[0:07] Speaker 1: From the Christian Research Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina. You
[0:11] Speaker 1: are listening to the best of the Bible answer Man
[0:13] Speaker 1: broadcast with Hank Cantagraph. We're on the air because life
[0:17] Speaker 1: and truth matter. The mission of the Christian Research Institute
[0:22] Speaker 1: is to equip believers to answer life's essential questions soundly
[0:26] Speaker 1: and persuasively, and to give the reason for the hope
[0:29] Speaker 1: that you have with gentleness and respect. For more information,
[0:34] Speaker 1: go online to equip dot org. The following program was
[0:38] Speaker 1: pre recorded and now here's Bible answer Man host Hank Canagraph.
[0:44] Speaker 2: Thank you much, Rendy. We start today with the words
[0:46] Speaker 2: the apostle Paul in one Corinthians, chapter fifteen. If Christ
[0:52] Speaker 2: has not been raised, our preaching is useless, and so
[0:57] Speaker 2: is your faith. More than that, we're then found to
[1:02] Speaker 2: be false witnesses about God. For we have testified about
[1:06] Speaker 2: God that he raised Christ from the dead, but he
[1:10] Speaker 2: didn't raise him if in fact, the dead are not raised.
[1:13] Speaker 2: For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has
[1:18] Speaker 2: not been raised either. And if Christ has not been raised,
[1:22] Speaker 2: your faith is feutile. You are still in your sins.
[1:28] Speaker 2: Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost.
[1:34] Speaker 2: If only for this life we have hope in Christ,
[1:38] Speaker 2: we are to be pitied more than all men. In
[1:45] Speaker 2: other words, if devoteys of the Kingdom, of the cults,
[1:50] Speaker 2: adherents of world religions, liberal scholars, if they're all correct,
[1:58] Speaker 2: the Biblical account of the resurrection is fiction, fantasy, or worse,
[2:05] Speaker 2: it's just a Gargitian fraud. If, on the other hand,
[2:12] Speaker 2: the resurrection is factually reliable, it constitutes the greatest feat
[2:23] Speaker 2: in human history. The point is simply this. The resurrection
[2:28] Speaker 2: of Jesus Christ is not merely important to the historic
[2:32] Speaker 2: Christian faith. Without it, there would be no Christian faith.
[2:38] Speaker 2: In fact, Paul goes so far as to say, if
[2:40] Speaker 2: the dead are not raised, eat, drink, for tomorrow we die.
[2:48] Speaker 2: The physical resurrection constitutes the capstone of our faith. Without
[2:56] Speaker 2: the resurrection, Christianity crumbles. And therefore, as those who take
[3:02] Speaker 2: the sacred name of Christ upon their lips, we must
[3:05] Speaker 2: be prepared to defend the historicity of the resurrection. A
[3:11] Speaker 2: lot of you hanging on. We'll go right to the
[3:12] Speaker 2: phone lines. First up, Teresa, she's listening in Oklahoma. Hi.
[3:16] Speaker 3: Teresa, Hi, I wanted to ask you if you believe
[3:20] Speaker 3: that God created the earth and all in it in
[3:23] Speaker 3: seven literal days, or if you kind of translate it
[3:27] Speaker 3: into thousands of years.
[3:29] Speaker 2: Or well, that's an interesting question. I think that one
[3:34] Speaker 2: of the things that we have to recognize is that
[3:37] Speaker 2: the Book of Genesis is a literary artistic masterpiece in
[3:43] Speaker 2: a lot of different ways. First, you have a mnemonic
[3:46] Speaker 2: device by which you can remember the creative prowess of
[3:50] Speaker 2: God every single day of the week, So that you
[3:54] Speaker 2: have two triads which are memorable, which course respond to
[4:00] Speaker 2: one another in a literated fashion, that you can remember
[4:05] Speaker 2: as a mnemonic device each day of the week. I
[4:08] Speaker 2: think that in itself is profound. Secondly, I think that
[4:13] Speaker 2: you have to recognize that all of Genesis is written
[4:16] Speaker 2: in such a way that you can remember it with
[4:18] Speaker 2: ten fingers of your hand, so that the genealogical construction
[4:23] Speaker 2: and the people mentioned are mentioned in such a way
[4:27] Speaker 2: that you can remember God's creative prowess as well as
[4:32] Speaker 2: the foundation of the entire biblical text, out of which
[4:36] Speaker 2: comes an ongoing plan of redemption culminating in a new
[4:40] Speaker 2: Heaven and a new Earth wherein dwells righteousness. My point
[4:45] Speaker 2: here is to say that I do not think that
[4:48] Speaker 2: Genesis chapter one is designed to give you a chronology
[4:55] Speaker 2: of creation, but rather to give you a hierarchy of Creator,
[5:01] Speaker 2: ultimately culminating in a new creation. So I think if
[5:05] Speaker 2: you want to answer the age question, you're better off
[5:08] Speaker 2: going to God's other book, which is the Book of Nature.
