On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast (06/04/26), Hank shares the poignant words of five-star General Omar Bradley who said, “We have men of science, too few men of God. We have grasped the mystery of the atom and rejected the Sermon on the Mount.” Affirming this statement, Hank sends forth a clarion call for believers to stand with the Christian Research Institute in the battle for life and truth. Hank also answers the following questions: Do the children of unbelievers go to heaven after death? Sal - PA (5:50) Did Jesus ascend from Bethany according to Luke 24:50-51, or the Mount of Olives as Acts chapter 1 tells us? Brian - Syracuse, NY (15:39) Can you explain Daniel chapter 12 and the prophecy about 1,290 days? Mike - Willow Spring, NC (21:31)

[0:07] Speaker 1: Welcome to the Bible answer Man broadcast with your host,
[0:11] Speaker 1: Hank Hannigraph. The Bible answer Man is the radio ministry
[0:14] Speaker 1: of the Christian Research Institute designed to equip believers to
[0:18] Speaker 1: defend their faith and become true disciples of the Lord
[0:22] Speaker 1: Jesus Christ, because life and truth matter. Our phone number
[0:27] Speaker 1: is eight eight eight seven thousand CRII. You can find
[0:31] Speaker 1: us on the internet at equip dot org. The following
[0:34] Speaker 1: program was pre recorded, and now to begin today's broadcast,
[0:39] Speaker 1: here's Hank Hanagraph.
[0:41] Speaker 2: Thank you very much. Randy, and I want to begin
[0:42] Speaker 2: today's broadcast by simply talking about something that is of
[0:48] Speaker 2: great concern to me. As we end our fiscal year.
[0:53] Speaker 2: Many of you who have been following the ministry of
[0:55] Speaker 2: the Christian Research Institute four years know that we have
[1:00] Speaker 2: the ending of our calendar year, but we also have
[1:03] Speaker 2: the ending of our fiscal year, which comes up June thirty.
[1:07] Speaker 2: So before we take your calls, want to say just
[1:10] Speaker 2: a few words about that. Let me start by saying this.
[1:13] Speaker 2: Omar Bradley, who was one of the most famous American
[1:18] Speaker 2: generals of World War Two, reflected on the horrendous war
[1:25] Speaker 2: that had concluded only three years earlier, and in his
[1:29] Speaker 2: reflection he said, we know that unless free people stand
[1:34] Speaker 2: boldly and united against the forces of aggression, they may
[1:39] Speaker 2: fall wretchedly, one by one into the web of oppression.
[1:47] Speaker 2: And although aggression is blatantly physical in the sense that
[1:52] Speaker 2: Bradley was talking about it, the aggression that most concerns
[1:57] Speaker 2: me is of a far more subtle nature. It is
[2:02] Speaker 2: the relentless assault on life and truth, and even the
[2:08] Speaker 2: assault on common decency right here in our own backyards.
[2:14] Speaker 2: It's an assault we're called to resist with every fiber
[2:20] Speaker 2: of our being. The assault on life through abortion claims
[2:26] Speaker 2: millions of unborn babies per year. These are chilling numbers
[2:31] Speaker 2: that should cause us to weep and wail in anguish.
[2:34] Speaker 2: And yet the silent holocaust continues twenty four to seven.
[2:40] Speaker 2: And what about the assault on truth? Well, in some sectors,
[2:45] Speaker 2: the combined ravages of postmodern deconstructionism as well as secularism
[2:52] Speaker 2: have so disemboweled traditional notions of truth that even the
[2:57] Speaker 2: concept of objective truth or moral absolutes now sounds well,
[3:04] Speaker 2: curiously quaint. Consider, for example, the appalling state of biblical illiteracy.
