[0:07] Speaker 1: You're just in time for the Bible answer Man broadcast
[0:10] Speaker 1: with Hank Canagraph, the radio outreach of the Christian Research Institute.
[0:15] Speaker 1: Our purpose here at CRII is to equip Christians to
[0:19] Speaker 1: provide Biblical answers to life's most important questions, to read
[0:23] Speaker 1: the Bible for all it's worth, and counter the teachings
[0:26] Speaker 1: of cults and world religions that deviate from the plumb
[0:30] Speaker 1: line of God's word, because life and truth matter. For
[0:35] Speaker 1: more information, to order resources or donate, call eight eight
[0:38] Speaker 1: eight seven thousand CROI, or go online to equip dot org.
[0:44] Speaker 1: That's equip dot org. The following program was pre recorded.
[0:50] Speaker 1: Now here's the president of the Christian Research Institute, Hank Canagraph.
[0:55] Speaker 2: Thank you very much. Randy is always good to be
[0:57] Speaker 2: with you as we answer your questions throughout the United
[0:59] Speaker 2: States and ken a lot of you hanging on. We'll
[1:02] Speaker 2: go right to our phone callers. First up is Lindsay
[1:05] Speaker 2: listening in Memphis, Tennessee. Hi, Lindsay, how are you doing good?
[1:09] Speaker 2: How are you?
[1:10] Speaker 3: I'm fine. I've had this question that's been bothering me
[1:13] Speaker 3: for a long time, and the question is you know
[1:16] Speaker 3: Jesus said you know, don't be afraid of these things
[1:19] Speaker 3: that come to pass in the world. You know, you
[1:21] Speaker 3: know that we'll have wars, know that these things will happen.
[1:24] Speaker 3: How do you know what you're supposed to be driven
[1:28] Speaker 3: into changing and what you're supposed to leave alone? And
[1:30] Speaker 3: what is the will of God and what is not
[1:32] Speaker 3: the will for him to change himself? That's my struggle.
[1:38] Speaker 2: Yeah, well, you have essentially two things. One, we have
[1:42] Speaker 2: the great commission. We are called to change hearts through
[1:48] Speaker 2: the preaching of the gospel. That is a commission that
[1:50] Speaker 2: each one of us has ed. We are assured of
[1:54] Speaker 2: one thing. If you change the heart, you change the culture.
[1:58] Speaker 2: As the heart goes, goes the culture. That's the real
[2:03] Speaker 2: systemic answer to changing any culture. But we're also called
[2:08] Speaker 2: to tend the garden. So while we are called to
[2:11] Speaker 2: the great commission, we are equally called to the great
[2:16] Speaker 2: commission that we have been given as a commendment, to
[2:21] Speaker 2: take care of the earth that God has given us.
[2:26] Speaker 2: And when we do that, we recognize that we have
[2:29] Speaker 2: a responsibility in every realm of society. We have a
[2:35] Speaker 2: responsibility in the arts, we have a responsibility in education
[2:42] Speaker 2: in general. We have a responsibility in government. There's not
[2:48] Speaker 2: one square inch of this world that is not God's
[2:53] Speaker 2: over which he does not cry. That is mind.
[2:56] Speaker 3: We have the part that one to say with So
[3:00] Speaker 3: we should try to change everything we see that is wrong,
[3:02] Speaker 3: and the things we can't change, we just you know,
[3:06] Speaker 3: the things that we fight are the things that we
[3:08] Speaker 3: try so hard, and the people we try so hard
[3:10] Speaker 3: to say, if you make the effort to save them
[3:12] Speaker 3: your best, you know, human effort, with the help of
[3:15] Speaker 3: the Holy Spirit, that's all that you can do. But
[3:17] Speaker 3: you're called to make the effort when you see something wrong,
[3:20] Speaker 3: whether it's whether you have the power to change it
[3:22] Speaker 3: or not.
[3:23] Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, we're called to be faithful. We're not even
[3:26] Speaker 2: called to win. We're simply called to be faithful and fruitful,
[3:32] Speaker 2: to use our time, talent, and treasure for the extension
[3:36] Speaker 2: of His kingdom. And recognize that His kingdom is not
[3:41] Speaker 2: only in the now growing to fill the earth, but
[3:44] Speaker 2: one in which there will be an everlasting dominion. As
[3:48] Speaker 2: we reign with the King for all eternities. So we
[3:51] Speaker 2: are to count our lives not worthy, even unto death.
