[1:12] Speaker 2: A lot of you hanging on. We'll go right to
[1:14] Speaker 2: the phone lines. First up today is Deborah. She's listening
[1:17] Speaker 2: on the web in Mesa, Arizona.
[1:19] Speaker 3: Hi Deborah, Hi, I'm super nervous. Oh, but my son
[1:25] Speaker 3: is a genius. Literally, like we had his IQ tested
[1:28] Speaker 3: because he was kind of a difficult child. And he's
[1:32] Speaker 3: twenty six now and he was baptized when he was younger,
[1:37] Speaker 3: and he's fallen away from the face, and he is
[1:44] Speaker 3: upset with God because he said that God is an
[1:48] Speaker 3: egotist and that he's egomaniacal, because he just created us
[1:54] Speaker 3: to worship him, knowing full well that we were going
[1:57] Speaker 3: to sin. And I I tried the you know that
[2:02] Speaker 3: he gave us free will because love is not love
[2:05] Speaker 3: without the power to act and act otherwise, I used
[2:09] Speaker 3: your words, and I tried when I said that it
[2:15] Speaker 3: upset him because he said that God is sovereign, so
[2:19] Speaker 3: he knew that we would sin and that we would
[2:23] Speaker 3: turn away. And this big experiment is just a dismal failure,
[2:28] Speaker 3: or it's just an exercise in boosting God's ego, maniacal
[2:33] Speaker 3: and monumental ego. So I tried saying that if my
[2:41] Speaker 3: son created all things and had that power, that he
[2:47] Speaker 3: would know the truth and that he would deserve to
[2:51] Speaker 3: be worshiped and demand to be worshiped, because I pointed
[2:55] Speaker 3: out he's fantastic at football. He knows everything about football.
[3:00] Speaker 3: So I tried a football analogy with him, and I said,
[3:04] Speaker 3: you get really upset with others when they don't honor
[3:07] Speaker 3: the truth of your vast football knowledge. And his retort was, yes,
[3:13] Speaker 3: but I didn't create them, And I said, well, yeah,
[3:16] Speaker 3: but if you actually did, if they were your children,
[3:20] Speaker 3: I think you would be more, not less upset. But
[3:23] Speaker 3: you love them enough to keep trying and move them
[3:26] Speaker 3: back to your line of thinking. And it feels like
[3:30] Speaker 3: a circle with him, and I just don't know what
[3:32] Speaker 3: to say to him to get him to understand that.
[3:38] Speaker 3: Because God is so fantastic in so many ways, and
[3:42] Speaker 3: he created DNA and he created our ability to think
[3:46] Speaker 3: and all of those things that we should worship anything
[3:52] Speaker 3: that would be able to do that kind of magnificent thing.
[3:57] Speaker 3: You know, just creating us is a magnificent thing. A
[4:00] Speaker 3: tree is a magnificent saying, shouldn't you worship something that
[4:04] Speaker 3: did that had that ability? And his point just keeps
[4:09] Speaker 3: going back to he knew we would sin, and he
[4:12] Speaker 3: knew we'd be horrible people, and you know he made
[4:15] Speaker 3: us bad, and I just I don't know, I'm desperate.
[4:22] Speaker 4: Me.
[4:23] Speaker 2: Well, I tell you I didn't want to say a word, Deborah,
[4:25] Speaker 2: because I'm absolutely enthralled by the way you're dealing with
[4:29] Speaker 2: your son. That's fantastic. And remember, you can't talk anyone
[4:34] Speaker 2: into a relationship with the Lord. You can be a
[4:38] Speaker 2: well equipped, well trained vessel in the hand of the Lord.
[4:42] Speaker 2: And that is precisely what you are doing. You are
[4:45] Speaker 2: demonstrating that you are an equipped tool and you are
[4:49] Speaker 2: communicating in a way that demonstrates both love and wisdom.
[4:55] Speaker 2: Now let's go back to something you said earlier. Your
[4:58] Speaker 2: son said, God knew what people would do. The reality is,
[5:08] Speaker 2: you knew exactly what would happen as a result of
[5:14] Speaker 2: having your son. You knew that your son would grow
[5:17] Speaker 2: up in a cursed creation. You knew that your son
[5:22] Speaker 2: would experience pain and sorrow and eventually die, and yet
[5:28] Speaker 2: you chose to have him because you knew that it
[5:32] Speaker 2: was better to love and lose than never love at all.
