisting scripture, and it mayn't be heretical. So
[15:48] Speaker 5: I was just wondering what you thought about that.
[15:51] Speaker 2: Well, the first thing I think about that is the
[15:53] Speaker 2: timing of the tribulation or the meaning of the millennium
[15:56] Speaker 2: is not something that we want to affix the word Harris.
[16:00] Speaker 2: This is something that we can debate vigorously as Christians,
[16:05] Speaker 2: but we simply don't have to divide over. So I
[16:08] Speaker 2: wouldn't have fixed the word heresy to this. There are
[16:11] Speaker 2: Christians who believe that the millennium is a period of
[16:15] Speaker 2: time between the first and second comings of Christ, so
[16:17] Speaker 2: they still associate an indiscriminate amount of time, perhaps two
[16:22] Speaker 2: thousand or more years to this timeframe. We don't know
[16:26] Speaker 2: at this point, or a non millennial can't tell you
[16:28] Speaker 2: exactly how much time will elapse because the second Coming
[16:31] Speaker 2: of Jesus Christ is not yet taking place. The pre
[16:34] Speaker 2: millennial position is a position which says that after the
[16:38] Speaker 2: second Coming of Jesus Christ, people will be saved and
[16:41] Speaker 2: there'll be a one thousand years semi golden age with
[16:45] Speaker 2: a rebuilt temple and reinstitute of temple sacrifices, and some
[16:48] Speaker 2: even say that those temple sacrifices will atone for sin,
[16:52] Speaker 2: then there'll be a great apostasy at the end of
[16:54] Speaker 2: this millennial age, and then the eternal state. I personally
[16:59] Speaker 2: don't agree with either of those two positions. I think
[17:02] Speaker 2: that what Revelation is communicating is not a quantity of time,
[17:07] Speaker 2: but a quality of vindication for the martyrs. In other words,
[17:11] Speaker 2: they will suffer for a short time, their vindication will
[17:15] Speaker 2: be an eternal vindication. But I think ultimately to settle
[17:19] Speaker 2: this in your mind requires something that I think few
[17:23] Speaker 2: people spend enough time with, and that is an understanding
[17:26] Speaker 2: of the art and science, a biblical interpretation. To understand
[17:30] Speaker 2: the Book of Revelation, and this includes Revelation chapter twenty,
[17:34] Speaker 2: where this idea of a thousand years is repeated six times.
[17:39] Speaker 2: You have to have a good understanding or a good
[17:43] Speaker 2: grasp of the Old Testament scriptures. If you do not,
[17:48] Speaker 2: you might get caught going off on a fantastic fantasy
[17:53] Speaker 2: journey as opposed to rooting or grounding yourself in the
[17:58] Speaker 2: wellspring of Old ten Testament information. Want to go back
[18:02] Speaker 2: to the phone lines, talk to Roxanne Hi.
[18:04] Speaker 3: Roxanne Hik, I was wondering if you think Jewish people
[18:09] Speaker 3: go to heaven.
[18:11] Speaker 2: Well, I don't think it has anything to do with ethnicity.
[18:14] Speaker 2: I don't think it has to do with your background
[18:16] Speaker 2: or your genealogy, whether you're a male or a female,
[18:19] Speaker 2: whether you're Jew or Greek, what your station in life is.
[18:23] Speaker 2: All it has to do with is are you in
[18:27] Speaker 2: Jesus Christ. If you are in Jesus Christ, then you
[18:29] Speaker 2: are the seed of Abraham and an air according to
[18:33] Speaker 2: the promise. This Paul makes very very plain in Galatians
[18:37] Speaker 2: chapter three. Abraham only had one seed. That seed is
[18:41] Speaker 2: Jesus Christ. If you are in Jesus Christ, you are
[18:44] Speaker 2: the seed of Abraham, as I said, The Bible explicitly
[18:48] Speaker 2: says you are then an heir according to the promise.
[18:53] Speaker 2: So Abraham was called to be the father of many nations.