[3:54] Speaker 2: We are to make a difference while there is yet time.
[3:58] Speaker 3: And what I'm saying is, even if you tried and
[4:00] Speaker 3: you couldn't change it. Is that the way that God
[4:03] Speaker 3: wanted it, That he wanted you to try even if
[4:05] Speaker 3: you couldn't change it.
[4:06] Speaker 2: That's the point. The point is we need to be faithful.
[4:10] Speaker 2: It's not about we need to win. It's about we
[4:13] Speaker 2: need to be faithful daily stewards of the time, talent
[4:17] Speaker 2: and treasure that God has given us. All righty, thank you,
[4:22] Speaker 2: bless you. Back to our phone callers. Next to go.
[4:25] Speaker 2: Next to Billy listening in Charlotte, North Carolina.
[4:28] Speaker 4: Hi, Billy, Hey, Hank, thanks for taking my call.
[4:32] Speaker 2: You're welcome.
[4:34] Speaker 4: I was wondering there's a verse someplace in New Testament
[4:37] Speaker 4: that says that we have a spirit of discipline. Can
[4:41] Speaker 4: you shed some light on that?
[4:43] Speaker 2: Well? I don't know that I specifically can come up
[4:46] Speaker 2: with a verse that says that, But there is a
[4:49] Speaker 2: verse in two Timothy, chapter one that tells us that
[4:53] Speaker 2: the spirit God gave us doesn't make us timid, but
[4:59] Speaker 2: gives us power and love and self discipline. So I
[5:04] Speaker 2: think in essence Two Timothy, written by Paul, makes that point.
[5:09] Speaker 4: Okay, all right, I've got another question for you. James
[5:13] Speaker 4: five point twenty says, remember this in the NIV, whoever
[5:17] Speaker 4: turns a sinner from the air of his way will
[5:20] Speaker 4: save him from death. And a cover over a multitude
[5:22] Speaker 4: of sins whose sins are covered here.
[5:27] Speaker 2: Well, you're covering your own sins and covering their sins
[5:31] Speaker 2: as well. A multiplicity of sins are being covered because
[5:37] Speaker 2: we are told in scripture that we are wise if
[5:40] Speaker 2: we lead people to righteousness. We are also recognizing that
[5:46] Speaker 2: those who are led to righteousness are wise. And with
[5:51] Speaker 2: respect to leading people to righteousness, and let me say this,
[5:56] Speaker 2: spiritual disciplines are in effect spiritual exercce sizes, and with
[6:01] Speaker 2: respect to leading people to righteousness. In your earlier question
[6:06] Speaker 2: about a spirit of discipline, let me say this reminds
[6:10] Speaker 2: me of a football coach, Tom Landry, who used to
[6:14] Speaker 2: say the job of a good football coach is to
[6:18] Speaker 2: make men do what they don't want to do in
[6:22] Speaker 2: order to achieve what they've always wanted to achieve. In
[6:27] Speaker 2: much the same way, Christians are then called to make
[6:30] Speaker 2: themselves do something they would not ordinarily do in order
[6:36] Speaker 2: that they might become what they've always wanted to be,
[6:39] Speaker 2: that they might become like Jesus Christ. And that's the
[6:43] Speaker 2: problem with contemporary Christianity, it is that a vast majority
[6:48] Speaker 2: of Christians have never made the transition from declaration to discipleship.
[6:55] Speaker 2: They have never become slaves to righteousness. And if you
[7:01] Speaker 2: read C. S. Lewis's The Screwtape Letters, Uncle Screwtape is
[7:07] Speaker 2: displeased with Wormwood because his patient has become a Christian.
[7:13] Speaker 2: But there's hope. Why because a screwtape explains all the
[7:19] Speaker 2: habits of the patient, both mentally and bodily. Or still
[7:24] Speaker 2: in our favor, Screwtape knew full well that converts who
[7:29] Speaker 2: failed to embrace spiritual discipline, who failed to embrace discipleship,
[7:38] Speaker 2: would likewise fail to become genuinely christ Like. Put another way,
[7:44] Speaker 2: unless and until a convert becomes a slave to righteousness,
[7:50] Speaker 2: there is no need whatsoever for the forces of darkness
[7:56] Speaker 2: to be alarmed. We need to make that trans position
[8:00] Speaker 2: from declaration to discipleship, becoming slaves to righteousness, embracing the
[8:09] Speaker 2: spirit of discipline, as you asked in the first ones.
