[0:07] Speaker 1: From the Christian Research Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina. You
[0:11] Speaker 1: are listening to the best of the Bible answer Man
[0:13] Speaker 1: broadcast with Hank Cantagraph. We're on the air because life
[0:17] Speaker 1: and truth matter. The mission of the Christian Research Institute
[0:22] Speaker 1: is to equip believers to answer life's essential questions soundly
[0:26] Speaker 1: and persuasively, and to give the reason for the hope
[0:29] Speaker 1: that you have with gentleness and respect. For more information,
[0:34] Speaker 1: go online to equip dot org. The following program was
[0:38] Speaker 1: pre recorded and now here's Bible answer Man host Hank Canagraph.
[0:44] Speaker 2: Thank you very much, Randy, a lot of you hanging on.
[0:46] Speaker 2: I'll go to the phone lines. Doctor Jason listening on
[0:49] Speaker 2: the web, Raleigh, North Carolina. Hi Jason, Hi Hank, Thanks
[0:52] Speaker 2: taking my call, my pleasure.
[0:53] Speaker 3: I am very much on board with what the Christian
[0:56] Speaker 3: researchers to teach us about the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
[0:59] Speaker 3: Have a lot of Christian friends are now asking me questions.
[1:02] Speaker 3: You know, they're trying to learn more about their faith,
[1:04] Speaker 3: and fortunately for them, they're coming to me. I try
[1:07] Speaker 3: and push them to your website, but I'm curious. I'm
[1:10] Speaker 3: trying to read through the book as fast as I can,
[1:12] Speaker 3: but your book on Revelations in the end time propheties,
[1:16] Speaker 3: but I don't understand the new Heaven and New Earth passage,
[1:19] Speaker 3: and I don't understand the pastage talking about how you
[1:22] Speaker 3: know the the vizor rise about the grays, Are they
[1:24] Speaker 3: in fact contextually referring to what you think they would
[1:27] Speaker 3: or something else?
[1:29] Speaker 2: Well, a couple of things. We always want to interpret
[1:32] Speaker 2: the cloudy in light of that which is crystal clear.
[1:36] Speaker 2: And Christ made it crystal clear that a time was
[1:38] Speaker 2: coming when all who are in the grays will come out.
[1:40] Speaker 2: Some are rise to live, and some are rise to
[1:43] Speaker 2: be condemned. And that's precisely what the New Jerusalem is
[1:47] Speaker 2: talking about in Revelation chapter twenty one, where John says,
[1:51] Speaker 2: I saw a new Heaven and a new Earth, for
[1:54] Speaker 2: the first heaven first Earth had passed away, and there
[1:57] Speaker 2: was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City,
[2:01] Speaker 2: the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,
[2:05] Speaker 2: prepared as a bride, beautifully dressed for her husband. And
[2:08] Speaker 2: then I heard a loud voice from the throne saying,
[2:12] Speaker 2: and this is the operative passage. Now the dwelling of
[2:17] Speaker 2: God is with men, and he will live with them.
[2:22] Speaker 2: They will be as people, and God himself will be
[2:24] Speaker 2: their God, and he will wipe every tear from their eyes.
[2:29] Speaker 2: There'll be no more death or mourning or crying or pain,
[2:32] Speaker 2: for the old order things has passed away. So what
[2:36] Speaker 2: you have with a new Jerusalem is a metaphor a
[2:39] Speaker 2: picture language meant to communicate what paradise regained will look like,
[2:48] Speaker 2: what it will be like when God himself walks in
[2:52] Speaker 2: the cool of the day again, as he once did
[2:55] Speaker 2: with Adam and Eve. It is a picture of paradise
[2:59] Speaker 2: lost being recovered, restored, resurrected. The earth now groans in travail,
[3:08] Speaker 2: awaiting its liberation from bondage to decay. So to our bodies,
[3:14] Speaker 2: they're groaning in travail, awaiting to be resurrected, immortal, imperishable, incorruptible.
[3:22] Speaker 2: And when the Lord appears a second time, that is
[3:24] Speaker 2: precisely what will happen. So the dead, who have already
[3:30] Speaker 2: gone on before us are absent from the body present
[3:34] Speaker 2: with the Lord. But when Christ returns, their souls return
[3:37] Speaker 2: to resurrected bodies, and they live in a resurrected universe
[3:42] Speaker 2: with a resurrected Lord, and they learn and grow and
[3:47] Speaker 2: develop without error. The notion that first there's going to
[3:51] Speaker 2: be a rapture of two hundred million, and then there's
[3:56] Speaker 2: going to be a second coming of Jesus Christ, and
[3:59] Speaker 2: then there's going to be a restoration. All of that
[4:04] Speaker 2: is simply convoluted and wrong.
