[0:07] Speaker 1: From the Christian Research Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina. You're
[0:11] Speaker 1: listening to the Bible answer Man broadcast with Hank Hanagraph.
[0:15] Speaker 1: We're on the air because life and truth matter. The
[0:19] Speaker 1: mission of the Christian Research Institute is to equip believers
[0:22] Speaker 1: to answer life's essential questions soundly and persuasively, and to
[0:27] Speaker 1: give the reason for the hope that you have with
[0:30] Speaker 1: gentleness and respect. For more information, go online to equip
[0:35] Speaker 1: dot org. The following program was pre recorded and now
[0:40] Speaker 1: here's Bible answer Man host Hank Canagraph.
[0:43] Speaker 2: Thanks very much, Randy, and it is good to be
[0:45] Speaker 2: in studio. Let's go right to the phone lines. First
[0:48] Speaker 2: up today as Rick. He's listing on the web in Kelso, Washington.
[0:53] Speaker 3: Hi Rick, Hi, Hank. I just wanted you to know
[0:58] Speaker 3: that I am so glad that your ministry is there
[1:02] Speaker 3: and doing what to do. You're a blessing to all
[1:05] Speaker 3: of us.
[1:06] Speaker 2: Thank you.
[1:07] Speaker 3: My understanding is similar to yours that when Christ comes back,
[1:11] Speaker 3: game over, and I was wondering about all the things
[1:16] Speaker 3: going on in the world, and I was wondering if
[1:18] Speaker 3: there's any more prophecies that need to be fulfilled before
[1:22] Speaker 3: Christ's return.
[1:23] Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, Rick, The point is simply this. When we
[1:26] Speaker 2: say game over, what we're talking about is when Jesus
[1:31] Speaker 2: Christ returns, and we do not have any event that
[1:35] Speaker 2: precludes his return, nor do we have any unfulfilled prophecies,
[1:40] Speaker 2: save this that Jesus Christ will return. What he does,
[1:46] Speaker 2: he will forever deal with the problem of sin Satan.
[1:53] Speaker 2: We will be resurrected, immortal, imperishable, incorruptible. The universe it's
[2:00] Speaker 2: self that now groans and travail, will be liberated from
[2:03] Speaker 2: its bondage to decay, and the eternal state will then
[2:10] Speaker 2: be a forever state for all of us. It will
[2:14] Speaker 2: be a reality as we learn and grow and develop
[2:17] Speaker 2: without error, and as forever we explore the glories the
[2:24] Speaker 2: grandeur of the One who saved us by his grace.
[2:28] Speaker 2: In the meantime, we're called to be faithful and fruitful.
[2:33] Speaker 2: We're called to communicate our faith with power and passion,
[2:38] Speaker 2: not our own power, but the power of the Holy Spirit.
[2:43] Speaker 2: And we're called to learn to rightly divide the Word
[2:46] Speaker 2: of truth so that the Word does not become a
[2:50] Speaker 2: mockery in the eyes of believers, but rather becomes a
[2:54] Speaker 2: convicting force, so that people might not be scared away
[2:59] Speaker 2: from from the faith or solidified against the faith, but
[3:05] Speaker 2: might be convicted by the faith of genuine believers. When
[3:11] Speaker 2: you see their reality, you want so much to be
[3:15] Speaker 2: like them. And that's what happened in the early Church.
[3:18] Speaker 2: They looked at the believers and they said, wow, see
[3:21] Speaker 2: how they love one another, and the love of Christ
[3:25] Speaker 2: constrained them to come.
[3:27] Speaker 3: Yeah, so there. What's happening then, is we're just basically
[3:33] Speaker 3: supposed to do what Christ wants us to do on
[3:38] Speaker 3: the earth and just be expecting his return.
[3:42] Speaker 2: Then yeah, and again this may sound trite, but it's
[3:46] Speaker 2: a good thing to remember. We need to prepare as
[3:50] Speaker 2: though as coming is a long ways off. We need
[3:54] Speaker 2: to be prepared as though he might come in the
[3:58] Speaker 2: next millisecond. Must always be prepared. On the one hand,
[4:03] Speaker 2: because the reality is this, we're all one heartbeat away
[4:06] Speaker 2: from eternity, so we must live our lives with the
[4:10] Speaker 2: reality that Christ's coming for every one of us is
[4:14] Speaker 2: right around the quarter.