[8:12] Speaker 2: Back to the phone lines, Victor, next listening in Kansas.
[8:16] Speaker 5: High Victor, Hi, HENK, thanks for taking my call, my pleasure.
[8:20] Speaker 5: I've enjoyed and appreciated your ministry for many years since
[8:24] Speaker 5: about nineteen ninety five, Hank, I had a question about
[8:28] Speaker 5: a group that I've heard of and just wondered if
[8:31] Speaker 5: you It's called the Walk to a Mais, and I
[8:34] Speaker 5: wondered if you had any background on that many thoughts.
[8:37] Speaker 5: Is that something that one should be hesitant about in
[8:42] Speaker 5: signing people up or getting people interested in that within
[8:44] Speaker 5: a church setting, or do you know anything about that?
[8:47] Speaker 2: Yeah, we have a three paragraph statement on the Walk
[8:51] Speaker 2: to Ameis. It's designated as a seventy two hour mini
[8:55] Speaker 2: retreat sponsored by the Upper Room, which is a unit
[8:59] Speaker 2: of the Boarder Discipleship of the United Methodist Church. And
[9:04] Speaker 2: the statement points out that there have been various concerns
[9:09] Speaker 2: that have been raised over the years, such as secrecy
[9:13] Speaker 2: about the content that is shared, the liberal tendencies of
[9:17] Speaker 2: the Methodist Church, and because these walks are emotionally intense,
[9:24] Speaker 2: an experience oriented, and I've said many times in the
[9:26] Speaker 2: Bible answer Man broadcast that the experiences are notoriously unreliable.
[9:32] Speaker 2: These experiences oftentimes confuse and might not have the foundation
[9:38] Speaker 2: necessary in terms of certain Christians to be able to
[9:42] Speaker 2: assimilate those experiences in a positive way. However, we also
[9:47] Speaker 2: point out in this statement from the Christian Research Institute
[9:50] Speaker 2: that there have been many Christians that we have talked
[9:54] Speaker 2: to over the years who have benefited from participating. So
[9:59] Speaker 2: I don't think that you can broad brush this particular subject.
[10:03] Speaker 2: There have been Christians that have benefited greatly. Maybe it's
[10:06] Speaker 2: because of their own spiritual maturity, maybe it's because of
[10:09] Speaker 2: the particular speakers that were at the particular Walk to
[10:12] Speaker 2: a Mais event. I don't know, but anecdotally we have
[10:16] Speaker 2: talked to a good number of people who have benefited
[10:19] Speaker 2: from this. So we throw out the caution not to
[10:23] Speaker 2: broad brush the Walk to a Mais, but simply say,
[10:26] Speaker 2: here are a few things you might want to be
[10:28] Speaker 2: aware of. Right.
[10:30] Speaker 5: Have you had any experience with people who or churches
[10:35] Speaker 5: that have been have suffered division as a result of that.
[10:41] Speaker 2: Well, we've heard about it. I've heard about it personally
[10:44] Speaker 2: over the years. I went to one of these retreats
[10:48] Speaker 2: many many years ago. I would imagine it was somewheres
[10:51] Speaker 2: around twenty years ago or something like that. But I
[10:55] Speaker 2: have heard of such things, and I personally had a
[10:57] Speaker 2: negative experience when I went through a War to a Mais.
[11:01] Speaker 2: I've heard about it. But I've also, as I said,
[11:03] Speaker 2: on the other side of the coin, I've heard some
[11:05] Speaker 2: people with very beneficial comments about what they experienced. They'm
[11:09] Speaker 2: going to have to leave it at that statement available
[11:11] Speaker 2: for the Christian Research Institent be right back.

[14:05] Speaker 6: two books in one because Truth Matters. Part one equips
[14:09] Speaker 6: Christians to defend the essential truth of the historic Christian faith.
[14:13] Speaker 6: In part two, Hank explains why life matters more and
[14:17] Speaker 6: how we can experience the height of human existence union
[14:21] Speaker 6: with God in Christ. Simply put, the map is not
[14:24] Speaker 6: the territory. The menu is not the meal. We cheat
[14:27] Speaker 6: ourselves of authentic union with Christ when we elevate the
[14:31] Speaker 6: message above the Messiah. Truth Matters, Life Matters More is

[15:07] Speaker 1: Now back to the Bible answer Man broadcast and your
[15:10] Speaker 1: host and canagraph.
[15:12] Speaker 2: Let's go back to the phone lines. Doctor Craig listening
[15:15] Speaker 2: in Vancouver, British Columbia. Hey Greg, Hi, Heank.