[3:12] Speaker 2: Fewer than half of all adults today can name all
[3:16] Speaker 2: four of the Gospels. Almost none of them can name
[3:19] Speaker 2: the Twelve Disciples. Bradley was right. We have men as science,
[3:25] Speaker 2: but far too few men of God. We have grasped
[3:30] Speaker 2: the mystery of the atom and rejected the sermon on
[3:33] Speaker 2: the Mount. The world has achieved brilliance without conscience. Ours
[3:39] Speaker 2: is a world of nuclear giants, but ethical infants. And
[3:46] Speaker 2: that's my reason to speak to you today. It's not
[3:50] Speaker 2: to whine, but on the contrary, it's to blow a
[3:53] Speaker 2: clarion trumpet and mobilize serious Christians to join the Christian
[3:57] Speaker 2: Research Institute and the Bible answer Man Broadcast in a
[4:01] Speaker 2: fight for the very future of life and truth as
[4:04] Speaker 2: we know it. Throughout history, there have been three stages
[4:08] Speaker 2: in the demise of civilizations. You go from spiritual apostasy
[4:13] Speaker 2: to moral depravity, and from moral depravity to political anarchy.
[4:19] Speaker 2: And while thankfully we have yet to reach the stage
[4:22] Speaker 2: a political anarchy, no thinking person can doubt that we
[4:27] Speaker 2: are well beyond the initial stage of apostasy, and we're
[4:31] Speaker 2: gaining momentum on moral depravity. Just as this shear material
[4:37] Speaker 2: might of North America played a pivotal role in crushing
[4:40] Speaker 2: the tyranny that threatened free peoples during World War Two.
[4:45] Speaker 2: So too the Christian research institutes. Financial resources play a
[4:50] Speaker 2: pivotal role in our ability to stand daily for life
[4:53] Speaker 2: and truth. The brutal fact is that without the resources
[4:59] Speaker 2: to can continue standing for life in truth, we are
[5:03] Speaker 2: as inconsequential as soldiers who have run out of AMMO.
[5:10] Speaker 2: And again, because our financial year closes June thirty, I'll
[5:14] Speaker 2: ask you to please do what you can today. If
[5:17] Speaker 2: for some reason that's not possible, please be sure to
[5:21] Speaker 2: mark your gift postmarked by June thirty again, all of
[5:27] Speaker 2: this month the ending of our fiscal year, and we
[5:31] Speaker 2: ask you to stand with us prayer fully and financially.
[5:35] Speaker 2: You can do that in a say secure fashion on
[5:37] Speaker 2: the web equipped dot org, or you can write me
[5:38] Speaker 2: at box eighty five hundred, Charlotte, North Carolina, zip code
[5:42] Speaker 2: two eight two seven to one. Resource Consultants is always
[5:46] Speaker 2: standing by a triple eight seven thousand and the letters
[5:49] Speaker 2: see all right, a lot of you hanging on. We'll
[5:51] Speaker 2: go right to the phone calls seal first in Pennsylvania,
[5:54] Speaker 2: I sal.
[5:55] Speaker 3: Hik, I have two real quick questions children of the
[6:00] Speaker 3: Old Testament, Like David was told to go out and
[6:03] Speaker 3: kill the women children, And you know, and do they do?
[6:08] Speaker 3: The children go to heaven of non believers.
[6:11] Speaker 2: Well, first of all, what we have to do is
[6:14] Speaker 2: say that where the Bible is largely silent, we don't
[6:17] Speaker 2: want to scream. But the theological deduction from my perspective is, yes,
[6:25] Speaker 2: David had a child with Bathsheba. Bethsheba was the former
[6:30] Speaker 2: wife of Uriah the Hittite, and when the child died,
[6:34] Speaker 2: David had a certainty that that child would one day
[6:38] Speaker 2: be reunited with him in eternity. And so while we
[6:42] Speaker 2: don't have clear indications of scripture, I think that we
[6:46] Speaker 2: can base a certain answer on the reality that God
[6:51] Speaker 2: is both the God of love as well as a
[6:54] Speaker 2: God of justice. So I leave those children in the
[6:57] Speaker 2: hands of an infinitely just, in definitely merciful God. In
[7:01] Speaker 2: the prologue to the question, however, you mentioned the genocide
[7:06] Speaker 2: of women and children, and I think you have to
[7:09] Speaker 2: contextualize that statement by what the scriptures are really saying.