[5:36] Speaker 2: And I think that is an apt analogy for God.
[5:41] Speaker 2: God loved us so much that he was willing to
[5:47] Speaker 2: bear alienation and sin on our part, because worship ultimately
[5:55] Speaker 2: involves the knowledge of God. The knowledge of God as
[6:00] Speaker 2: an incomparable good. If God is a perfect being. It
[6:06] Speaker 2: is the natural order of things to worship him. In
[6:11] Speaker 2: other words, it is that which by nature we are
[6:16] Speaker 2: designed to do. It is that which completes us. So
[6:21] Speaker 2: far from being ego maniacal, God has given us the
[6:26] Speaker 2: opportunity to be in perfect worship or perfect fellowship with Him.
[6:32] Speaker 2: That perfect worship and fellowship was broken as a result
[6:35] Speaker 2: of our sin. And now what happens. You have the
[6:39] Speaker 2: one who spoke and the universe leaped into existence, lying
[6:45] Speaker 2: before his creation in the pool of his own blood.
[6:51] Speaker 2: That gives some kind of meaning to how much God
[6:55] Speaker 2: loves us, and how significant fellowship i e. Worship ultimately
[7:03] Speaker 2: with God is how much God is willing to bridge
[7:08] Speaker 2: the relationship between our sin and his holiness such that
[7:15] Speaker 2: we can have the best of all worlds in the future,
[7:19] Speaker 2: a world in which we are forever able not to sin.
[7:23] Speaker 2: Now again, you can go back to the beginning, an
[7:26] Speaker 2: argument that you so eloquently used with your son. You
[7:29] Speaker 2: could go back to this idea that God could have
[7:32] Speaker 2: created him as a chatty kathy doll. You pull the
[7:37] Speaker 2: string and whatever's programmed in comes out. But God did
[7:41] Speaker 2: not do that, because had God done that, love would
[7:46] Speaker 2: be rendered meaningless, and you communicated that, and that's all
[7:50] Speaker 2: we can do. We can communicate the truth, but only
[7:54] Speaker 2: God changes the heart. Now, as a mother, it's a
[7:58] Speaker 2: difficult thing to see some one who once had a
[8:02] Speaker 2: relationship with the Lord walk away from that relationship. Whatever.
[8:05] Speaker 2: That relationship might have been, deep, shallow, whatever, But to
[8:10] Speaker 2: walk away from that, it's a difficult thing for a
[8:12] Speaker 2: mother to see. But one thing you can do as
[8:15] Speaker 2: a mom is you can pray that God brings people
[8:19] Speaker 2: and circumstances into the life of your son so that
[8:22] Speaker 2: he might come to a true valuation of things. And
[8:26] Speaker 2: likely it will be not just your witness, but it
[8:30] Speaker 2: will be your witness augmented by the witness of other
[8:34] Speaker 2: people over time. Your prayers on behalf of yourself that
[8:37] Speaker 2: ultimately will be firing the winning shot. But the fact
[8:41] Speaker 2: that you are so able to communicate these truths just
[8:46] Speaker 2: blows me away. And I'm really grateful, and I think
[8:49] Speaker 2: he should be grateful for having a mom like that.
[8:52] Speaker 3: Oh, you're really sweet. It's just super frustrating, you know.
[8:57] Speaker 3: Sometimes it's just a lot easier to deal with not
[9:01] Speaker 3: as smart people, you know what I mean, Because he's
[9:06] Speaker 3: just so caught up in the fact that God doesn't
[9:10] Speaker 3: do things the way that he would do And given that,
[9:16] Speaker 3: you know, God's an idiot, or he's an egotist, or
[9:19] Speaker 3: he's a whatever. And I guess there isn't a good
[9:23] Speaker 3: argument for that.
[9:25] Speaker 2: Well there is, and you've given that argument quite eloquently.