[4:07] Speaker 3: I appreciate your answers so concise as it always is.
[4:10] Speaker 3: I live as if the Lord is going to come
[4:12] Speaker 3: back any day, and I don't take a date.
[4:14] Speaker 2: And that's exactly right. And Jason, what you have just
[4:17] Speaker 2: said needs to be underscored and read. We're all one
[4:20] Speaker 2: heart beat away from eternity, and we should live our
[4:25] Speaker 2: lives as though Christ could come this very moment, because
[4:28] Speaker 2: he could, but we should also prepare as though his
[4:33] Speaker 2: coming is a long way off, and all these people
[4:36] Speaker 2: that are praying Lord come quickly. In some ways there's
[4:40] Speaker 2: a precedent for that, but in others you might well say, Lord,
[4:45] Speaker 2: we have not been faithful. Give us just a little
[4:49] Speaker 2: more time to prepare ourselves to be ambassadors, always ready
[4:55] Speaker 2: to give an answer or reason for the hope that
[4:57] Speaker 2: lies within us, with gentleness and with respect. Because if
[5:00] Speaker 2: the Lord would come this very moment, think about people
[5:04] Speaker 2: within your own sphere of influence who do not as
[5:07] Speaker 2: yet know him. We need to get busy about the
[5:11] Speaker 2: work of the kingdom. We're busy about everything except the
[5:14] Speaker 2: work of the kingdom all too often.
[5:17] Speaker 3: Yes, sir, I appreciate it.
[5:18] Speaker 2: Thank you, you got it. Back to the phone lines,
[5:20] Speaker 2: Daniel listening on the web, Brooklyn, New York.
[5:23] Speaker 3: Hi, Daniel, Hello, Hank, thank you for taking my call.
[5:26] Speaker 4: Pleasure is a lifetime jail sentence grounds for divorce even
[5:31] Speaker 4: with the vows for better or for worse in conjugal visits.
[5:35] Speaker 2: Well, that's a hard question to answer, but let me
[5:37] Speaker 2: give the answer to you in principle. First of all,
[5:41] Speaker 2: let me emphasize the radical concept of marriage. Christians must
[5:47] Speaker 2: reconcile themselves to this notion, and that is God's call
[5:52] Speaker 2: to holiness, and marriage trumps their own pursuit of happiness.
[6:00] Speaker 2: So if that's for in your mind or in the
[6:04] Speaker 2: front of your mind, it ends up trumping a lot
[6:08] Speaker 2: of hypothetical situations. But having said that, there are I
[6:16] Speaker 2: think circumstances that rise to the same level as adultery
[6:21] Speaker 2: and wilful desertion, which are irrepairable violations of covenant love.
[6:28] Speaker 2: In other words, there are sins against marriage that could
[6:32] Speaker 2: rise to the same level of covenant unfaithfulness as the
[6:37] Speaker 2: two exceptions that we have in First Corinthians chapter seven
[6:41] Speaker 2: in Matthew chapter nineteen, and that could be a whole
[6:45] Speaker 2: list of things, including unrepentant addiction to pornography, engagement in
[6:52] Speaker 2: the occult, spiritual actions that are harmful to the family.
[6:59] Speaker 2: All of these could be argued are violations of the
[7:03] Speaker 2: marriage covenant and therefore biblical grounds for divorce, even though
[7:08] Speaker 2: they're not specifically named in the New Testament. But rather
[7:13] Speaker 2: than simply making a knee jerk reaction on these kinds
[7:17] Speaker 2: of things, it's important to get biblical counsel with regard
[7:24] Speaker 2: to specific circumstances. It took four parties to get into
[7:28] Speaker 2: a marriage. It took a husband, it took a wife,
[7:31] Speaker 2: it took the state, and it took the church. And
[7:34] Speaker 2: I think to break the covenant vow to actually divorce
[7:41] Speaker 2: in the secular arena requires counsel from the church, and
[7:48] Speaker 2: it requires being on your knees as a husband and
[7:52] Speaker 2: a wife. Because this is one of the most serious
[7:56] Speaker 2: issues imaginable in the Christian world. We're talking about the
[8:01] Speaker 2: rendering a sunder of a family that is the unit
[8:07] Speaker 2: of society, in violent in the eyes of God, critical
[8:14] Speaker 2: to the fabric of civilization, and therefore we cannot take
[8:20] Speaker 2: these things lightly. Divorce is always a function of the
[8:26] Speaker 2: hardness of human hearts, and that is why there was
[8:31] Speaker 2: a writ of divorce given in the first place. It
[8:35] Speaker 2: was because of the hardness of the human heart. And
[8:40] Speaker 2: we are called as believers not to look for escape clauses,
[8:47] Speaker 2: but rather to commit ourselves to marriage. That's the whole point.