[7:14] Speaker 2: The command to destroy them totally, and this comes in
[7:17] Speaker 2: Deuteronomy chapter seven, is contextualized by the words do not
[7:22] Speaker 2: inter marry with them, where they will turn your sons
[7:26] Speaker 2: and your daughters away from following me to serve other gods.
[7:29] Speaker 2: So the aim of God's command was not the obliteration
[7:33] Speaker 2: of the wicked, but the obliteration of wickedness. And we
[7:38] Speaker 2: have ample reason to believe that not everyone was killed.
[7:44] Speaker 2: Those who turn from their evil ways, evil ways like
[7:48] Speaker 2: offering their sons and daughters to idols, putting their children
[7:53] Speaker 2: in infanticide in the arms of an idol like ball
[7:58] Speaker 2: where they would literally be burnt to death. Those who
[8:02] Speaker 2: refrained and turned from their wicked ways after God had
[8:06] Speaker 2: warned them for over four hundred years, were spared on
[8:10] Speaker 2: account of their faith rehab, of course, and her family
[8:14] Speaker 2: the quintessential example. On account of her face, she was
[8:18] Speaker 2: allowed to live among the Israelites and become true israel herself,
[8:23] Speaker 2: such that she is in the lineage of our Lord
[8:25] Speaker 2: and Savior, Jesus Christ. So it's always important to qualify
[8:30] Speaker 2: the whole idea that people bring up on nauseum on
[8:34] Speaker 2: infinitum of genocide on the part of the God of
[8:37] Speaker 2: the Old Testament. It's important to recognize that blessings for
[8:42] Speaker 2: those who follow in cursings for those who rebel is
[8:46] Speaker 2: still a maxim that applies in that context as it
[8:51] Speaker 2: does today.
[8:52] Speaker 3: Okay, I got one other real quick question. When a
[8:54] Speaker 3: non believer dies, do they go directly to Hell and
[8:59] Speaker 3: then after that they come back in their bodies and
[9:03] Speaker 3: they go to the judgment and then they're cast into
[9:05] Speaker 3: the lake of fire again.
[9:07] Speaker 2: Well. No, The way that you have to look at
[9:10] Speaker 2: this is to recognize the story of Jesus in Luke
[9:14] Speaker 2: chapter sixteen. Now there's a rich man who dies and
[9:18] Speaker 2: ends up in torment. That torment is an earnest of
[9:22] Speaker 2: that which is to come, because the rich man, just
[9:26] Speaker 2: like anyone who dies today, is absent the body, and
[9:31] Speaker 2: either in torment or in the presence of the Lord. Lazarus,
[9:36] Speaker 2: the beggar lying at his gate is in the presence
[9:39] Speaker 2: of the Lord. The biblical text tells us the angels
[9:42] Speaker 2: carried him to Abraham's bosom or paradise, a way of
[9:45] Speaker 2: saying that he is being comforted by being in the
[9:48] Speaker 2: presence of the Lord. What happens when Jesus appears a
[9:53] Speaker 2: second time? Jesus explains himself. He says, do not be
[9:55] Speaker 2: amazed at this. The time is coming when all who
[9:57] Speaker 2: in the grace will come out someone rise to live
[10:00] Speaker 2: and some will rise to be eternally condemned. And so
[10:04] Speaker 2: when Jesus appears the second time, the soul of the
[10:07] Speaker 2: rich man will return to his body, the soul of
[10:10] Speaker 2: Lazarus will return to his body. Those bodies will be resurrected,
[10:16] Speaker 2: They will be judged, and then the rich man will
[10:21] Speaker 2: not only experience an earnest or a foretaste of hell,
[10:25] Speaker 2: but hell itself, which is separation from the goodness and
[10:29] Speaker 2: grace of God for all eternity. The same thing for Lazarus,
[10:33] Speaker 2: except in reverse. Lazarus will be resurrected to eternal life.