[9:29] Speaker 2: I mean, if you think back to the things you
[9:30] Speaker 2: have said, I think you're on target. I mean, the
[9:32] Speaker 2: Lord is leading you and you are equipped, and that's
[9:35] Speaker 2: exactly what we need to be equipped because ultimately, and
[9:40] Speaker 2: I've said this many times on the broadcast, it's not
[9:42] Speaker 2: about evangelism. It's about being equipped for evangelism. God using
[9:47] Speaker 2: your well resented answer as a springboard or an opportunity.
[9:50] Speaker 2: But again, only he changes the heart. So you are
[9:54] Speaker 2: an equipped tool and a vessel. And because you have
[9:58] Speaker 2: a very intelligent son, you are are constantly being pressed
[10:01] Speaker 2: to the limits, and as a result of that, you
[10:04] Speaker 2: are learning. And therefore God is going to use what
[10:08] Speaker 2: you have learned, not only in the life of Madison,
[10:11] Speaker 2: but no doubt in the life of other people as well.
[10:15] Speaker 3: Thank you so much for your time. I really super
[10:18] Speaker 3: appreciate it, and I hear the music. But I had
[10:20] Speaker 3: one more question but I will let.
[10:22] Speaker 2: You go, gouple of shat Dibra, And it is hard
[10:26] Speaker 2: for me to walk away from an incredible lady who
[10:29] Speaker 2: is doing this kind of evangelism work with her own son.
[10:32] Speaker 2: So I hope all of you listening in have benefited
[10:35] Speaker 2: both from her eloquence as well as some of the
[10:38] Speaker 2: comments I made. WILL be right back with more of
[10:41] Speaker 2: your questions.
[10:43] Speaker 1: The Church of Almighty God, also known as Eastern Lightning,
[10:47] Speaker 1: is a socially subversive pseudo Christian cult. It follows a
[10:51] Speaker 1: self proclaimed female Christ whose heretical doctrines incite violence, denying
[10:58] Speaker 1: the Trinity and biblical authority. Eastern Lightning uses psychological intimidation,
[11:03] Speaker 1: disrupts families, and has even perpetrated physical assaults in graphic language.
[11:09] Speaker 1: The counterfeit Christ exhorts followers to abandon their families and
[11:14] Speaker 1: devote themselves to recruiting new converts, branding those who refuse
[11:18] Speaker 1: as worthless. You can read more about the Iron Rod

[13:05] Speaker 1: Has God Spoken? Are the words of Scripture merely human
[13:09] Speaker 1: in origin? Or are they, in fact the very words
[13:12] Speaker 1: of God himself? Three years in the making and based
[13:17] Speaker 1: on two decades of research and reflection, Hank Henigraph's monumental
[13:21] Speaker 1: book Has God Spoken answers what is surely the most
[13:25] Speaker 1: important question facing our world. In Has God Spoken? Memorable
[13:30] Speaker 1: Proofs of the Bible's Divine inspiration, Hank counters the contentions
[13:34] Speaker 1: of the Bible attackers and clearly shows that belief in
[13:37] Speaker 1: the Holy Scriptures is not a guess or wishful thinking.
[13:40] Speaker 1: It is the only logical conclusion after an honest examination

[15:07] Speaker 1: back to the Bible answer Man Broadcast and your host
[15:11] Speaker 1: and Canagraph.
[15:12] Speaker 2: Thank you very much, Randy, and we will go right
[15:14] Speaker 2: back to the phone callers. Next up is Andrew listening
[15:17] Speaker 2: in Saint Louis, Missouri. Hi, Andrew, Hey, how are you,
[15:20] Speaker 2: Hank good? How are you? I am really good.
[15:24] Speaker 6: I have some friends that use.
[15:25] Speaker 4: Wigi boards and I've heard that they are dangerous and
[15:28] Speaker 4: I was wondering he so you can explain to me
[15:30] Speaker 4: how they work and how they're dangerous.
[15:32] Speaker 2: Well, I think the danger is in the intent of
[15:36] Speaker 2: the person that is using the Ouiji board, because the
[15:41] Speaker 2: idea here is a feudal attempt to bypass God and
[15:47] Speaker 2: to access super information that comes from supernatural realms on
[15:53] Speaker 2: your own. So you're bypassing God and trying to get
[15:56] Speaker 2: information about the future through occult means. And therein lies
[16:01] Speaker 2: the danger because if you look at passages in the
[16:05] Speaker 2: Old Testament, in particular, like Deuteronomy chapter eighteen, we are worn.