[4:16] Speaker 3: Well, thank you for that. It has settled my heart nicely.
[4:21] Speaker 2: Well, bless you, Rick, Thank you so much for your call.
[4:24] Speaker 3: Thank you God, Bless God.
[4:25] Speaker 2: Bless you. And want to go back to the phone lines.
[4:27] Speaker 2: Now talk to Peter listening on the web in West
[4:29] Speaker 2: Palm Beach, Florida. Hi, Peter, Hey, how you doing. I'm
[4:33] Speaker 2: doing well, nice talking to you.
[4:35] Speaker 4: All right. My question basically about what the government shouldn't
[4:38] Speaker 4: and should legislate biblically and be more specific, I had
[4:42] Speaker 4: a disagreement with a guy from church the other day
[4:45] Speaker 4: about basically minimum wage laws, and we both agreed that
[4:48] Speaker 4: the governments start to punish those who do evil and
[4:50] Speaker 4: praise those who are too good, and that it's instituted
[4:53] Speaker 4: by God. But when we started talking about minimum wage laws,
[4:56] Speaker 4: he said that people who don't get paid enough whatever
[4:58] Speaker 4: that means, are victims of evil from business owners. So
[5:01] Speaker 4: minimum wage laws is how our government is punishing or
[5:04] Speaker 4: restraining evil by legislating laws like that. So I was
[5:07] Speaker 4: wondering could be supported biblically with Old Testament laws such
[5:10] Speaker 4: as do not read the entire field or leave glinings
[5:13] Speaker 4: for the poor.
[5:14] Speaker 2: Well, I think there are principles in the Old Testament law.
[5:17] Speaker 2: But remember the Old Testament law dealt with a theocratic
[5:21] Speaker 2: kingdom where God had direct rule over a people, and
[5:25] Speaker 2: so we can't take the theocratic government in its particularities
[5:29] Speaker 2: it was a very unique situation and apply them to
[5:33] Speaker 2: today's situation. But in general terms, I think the principle
[5:37] Speaker 2: here is that the government is to maintain order stability
[5:42] Speaker 2: within a society, and as such, we fear the government
[5:46] Speaker 2: because the government punishes wrongdoing. But when the government itself
[5:51] Speaker 2: becomes a wrongdoer, obviously we don't support the government. So
[5:55] Speaker 2: if you're in China and you're pregnant and the government said,
[6:00] Speaker 2: as you have to abort that child, you disobey the government.
[6:04] Speaker 2: Because God's law of life exceeds whatever human law there
[6:11] Speaker 2: is that might contradict it. So we always first obey
[6:15] Speaker 2: God and after that the government. We must obey God
[6:20] Speaker 2: rather than men. We're told in Acts chapter five. The
[6:24] Speaker 2: example is a clear narrative in which the Sanhedron had
[6:30] Speaker 2: prohibited the apostles from proclaiming Christ crucified and resurrected. Well,
[6:36] Speaker 2: that was a central message of Christianity. So what happened
[6:40] Speaker 2: is the apostle said, we're not going to do that.
[6:44] Speaker 2: We are going to stick with what we have been
[6:47] Speaker 2: commissioned to do. We're going to preach Christ crucified. We're
[6:52] Speaker 2: to preach Christ resurrected because we must obey God rather
[6:58] Speaker 2: than men. So Christians can disagree in particulars of politics
[7:04] Speaker 2: and public policy, but ultimately the principle is in violent.
[7:10] Speaker 2: Let's go back to the phone lines. We'll talk next
[7:12] Speaker 2: to Ken. He's listening on the web in Yunkers, New York. Hi, Ken, Hi,
[7:19] Speaker 2: how you doing good?
[7:20] Speaker 5: Good?
[7:22] Speaker 4: A question I have is about Proverse eighteen twenty one.
[7:25] Speaker 4: We got into a discussion in my church.
[7:28] Speaker 3: The question was.
[7:28] Speaker 4: I teach a small Bible class in my church and
[7:31] Speaker 4: one of the students says.
[7:33] Speaker 3: Plenty that of the world has power, and he.
[7:36] Speaker 4: Brought up that first told the world about has power.