[10:40] Speaker 2: He will forever experience the resurrected Christ. He will experience
[10:47] Speaker 2: restored universe, and forever explore the glory and goodness of
[10:51] Speaker 2: the God who saved him.
[10:53] Speaker 3: I thank you for answering my questions, taking the time
[10:56] Speaker 3: to do that. I appreciate it.
[11:00] Speaker 2: Absolutely welcome. We'll be right back in just a few moments.
[11:03] Speaker 2: With more.
[11:04] Speaker 1: Every CRII outreach, our broadcast, podcast, website, resources, the Christian
[11:10] Speaker 1: Research Journal, and more is made possible only because of
[11:14] Speaker 1: friends like you. Your partnership matters. What kind of impact
[11:19] Speaker 1: has your partnership had an impact for time and for eternity.
[11:24] Speaker 1: Stand with Hank Hanagraph and the Christian Research Institute during
[11:28] Speaker 1: the key month of June to ensure that we end
[11:30] Speaker 1: the financial year in a position of strength. To make
[11:34] Speaker 1: a gift to support Crii's life changing outreaches, simply call

[11:48] Speaker 1: God Bless you. We'll be back in just a moment
[11:52] Speaker 1: with more from Hank Hannagraph. Doctor Evan Alexandra's wildly popular
[12:06] Speaker 1: near death experience book Proof of Heaven assures us that
[12:10] Speaker 1: no matter what we do in this life, only unconditional
[12:13] Speaker 1: love and joy await us in the world to come.
[12:16] Speaker 1: But our Lord warned that while the gate to Hell
[12:18] Speaker 1: is wide, the road to it broad, and those who
[12:21] Speaker 1: enter through it are many, the gate is narrow and
[12:24] Speaker 1: the way is hard that leads to life, and those
[12:27] Speaker 1: who find it are few. Your generous support, let's Hank
[12:30] Speaker 1: Hanograph and see Uri speak out against the lies that
[12:34] Speaker 1: lead to Hell. In appreciation for your gift, today, we'll
[12:37] Speaker 1: rush you Hank's book After Life. What you need to
[12:41] Speaker 1: know about Heaven, the hereafter, and Near Death experiences filled
[12:45] Speaker 1: with answers to your questions about life after death. Call
[12:48] Speaker 1: eight eight eight seven thousand CROI or visit equip dot org.
[12:53] Speaker 1: Now again, that's equip dot org. Winston Churchill once declared,
[13:02] Speaker 1: you may have to fight when there is no hope
[13:04] Speaker 1: of victory, because it is better to perish than to
[13:08] Speaker 1: live as slaves. Churchill sought to awaken those who were
[13:11] Speaker 1: reluctant to fight against the advancing Nazi war machine. Today,
[13:16] Speaker 1: a spiritual battle is taking place. Atheism advances in the West,
[13:20] Speaker 1: and slavery to secularity is imprisoning more and more hearts
[13:24] Speaker 1: and minds in the United States. For this reason, CRI's
[13:28] Speaker 1: ministry is critical, but we need people willing to stand
[13:32] Speaker 1: for truth along with the financial provisions to accomplish its mission.

[15:36] Speaker 1: Hank hanagraph.
[15:38] Speaker 2: Thank you much, Trandian. Right back to our phone callers.
[15:40] Speaker 2: We'll talk next to Brian. He's listening in Syracuse, New
[15:43] Speaker 2: York on the web. Hi Brian, Hi, Hank, how you
[15:46] Speaker 2: doing doing well? Thank you?