[16:09] Speaker 2: There shall be no one among you who uses divination,
[16:14] Speaker 2: who interprets omens, who's a spiritist, who calls up the dead.
[16:18] Speaker 2: All of these things and many others that are delineated
[16:21] Speaker 2: there are detestable to the Lord. And because of these
[16:25] Speaker 2: detestable practices, the Lord your God will drive you out,
[16:30] Speaker 2: just like He drove the nations out who are in
[16:33] Speaker 2: the land here before you got to the land. So
[16:36] Speaker 2: the point is trying to bypass God through other supernatural means.
[16:42] Speaker 4: Very cool, Thanks God, Bless you.
[16:45] Speaker 2: God, bless you. Thank you so much for your call.
[16:47] Speaker 2: And by the way, I don't think that the planchet
[16:50] Speaker 2: on the Luigi board is actually moved by a demon,
[16:52] Speaker 2: because demons, they can tempt you, but they can't bite you.
[16:58] Speaker 2: They can't move physical objects, they don't have creedive power.
[17:03] Speaker 2: They can engage in mind to mind communication. And that's
[17:06] Speaker 2: why we're told in Ephesians chapter six to put on
[17:10] Speaker 2: the form of God so that we can withstand the
[17:13] Speaker 2: wiles of the evil one. I want to go back
[17:16] Speaker 2: to the phone line now and let's talk next to Tony.
[17:19] Speaker 2: He's listening in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tony, Hello, Yeah, I'm calling.
[17:24] Speaker 4: I was listening and you were saying that we have
[17:28] Speaker 4: this free will, And I see no where in the
[17:31] Speaker 4: Bible where he teaches that we have free will. The
[17:34] Speaker 4: only will man has his self will. So how is
[17:38] Speaker 4: it that you say that we can choose whether we're
[17:40] Speaker 4: being burned into the Kingdom of God when he's the
[17:44] Speaker 4: one who does the birth.
[17:47] Speaker 2: Well, that's an opinion that you have, and I simply
[17:50] Speaker 2: do not share that opinion.
[17:52] Speaker 4: No, no, no, that's what the Bible says. The Bible says
[17:54] Speaker 4: we were born not of blood, nor the will of man,
[17:57] Speaker 4: nor the will of flesh, but by God. Right, But
[18:01] Speaker 4: you are How can you make yourself alive when we're
[18:04] Speaker 4: all dead? If Christ did not pick out him a
[18:07] Speaker 4: family where we come alive to.
[18:11] Speaker 2: Choose Christ, I think you're confusing categories. I don't think
[18:15] Speaker 2: that the Bible there is talking about physical death, but
[18:18] Speaker 2: spiritual death. But here's the point, in Matthew, that's what
[18:21] Speaker 2: I'm talking about.
[18:22] Speaker 4: I'm talking about spiritual.
[18:24] Speaker 2: I'm trying to answer a question. But if you have
[18:26] Speaker 2: a solid opinion, I respect your opinion. I'd like to
[18:30] Speaker 2: answer your question. If you would permit me to do that,
[18:32] Speaker 2: I'd be happy to do that. I'm happy to hear
[18:35] Speaker 2: what you have to say.
[18:37] Speaker 4: Well, what I'm saying, I'm talking about what Bible said.
[18:40] Speaker 4: This is not opinion. I'm afraid that we don't define
[18:43] Speaker 4: anything anymore. We like the word love. You say that
[18:48] Speaker 4: love love, love is either two words for lay or
[18:51] Speaker 4: on God, and that means walking in God. Godpin is
[18:54] Speaker 4: always walking into themandment of God. And if God's wiping
[18:58] Speaker 4: his laws in our hearts, then there's no way that
[19:01] Speaker 4: we're not going to follow Christ.
[19:03] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[19:04] Speaker 4: Well, of course in our hearts if we don't belong
[19:07] Speaker 4: to them.