[8:52] Speaker 2: If you look at the grounds given in the Bible
[8:55] Speaker 2: for divorce, they're given within a context where men are
[9:00] Speaker 2: putting away women for any or every reason, and as
[9:06] Speaker 2: a result, women became chattel property of men, and the
[9:11] Speaker 2: Bible within that context says, no, that's not the way
[9:15] Speaker 2: God intended to be. As a result of Biblical principles
[9:20] Speaker 2: that make women onto logically equal to men, Western society formed,
[9:26] Speaker 2: as it were, the most powerful females in the history
[9:30] Speaker 2: of humanity because they followed the Biblical principles and priorities. Today, unfortunately,
[9:38] Speaker 2: many of those same women are walking back into shackles
[9:41] Speaker 2: under the guise of liberation, which is not liberation. Indeed,
[9:47] Speaker 2: back to our phone callers. Next up is Andy. He's
[9:50] Speaker 2: listening in Lincoln, Nebraska. Hi. Andy, Oh, how's it going good?
[9:55] Speaker 5: Her? Are you good? My question is through your abortion,
[10:01] Speaker 5: if the mother, if her life is in jeopardy, is
[10:04] Speaker 5: there scripture speak to whether it's proper to take the
[10:07] Speaker 5: baby's life under those circumstances or not.
[10:10] Speaker 2: Well, the basic principle is this abortion is the painful
[10:14] Speaker 2: killing of an innocent human being, someone that does not
[10:17] Speaker 2: deserve capital punishment, but rather deserves protection. But if you
[10:23] Speaker 2: have a situation, by the way, the situation that you
[10:26] Speaker 2: are postulating here is a very rare situation. But if
[10:31] Speaker 2: you are faced with that kind of a situation where
[10:35] Speaker 2: you're going to lose two lives, if you don't have
[10:39] Speaker 2: an abortion, then obviously the greater Good principle kicks in.
[10:43] Speaker 2: That makes common sense as well as biblical sense. So
[10:47] Speaker 2: if you're going to lose both mother and child, then
[10:50] Speaker 2: it makes sense to save the mother. But again, I
[10:53] Speaker 2: would say that is almost hypothetical from a statistical standpoint.
[10:57] Speaker 2: This is a very rare situation. Okay, thank you, you
[11:01] Speaker 2: got it, Thank you for your call. We'll be right back.
[11:03] Speaker 1: The famous British apologist GK. Chesterton once noted, the true
[11:08] Speaker 1: soldier fights not because he hates what is in front
[11:11] Speaker 1: of him, but because he loves what is behind him.
[11:13] Speaker 1: Because at CRII, we love what is behind us, our faith,
[11:17] Speaker 1: our families, and our freedoms. We will never retreat quietly
[11:21] Speaker 1: from the growing assaults on life and truth, even when
[11:24] Speaker 1: the costs are great. We will stand to join like
[11:28] Speaker 1: minded friends in making a difference at home and around

[11:50] Speaker 2: Stay with us.
[11:51] Speaker 1: Hank Canigraph will return in a few moments.
[12:01] Speaker 6: Hank Hannagraph has dedicated his life to defending truth because
[12:05] Speaker 6: truth matters. However, his life and ministry were radically transformed
[12:09] Speaker 6: by another three word phrase. Life matters more. Truth matters
[12:14] Speaker 6: because Christianity is rooted in history and evidence. Life matters
[12:18] Speaker 6: more because it is the experience of union with God.
