[0:07] Speaker 1: You're just in time for the Bible answer Man broadcast
[0:10] Speaker 1: with Hank Anagraph, the radio outreach of the Christian Research Institute.
[0:15] Speaker 1: Our purpose here at CRII is to equip Christians to
[0:19] Speaker 1: pursue sound doctrine, to discern truth and error, and to
[0:23] Speaker 1: become faithful disciples of Christ because life and truth matter.
[0:28] Speaker 1: For more information, to order resources or donate, call eight
[0:32] Speaker 1: eight eight seven thousand CROI, or go online to equip
[0:37] Speaker 1: dot org. The following program was pre recorded. Now here's
[0:42] Speaker 1: the President of the Christian Research Institute, Hank Canagraph.
[0:46] Speaker 2: Thank you very much, Randy Letty hanging on. We'll go
[0:49] Speaker 2: right to our phone calls. First step is Nelly listening
[0:53] Speaker 2: in Maryland.
[0:54] Speaker 3: Hey Nelly, Hi, mister Hannahgraff. I have this question coming
[0:59] Speaker 3: from Genesis chapter three. We just started reading again the
[1:06] Speaker 3: Bible through and Genesis chapter three, verse fifteen, where it says,
[1:12] Speaker 3: and I will put in midday between you and the
[1:15] Speaker 3: woman and so on. And I read your references in
[1:19] Speaker 3: romans and relations, but in context, I just kind of
[1:22] Speaker 3: don't understand it.
[1:24] Speaker 2: Well, it's in seed form, it's what it's in seed form,
[1:28] Speaker 2: and that seed continues to germinate throughout the scripture. In
[1:33] Speaker 2: other words, the picture takes on more and more form
[1:37] Speaker 2: as you go through the Bible. But this is what's
[1:40] Speaker 2: called the proto evangel And here we have already in Genesis,
[1:47] Speaker 2: right after the fall, a picture of restoration. Eve is deceived.
[1:55] Speaker 2: The man eats the apple along with the woman, or
[1:59] Speaker 2: the fruit. We're not told it's an apple, but each
[2:02] Speaker 2: from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
[2:04] Speaker 2: And as a result they fall into lives of perpetual sin,
[2:07] Speaker 2: terminated by death. Well, here's what happens, the serpent who
[2:14] Speaker 2: deceives them, or the devil. This is of course not
[2:17] Speaker 2: intended to say what Satan looks like, but rather what
[2:21] Speaker 2: Satan is like. The serpent deceives them. As a result,
[2:28] Speaker 2: he is cursed, and he'll crawl all the days of
[2:33] Speaker 2: his life. He'll eat dust. In other words, he is
[2:36] Speaker 2: thrown from his lofty position to the dust of the earth.
[2:41] Speaker 2: And now we have in the picture, in the metaphor,
[2:46] Speaker 2: we have the picture of enmity between you and the woman,
[2:52] Speaker 2: in other words, between the deceiver and the woman, between
[2:56] Speaker 2: your offspring and her offspring. He will crush your head,
[3:03] Speaker 2: but you will strike his heel. Well, the savior is
[3:09] Speaker 2: going to crush the head of the serpent. Well, what
[3:12] Speaker 2: does that mean? In the metaphor, he destroys the principalities
[3:16] Speaker 2: and powers of darkness by triumphing over them through the
[3:23] Speaker 2: power of the Cross. That's what I'm saying. The seed,
[3:25] Speaker 2: what we see in seed form here germinates in the
[3:28] Speaker 2: rest of scripture. So we see that Christ does not
[3:32] Speaker 2: step on the head of a snake, but he defeats
[3:35] Speaker 2: the power of the evil one.
[3:38] Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know prophecy well enough to understand all that.
[3:42] Speaker 3: That's why I called you.
[3:44] Speaker 4: Well.
[3:44] Speaker 2: In reading through the Bible, you can understand the main
[3:47] Speaker 2: and plain things. And once you understand the main and
[3:51] Speaker 2: plain things, you can build on that understanding. And that's
[3:54] Speaker 2: what we're all called to do. We want to understand
[3:57] Speaker 2: the outline, the structure that which galvinises us together as believers.