[7:41] Speaker 4: Well be ours that don't have power.
[7:43] Speaker 5: It's like kind of like they declare something to their
[7:46] Speaker 5: to their kids.
[7:47] Speaker 1: Or something who's pad and that will come to a reality.
[7:50] Speaker 5: I told them, no, that's not what it says in
[7:52] Speaker 5: that verse. And I want to see. I want to
[7:53] Speaker 5: see what should.
[7:54] Speaker 2: Take on that. Yeah, the passage that says the tongue
[7:57] Speaker 2: has the power of life and death, and those who
[8:01] Speaker 2: love it will eat its fruit. I think that what
[8:05] Speaker 2: you have here is a powerful statement. It's not a
[8:09] Speaker 2: statement intended to communicate that words can create reality. That
[8:16] Speaker 2: is against a biblical worldview or paradigm. But rather it
[8:20] Speaker 2: is a passage designed to tell us that our tongue
[8:24] Speaker 2: can have a devastating impact on the life of another person.
[8:30] Speaker 2: And I've often said that the second most dangerous thing
[8:34] Speaker 2: in the world is a loaded forty five revolver. The
[8:39] Speaker 2: first is the human tongue. Therefore, we as Christians, have
[8:46] Speaker 2: been called to become stewards of the tongue. We must
[8:54] Speaker 2: use the tongue for blessing, for building up, for communicating
[9:02] Speaker 2: the faith once for all delivered to the saints. But
[9:06] Speaker 2: we must never use the tongue for breaking down principles
[9:13] Speaker 2: or the biblical paradigm. That we are called to be
[9:18] Speaker 2: witnesses too, And that's something each one of us, me included,
[9:24] Speaker 2: needs to take very very seriously. And I find that
[9:29] Speaker 2: sometimes as I travel, I find out that people make
[9:32] Speaker 2: life decisions based on a statement that I made on
[9:37] Speaker 2: the radio, which wasn't even my main point. And if
[9:40] Speaker 2: that doesn't put the fear of God into you, nothing will.
[9:43] Speaker 2: So you choose your words carefully. You never come into
[9:48] Speaker 2: the studio if you're in my position without praying and
[9:52] Speaker 2: asking the Lord to use you, not by might nor
[9:55] Speaker 2: by power, but by his spirit, and we all recogn
[10:00] Speaker 2: is that our tongues can speak life and to the
[10:05] Speaker 2: reality of another person or devastate that person. Again in
[10:12] Speaker 2: saying that we're not saying that words can create reality,
[10:17] Speaker 2: I've written a whole book against that very notion, which
[10:19] Speaker 2: is part and parcel of the Word of Faith movement,
[10:23] Speaker 2: in which they communicate that faith is a force. It's
[10:26] Speaker 2: a tangible force. Words are the containers of the force,
[10:30] Speaker 2: and through the force of faith, one can create their
[10:34] Speaker 2: own reality. As we go to break if you can
[10:37] Speaker 2: support the ministry, it would be deeply appreciated, and trust me,
[10:42] Speaker 2: it will be used for God's glory and for the
[10:44] Speaker 2: extension of His kingdom. You can give via the Internet

[12:01] Speaker 6: Hank Hanigraph has dedicated his life to defending truth Because
[12:05] Speaker 6: Truth Matters. Yet, an encounter with Christians in the underground
[12:08] Speaker 6: Church of China left Hanograph contemplating his Christian experience. They
[12:12] Speaker 6: were experiencing something beyond truth. They were experiencing life. Truth matters.