[15:19] Speaker 7: Thanks for taking my call. My question is falls along
[15:23] Speaker 7: the lines of we're commanded to be salt and light,
[15:28] Speaker 7: and I'm wondering how that can be exemplified on the
[15:32] Speaker 7: political stage when certain truths come to light, but you
[15:37] Speaker 7: can see that they're not conveyed to the general public.
[15:40] Speaker 7: I'm wondering how what our responsibility is in light of that. Like,
[15:47] Speaker 7: for example, you can watch National Geographic or Oasis or
[15:51] Speaker 7: Discovery Channel and they have a lot of good stuff
[15:54] Speaker 7: on it until they start teaching you that how everything
[15:58] Speaker 7: evolved and how the theory of evolution is true, and
[16:03] Speaker 7: they teach it as truth, but in your heart you
[16:06] Speaker 7: know that none of it makes sense and the only
[16:09] Speaker 7: thing that really does make sense as a designer.
[16:12] Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, Craig, this is a perfect time to
[16:14] Speaker 2: underscore the fact that we need to know how to discern.
[16:18] Speaker 2: Discernment skills are really at a premium in an age
[16:23] Speaker 2: in which internet lies travel halfway around the world before
[16:26] Speaker 2: truth has had the chance to put its boots on.
[16:29] Speaker 2: It's critical that we learn discernment skills, and certainly when
[16:33] Speaker 2: it comes to you know, not just a apologetic issue, but
[16:37] Speaker 2: the apologetic issue. How one views their origins determines how
[16:41] Speaker 2: they live their life. And unfortunately, in the venues you
[16:44] Speaker 2: just mentioned and many others, they start with the evolutionary
[16:48] Speaker 2: a hypothesis. They start with the idea that nothing created
[16:51] Speaker 2: everything and expect everybody to lock step by into it.
[16:55] Speaker 2: If you're a professor, you don't dare say anything else
[16:57] Speaker 2: unless you have tenure. Then you might venture out on
[17:00] Speaker 2: that limb. But if you don't have tenure, you want
[17:02] Speaker 2: to mention that because you're likely to lose your job.
[17:06] Speaker 7: Yeah, okay, and that's true. We're brought up with that
[17:09] Speaker 7: in our public school system, and if you say anything
[17:13] Speaker 7: to the contrary, you're ostracized. But my concern is more
[17:20] Speaker 7: in mainstream news media, where people get their news and
[17:23] Speaker 7: they believe that all that all that they hear in
[17:25] Speaker 7: the news is true. And that's propagated as well. When
[17:28] Speaker 7: they start virtually everything. They come out with you with
[17:32] Speaker 7: a bunch of good truths that people can see and
[17:34] Speaker 7: follow along with, but then they then they spin it
[17:38] Speaker 7: and then people buy that spin. It's it's a great
[17:40] Speaker 7: deception that that people fall into. And I'm thinking of
[17:43] Speaker 7: climate change, for instance, and global warming and all that
[17:47] Speaker 7: and a lot of other propagated material that's important in
[17:52] Speaker 7: this in this world, and I'm wondering how we as
[17:55] Speaker 7: Christians should should respond to all that, because well, what
[17:58] Speaker 7: I'm really thinking of is Chris says that when you're
[18:01] Speaker 7: no longer salt, and you lose your saltiness, and you're
[18:03] Speaker 7: no longer being a preservative in a world that's prone
[18:07] Speaker 7: tomorrow decay, then you deserve nothing to be cast out
[18:11] Speaker 7: and trampled under by men. And I'm worried that that
[18:14] Speaker 7: that sort of thing might be taken literally or could
[18:17] Speaker 7: be taken literally.
[18:19] Speaker 2: Yeah, and let's take global warming for example. We're talking
[18:22] Speaker 2: about discernment skills. What we should be able to do well.
[18:26] Speaker 2: We should be able to ask the right question and
[18:28] Speaker 2: then ask the right question the right order. And the
[18:31] Speaker 2: initial question we might ask, is global warming a reality?
[18:36] Speaker 2: And try to answer that by looking at the evidence.