[4:02] Speaker 2: And once we've done that, we can start building on
[4:05] Speaker 2: that piece by piece, learning a little more here and
[4:08] Speaker 2: a little more there, and recognizing that it's never the
[4:11] Speaker 2: absence of knowledge that damns, it is the despising of
[4:16] Speaker 2: knowledge that damns. So do not fear. You can continue
[4:20] Speaker 2: to learn in meekness and in reverence, just as I
[4:23] Speaker 2: am continuing to learn all the days of my life,
[4:26] Speaker 2: and what we see now we see dimly and darkly.
[4:29] Speaker 4: Then we'll see face to face.
[4:31] Speaker 3: Yeah, I know that's in first Granted, this is my
[4:34] Speaker 3: first time reading the Old Testament through. I've read the
[4:38] Speaker 3: New Testament several times, but I'm just not good on
[4:42] Speaker 3: prophecy at all. So anyway, I really appreciate your help.
[4:47] Speaker 4: You are welcome. It is a pleasure to talk to you.
[4:50] Speaker 3: Okay, you have a super evening, and God bless you
[4:53] Speaker 3: for working for him.
[4:54] Speaker 2: Thank you, Nelly, thank you for your encouragement. Back to
[4:58] Speaker 2: the phone lines. Talk to Marco List in Springfield, Missouri.
[5:02] Speaker 5: Hi, Marco, Yes, Hey, Yank, I have a question about
[5:06] Speaker 5: I have a friend and he is a Jehovah witness
[5:11] Speaker 5: and I'm a Christian. I don't have all the right answer,
[5:14] Speaker 5: yets to properly stake this case to him that the
[5:19] Speaker 5: Wife Power Organization based on I understand it is.
[5:23] Speaker 6: It's really not Christianity the way it's practiced.
[5:26] Speaker 2: Yeah, that's absolutely right, And I think what we have
[5:28] Speaker 2: to do in this particular case is again understand the
[5:31] Speaker 2: deviation so that we can use them as springboards or
[5:35] Speaker 2: opportunities share the truth of the Gospel. The Wachtar Society,
[5:40] Speaker 2: first of all, compromises the nature of God, and they
[5:42] Speaker 2: teach in this regard the notion that the Trinity is
[5:46] Speaker 2: a freakish looking three headed God. So they take Christianity
[5:50] Speaker 2: on at its most basic fundamental teaching with respect to
[5:55] Speaker 2: the nature of God. Again, they call the Trinity a
[5:58] Speaker 2: freakish looking three headed God invented by Satan. And they
[6:03] Speaker 2: say that Jesus is merely a God. So in their theologies,
[6:09] Speaker 2: was created by God as the archangel Michael. During his
[6:12] Speaker 2: earthly sojourn he became merely human, and after his crucifixion
[6:16] Speaker 2: he was recreated and immaterial spirit creature. They also deny
[6:21] Speaker 2: the physical resurrection of Jesus, and it keeps going from
[6:27] Speaker 2: bad to worse. Under the threat of being this fellowship,
[6:30] Speaker 2: Jehovah's witnesses are barred from celebrating holidays. Even more troubling
[6:37] Speaker 2: our Watchtower regulations regarding vaccinations, organ transplants, blood transfusions, all
[6:45] Speaker 2: of which are based on faulty teachings and faulty authority.
[6:50] Speaker 2: And again, what is critical in this case is to
[6:54] Speaker 2: know that the Bible is the authority by which we
[6:58] Speaker 2: can legitimately test all things, because we can demonstrate the
[7:02] Speaker 2: Bible to be divine as opposed to merely human in origin.
[7:06] Speaker 2: I want to go back to the phone lines. Let's
[7:08] Speaker 2: talk next to Susan listening on the web in Sunnyvale, California.