[19:07] Speaker 2: The point here is that even what you say about
[19:10] Speaker 2: love is wrong. There are not only two definitions for
[19:13] Speaker 2: love given in the Bible. But what I was going
[19:15] Speaker 2: to point out is in Matthew twenty three thirty seven,
[19:18] Speaker 2: Jesus himself says, Oh Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who killed the
[19:21] Speaker 2: prophets and stone though sent to you, how often I
[19:26] Speaker 2: have longed to gather your children together as a hen
[19:29] Speaker 2: gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing.
[19:35] Speaker 2: I think that there are many passages that point to
[19:38] Speaker 2: the will of humankind. We have an honest difference of
[19:44] Speaker 2: opinion here. Certainly, it is true that there are Christians
[19:48] Speaker 2: who believe that there are people who are born doomed
[19:52] Speaker 2: from the womb to certain destruction, but not all people
[19:55] Speaker 2: believe that. Within the pale of orthodoxy. There are other
[19:58] Speaker 2: people that believe that we can respond to the wooing
[20:01] Speaker 2: of the Holy Spirit. Certainly, there is a difference between
[20:05] Speaker 2: compatibilistic and circumstantial freedom and libertarian freedom that is articulated
[20:10] Speaker 2: in a debate in the Christian Research Journal, which we
[20:14] Speaker 2: have available if you're interested in looking at two really
[20:17] Speaker 2: good minds that take that issue and debate it. The
[20:22] Speaker 2: article is available online at equipped dot org. But the
[20:25] Speaker 2: very passage that you cited, John one twelve, if quoted
[20:32] Speaker 2: in context, you will see that it's all those who
[20:37] Speaker 2: receive Jesus who are given the right to become children
[20:43] Speaker 2: of God. So context does make a substantial difference. Back
[20:46] Speaker 2: to the phone lines, let's go to Mikey's listening in
[20:49] Speaker 2: Saint Louis, Missouri. Hi Mike Henk, how you doing good?
[20:53] Speaker 6: How are you good? I have a question for you.
[20:56] Speaker 6: I've been involved with a band that I'm playing some
[20:59] Speaker 6: music with, and we're Christian based band. We happen to
[21:02] Speaker 6: be playing in a place that used to be an
[21:03] Speaker 6: old church, and after a little further research, used to
[21:07] Speaker 6: be a Haitian church, which I think looks to be
[21:10] Speaker 6: at least somewhat voodoo in its orientation. But we've had
[21:13] Speaker 6: some weird things happen there. And I am definitely a believer,
[21:17] Speaker 6: but I can't explain these things that happen there, like
[21:21] Speaker 6: people getting scratched physically. They feel like they've been touched physically,
[21:25] Speaker 6: they get sick physically. I have not experienced this myself,
[21:29] Speaker 6: but I'm wondering Cana demon inflict physical harm, make you sick,
[21:33] Speaker 6: or anything of that nature.
[21:35] Speaker 2: I think it's social psychological because the issue is very clear.
[21:41] Speaker 2: Satan can tempt you, but he can't throw you around,
[21:46] Speaker 2: he can't bite you, he can't scratch you. Satan is
[21:50] Speaker 2: non physical and he doesn't have creative power. Therefore, he
[21:54] Speaker 2: can't create a body. He can't create things or fingernails
[21:58] Speaker 2: to scratch you with. So I think the important thing
[22:01] Speaker 2: in spiritual warfare always gets back to the same thing,
[22:04] Speaker 2: and that is to put on the full armor of
[22:06] Speaker 2: God so that you can take your stand against the
[22:10] Speaker 2: principalities and powers of darkness. And you also have to
[22:14] Speaker 2: recognize that Paul and Ephesian six puts the emphasis in
[22:18] Speaker 2: the right place, which is the power of God to
[22:21] Speaker 2: protect as opposed to the power of Satan to pillage.
[22:25] Speaker 2: So again I think it's important for us to recognize
[22:28] Speaker 2: that we need to put on the full armor of
[22:30] Speaker 2: God so we can stand against the wiles of the
[22:33] Speaker 2: evil One. But the kind of temptation that Paul is
[22:37] Speaker 2: talking about is mind to mind temptation. It is not
[22:42] Speaker 2: physical infliction via nails or things.
[22:48] Speaker 6: Okay, what a physical possession is that type of thing
[22:51] Speaker 6: that is still a possibility in this day and age
[22:54] Speaker 6: as it was back then.