[5:12] Speaker 2: I don't think that Genesis is intended to give you
[5:15] Speaker 2: a timeframe.
[5:17] Speaker 4: So you don't think we should look at nature and
[5:20] Speaker 4: use the Genesis account as a starting point and interpret
[5:26] Speaker 4: nature based on a Genesis account. You think we should
[5:28] Speaker 4: use nature to interpret Genesis.
[5:31] Speaker 2: No, No, I wouldn't say that at all. I think
[5:33] Speaker 2: that you have to employ the art and science of
[5:37] Speaker 2: biblical interpretation to rightly interpret the Genesis account of creation.
[5:43] Speaker 2: You need to be able to read the Bible for
[5:45] Speaker 2: all it's worth. For example, when you get to Genesis
[5:48] Speaker 2: chapter three and you see that the serpent is tempting Eve,
[5:55] Speaker 2: and then later you see how the serpent suffers as
[6:03] Speaker 2: a result of his temptation, and how Christ forever puts
[6:08] Speaker 2: enmity between the seed of the woman, you see immediately
[6:14] Speaker 2: how powerful the text is, and you don't want to
[6:18] Speaker 2: minimize the power of the text by supposing that Jesus
[6:21] Speaker 2: Christ crushed the power of the evil one by stepping
[6:24] Speaker 2: on the head of a snake. You want to take
[6:27] Speaker 2: the text and read it in the sense in which
[6:30] Speaker 2: it's intended, and so I don't in any way say
[6:34] Speaker 2: that you want to take some kind of minimalist approach
[6:38] Speaker 2: to the interpretation of the Book of Genesis. No, you
[6:41] Speaker 2: need to learn to read it for all it's worth.
[6:44] Speaker 2: Thank you, You're welcome. I appreciate your call. I want
[6:47] Speaker 2: to go right back to the phone lines. Eric, he's
[6:50] Speaker 2: listening on the web in Finley, Ohio.
[6:53] Speaker 5: Hi, Eric II, haig to take my call pleasure.
[6:57] Speaker 6: I guess I had a question on Orthodox Judaism. Is
[7:02] Speaker 6: it the same religion as your Testament, because I've heard
[7:05] Speaker 6: some people say that it's based on the Talmud now
[7:08] Speaker 6: or some other Jewish weddings.
[7:10] Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, let me give you a sort of a
[7:12] Speaker 2: brief overview. If you look at Orthodox Judaism in general,
[7:17] Speaker 2: you'll find it referred to as Torah Judaism because it's
[7:21] Speaker 2: known for a strict dedication to the eternal and unalterable,
[7:27] Speaker 2: at least from their perspective, mosaic law that is reinterpreted
[7:32] Speaker 2: by the rabbi subsequent to the fall of Jerusalem. So
[7:35] Speaker 2: in this view, only through devotion to a complex code
[7:40] Speaker 2: of Jewish law can you experience being near or close
[7:46] Speaker 2: to God. So if you're an Orthodox Jew, you're awaiting
[7:49] Speaker 2: a rebuild temple, a Jewish Messiah who restore the Kingdom
[7:53] Speaker 2: to Israel, and the physical resurrection of the debt. Of course,
[7:57] Speaker 2: I should add to that that unorthodox jew doesn't necessarily
[8:03] Speaker 2: even believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
[8:07] Speaker 2: And that's why I think it's a far better moniker
[8:11] Speaker 2: to use Torah Judaism than Orthodox Judaism because you don't
[8:17] Speaker 2: necessarily have to be Orthodox and the strict understanding of
[8:20] Speaker 2: the word.
[8:23] Speaker 6: Okay, thank you, that helped me a lot. Appreciate Hank, Hey.
[8:26] Speaker 2: You got it. Thank you so much for your call.
[8:28] Speaker 2: I want to go back to the phone lines. Talctor
[8:30] Speaker 2: Laura in Bonton, Illinois, Hi Laura, Hi.