[7:12] Speaker 7: Hi, Susan, did I have a question on Mark sixteen
[7:16] Speaker 7: nine through twenty about the validity of that and also
[7:21] Speaker 7: the details of Versus seventeen and eighteen about the signs
[7:26] Speaker 7: of proof of belief.
[7:28] Speaker 2: Yeah, well, a couple of things. In most modern translations,
[7:32] Speaker 2: you will see a note that separates verse eight from
[7:37] Speaker 2: verse nine.
[7:39] Speaker 7: Yes, I've read that, and I've read some other people's
[7:43] Speaker 7: comments about this, but I just wanted to know what
[7:46] Speaker 7: your opinion was.
[7:47] Speaker 2: Well, my opinion is that this is likely not part
[7:52] Speaker 2: of Mark's gospel. But even if you say it is
[7:57] Speaker 2: part of Mark's gospel, what you're referring to in verses
[8:02] Speaker 2: actually fifteen through eighteen, all of that applies, but it
[8:09] Speaker 2: applies to what happened in biblical history, which is to say,
[8:14] Speaker 2: for example, Paul drove out demons, Paul was bitten by
[8:19] Speaker 2: a snake and survived. Peter and John placed their hands
[8:24] Speaker 2: on people, and they were healed, and all of this,
[8:27] Speaker 2: though not normative for us today, demonstrates that these were
[8:33] Speaker 2: actual apostles who were credited by what they did. Jesus Christ,
[8:39] Speaker 2: of course, likewise the cornerstone through miracles, ultimately the miracle
[8:44] Speaker 2: of his resurrection, set himself apart as the one who spoke.
[8:50] Speaker 2: And now we have, through Christ the cornerstone, through the apostles,
[8:55] Speaker 2: and through the prophets, the infallible repository of redemptive revelation
[9:01] Speaker 2: by which all else must be tested. But I think
[9:05] Speaker 2: it's important to recognize that today we have manuscript evidence.
[9:10] Speaker 4: That manuscript evidence is.
[9:12] Speaker 2: Such that out of the text, in other words, out
[9:17] Speaker 2: of all the manuscripts that we have, through the tenacity
[9:20] Speaker 2: of the text, the autograph emerges. So we don't have
[9:25] Speaker 2: an autograph that's under glass in Rome or someone somewhere
[9:30] Speaker 2: in Jerusalem, but rather we have many manuscripts, and by
[9:35] Speaker 2: testing one manuscript against another manuscript, we find the actual photographer,
[9:42] Speaker 2: the actual autograph itself. And through textual criticism or the
[9:47] Speaker 2: science of textional analysis, most scholars will say that this
[9:52] Speaker 2: is not part of the text, but rather was a
[9:56] Speaker 2: scribal insertion into the text, because it.
[10:01] Speaker 7: Just doesn't seem to fit. It's kind of you know,
[10:04] Speaker 7: it's and it just really kind of bothered me to
[10:08] Speaker 7: say that. I was like, Okay, the Bible is infallible
[10:14] Speaker 7: word of God, so this is infallible.
[10:17] Speaker 2: Yeah, well you're write in your sense. Because statistical and
[10:21] Speaker 2: linguistic analysis do call into question this passage is consistent
[10:26] Speaker 2: with the rest of Mark's Gospel.
[10:28] Speaker 4: I've written about this in my book Has God Spoken?
[10:31] Speaker 2: That is a book I spent quite a number of
[10:34] Speaker 2: years on and in a memorable format, teaches you the
[10:37] Speaker 2: art and science of biblical interpretation.
[10:41] Speaker 4: Much more, it teaches you.
[10:43] Speaker 2: That the Bible is in fact divine, and stands up
[10:47] Speaker 2: against all those who say, like Bartierman, that the text
[10:51] Speaker 2: is forged or that the text is unreliable. To the contrary,
[10:55] Speaker 2: we can be absolutely certain that the Word of God
[10:59] Speaker 2: is in fact the words of God.
[11:01] Speaker 4: We'll be right back with more.