[15:49] Speaker 4: That's good. Well, you know what I'm researching, so I
[15:52] Speaker 4: can return. Let me ask you a question. I have
[15:56] Speaker 4: a good question from a friend of mine who's an atheist,
[15:58] Speaker 4: and we've been dialogue in back and forth, and he
[16:01] Speaker 4: says to me, well, you know, if the Bible is
[16:03] Speaker 4: a contrador, tell me where did crisis send from? From
[16:06] Speaker 4: the amount of Olives, as Acts one nine through twelve suggests,
[16:10] Speaker 4: or from Bethany as in Luke twenty four fifty to
[16:14] Speaker 4: fifty one suggests. What's the answer, Hank.
[16:16] Speaker 2: Well, the first thing I would say to this gentleman,
[16:19] Speaker 2: with gentleness and with respect, is look, both accounts are
[16:23] Speaker 2: written by doctor Luke, and therefore he is not likely
[16:27] Speaker 2: to contradict himself. And certainly, when you think about doctor Luke,
[16:33] Speaker 2: his credentials as a historian are absolutely impeccable, and therefore
[16:40] Speaker 2: you wouldn't think that a doctor with impeccable credentials is
[16:45] Speaker 2: likely to contradict himself, particularly in the matter of history,
[16:49] Speaker 2: where he was a seasoned veteran. So what's going on?
[16:53] Speaker 2: If you look at Luke chapter twenty four, what that
[16:56] Speaker 2: actually tells us is that when he had led them
[16:59] Speaker 2: out to the vicinity of Bethany speaking of Jesus Christ,
[17:04] Speaker 2: he was taken up into heaven and acts one doctor
[17:09] Speaker 2: Luke says, after Jesus had ascended, the disciples returned to
[17:14] Speaker 2: Jerusalem from the hill called the Mount of Olives, which
[17:18] Speaker 2: was a Sabbath day's walk from the city. So there's
[17:23] Speaker 2: no contradiction there whatsoever, because Bethany is a village on
[17:27] Speaker 2: the Mount of Olives, and it's about two miles southeast
[17:30] Speaker 2: of Jerusalem if you've ever been to the Holy Land.
[17:33] Speaker 2: So the accounts are perfectly consistent with one another. So
[17:36] Speaker 2: this is what I call a supposed contradiction. It's not
[17:40] Speaker 2: a contradiction.
[17:41] Speaker 3: In fact, Boy, that made.
[17:44] Speaker 4: It sound very simple, Okay, perfect, that makes complete and
[17:48] Speaker 4: total sense.
[17:49] Speaker 2: Good.
[17:49] Speaker 4: I you know, I walk every Wednesday with my uncle,
[17:53] Speaker 4: who is an atheist, and I have a lot of
[17:55] Speaker 4: atheists in my family and in my life, and I
[17:58] Speaker 4: end up going to the equipp dot org site. You
[18:02] Speaker 4: can just type in your question and all your articles
[18:05] Speaker 4: concerning that question comes up. And I find myself doing
[18:08] Speaker 4: a lot of copying and pasting and texting answers. And
[18:12] Speaker 4: I hope you don't mind me plagiarizing you, not at all.
[18:15] Speaker 2: I mean, we want the wind to blow absolutely.
[18:18] Speaker 4: But so the thing is that my uncle says to me,
[18:20] Speaker 4: watch this frontline from Jesus to Christ, and I actually
[18:24] Speaker 4: had an opportunity today to watch some of it, and
[18:28] Speaker 4: it seems like there, you know, a lot of theologians
[18:31] Speaker 4: and a lot of archaeologists and a lot of heady
[18:35] Speaker 4: minded people have are starting to try to explain the
[18:39] Speaker 4: account and the history of the Bible and the Gospels,
[18:45] Speaker 4: and how it seems like like Mark being that he
[18:48] Speaker 4: wrote in the eighties, that he kind of switched maybe
[18:53] Speaker 4: the doctrine that Jesus taught to satisfy what was going
[18:58] Speaker 4: on in the day.