[18:56] Speaker 2: In fact, that's what his name means. His name was
[18:59] Speaker 2: changed from Abram to Abraham, and we see him as
[19:02] Speaker 2: being the father of many nations. In that it's not
[19:06] Speaker 2: about whether you are a particular ethnicity. It has to
[19:12] Speaker 2: do with whether you are rooted and grounded in Jesus Christ.
[19:18] Speaker 3: Okay, thank you, you got it.
[19:20] Speaker 2: Thank you so much for your call. We'll go back
[19:23] Speaker 2: to the phone lines now. Talk to Chris. He's listening
[19:25] Speaker 2: to Oklahoma. Hi Chris, Hey, Hank.
[19:28] Speaker 6: I have a question for you. How would I explain
[19:31] Speaker 6: to someone that thinks Jesus Christ is the only way?
[19:35] Speaker 6: You know, the bay goes on when you say, well,
[19:38] Speaker 6: someone in the third one country who haven't heard of
[19:40] Speaker 6: Jesus Christ. If they never heard of him, that's their
[19:43] Speaker 6: fault because it's in their will and they're not going
[19:46] Speaker 6: to go to heaven. And I'm trying to explain to
[19:48] Speaker 6: him that Jesus is the way, but it's not the
[19:52] Speaker 6: only way. Am I right?
[19:54] Speaker 2: Well? Jesus said, I am the way, the truth in
[19:56] Speaker 2: the life. No one comes to the Father but by me,
[19:59] Speaker 2: So I think that words trump any other words. But
[20:02] Speaker 2: here's how you need to look at it. Every single
[20:05] Speaker 2: person gets the light of creation in the light of conscience,
[20:08] Speaker 2: which is to say that there's an outer light in
[20:11] Speaker 2: an inner light. The outer light is a light that
[20:14] Speaker 2: demonstrates there has to be a God. If you look
[20:17] Speaker 2: at any effect, it has to have a cause equal
[20:20] Speaker 2: to or greater than itself. So when you look at
[20:23] Speaker 2: the heavens, you know there is a God. But God
[20:26] Speaker 2: has also written large a knowledge of himself on the
[20:29] Speaker 2: tablet of our consciousness. So we have that inner light
[20:32] Speaker 2: as well. And if we respond to the light of creation,
[20:36] Speaker 2: light of conscience, we can receive the light of Christ.
[20:41] Speaker 2: Which is to say that Christ himself made clear that
[20:44] Speaker 2: the real problem is not that there isn't enough light.
[20:48] Speaker 2: The real problem is that men loved darkness rather than
[20:52] Speaker 2: light because their deeds are evil. So there is only
[20:57] Speaker 2: one way by which you can be reconciled to the fight.
[21:00] Speaker 2: There's only one who can bridge the chasm between our
[21:05] Speaker 2: sin and God's holiness. That one is crystal, is pure,
[21:12] Speaker 2: that one can give to us the sparkling robes of
[21:16] Speaker 2: his own righteousness to cover our own righteousness. And there's
[21:21] Speaker 2: no one else who can save us. We can't save ourselves.
[21:26] Speaker 2: Mohammed can't save us, Krishna can't save us, No other
[21:31] Speaker 2: earthly human being can save us. Only Jesus Christ, who
[21:36] Speaker 2: is God in human flesh, can bridge that chasm between
[21:41] Speaker 2: our sin and God's righteousness. That's the message of the Bible.
[21:46] Speaker 2: And I'd add to that that it's never the absence
[21:49] Speaker 2: of truth that damns, it's always the despising of truth
[21:54] Speaker 2: that damns. And therefore, once again I refer you to
[21:58] Speaker 2: the words of Jesus Christ who said light came into darkness.
[22:01] Speaker 2: Men love darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil.
[22:05] Speaker 2: So again, the problem is not that there's not light
[22:08] Speaker 2: that people can adhere to. It is that people are
[22:12] Speaker 2: lost because they love darkness rather than light.
[22:16] Speaker 6: Well, Hank, you answered that. Thank you very much. Maygod
[22:19] Speaker 6: continue to bless you in your ministry. And thankful who
[22:23] Speaker 6: God bless you?
[22:23] Speaker 2: You got it. Thank you so much. And let's go
[22:26] Speaker 2: back to the phone lines and talk to Carl next.