[11:03] Speaker 1: The famous British apologist G. K. Chesterton once noted, the
[11:07] Speaker 1: true soldier fights not because he hates what is in
[11:10] Speaker 1: front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.
[11:13] Speaker 1: Because at CRII we love what is behind us, our faith,
[11:17] Speaker 1: our families, and our freedoms. We will never retreat quietly
[11:21] Speaker 1: from the growing assaults on life and truth, even when
[11:24] Speaker 1: the costs are great. We will stand to join like
[11:28] Speaker 1: minded friends in making a difference at home and around
[11:31] Speaker 1: the globe, and to equip fellow believers to stand their
[11:34] Speaker 1: ground courageously. Become a member of CRI's Support Team. Simply

[11:50] Speaker 4: Stay with us.
[11:51] Speaker 1: Hank Canigraph will return in a few moments. Bertrand Russell
[12:02] Speaker 1: famously said most people would rather die than think, and
[12:06] Speaker 1: many of them do not so with CRI Support Team members.
[12:11] Speaker 1: Support Team members are not only serious thinkers, but their
[12:15] Speaker 1: membership and CRI's Support Team helps to equip hundreds of
[12:19] Speaker 1: thousands of fellow believers around the globe each and every month.
[12:23] Speaker 1: Are you not a member, then you're missing out. Not
[12:26] Speaker 1: only do Support Team members form the backbone of Christian

[12:52] Speaker 1: Once again, that's equip dot org. Has God Spoken? Are
[13:08] Speaker 1: the words of Scripture merely human in origin? Or are they,
[13:11] Speaker 1: in fact the very words of God himself? Three years
[13:15] Speaker 1: in the making and based on two decades of research
[13:18] Speaker 1: and reflection, Hank Henagraph's monumental book Has God Spoken answers
[13:24] Speaker 1: what is surely the most important question facing our world.
[13:27] Speaker 1: In Has God Spoken? Memorable Proofs of the Bible's Divine inspiration,
[13:32] Speaker 1: Hank counters the contentions of the Bible attackers and clearly
[13:36] Speaker 1: shows that belief in the Holy Scriptures is not a
[13:39] Speaker 1: guess or wishful thinking. It is the only logical conclusion
[13:43] Speaker 1: after an honest examination of overwhelming evidence. Ordered Has God Spoken?

[14:01] Speaker 8: Truth Matters, Life Matters More by Hank Hannigraph is essentially
[14:05] Speaker 8: two books in one because Truth Matters Part one equips
[14:09] Speaker 8: Christians to defend the essential truth of the historic Christian faith.
[14:13] Speaker 8: In part two, Hank explains why Life Matters More and
[14:17] Speaker 8: how we can experience the height of human existence union
[14:21] Speaker 8: with God in Christ. Simply put, the map is not
[14:24] Speaker 8: the territory, the menu is not the meal. We cheat
[14:27] Speaker 8: ourselves of authentic union with Christ when we elevate the
[14:31] Speaker 8: message above the Messiah. Truth matters, Life matters More is
[14:36] Speaker 8: a modern classic and the magnum opus of one of
[14:38] Speaker 8: the great theological minds of our time. To receive truth matters,
[14:43] Speaker 8: Life matters more, simply call eight eight eight seven thousand
[14:46] Speaker 8: CRI and make a gift in support of the life
[14:49] Speaker 8: changing work of the Christian Research Institute. That's eight eight
[14:52] Speaker 8: eight seven thousand CRI, or go online to equip dot org.
[15:07] Speaker 1: Well, let's return to your host and canagraph.
[15:10] Speaker 2: Thank you very much, Randian, or right back to our
[15:12] Speaker 2: phone callers, and the next up is Derek listening on
[15:15] Speaker 2: the web in Indianapolis, Indiana. Hi, Derek, Hi, I'm calling.
[15:19] Speaker 9: About sim thirty four seventeen. It says the righteous quir
[15:22] Speaker 9: and the Lord hears and delivers the no matter all
[15:24] Speaker 9: their troubles. I want to know is that for Christians
[15:28] Speaker 9: of the present or the future, Because I know that
[15:31] Speaker 9: Pim's twenty two was for the future and not for David,
[15:35] Speaker 9: how the High I understand that.