[12:21] Speaker 6: The goal of Christian life is union with God. All
[12:24] Speaker 6: attempts to understand Christianity from a solely rational perspective put
[12:28] Speaker 6: us in danger of devolving into a transactional rather than
[12:31] Speaker 6: transformational relationship with God. Truth Matters, Life Matters More will
[12:36] Speaker 6: equip you to move beyond intellectually knowing about God to
[12:40] Speaker 6: experientially knowing Him in christ. To receive your copy of

[13:01] Speaker 1: Anyone who's been paying attention knows there's a war going on,
[13:04] Speaker 1: not just on traditional morality, civility, and decency, but even
[13:09] Speaker 1: more fundamentally on historic notions of truth. And the enemy
[13:12] Speaker 1: isn't just the onslaught of fake news, facilitated by a
[13:16] Speaker 1: post truth culture and turbocharged by growing legions of ideological
[13:20] Speaker 1: spind Doctors note the real enemies of truth range from
[13:24] Speaker 1: postmodernist convictions that there is no objective truth to militant
[13:28] Speaker 1: scientism that claims that only science can determine truth and
[13:32] Speaker 1: religion is little more than primitive superstitions. But CRI support
[13:37] Speaker 1: team members are not waving a white flag of surrender.

[14:10] Speaker 1: we do in this life, only unconditional love and joy
[14:13] Speaker 1: await us in the world to come. But our Lord
[14:16] Speaker 1: warned that while the gate to Hell is wide, the
[14:19] Speaker 1: road to it broad, and those who enter through it
[14:22] Speaker 1: are many, the gate is narrow and the way is
[14:25] Speaker 1: hard that leads to life, and those who find it
[14:27] Speaker 1: are few. Your generous support, let's Hank hanograph and see

[14:54] Speaker 1: that's equip dot org and now here's Hank canagraph.
[15:09] Speaker 2: There very much. Randy will go right back to our
[15:11] Speaker 2: phone callers. Next up, as Judy, she's listening in to below. Oklahoma,
[15:15] Speaker 2: Hi Judy.
[15:16] Speaker 7: Hi Hank. I listen to your charagrim every evening when
[15:22] Speaker 7: I come home from work, and I really enjoy listening
[15:27] Speaker 7: to you. But what I can't understand is about this
[15:31] Speaker 7: Book of Nature. I've never heard of it, and you're
[15:34] Speaker 7: the only person that I've ever heard mention it. What
[15:37] Speaker 7: is this book about? Who wrote it? And why do
[15:40] Speaker 7: we need to read it?
[15:42] Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, the Bible writes about the Book of Nature,
[15:45] Speaker 2: and here's how you read about this. In Psalms nineteen,
[15:51] Speaker 2: the heavens declare the glory of God. The skies proclaim
[15:57] Speaker 2: the work of his hands. Day after day. They pour
[16:02] Speaker 2: forth speech, night after night. They proclaim knowledge. There's no
[16:07] Speaker 2: speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their
[16:11] Speaker 2: words go out and to the ends of the world.
[16:16] Speaker 2: So the point in Scripture is plain. From the creation
[16:22] Speaker 2: of the world, God's invisible qualities, his eternal power, his
[16:28] Speaker 2: divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood from what
[16:34] Speaker 2: has been made, so that men are without excuse. This
[16:40] Speaker 2: is the thing that animated Western civilization. The Greeks believed
[16:47] Speaker 2: in reason. Augustine at the very embryonic stages of Western
[16:55] Speaker 2: civilization made clear that reason, apart from revelation, always ends
[17:02] Speaker 2: up in the blind ditch of ignorance. Reason must always
[17:08] Speaker 2: be augmented by revelation. And we have in scripture special revelation,
[17:17] Speaker 2: whereas in nature we have general revelation. And you see
[17:24] Speaker 2: both very beautifully depicted in the Psalms of David, particularly
[17:31] Speaker 2: as I just mentioned in Psalm nineteen. Let's go back
[17:34] Speaker 2: to the phone lines. Talk next to Lee listening on
[17:38] Speaker 2: the world Wide Web in Virginia.
[17:40] Speaker 8: High Lee, Okay, what's going on.
[17:42] Speaker 2: How you doing?
[17:44] Speaker 8: I'm doing good. I actually got through. I'm surprise as
[17:47] Speaker 8: I got through. I have a question. I was at
[17:51] Speaker 8: work and I'm having a discussion with one of my
[17:54] Speaker 8: coworkers about modern day apostles and profits. I wanted to
[17:57] Speaker 8: get your take on that.