[18:59] Speaker 2: Was this is the problem. I mean, think about someone
[19:03] Speaker 2: saying that Mark has written in the eighties. That's absolutely
[19:06] Speaker 2: absurd on the face of it. And Mark was written
[19:09] Speaker 2: far earlier than that. In fact, all of the Bible
[19:13] Speaker 2: was completed by the time that the Temple was destroyed
[19:16] Speaker 2: in eighty seventy. And you can see that just through
[19:19] Speaker 2: common sense. Imagine if I was writing today about a
[19:25] Speaker 2: history of terrorism in America and I didn't mention the
[19:30] Speaker 2: Twin Towers, that would be unthinkable. I mean, that would
[19:34] Speaker 2: be at the epicenter of my narrative. And imagine if
[19:38] Speaker 2: you are now, Mark, writing after the Temple is destroyed
[19:43] Speaker 2: and never mentioning the destruction of the very edifice that
[19:48] Speaker 2: gave the Jews their sociological and spiritual underpinnings. That's unthinkable.
[19:54] Speaker 2: Not only that, but imagine one of the Gospel writers
[19:57] Speaker 2: not picking up on the fulfillment of christ prophecy because
[20:02] Speaker 2: he did prophesy that the Temple would be destroyed. Imagine
[20:05] Speaker 2: if you are writing after the fact not mentioning that
[20:09] Speaker 2: that prophecy had been fulfilled. Of course you would, because
[20:12] Speaker 2: that was the pattern of the prophets. So the very
[20:15] Speaker 2: notion that Mark has written in the eighties shows a
[20:18] Speaker 2: tremendous amount of historical ignorance as well as a lack
[20:23] Speaker 2: of common sense.
[20:26] Speaker 4: Yes, that makes sense, That does make it makes perfect sense. Well,
[20:30] Speaker 4: you know what, I appreciate your ministry so much that
[20:33] Speaker 4: I am a monthly supporter and I quite haven't found
[20:37] Speaker 4: a church that I'm comfortable in. And I used to
[20:40] Speaker 4: be there Sunday, Monday, Wednesdays, Thursdays for many years, and
[20:45] Speaker 4: I found myself slipping away until I happened upon your broadcast.
[20:50] Speaker 4: And I have to tell you, God has used this
[20:53] Speaker 4: ministry to spark my desire and fire and run full
[20:57] Speaker 4: speed for Jesus all over again. And it wasn't coincidental
[21:01] Speaker 4: that I happened upon this program. And I credit this ministry.
[21:05] Speaker 4: That's why I basically tied to this ministry until I
[21:09] Speaker 4: feel a good church home for sparking the desire and
[21:15] Speaker 4: the fire for Christ back in my life and making
[21:17] Speaker 4: him the central theme of my day. Thank you very much.
[21:21] Speaker 2: Well, I don't know what to say except thank you
[21:23] Speaker 2: very much. That was I'm sure inspiring to a lot
[21:26] Speaker 2: of people and certainly to me. Thank you. I bless you,
[21:29] Speaker 2: bless you. Brian. Back to the phone lines. We'll talk
[21:31] Speaker 2: next to Mike. He's listening in Willow Spring, North Carolina.
[21:36] Speaker 2: Hi Mike, Hi, Haank, how are you?
[21:40] Speaker 5: I'm good thank you. First, I'd like to just thank
[21:43] Speaker 5: you and Cri for your ministry and your contribution to
[21:47] Speaker 5: the Kingdom of God. And like the gentleman before mentioned,
[21:53] Speaker 5: I have recently become a partner. I've been listening to
[21:55] Speaker 5: you for several months, so I'm very happy about that.
[21:59] Speaker 2: Bless you.
[22:00] Speaker 5: My question is regarding Daniel twelve, if you could expound
[22:05] Speaker 5: where in the Times of the End when it mentions
[22:07] Speaker 5: the twelve hundred and ninety days, they two hundred and
[22:11] Speaker 5: ninety days, and blessed is he that waits to the
[22:13] Speaker 5: thirteen hundred and thirty five days, if you could expound
[22:17] Speaker 5: on the meaning of that.