[22:55] Speaker 2: Well, you are either possessed by God or you are
[22:59] Speaker 2: possessed of the devil. Those are the only two categories.
[23:02] Speaker 2: So you are either the kingdom of God or you're
[23:04] Speaker 2: in the kingdom of darkness. If you're in the kingdom
[23:06] Speaker 2: of darkness, then you fall under the spell of the
[23:10] Speaker 2: evil One. If you are in the Kingdom of light,
[23:14] Speaker 2: then the King himself inhabits you, and greater is he
[23:18] Speaker 2: that is in you than he that is in the world.
[23:21] Speaker 2: So again I think the emphasis that we have to
[23:23] Speaker 2: have here is in the power of God to protect
[23:28] Speaker 2: rather than the power of Satan to pillage. I wrote
[23:31] Speaker 2: a book about this. It's called The Covering God's Plan
[23:34] Speaker 2: to Protect You from Evil, and again it points out
[23:38] Speaker 2: how transcendently important it is to put on the full
[23:42] Speaker 2: armor of God. If you don't, you're a guaranteed casualty.
[23:45] Speaker 2: If you do, you're invincible and spiritual warfare.
[23:49] Speaker 6: Hey man, thank you for your help, Hank. I really
[23:51] Speaker 6: appreciate it. I'm gonna look into getting that book. And
[23:53] Speaker 6: God bless you and your ministry. You've been a great help.
[23:55] Speaker 2: Hey. Thanks, Mike, appreciate your call back to the phone lines.
[23:59] Speaker 2: We'll talk doesz he's listening in Charlotte, North Carolina. Hi, Zach, Hey,
[24:03] Speaker 2: how you doing to good? How are you good?
[24:06] Speaker 1: Luck?
[24:06] Speaker 4: What they have to do with the Seven Day of ventity?
[24:08] Speaker 2: Yeah, and I just kind of living.
[24:11] Speaker 4: Are some of their preachers on the radio, and they've
[24:12] Speaker 4: seen to put on high premium on the writings of
[24:15] Speaker 4: Hellen G.
[24:16] Speaker 2: Y Well. Seventh Day Adventism is an interesting organization and
[24:21] Speaker 2: that they're not monolithic, They're multifaceted. And so you have
[24:26] Speaker 2: Seventh Day Adventists who are traditionalists, and those traditionalists they
[24:30] Speaker 2: really focus in on the teachings of L.
[24:34] Speaker 3: And G.
[24:34] Speaker 2: White. They focus in on soul sleep and Sabbatarianism and
[24:39] Speaker 2: the seer status of their profit. And as a result
[24:43] Speaker 2: of that, I have had the experience many times after
[24:45] Speaker 2: I finished a speaking engagement and I've signed books, and
[24:49] Speaker 2: I've talked to people, and it's late at night and
[24:52] Speaker 2: there are a group of Adventists waiting in the wings,
[24:55] Speaker 2: and they want to say, if I don't capitulate to
[24:59] Speaker 2: their view on Sabbatarianism, I have taken on the mark
[25:03] Speaker 2: of the Beast. But I think this is the traditionalist camp.
[25:08] Speaker 2: There are also Adventists who are thoroughly Orthodox. Now they
[25:13] Speaker 2: made debate issues vigorously, but they're secondary issues on a
[25:18] Speaker 2: central Christian doctrine. They take a thoroughly orthodox position. So yeah,
[25:24] Speaker 2: I think the problem is that Ellen G. White, her teachings,
[25:29] Speaker 2: particularly with respect to the investigative judgment, are simply wrong.
[25:33] Speaker 2: They're wrong headed. She's been demonstrated to be a false
[25:36] Speaker 2: prophet because she made prophecies that did not come to pass.
[25:40] Speaker 2: So I think that I prefer those who appreciate her
[25:45] Speaker 2: for what she had to offer, but do not make
[25:47] Speaker 2: her the sole authority or profit on which they base
[25:52] Speaker 2: their life, that they rather take what she says and
[25:55] Speaker 2: tested in light a scripture, hold fast to that which
[25:58] Speaker 2: is good. I've written about this in the Complete Bible