[17:59] Speaker 2: Well, we have the Bible. It is the infallible repository
[18:04] Speaker 2: of redemptive revelation. And the Bible was written by the
[18:09] Speaker 2: apostles and the prophets, and those apostles and profits were
[18:15] Speaker 2: unique in human history. So those prophets and apostles will
[18:22] Speaker 2: never be restored in any sense in which we might
[18:26] Speaker 2: say there are super apostles or profits around today by
[18:30] Speaker 2: which we can receive revelation. No, we already have the
[18:35] Speaker 2: revelation by which we test all human revelation. The problem,
[18:41] Speaker 2: or I would say, even the bane of modern day controversialists,
[18:44] Speaker 2: is not only predicting the future, but also supposing that
[18:48] Speaker 2: we have modern day profits and apostles in our midst
[18:53] Speaker 2: and that their prophecies or their expositions are on horror
[19:00] Speaker 2: with the Word of God, and nothing could be farther
[19:02] Speaker 2: from the truth. We must always test their revelations in
[19:07] Speaker 2: light of the revelation we have already received.
[19:10] Speaker 8: Hmm, that's kind of how I felt. I kind of
[19:12] Speaker 8: really had no position on it. It's kind of made
[19:16] Speaker 8: me think we have in my church, but you have
[19:19] Speaker 8: an overseer who is an apostle, and I just kind
[19:23] Speaker 8: of iffy.
[19:25] Speaker 2: You know, well, look, here's one of the principles that
[19:29] Speaker 2: I talk about of the biplanes man broadcast all the time.
[19:31] Speaker 2: Words are not unifical. They are equivocal, which is to say,
[19:36] Speaker 2: they take on the meaning that the context allows. So
[19:39] Speaker 2: certainly there's a sense in which you can use the
[19:43] Speaker 2: words profit or apostle. Apostle could be used in the
[19:48] Speaker 2: sense of a church planter in the sense of a missionary,
[19:52] Speaker 2: a pastor of pastors, or a prophet could be used
[19:55] Speaker 2: in the sense of a leader who inspires the church
[19:58] Speaker 2: with vision for its mission, or one who challenges the
[20:02] Speaker 2: church to a deeper commitment to Christ. But they may
[20:06] Speaker 2: not be used in the sense that is synonymous with
[20:11] Speaker 2: the first century apostles or the Old Testament profits.
[20:16] Speaker 8: Yeah, that's kind of how I felt. That's kind of
[20:18] Speaker 8: how I was explaining it to my coworker. I just
[20:21] Speaker 8: wanted to get your standpoint.
[20:23] Speaker 2: And I've also written about this in the Complete Bible
[20:26] Speaker 2: answer Book Collector's Edition, which is available through the Ministry
[20:29] Speaker 2: of the Christian Research Institute. Before we go to our
[20:31] Speaker 2: next caller, I want to pause for just a second
[20:33] Speaker 2: and mention that when you join the support team, I'll
[20:37] Speaker 2: personalize it to you a family member or a friend.
[20:41] Speaker 2: Check it out on the webit equipped dot org, or
[20:43] Speaker 2: as always, you can call our resource consultants. They're standing

[20:51] Speaker 2: can also write me Box eighty five hundred, Charlotte North
[20:54] Speaker 2: Carolina zip code two eight two seven to one. Let's
[20:58] Speaker 2: go back to the phone lines. We'll talk next to
[21:01] Speaker 2: Evelyn listening in New York, New York. Hi, Evelyn, Hi,
[21:04] Speaker 2: how are you. I'm good.
[21:05] Speaker 4: I don't know if you remember me, but I met
[21:07] Speaker 4: you at Camp of the Woods years ago. If you
[21:10] Speaker 4: don't remember me, you probably remember my guide dog, a
[21:13] Speaker 4: golden Retriever named Patty.
[21:15] Speaker 2: You know, Evelyn, I do remember you now that you
[21:19] Speaker 2: now that you make that association for me.
[21:22] Speaker 4: Yeah, it was really nice to meet you then. Likewise,
[21:26] Speaker 4: but I do have a question. I don't like the
[21:29] Speaker 4: Word of Faith movement, obviously, mostly because I'm visually impaired
[21:32] Speaker 4: and they're always attacking me about you know, healing and stuff,
[21:37] Speaker 4: or a lot of them anyway, But there are some
[21:40] Speaker 4: verses that seem to support it, and I guess it
[21:42] Speaker 4: kind of bothers me. I don't know what to make
[21:44] Speaker 4: of them. Like there are verses in the Gospels where
[21:48] Speaker 4: Jesus said that he could do few miracles. He like
[21:51] Speaker 4: limited himself because the people hadn't the faith I think
[21:56] Speaker 4: in Copernium, I can't remember.