[8:33] Speaker 3: Han, good afternoon.
[8:34] Speaker 7: My question for you is I have a son who
[8:38] Speaker 7: is severely disabled and both mentically and physically, and I
[8:44] Speaker 7: believe that I know in my heart that he has
[8:51] Speaker 7: God within him. But I was just wondering if there
[8:55] Speaker 7: was any kind where the scriptures are that could lead
[8:58] Speaker 7: me to that Erk has inner peace there.
[9:04] Speaker 2: Well, I think the first thing with respect to Eric
[9:07] Speaker 2: that you have to recognize, Laura, is that the Lord
[9:11] Speaker 2: Jesus Christ is never going to turn anyone away in
[9:16] Speaker 2: some capricious fashion. As though here you are, you don't
[9:20] Speaker 2: have particular sensibilities about you such that you are able
[9:25] Speaker 2: to understand things with precise clarity, and because of that,
[9:29] Speaker 2: I'm going to exclude you from the kingdom. The only
[9:32] Speaker 2: people that are excluded from the kingdom are those who
[9:36] Speaker 2: do not want a relationship with God, and therefore God
[9:40] Speaker 2: gives them what they want, which is separation from Him
[9:44] Speaker 2: for all eternity. So what you can rest in with
[9:48] Speaker 2: complete assurance is that the Lord Jesus Christ loves Eric,
[9:54] Speaker 2: that the Lord Jesus Christ has a relationship with Eric,
[9:57] Speaker 2: and that Eric will spend eternity with his Lord and
[10:01] Speaker 2: Savior Jesus Christ. Why because what you can depend on
[10:06] Speaker 2: is the nature of God, who reveals himself in the
[10:11] Speaker 2: pages of Scripture. He's a God of infinite love and
[10:15] Speaker 2: infinite mercy, and he's not going to turn someone away
[10:20] Speaker 2: because they have a physical or a mental malady. In fact,
[10:25] Speaker 2: what he's going to do is completely restore those maladies.
[10:29] Speaker 2: And that's why we often say that Christianity doesn't give
[10:33] Speaker 2: us a peaceful way to come to terms with the
[10:35] Speaker 2: difficulties of life. It gives us something far greater, a
[10:37] Speaker 2: way to overcome them through the power of Christ resurrection.
[10:42] Speaker 7: Yeah, all right, well, thank you very much for your time.
[10:45] Speaker 2: Thank you, You've got it. Laura, listens to you and
[10:48] Speaker 2: your family. We'll be right back with more than by
[10:50] Speaker 2: lancemen broadcast. Please don't touch that dial.
[10:53] Speaker 1: Has Jesus Christ returned to Earth as a woman? Eastern Lightning,
[10:58] Speaker 1: also called the Church of All Mighty God, claims a
[11:01] Speaker 1: Chinese woman is the reincarnated Christ, Almighty God and the
[11:05] Speaker 1: fulfillment of Jesus's olivet discourse. This cult is doctrinally deviant
[11:11] Speaker 1: and socially subversive. It masquerades as a persecuted Christian movement
[11:16] Speaker 1: while exploiting Western sympathy to spread its destructive dogmas. Don't

[11:50] Speaker 1: The Bible answer Man broadcast will return in just a
[11:53] Speaker 1: few moments. The number of wolves surrounding the Christian flock
[12:03] Speaker 1: is growing, and they relish nothing more than docile's sheep,
[12:07] Speaker 1: utterly incapable of defending themselves from militant secularists at home
[12:12] Speaker 1: to militant Islamists abroad. The assaults on Biblical Christianity are
[12:16] Speaker 1: growing dangerously, but Christian Research Institutes Support Team members aren't
[12:21] Speaker 1: in favor of feeding these wolves. Instead, each day they're
[12:25] Speaker 1: making possible an array of outreaches that defang these wolfpacks
[12:30] Speaker 1: with solid arguments and evidence that have stood the test
[12:33] Speaker 1: of time. What's more, support Team members are equipping themselves

[13:08] Speaker 1: Scripture merely human in origin? Or are they in fact,
[13:11] Speaker 1: the very words of God himself. Three years in the
[13:16] Speaker 1: making and based on two decades of research and reflection,
[13:20] Speaker 1: Hank Henagraph's monumental book Has God Spoken answers what is
[13:24] Speaker 1: surely the most important question facing our world. In Has
[13:28] Speaker 1: God Spoken, Memorable proofs of the Bible's Divine inspiration, Hank
[13:33] Speaker 1: counters the contentions of the Bible attackers and clearly shows
[13:36] Speaker 1: that belief in the Holy Scriptures is not a guess
[13:39] Speaker 1: or wishful thinking. It is the only logical conclusion after

[14:01] Speaker 8: Truth Matters, Life Matters More details Hank Hanigraff's personal pilgrimage
[14:06] Speaker 8: from his long defensive truth to his discovery that life
[14:09] Speaker 8: matters more. Essentially, two books in one. Part one equips
[14:13] Speaker 8: Christians to defend the essential truths of the historic Christian faith.