[12:18] Speaker 6: Life matters More by Hank Hanigraph is two books in one,
[12:21] Speaker 6: Because Truth Matters. Part one equips Christians to defend the
[12:25] Speaker 6: essential truths of the historic Christian faith. In Part two,
[12:28] Speaker 6: Hank explains why life matters more and how we can
[12:31] Speaker 6: experience the height of human existence union with God. Prepare

[13:00] Speaker 1: Bertrand Russell famously said most people would rather die than think,
[13:06] Speaker 1: and many of them do not so with CRI Support
[13:10] Speaker 1: Team members. Support Team members are not only serious thinkers,
[13:14] Speaker 1: but their membership and CRI's Support Team helps to equip
[13:18] Speaker 1: hundreds of thousands of fellow believers around the globe each

[14:03] Speaker 1: the code. If the Book of Revelation has become an
[14:05] Speaker 1: international obsession, the result has been rampant misreading of scripture,
[14:10] Speaker 1: bad theology, and even bad politics and foreign policy. In
[14:14] Speaker 1: the Apocalypse Code, find out what the Bible really says
[14:17] Speaker 1: about the end times and why it matters today. Hank
[14:20] Speaker 1: Canagraph argues that the key to understanding the Last Book
[14:24] Speaker 1: of the Bible is the other sixty five books of
[14:26] Speaker 1: the Bible, not current events or recent history. The Apocalypse
[14:31] Speaker 1: Code offers sane answers to some very controversial questions, such
[14:35] Speaker 1: as what does it mean to take the Book of
[14:37] Speaker 1: Revelation literally? Who are the Antichrist and the Great Horror
[14:40] Speaker 1: of Babylon? And what is the real meaning of six
[14:43] Speaker 1: hundred and sixty six. Order The Apocalypse Code by Hank

[15:08] Speaker 1: Man Broadcast and your host and Canagraph.
[15:12] Speaker 2: Thank very much for Randy, and let's go back to
[15:13] Speaker 2: the phone lines. Talk to Rodney listening on Memphis, Tennessee. Hi, Rodney, Hi,
[15:19] Speaker 2: thanks for take him a call, my pleasure.
[15:22] Speaker 4: You got a quick question for you. You have information
[15:25] Speaker 4: on the Yahweh Bin Yahweh movement and what the beliefs
[15:29] Speaker 4: are for that religious Yeah.
[15:31] Speaker 2: Yahweh bin Yahweh died in two thousand and seven. His
[15:35] Speaker 2: name was Hulan Mitchell Junior, and he was leader of
[15:39] Speaker 2: the Nation of Yahweh cult, and he founded the Nation
[15:44] Speaker 2: of Yahweh back in nineteen seventy nine. It was also
[15:48] Speaker 2: known as the Nation of Israel or as the Black
[15:53] Speaker 2: Hebrew Israelites, and the basic idea was that he was
[16:01] Speaker 2: the son of God, that blacks were the lost tribe
[16:06] Speaker 2: of Judah, and that Jews and other whites are devils.
[16:12] Speaker 2: So it was a really bizarre religious movement. I want
[16:18] Speaker 2: to go back to the phone lines. Let's talk next
[16:21] Speaker 2: with Joshua listening on Charlotte, North Carolina. Hi, Joshua, how
[16:26] Speaker 2: are you, Hank good? How are you good? Good?
[16:29] Speaker 3: My question is when they say that the Bible is
[16:32] Speaker 3: tampered with you and all the Qoran it takes from
[16:36] Speaker 3: the Bible, Well.
[16:37] Speaker 2: The Quran and the Bible are completely different messages, and
[16:41] Speaker 2: the Quran is replete with factual mistakes as well as
[16:46] Speaker 2: with faulty ethics. You can't say the same thing with
[16:49] Speaker 2: the Bible. When you look at the manuscript copies, however,
[16:52] Speaker 2: you can find mistakes in the manuscripts, But because there
[16:57] Speaker 2: are so many manuscripts, those mistakes become self evident, and
[17:01] Speaker 2: some of the mistakes are just ferreted out as a
[17:03] Speaker 2: result of common sense. So while the copyists set a
[17:07] Speaker 2: very very high standard, unparalleled in ancient literature, in their
[17:12] Speaker 2: copyist practices, they still did make mistakes. Classic example is
[17:17] Speaker 2: Second Chronicles twenty two to two. It's riveted in our
[17:21] Speaker 2: minds because it has a memorable address. Not only that,
[17:25] Speaker 2: but it has a lot of political intrigue, and some
[17:29] Speaker 2: translations as Second Chronicles, such as the King James version
[17:32] Speaker 2: of a New King James version, identify a Haziah, the