[22:29] Speaker 2: He's listening in cal Grielberti, Canada.
[22:31] Speaker 7: Hi Carl, Hi, Hank. My question ties in nicely with
[22:36] Speaker 7: one of your previous callers in terms of how we
[22:38] Speaker 7: as leaders in the church deal with individuals coming to
[22:43] Speaker 7: the church that are on church, no church background, or
[22:46] Speaker 7: very little church background. They have a lot of sin
[22:48] Speaker 7: in their lives, whether it be homosexuality or living common law.
[22:52] Speaker 7: At what point do we offer them or extend them
[22:55] Speaker 7: baptism and then also membership into the church. Well, how
[22:58] Speaker 7: far along the sanctification process do they need to be
[23:02] Speaker 7: to qualify for say, baptism and or membership.
[23:05] Speaker 2: Well, the entrance requirements are always the same. It doesn't
[23:08] Speaker 2: matter what your station in life is, or what your
[23:11] Speaker 2: gender is, what your background is. The entrance requirements are
[23:17] Speaker 2: always the same for every single person, which is to
[23:21] Speaker 2: say that we recognize that we're a sinner, we repent
[23:26] Speaker 2: of our sin, and then we receive Jesus Christ as
[23:30] Speaker 2: savior and Lord of our life. When we do that,
[23:34] Speaker 2: then Jesus Christ comes in and it begins to clean
[23:37] Speaker 2: up our life. So the entrance requirements again are realize
[23:42] Speaker 2: you're a sinner, repent of your sin, and receive Jesus
[23:45] Speaker 2: Christ as savior and Lord of your life. When you
[23:48] Speaker 2: do that, then you're baptized. And you're not baptized as
[23:52] Speaker 2: a lone ranger Christian, but you're baptized into the body
[23:56] Speaker 2: of Christ. Christ is building a body we can't look
[24:01] Speaker 2: down at any person. Do not be proud, says Paul.
[24:06] Speaker 2: Do not be conceited, but be willing to associate with
[24:10] Speaker 2: people of low position. So in the body of Christ,
[24:14] Speaker 2: there's no hierarchy. I'm better than you, I'm cleaner than you,
[24:18] Speaker 2: I've got more money than you. At the foot of
[24:20] Speaker 2: the cross, there's complete equality, and we recognize that every
[24:24] Speaker 2: person is necessary within the body. Now obviously if someone
[24:30] Speaker 2: comes into the body and says, you know, I don't
[24:32] Speaker 2: really care about this message that Jesus Christ has given
[24:37] Speaker 2: by which you must be saved. Rather, I want to
[24:39] Speaker 2: continue doing it my own way. Well, certainly they would
[24:43] Speaker 2: not become members of the Body of Christ. They may
[24:46] Speaker 2: be spectators looking on from without, but they're not members
[24:50] Speaker 2: of the Body of Christ, and therefore they don't partake
[24:53] Speaker 2: of communion. In fact, to let them partake of communion
[24:57] Speaker 2: as part of the Community or the Fellowship of Blo
[25:00] Speaker 2: would be eating and drinking destruction into their own lives.
[25:04] Speaker 2: So we would protect them from those kinds of things
[25:07] Speaker 2: because they would be harmful to them. We always want
[25:10] Speaker 2: to protect the people, which are ultimately the crowning jewels
[25:15] Speaker 2: of God's creation, even if they decide to live by
[25:18] Speaker 2: the dictates of their own will. So again, the simple
[25:23] Speaker 2: answer is, anyone who realizes that they're a sinner, repents
[25:29] Speaker 2: of their sin and receive Jesus Christ should be welcomed
[25:33] Speaker 2: into the Church with open arms, regardless of what their
[25:37] Speaker 2: station in life may or may not be.

[27:05] Speaker 1: the Nazi war machine would secure the victory, but the
[27:08] Speaker 1: Soviets battled back from near certain defeat with extraordinary courage
[27:13] Speaker 1: and resoluteness to turn the tide of the battle and
[27:16] Speaker 1: ultimately the war. The lesson is that both men and
[27:19] Speaker 1: material people and provisions played a critical role. Willingness to