[14:17] Speaker 8: Part two explains why truth is necessary but hardly sufficient.
[14:21] Speaker 8: That the map is not the territory, the menu is
[14:24] Speaker 8: not the meal. We are created to experience life to
[14:27] Speaker 8: the full through union with God in Christ. Is there
[14:31] Speaker 8: more to the Christian life than what you are experiencing?

[15:07] Speaker 1: Well, let's return to your host and canagraph.
[15:10] Speaker 2: Thank you very much, Randian, or right back to our
[15:12] Speaker 2: phone callers, And next up is Derek listening on the
[15:15] Speaker 2: web in Indianapolis, Indiana. Hi, Derek, Hi, I'm.
[15:19] Speaker 9: Calling about SIM thirty four seventeen. It says the righteous
[15:22] Speaker 9: quir and the Lord hears and delivers no matter all
[15:24] Speaker 9: their troubles. I want to know, is that for Christians
[15:27] Speaker 9: of the present or the future, Because I know that
[15:31] Speaker 9: Psalm's twenty two was for the future and not for
[15:35] Speaker 9: David how the High I understand that no.
[15:38] Speaker 2: No, this very directly involves believers. The righteous cry out
[15:45] Speaker 2: and the Lord hears them. He delivers them from all
[15:49] Speaker 2: their troubles. And that's contrasted with the verse that comes before.
[15:53] Speaker 2: The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and
[15:55] Speaker 2: his ears are attentive to their cry. The face of
[15:59] Speaker 2: the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut
[16:03] Speaker 2: off the memory of them from the earth. So the
[16:07] Speaker 2: unrighteous are cut off. The righteous cry out, and they
[16:13] Speaker 2: are delivered. Now, that does not mean that you're going
[16:16] Speaker 2: to be delivered from all trouble in this world. In fact,
[16:21] Speaker 2: Christ said the inverse. He said, in this world you
[16:24] Speaker 2: will have trouble. But take heart, I have overcome the
[16:29] Speaker 2: world through the overcomer Jesus Christ. We too will overcome,
[16:35] Speaker 2: and in the ultimate sense, we will be delivered from death, destruction, disease,
[16:42] Speaker 2: and decay. And so we long for what we do
[16:47] Speaker 2: not yet have. We earnestly anticipate and expect it, because
[16:54] Speaker 2: this is indeed the promise of God for every believer
[17:00] Speaker 2: who is in the Overcomer Jesus Christ.
[17:03] Speaker 9: Okay, so, and this doesn't have any I think this
[17:06] Speaker 9: is is tom twenty two. Did David actually did he not?
[17:10] Speaker 9: Was pierced in the hands, in the feet and stuff
[17:13] Speaker 9: like that?
[17:14] Speaker 2: Right? Psalm twenty two is clearly Messianic. As many of
[17:18] Speaker 2: the psalms are, they either are directly Messianic or they
[17:22] Speaker 2: have Messianic overtones. But here you have a messianic psalm
[17:29] Speaker 2: that speaks directly to what is going to happen in
[17:34] Speaker 2: the end to Jesus Christ. So the Messianic overtone is clear,
[17:40] Speaker 2: and it's clear in a number of different ways. On
[17:42] Speaker 2: the Cross, when Jesus Christ says Eli Eli lama syboctany,
[17:45] Speaker 2: My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me? He
[17:48] Speaker 2: draws attention to the entirety that text fulfilled in his
[17:53] Speaker 2: own body, ultimately on the tree in his passion. But
[17:58] Speaker 2: we see that in this psalm there is deliverance which
[18:03] Speaker 2: is whole and complete. In other words, this is not
[18:07] Speaker 2: about separation in the Godhead. Rather, this is about Christ,
[18:15] Speaker 2: the sin bearer, the spotless lamb forever God, separating us
[18:23] Speaker 2: from our sin. For the text itself says, for he
[18:27] Speaker 2: has not despised or disdained the suffering of the afflicted one.