[18:38] Speaker 2: The second question is if the globe is warming, is
[18:43] Speaker 2: human activity behind that warming? The third question you can
[18:48] Speaker 2: ask is is global warming necessarily bad? So learn to
[18:53] Speaker 2: ask the right questions, because, as you point out, there's
[18:58] Speaker 2: a lot of sensationalism, there's a lot of sophistry. There's
[19:02] Speaker 2: a lot of sloppy journalism, and there is a lot
[19:05] Speaker 2: of spin, and we need to be very careful that
[19:10] Speaker 2: we consider the cost of having our eyes on the
[19:12] Speaker 2: wrong ball. If we participate in promoting political policies involving
[19:18] Speaker 2: trillions of dollars, there should be convincing evidence that global
[19:24] Speaker 2: warming is, as al Gore contends, the most pressing problem
[19:30] Speaker 2: facing the planet, because if we have our eyes on
[19:35] Speaker 2: the wrong ball, then there are a lot of very
[19:39] Speaker 2: important political measures that remain unfunded. In fact, I wrote
[19:44] Speaker 2: about that a little booklet. It's on critical thinking, it's
[19:47] Speaker 2: on discernments called how should you think about global warming? Oh?
[19:52] Speaker 2: I see, and this applies to many of the other
[19:55] Speaker 2: subjects that you allude to.
[19:58] Speaker 7: I see, well, that it's good that we have the
[20:02] Speaker 7: Internet because there's alternative news sources out there. But I'm
[20:07] Speaker 7: worried about what the Bible says about strong delusion, that
[20:11] Speaker 7: the Lord gave him over to strong delusions so that
[20:13] Speaker 7: they could believe a lie. And I see that a
[20:15] Speaker 7: lot of lying is going on, and I just want
[20:22] Speaker 7: to know what my place is and all that.
[20:23] Speaker 2: Well, you bring up the Internet, and you're right the
[20:26] Speaker 2: Internet is a lot of positives of the Internet. Certainly,
[20:29] Speaker 2: we don't want to diminish the value of the Internet.
[20:31] Speaker 2: But on the other hand, we need to learn again
[20:33] Speaker 2: what I started out saying to you, discernment skills. Because
[20:36] Speaker 2: Internet lies travel halfway around the world before truth has
[20:39] Speaker 2: had the chance to put his boots ons. We need
[20:41] Speaker 2: to learn discernment skills. So when we go to a website,
[20:44] Speaker 2: or we talk about a website, or we influence someone
[20:46] Speaker 2: with a particular website, we are pointing them in the
[20:51] Speaker 2: right direction. I mean, as one of the reasons I'm
[20:54] Speaker 2: so delighted as president of the Christian Research Instand to
[20:57] Speaker 2: be talking about equipped dot org an ongoing basis, because
[21:01] Speaker 2: the information that you find there is vetted and therefore
[21:05] Speaker 2: you can trust the information. If we don't know, we'll
[21:08] Speaker 2: tell you. If we do know, we will tell you.
[21:11] Speaker 2: And if there are two sides of the coin, we'll
[21:13] Speaker 2: let you know about that as well. We'll go back
[21:15] Speaker 2: to the phone lines. We'll talk next to Bob Bakersfield, California.
[21:19] Speaker 8: Hi, Bob, Hi, in your comments on the walk to
[21:22] Speaker 8: a mais, I've never done it. I've certainly heard people
[21:25] Speaker 8: say how inspiring it was to them, and I thought
[21:27] Speaker 8: your comments were very vague as to help me to
[21:31] Speaker 8: understand what are they likely to tell me that I
[21:34] Speaker 8: shouldn't here.
[21:35] Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, basically what I said is that there are
[21:38] Speaker 2: two sides to the coin, and the evidence by and
[21:41] Speaker 2: large is fairly anecdotal, and there's a reason for that.
[21:44] Speaker 2: There's a secrecy about the content shared.
[21:47] Speaker 8: Now that's what is What do you mean by secrecy?
[21:49] Speaker 8: They're telling you things and they'll tell you not not
[21:52] Speaker 8: to tell anybody else.
[21:53] Speaker 2: Exactly. That's exactly what happened.
[21:54] Speaker 8: I've never heard that.
[21:55] Speaker 2: Well, I've experienced it personally.
[21:57] Speaker 8: Wow. Yeah, okay, thanks.
[22:01] Speaker 2: You got it. Thank you so much for your call.
[22:02] Speaker 2: And as far as the Bible answer Man broadcast is concerned,
[22:06] Speaker 2: I will tell you one thing I will never do.
[22:10] Speaker 2: I will never tell you something out of expediency to
[22:15] Speaker 2: be politically correct, to be popular. We do what we
[22:19] Speaker 2: do because truth matters. Back to the phone line, Stephen
[22:24] Speaker 2: next in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Hih Stephen, Hello Haunk.