[17:38] Speaker 2: youngest son of Jehoram, as forty two years of age,
[17:44] Speaker 2: and then the parallel passage has him exactly twenty years
[17:50] Speaker 2: younger when he mounted the throne. And so you have
[17:53] Speaker 2: a problem. Was a Haziah twenty two or was he
[17:57] Speaker 2: forty two when he became king? But as with other
[18:01] Speaker 2: copyist errors, the question is easily resolved by a look
[18:06] Speaker 2: at the contextus two verses. Prior to the error, we
[18:09] Speaker 2: read that a Haziah's father Joram, whose death, by the way,
[18:15] Speaker 2: like the death of Judas famously includes a description is
[18:19] Speaker 2: spilled out bowels I was forty years old when he died,
[18:23] Speaker 2: So you have this aha moment. Ahaziah would obviously not
[18:27] Speaker 2: have been older than his father. So here's a case
[18:30] Speaker 2: where common sense comes to the rescue. You don't even
[18:33] Speaker 2: need to compare a manuscript with another manuscript. Common sense
[18:38] Speaker 2: let you know that Ahazi couldn't have been older than
[18:41] Speaker 2: his father. So here's the basic point. The Old Testament
[18:45] Speaker 2: scribal luminaries, ranging from Ezra to the Mezerites, set an
[18:49] Speaker 2: unimaginable standard of excellence in their copyist practices, a standard
[18:54] Speaker 2: that would provide us with complete confidence in the Old
[18:57] Speaker 2: Testament canon. But they made mistakes, and that's why we
[19:01] Speaker 2: have the tenacity of the text, out of which the
[19:04] Speaker 2: autograph emerges from the textual evidence that we have through
[19:09] Speaker 2: a practice that's called the science of textual analysis or
[19:13] Speaker 2: sometimes called the science of textual criticism. So you compare
[19:17] Speaker 2: one text with another text, and as a result of that,
[19:20] Speaker 2: you come up with the autograph. So the autograph isn't
[19:23] Speaker 2: under glass somewhere in Rome or in Israel. The autograph
[19:27] Speaker 2: is actually encapsulated within the manuscript evidence that we have,
[19:33] Speaker 2: and again, by comparing one manuscript with another manuscript, you
[19:36] Speaker 2: ultimately will come up with the photographer. And that's why
[19:39] Speaker 2: we can trust the translations that we have. Today, We'll
[19:43] Speaker 2: to go back to the phone lines. Let's talk to David.
[19:46] Speaker 2: He's listening in Nune Lee, Tennessee. Hi David, Hi Dang.
[19:50] Speaker 5: It's a pleasure to talk to you once again. I've
[19:52] Speaker 5: spoken to you once before. Yes, sir, I have this
[19:54] Speaker 5: quick question, Sir, tell me, is it possible that the
[19:57] Speaker 5: mark of the beast could be WW instead of six
[20:01] Speaker 5: sixty six? Because it says in the Bible that it
[20:03] Speaker 5: could be the name, which makes me believe that it
[20:06] Speaker 5: could be a letter instead of a number, and that
[20:08] Speaker 5: would be a perfect way of the double deceiving people
[20:11] Speaker 5: because in supermarkets so you have to run all your
[20:14] Speaker 5: grocery source scanner. So I'm thinking it one day that
[20:17] Speaker 5: it'll be a computer chip that will be inserted into
[20:20] Speaker 5: a palm or into forehead is popular belief. What I've
[20:23] Speaker 5: been what I've been hearing. Can you tell me what's
[20:27] Speaker 5: your you know thinking on that?
[20:29] Speaker 2: Well, first of all, there's no possibility that this has
[20:32] Speaker 2: anything to do with the present. I mean, this is
[20:35] Speaker 2: the same kind of foolishness, unfortunately, that we have been
[20:39] Speaker 2: involved in with respect to Harold Camping. Harold Camping thought
[20:44] Speaker 2: that he knew that he could predict the time as
[20:47] Speaker 2: a result of misreading the scriptures, and this notion of
[20:51] Speaker 2: the mark of the beast being a microchip is also
[20:54] Speaker 2: a misreading a scripture. Contrary to this kind of newspapers scatology,
[21:00] Speaker 2: there's no biblical basis for believing that the mark of
[21:03] Speaker 2: the beast is a silicon microchip. What's really going on
[21:08] Speaker 2: from a Biblical perspective is the mark of the beast.
[21:11] Speaker 2: It's a parody. It's a parody the mark of the lamb.