[15:38] Speaker 2: No, No, this very directly involves believers. The righteous cry out,
[15:45] Speaker 2: and the Lord hears them, he delivers them from all
[15:49] Speaker 2: their troubles. And that's contrasted with the verse that comes before.
[15:53] Speaker 2: The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and
[15:56] Speaker 2: his ears are attentive to their cry. The face of
[15:59] Speaker 2: the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut
[16:03] Speaker 2: off the memory of them from the earth. So the
[16:08] Speaker 2: unrighteous are cut off. The righteous cry out, and they
[16:13] Speaker 2: are delivered. Now, that does not mean that you're going
[16:16] Speaker 2: to be delivered from all trouble in this world. In fact,
[16:21] Speaker 2: Christ said the inverse. He said, in this world you
[16:25] Speaker 2: will have trouble. But take heart, I have overcome the
[16:29] Speaker 2: world through the overcomer Jesus Christ. We too will overcome,
[16:35] Speaker 2: and in the ultimate sense, we will be delivered from death, destruction, disease,
[16:42] Speaker 2: and decay. And so we long for what we do
[16:47] Speaker 2: not yet have. We earnestly anticipate and expect it, because
[16:54] Speaker 2: this is indeed the promise of God for every believer
[17:00] Speaker 2: who is in the Overcomer Jesus Christ.
[17:03] Speaker 9: Okay, so, and this doesn't have any I think this
[17:06] Speaker 9: is is Tom twenty two. Did David actually did he not?
[17:10] Speaker 9: With pierced in the hands, in the feet and stuff
[17:13] Speaker 9: like that?
[17:14] Speaker 2: Right, Psalm twenty two is clearly messianic. As many of
[17:18] Speaker 2: the psalms are. They either are directly Messianic or they
[17:22] Speaker 2: have Messianic overtones.
[17:25] Speaker 4: But here you have.
[17:27] Speaker 2: A messianic psalm that speaks directly to what is going
[17:33] Speaker 2: to happen in the end to Jesus Christ. So the
[17:37] Speaker 2: Messianic overtone is clear, and it's clear in a number
[17:41] Speaker 2: of different ways. On the cross, when Jesus Christ says
[17:44] Speaker 2: Eli eli lama syboctany, My God, My God, why hast
[17:47] Speaker 2: thou forsaken me? He draws attention to the entirety that
[17:52] Speaker 2: text fulfilled in his own body, ultimately on the tree
[17:56] Speaker 2: in his passion. But we see that in the psalm
[18:01] Speaker 2: there is deliverance which is whole and complete. In other words,
[18:06] Speaker 2: this is not about separation in the Godhead. Rather, this
[18:12] Speaker 2: is about Christ, the sin bearer, the spotless lamb forever God,
[18:22] Speaker 2: separating us from our sin. For the text itself says,
[18:26] Speaker 2: for he has not despised or disdained the suffering of
[18:31] Speaker 2: the afflicted one. He has not hidden his face from him,
[18:35] Speaker 2: but has listened to his try for help. This is
[18:39] Speaker 2: true in an earthly sense with David, but in the
[18:42] Speaker 2: ultimate sense, it is true of Jesus Christ himself.
[18:46] Speaker 9: Okay, thank you, you got it.
[18:48] Speaker 2: Thank you very much for your call back to the
[18:49] Speaker 2: phone lines. We'll talk next to Scott listening on Ohio.
[18:53] Speaker 2: Hi Scott, Hi, Hank.
[18:55] Speaker 6: How are you, sir?
[18:56] Speaker 4: I'm good, Thank you great.
[18:58] Speaker 6: I just wanted to tell you I enjoy your program.