[22:29] Speaker 9: Thank you for the great insight to share regarding the scripture.
[22:34] Speaker 2: Thank you.
[22:35] Speaker 9: My question has to do with, as a quation, what
[22:38] Speaker 9: is the right way for Christians to respond in those
[22:41] Speaker 9: attacks that lead to killings of entire family members.
[22:45] Speaker 2: Yeah, well, a couple of things. And I want to
[22:47] Speaker 2: answer that question directly, but I think it's important to
[22:50] Speaker 2: have some prologue to an answer, and that is think
[22:53] Speaker 2: about the early Christian Church, which grew up in the
[22:56] Speaker 2: epicenter of a Caesar cult. So in that particular culture,
[23:01] Speaker 2: you had to say Caesar is Lord. In some cases
[23:05] Speaker 2: you had to say Caesar is Savior, because it's only
[23:10] Speaker 2: through the Caesar cult that one ultimately can be saved. Well,
[23:16] Speaker 2: you know, Christians were not willing to do that. When
[23:18] Speaker 2: they were baptized, the first thing they said was Christ
[23:22] Speaker 2: is Lord. And as a result of that, they were persecuted,
[23:25] Speaker 2: they were killed, But yet they lived with eternity in mind. Now,
[23:31] Speaker 2: was it wrong for them to use a defensive weapon
[23:36] Speaker 2: to protect themselves? Was it wrong for them to protect
[23:41] Speaker 2: the innocent against an aggressor the greater good being to
[23:45] Speaker 2: save a life as opposed to losing a life. So
[23:49] Speaker 2: there are cases that I'm sure in the first century,
[23:53] Speaker 2: like Rayhab, there were misleading statements so as to save
[23:58] Speaker 2: someone who was innocent and was serving with vigilance the
[24:05] Speaker 2: cause of Christ. So I think it's important to recognize
[24:07] Speaker 2: on the one hand that yeah, it's a maxim that
[24:11] Speaker 2: if you're truly serving Christ, you will suffer persecution. And
[24:16] Speaker 2: we are in fact called to recognize that as we
[24:20] Speaker 2: are persecuted for Christ, we have eternity as our hope,
[24:25] Speaker 2: we have eternity as our destiny. But that does not
[24:28] Speaker 2: mean that we cannot be wise as serpents, gentle as doves.
[24:30] Speaker 2: It doesn't mean that we can't even protect ourselves. We
[24:33] Speaker 2: can protect ourselves against an evil aggressor. We did it
[24:37] Speaker 2: not only as one nation against Hitler at one point,
[24:40] Speaker 2: but by the same principle, we can do it as
[24:43] Speaker 2: one individual against another.
[24:45] Speaker 9: Thank you so much, Hanka. I have another question to
[24:48] Speaker 9: ask you, and this has to do with one preacher
[24:52] Speaker 9: that lived and died until nineteen sixty eight, William Marion Breha.
[24:57] Speaker 9: His movement today is called the Timers. I want to
[25:02] Speaker 9: know if William Marion Braham was the prophet that said
[25:06] Speaker 9: he is the one that would come in the spirit
[25:11] Speaker 9: of Elijah Ah his false prophet.
[25:14] Speaker 2: Well, he's absolutely a false prophet. In fact, to your point,
[25:18] Speaker 2: in terms of making predictions, he made a lot of
[25:22] Speaker 2: false predictions and we can now look and see firsthand
[25:26] Speaker 2: that the predictions that he made were false predictions because
[25:30] Speaker 2: the time has come and gone. He fancied himself as
[25:33] Speaker 2: the Angel to the end time Church of Ladicea. He
[25:36] Speaker 2: proclaimed that by nineteen seventy seven all denominations would be
[25:40] Speaker 2: consumed by the World Council of Churches under the control
[25:43] Speaker 2: of the Roman Catholics, and that the rapture would take
[25:46] Speaker 2: place in the world would be destroyed. But not only that,
[25:50] Speaker 2: on top of false prophecies, he also taught false doctrine,
[25:55] Speaker 2: including his communication that Trinitarianism is of the devil. So
[26:00] Speaker 2: he is not someone that I would recommend. In fact,
[26:03] Speaker 2: he is someone I wrote about in a book called
[26:04] Speaker 2: Counterfeit Revival, available through the Ministry of the Christian Research Institute.