[22:18] Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I've done that in a book called
[22:20] Speaker 2: Has God Spoken? And I think the first thing that
[22:23] Speaker 2: you have to examine is your presuppositions, because the presupposition
[22:29] Speaker 2: is that this has to do with the end of
[22:32] Speaker 2: our age, as opposed to something that's happening in the
[22:35] Speaker 2: context of the Old Testament Antichrist in Tykus the Fourth Epiphanies,
[22:40] Speaker 2: Remember Daniel is prophesying in the sixth century before Christ
[22:45] Speaker 2: about something that's going to happen four hundred years or so. Hence,
[22:50] Speaker 2: and it was on December fourteenth one sixty four, seven
[22:56] Speaker 2: years after in Tykus had orchestrated the murder of Annius,
[23:02] Speaker 2: and exactly three years after he desecrated the temple fortress,
[23:06] Speaker 2: after he abolished the Daily sacrifice, and after he set
[23:10] Speaker 2: up an abomination that causes desolation, that the temple was
[23:14] Speaker 2: rededicated and that the Daily sacrifice was restored. And by
[23:18] Speaker 2: the way, parenthetically, Jesus talks about this when he is
[23:22] Speaker 2: communicating an abomination of desolation that is yet in his future.
[23:28] Speaker 2: So Jesus is prophesying when he's on the earth about
[23:31] Speaker 2: what is going to happen when the temple is not
[23:34] Speaker 2: just desecrated, but is going to be manifestly destroyed. And
[23:39] Speaker 2: when he does that, in the all of the discourse,
[23:41] Speaker 2: he says, so when you see standing in the Holy
[23:45] Speaker 2: Place the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel,
[23:51] Speaker 2: let the reader understand. So Jesus is pointing back to
[23:54] Speaker 2: what happened so that he can use that as a
[23:59] Speaker 2: marker for what is going to happen forty years. Hence,
[24:02] Speaker 2: so Jesus is prophesying in the thirties about what's going
[24:05] Speaker 2: to happen by eighty seventy and Daniel is prophesying in
[24:09] Speaker 2: the sixth century about what's going to happen at this
[24:13] Speaker 2: period of time. To just get to the point, as
[24:17] Speaker 2: the Jewish prophet Daniel then foretold, from the time that
[24:22] Speaker 2: the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes
[24:26] Speaker 2: desolation is set up, there will be one thousand, two
[24:30] Speaker 2: hundred and ninety days and is prophesied by Daniel again.
[24:36] Speaker 2: And Tykas, the Antichrist of the Old Testament was finally dead.
[24:40] Speaker 2: He was destroyed not by human power, but he was
[24:43] Speaker 2: destroyed by the power and province of Almighty God. Why
[24:47] Speaker 2: because upon hearing that the Jews had regained Jerusalem, the
[24:52] Speaker 2: Syrian beast vowed that he was going to make Jerusalem
[24:56] Speaker 2: a cemetery for Jews. And so you see that the
[25:01] Speaker 2: death of that Old Testament anti Christ might will have
[25:04] Speaker 2: been in view. When Daniel wrote, blessed is the one
[25:07] Speaker 2: who waits for and reaches the end of the one thousand,
[25:11] Speaker 2: three hundred and thirty five days. I lay all of
[25:15] Speaker 2: this o I'll seequentially and has God spoken in a
[25:19] Speaker 2: section called the abomination that causes desolation spoken of by
[25:23] Speaker 2: the prophet Daniel. And right after that section there's a
[25:26] Speaker 2: section in which I deal with the abomination of desolation
[25:32] Speaker 2: spoken of by our Lord and say, for Jesus Christ,
[25:34] Speaker 2: I'm going to have to leave it at that. The