[19:00] Speaker 6: Your explanations are very clear, and I appreciate the job
[19:03] Speaker 6: you do. I had a question about where the Bible
[19:06] Speaker 6: speaks about reprobate mind. I know that it's in Romans
[19:11] Speaker 6: one twenty eight, if I'm not mistaken, and I just
[19:15] Speaker 6: was wondering if you can talk about that a little bit,
[19:18] Speaker 6: and I think it's in the book somewhere else where
[19:21] Speaker 6: it says God turned them over to a reprobate mind.
[19:25] Speaker 6: Maybe you can just help me out with that a
[19:27] Speaker 6: little bit. It's really my mom wants to know, and
[19:30] Speaker 6: I kind of know, but I would I would love
[19:32] Speaker 6: to hear your explanation.
[19:34] Speaker 2: Well, you know, God allows these people perversions, and those
[19:41] Speaker 2: perversions ultimately run the natural course in their lives and
[19:47] Speaker 2: as such become an active judgment. In other words, they've
[19:52] Speaker 2: given themselves over to sensuality in this context, just as
[19:59] Speaker 2: we also see Ephesians chapter four. And therefore they have
[20:05] Speaker 2: put themselves beyond salvation, not that they can't be saved,
[20:11] Speaker 2: but that they have hardened their heart like Pharaoh. And
[20:16] Speaker 2: mercy has become the occasioning for the hardening of their heart,
[20:21] Speaker 2: because every time God gives them grace, they respond in disobedience,
[20:27] Speaker 2: and so their heart becomes hardened, and eventually they're given
[20:32] Speaker 2: over to a depraved mind. And I can think of
[20:35] Speaker 2: some modern day people who seem to fit that category
[20:40] Speaker 2: as they rail against God in their lack of understanding.
[20:47] Speaker 6: Right, Okay, in real quick, kay, if you can just
[20:51] Speaker 6: I'm sorry I had another question, but you can just
[20:54] Speaker 6: touch on it for a minute if you can. About
[20:57] Speaker 6: how does a man know when he's been called to preach?
[21:03] Speaker 2: Well, we've all been called to preach. We've not all
[21:05] Speaker 2: been called to be preachers, but we've all been called
[21:08] Speaker 2: to preach. We've been all called as proclaimers of the Gospel.
[21:12] Speaker 2: And I think the real issue here is very much
[21:15] Speaker 2: like the gifts that we have is delineated in Romans
[21:18] Speaker 2: chapter twelve. Some people have the gift of prophecy. Some
[21:23] Speaker 2: people have the gift of teaching. Some people have the
[21:26] Speaker 2: gift of serving. Some people have the gift of giving.
[21:30] Speaker 2: Some people have the gift of leadership, some people of
[21:32] Speaker 2: the gift of mercy. So we have different gifts according
[21:36] Speaker 2: to the grace given us, and we have to exercise
[21:40] Speaker 2: the gifts that God has given us. Now we can
[21:42] Speaker 2: look at this two different ways. The gift of giving
[21:45] Speaker 2: is the most easy to understand example, which is to
[21:48] Speaker 2: say that there are people who have the gift of giving,
[21:51] Speaker 2: but giving is yet the responsibility of all people. The
[21:55] Speaker 2: same thing is true with preaching with respect to Christians,
[21:59] Speaker 2: and preaching could be classified as prophesying very correctly, not
[22:04] Speaker 2: only in the context of Romans twelve, but the context
[22:06] Speaker 2: of First Prinhes chapter fourteen. So every believer is called
[22:10] Speaker 2: to prophesy, to proclaim the word of God, and we
[22:16] Speaker 2: do that to edify people, to encourage people, to equip people,
[22:20] Speaker 2: to exhort people. So it is the calling of every person.
[22:24] Speaker 2: Now some people are called to make that their full
[22:30] Speaker 2: time occupation. They become a leading one, as it were,
[22:33] Speaker 2: within the church and through the gifting that they have
[22:37] Speaker 2: as a leading one, they along with the other coworkers,
[22:41] Speaker 2: because no one's elevated above anyone else can work for
[22:45] Speaker 2: the strengthening of the Body of Christ so that it
[22:48] Speaker 2: reaches full maturity.