[18:33] Speaker 2: He has not hidden his face from him, but has
[18:36] Speaker 2: listened to his try for help. This is true in
[18:40] Speaker 2: an earthly sense with David, but in the ultimate sense
[18:43] Speaker 2: it is true of Jesus Christ himself.
[18:46] Speaker 9: Okay, thank you, you got it.
[18:48] Speaker 2: Thank you very much for your call. Back to the
[18:49] Speaker 2: phone lines. We'll talk next to Scott listening on Ohio.
[18:53] Speaker 2: Hi Scott, Hi, Hank.
[18:55] Speaker 5: How are you, sir?
[18:56] Speaker 2: I'm good, Thank you great.
[18:58] Speaker 5: I just wanted to tell you I enjoy your program.
[19:00] Speaker 5: Your explanations are very clear, and I appreciate the job
[19:03] Speaker 5: you do. I had a question about where the Bible
[19:06] Speaker 5: speaks about reprobate mind. I know that it's in Romans
[19:11] Speaker 5: one twenty eight, if I'm not mistaken, and I just
[19:15] Speaker 5: was wondering if you can talk about that a little bit,
[19:18] Speaker 5: and I think it's in the book somewhere else where
[19:21] Speaker 5: it says God turned them over to a reprobate mind.
[19:25] Speaker 5: Maybe you can just help me out with that a
[19:27] Speaker 5: little bit. It's really my mom wants to know, and
[19:30] Speaker 5: I kind of know, but I would I would love
[19:32] Speaker 5: to hear your explanation.
[19:34] Speaker 2: Well, you know, God allows these people perversions, and those
[19:41] Speaker 2: perversions ultimately run the natural course in their lives and
[19:47] Speaker 2: as such become an active judgment. In other words, they've
[19:53] Speaker 2: given themselves over to sensuality in this context, just as
[19:59] Speaker 2: we also see in Ephesians chapter four. And therefore they
[20:04] Speaker 2: have put themselves beyond salvation, not that they can't be saved,
[20:11] Speaker 2: but that they have hardened their heart like Pharaoh. And
[20:16] Speaker 2: mercy has become the occasioning for the hardening of their heart,
[20:21] Speaker 2: because every time God gives them grace, they respond in disobedience,
[20:27] Speaker 2: and so their heart becomes hardened, and eventually they're given
[20:32] Speaker 2: over to a depraved mind. And I can think of
[20:35] Speaker 2: some modern day people who seem to fit that category
[20:41] Speaker 2: as they rail against God in their lack of understanding.
[20:47] Speaker 5: Right, Okay, in real quick, kay, if you can just
[20:52] Speaker 5: I'm sorry I had another question, but you can just
[20:54] Speaker 5: touch on it for a minute if you can, about
[20:57] Speaker 5: how does a man know when he's been called to preach?
[21:03] Speaker 2: Well, we've all been called to preach. We've not all
[21:05] Speaker 2: been called to be preachers, but we've all been called
[21:08] Speaker 2: to preach. We've been all called as proclaimers of the Gospel.
[21:12] Speaker 2: And I think the real issue here is very much
[21:15] Speaker 2: like the gifts that we have is delineated in Romans
[21:18] Speaker 2: chapter twelve. Some people have the gift of prophecy, some
[21:23] Speaker 2: people have the gift of teaching, some people have the
[21:26] Speaker 2: gift of serving. Some people have the gift of giving.
[21:30] Speaker 2: Some people have the gift of leadership, some people of
[21:33] Speaker 2: the gift of mercy. So we have different gifts according
[21:37] Speaker 2: to the grace given us, and we have to exercise
[21:40] Speaker 2: the gifts that God has given us. Now we can
[21:43] Speaker 2: look at this two different ways. The gift of giving
[21:45] Speaker 2: is the most easy to understand example, which is to
[21:48] Speaker 2: say that there are people who have the gift of giving,
[21:51] Speaker 2: but giving is yet the responsibility of all people. The
[21:55] Speaker 2: same thing is true with preaching with respect to Christians,
[21:59] Speaker 2: and preach could be classified as prophesying very correctly, not
[22:04] Speaker 2: only in the context of Romans twelve, but the context
[22:06] Speaker 2: of First Corinthes chapter fourteen. So every believer is called
[22:11] Speaker 2: to prophesy, to proclaim the word of God, and we
[22:16] Speaker 2: do that to edify people, to encourage people, to equip people,
[22:20] Speaker 2: to exhort people. So it is the calling of every person.