[22:01] Speaker 2: Yeah, but this doesn't limit Christ's ability. Remember that Jesus
[22:06] Speaker 2: Christ did not divest himself of a single attribute of deity.
[22:10] Speaker 2: He took on the limitations of humanity. So the text
[22:13] Speaker 2: is not intended to say that Jesus could not. It
[22:16] Speaker 2: is intended to communicate that Jesus would not. And again,
[22:21] Speaker 2: you have to exercise faith in God. The whole notion, Evelyn,
[22:26] Speaker 2: is not that we are not to exercise faith in God,
[22:30] Speaker 2: but rather that we should never exercise faith in our
[22:34] Speaker 2: own faith. In your particular condition, God could instantaneously heal
[22:40] Speaker 2: you if he wanted to. He created you, He knit
[22:44] Speaker 2: you together in your mother's whims, so obviously he can
[22:46] Speaker 2: heal your eyes. But God has a purpose. God has
[22:52] Speaker 2: a plan, and all of us live in a fallen world.
[22:56] Speaker 2: And therefore Christianity has never been intended to give us
[23:01] Speaker 2: a peaceful way to come to terms with the maladies
[23:05] Speaker 2: or the difficulties of life. Rather, it is designed to
[23:09] Speaker 2: give us something far greater, a way to overcome them
[23:13] Speaker 2: through the power of Christ's resurrection. So we look forward
[23:18] Speaker 2: to a time in which we will see clearly not
[23:22] Speaker 2: only with our physical eyes, but also with our spiritual eyes.
[23:27] Speaker 2: And you know, one of my heroes of the faith, Evelyn,
[23:30] Speaker 2: is Johnny Arksentata, and she often says that she's looking
[23:34] Speaker 2: forward to the day that she will pull vault the
[23:36] Speaker 2: pearly gates, and it is a way of saying that
[23:39] Speaker 2: she's looking forward to the day that she will be
[23:42] Speaker 2: completely restored, no longer a quadriplegic. The same thing is
[23:47] Speaker 2: true with you. There comes a time when Jesus appears
[23:51] Speaker 2: a second time, and then that which is wrong with
[23:55] Speaker 2: this world will be put to right, including your eyes,
[23:58] Speaker 2: so you will fully see.
[24:00] Speaker 4: My question still is does he let himself not by
[24:04] Speaker 4: divesting his power? You can't do that. He can't do that.
[24:06] Speaker 4: I mean, you know what I mean, God, God doesn't
[24:10] Speaker 4: lose his power because we don't believe he has it
[24:12] Speaker 4: or something like that. But does he I mean it
[24:16] Speaker 4: sounds like he does sort of let himself be limited
[24:22] Speaker 4: when we don't have the faith that he can do something.
[24:25] Speaker 2: Well, that's right. I mean we have to expert. I mean,
[24:28] Speaker 2: we're part of the process, aren't we, Which is to
[24:30] Speaker 2: say that we are called to have faith in God,
[24:34] Speaker 2: which is to say that there's nothing wrong with you.
[24:37] Speaker 2: Praying Lord, if it be thy, will heal me and
[24:43] Speaker 2: give me back my sight? Nevertheless, not my will, but
[24:47] Speaker 2: thy will be done. That is properly putting your faith
[24:52] Speaker 2: in Jesus Christ. The inverse would be to say, I
[24:57] Speaker 2: don't believe in the power of Jesus Christ. Even though
[25:00] Speaker 2: He's displayed his power in many different ways. He's displayed
[25:03] Speaker 2: at the universe he created, He's displayed it in my
[25:06] Speaker 2: life over and over again. Yet I do not believe
[25:09] Speaker 2: in the power of Jesus Christ. If you take that position,
[25:12] Speaker 2: then you might as well be like the first century
[25:16] Speaker 2: people of whom Jesus said, I might as well wipe
[25:21] Speaker 2: the dust from my sandals and move on, because you
[25:25] Speaker 2: see my power, and yet you deny my power. So
[25:31] Speaker 2: we are called to have faith in Jesus Christ. Thanks
[25:35] Speaker 2: for tuning in. Look forward to seeing you right back