[22:51] Speaker 6: Okay, So if I feel like the Lord has led
[22:55] Speaker 6: me to be a preacher and that he is forever
[22:59] Speaker 6: laying it out on me on my heart, these messages
[23:04] Speaker 6: so to speak, I mean they just come to me
[23:07] Speaker 6: all the time and to me and my own heart.
[23:11] Speaker 6: I feel like He's calling me to preach, to be
[23:13] Speaker 6: a preacher.
[23:14] Speaker 4: Well, what a blessing.
[23:15] Speaker 2: So study to show yourself approved a workman that need
[23:18] Speaker 2: not blush with embarrassment rightly discerning the word of truth.
[23:22] Speaker 2: I mean, what a great thing that you have this calling.
[23:24] Speaker 2: And when you have a calling, the answer to whether
[23:28] Speaker 2: this is a calling indeed or a calling that you
[23:32] Speaker 2: think is a calling is like a ship. You don't
[23:36] Speaker 2: stay in the harbor. You move out, and God's going
[23:38] Speaker 2: to open the door farther, or he is going to
[23:41] Speaker 2: start closing the door, or to use the ship metaphor,
[23:44] Speaker 2: he's going to put you out to see, or he's
[23:45] Speaker 2: going to leave you in the harbor. He's going to
[23:47] Speaker 2: shut the door to the wide open seas. So I
[23:50] Speaker 2: think what you want to do is move forward with
[23:53] Speaker 2: the calling that you sense, and likely God will continue
[23:57] Speaker 2: to open doors so that you can use the gifting
[23:59] Speaker 2: God has given you for his glory and for the extension.
[24:02] Speaker 4: Of His kingdom.
[24:03] Speaker 6: Yep, Okay, that helped a lot. I appreciate it.
[24:06] Speaker 4: You got it. Thanks for your call back the phone lines.
[24:10] Speaker 4: Talk to John in Cleveland, Ohio.
[24:12] Speaker 10: Hi John, Hi, Hank, an honor and a pleasure.
[24:16] Speaker 4: Nice to talk to you.
[24:17] Speaker 10: Thank you for allowing me to partay in your magnificent ministry.
[24:24] Speaker 10: Bless you, Hank. How are Jews judged in terms of
[24:29] Speaker 10: death the modern day Jews? Is it like they were
[24:33] Speaker 10: in the in the Bible, in the Gospel, whether they
[24:36] Speaker 10: be judged as a stick napped rebellious people.
[24:40] Speaker 2: Well, remember that everyone is judged by God faithfully, righteously, justly,
[24:50] Speaker 2: as a God of love and a God of justice,
[24:53] Speaker 2: and that it is not a matter of whether you're
[24:56] Speaker 2: a Jew, or whether you are Dutch, or whether you're English.
[25:01] Speaker 2: Should say, ultimately a matter of whether you have a
[25:04] Speaker 2: relationship with Yahweh, the God of Israel. And that's why
[25:07] Speaker 2: ruth A Moabite was judged to be true Israel because
[25:11] Speaker 2: she followed Yahweh, the God of Israel. So wasn't a
[25:14] Speaker 2: matter of whether you're a Jew, or whether you're a gentile,
[25:19] Speaker 2: or whether you're a Moabide or a Philistine. If you
[25:21] Speaker 2: believed in God, then you are counted as true Israel.
[25:25] Speaker 2: If you did not, then you were judged as all
[25:28] Speaker 2: those who are not of their father but of their father,
[25:33] Speaker 2: the devil. So you either have an opportunity of speaking
[25:38] Speaker 2: to your heavenly father, who created all things, or you
[25:41] Speaker 2: are of your father, of the devil. And that is
[25:43] Speaker 2: true whether you're a Jew or you are of any
[25:46] Speaker 2: other nationality, because ultimately it's not your ethnicity or your genealogy,
[25:50] Speaker 2: it's your relationship to the Son of God.
[25:54] Speaker 10: Goodness, thank you.
[25:56] Speaker 4: You got it.