[22:24] Speaker 2: Now some people are called to make that their full
[22:30] Speaker 2: time occupation. They become a leading one, as it were,
[22:33] Speaker 2: within the church, and through the gifting that they have
[22:37] Speaker 2: as a leading one, they along with the other coworkers,
[22:42] Speaker 2: because no one's elevated above anyone else can work for
[22:45] Speaker 2: the strengthening of the Body of Christ so that it
[22:48] Speaker 2: reaches full maturity.
[22:51] Speaker 5: Okay, So if I feel like the Lord has led
[22:55] Speaker 5: me to be a preacher and that he is forever
[22:59] Speaker 5: laying it on my heart these messages so to speak,
[23:05] Speaker 5: I mean, they just come to me all the time
[23:07] Speaker 5: and to me and my own heart. I feel like
[23:11] Speaker 5: He's calling me to preach, to be a preacher.
[23:14] Speaker 2: Well, what a blessing. So study to show yourself approved
[23:17] Speaker 2: a workman that need not blush with embarrassment rightly discerning
[23:21] Speaker 2: the word of truth. I mean, what a great thing
[23:23] Speaker 2: that you have this calling. And when you have a calling.
[23:27] Speaker 2: The answer to whether this is a calling indeed or
[23:31] Speaker 2: a calling that you think is a calling is like
[23:34] Speaker 2: a ship. You don't stay in the harbor. You move out,
[23:38] Speaker 2: and God's going to open the door farther, or he
[23:40] Speaker 2: is going to start closing the door, or to use
[23:43] Speaker 2: the ship metaphor, he's going to put you out to see,
[23:45] Speaker 2: or he's going to leave you in the harbor. He's
[23:47] Speaker 2: going to shut the door to the wide open seats.
[23:50] Speaker 2: So I think what you want to do is move
[23:52] Speaker 2: forward with the calling that you sense, and likely God
[23:56] Speaker 2: will continue to open doors so that you can use
[23:59] Speaker 2: the gifting God has given you for his glory and
[24:02] Speaker 2: for the extension of His kingdom.
[24:03] Speaker 5: Yep Okay, that helped a lot. I appreciate it.
[24:07] Speaker 2: You got it. Thanks for your call back the phone lines.
[24:10] Speaker 2: Talk to John in Cleveland, Ohio.
[24:13] Speaker 10: Hi John, Hi, hank an honor and a pleasure.
[24:16] Speaker 2: Nice to talk to you.
[24:17] Speaker 10: Thank you for allowing me to partay in your magnificent ministry.
[24:24] Speaker 10: Bless younk. How are Jews judged in terms of death
[24:30] Speaker 10: the modern day Jews? Is it like they were in
[24:34] Speaker 10: the in the Bible, in the Gospel, whether they be
[24:36] Speaker 10: judged as a stick napped rebellious people.
[24:40] Speaker 2: Well, remember that everyone is judged by God faithfully, righteously, justly,
[24:50] Speaker 2: as a God of love and a God of justice,
[24:54] Speaker 2: and that it is not a matter of whether you're
[24:56] Speaker 2: a Jew, or whether you are Much, or whether you're English.
[25:01] Speaker 2: Should say, ultimately a matter of whether you have a
[25:04] Speaker 2: relationship with Yahweh, the God of Israel. And that's why Ruth,
[25:07] Speaker 2: a Moabite, was judged to be true Israel because she
[25:12] Speaker 2: followed Yahweh, the God of Israel. So wasn't a matter
[25:15] Speaker 2: of whether you're a Jew, or whether you're a gentile,
[25:19] Speaker 2: or whether you're a Moabite or a Philistine. If you
[25:22] Speaker 2: believed in God, then you are counted as true Israel.
[25:25] Speaker 2: If you did not, then you were judged as all
[25:28] Speaker 2: those who are not of their father but of their father,
[25:33] Speaker 2: the Devil. So you either have an opportunity of speaking
[25:38] Speaker 2: to your heavenly father, who created all things, or you
[25:41] Speaker 2: are of your father, the Devil. And that is true
[25:44] Speaker 2: whether you're a Jew or you are of any other nationality,
[25:47] Speaker 2: because ultimately it's not your ethnicity or your genealogy, it's
[25:51] Speaker 2: your relationship to the Son of God.
[25:54] Speaker 9: My goodness. Okay, thank you, you got it.