[21:14] Speaker 2: So just as the mark on the foreheads of the
[21:16] Speaker 2: one hundred and forty four thousand in Revelation chapter fourteen
[21:21] Speaker 2: symbolizes identity with the lamb, the mark in Revelation thirteen
[21:27] Speaker 2: symbolizes identity with the beast. So when Jesus says on
[21:34] Speaker 2: him who overcomes, I will write the name of my God,
[21:38] Speaker 2: the name of the city of my God. I will
[21:40] Speaker 2: also write on him my new name, we intuitively should
[21:45] Speaker 2: realize that he doesn't have a magic marker in mind.
[21:51] Speaker 2: As far as the historical idea of the mark of
[21:55] Speaker 2: the beast. Remember that this mark was foretold within historical context,
[22:03] Speaker 2: and with wisdom and insight, we're told that we would
[22:09] Speaker 2: be able to find out what this number actually revealed.
[22:15] Speaker 2: This was written to a first century audience, told that
[22:20] Speaker 2: if they had the wisdom, if they had the knowledge,
[22:23] Speaker 2: if they had the insight and understanding, they would be
[22:27] Speaker 2: able to understand and calculate the number of the beast. Now,
[22:34] Speaker 2: obviously no first century crowd could identify the number of
[22:39] Speaker 2: a twenty first century beast. So this has nothing to
[22:43] Speaker 2: do whatsoever with what is going on in the twenty
[22:46] Speaker 2: first century. It has to do with what went on
[22:50] Speaker 2: in the first century. Now, one other point, and that is,
[22:55] Speaker 2: by way of principle, the mark of the beast still
[22:59] Speaker 2: has relevance, just as the mark of the Lamb has relevance.
[23:05] Speaker 2: In other words, you are marked out for the Lamb,
[23:07] Speaker 2: marked out for Christ by what you do in your worldview.
[23:14] Speaker 2: It identifies you in terms of who you belong to,
[23:19] Speaker 2: in such a way that no one should ever mistake
[23:22] Speaker 2: who you belong to. So it should be easy to
[23:25] Speaker 2: distinguish between those who have the mark of the Lamb
[23:28] Speaker 2: and those who are the mark of the beast.
[23:30] Speaker 5: Doesn't it say that those that will refuse the mark
[23:33] Speaker 5: will be in jail for ten days and then be headed.
[23:38] Speaker 2: Well, And that's another point which puts it in a
[23:41] Speaker 2: historical context. And the basic idea is that those who
[23:46] Speaker 2: are faithful and fruitful will suffer for a short time
[23:51] Speaker 2: ten days, and those who persevere will be vindicated for
[23:56] Speaker 2: a thousand years. In other words, their vindication will be
[24:00] Speaker 2: an eternal vindication. So again, this has nothing whatsoever to
[24:04] Speaker 2: do except in principle with the twenty first century. In principle,
[24:10] Speaker 2: it applies to us, but it deals specifically with a
[24:14] Speaker 2: first century context.
[24:17] Speaker 5: Okay, thank you. I have a real quick question, sir.
[24:20] Speaker 5: One of your previous programs, you said that where Jesus
[24:23] Speaker 5: said that you will tell this mountain move yourself and
[24:27] Speaker 5: it will do so. So isn't it in a sense
[24:30] Speaker 5: speaking of reality. Isn't he saying that you'll have the
[24:35] Speaker 5: power of the authority to tell this mountain to move itself.
[24:38] Speaker 2: Yeah? But again, context, context, context, the context.
[24:41] Speaker 5: That's not taking it out of context.
[24:43] Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, because if you go to the verse that
[24:46] Speaker 2: precedes the verse that you're talking about, I don't have
[24:48] Speaker 2: it at my fingertips here. But the point is the
[24:51] Speaker 2: verse that precedes that. If you look at it, it
[24:53] Speaker 2: starts with the words have faith in God.
[24:57] Speaker 5: And anything will be possible.
[24:59] Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, because God can do anything. Right. If God
[25:03] Speaker 2: wants to move a mountain, he could not only pick
[25:05] Speaker 2: it up and put it in the midst of the sea,
[25:07] Speaker 2: but make sure he doesn't put it up into the
[25:09] Speaker 2: midst of the sea on a fishing fleet somewhere. So
[25:14] Speaker 2: the point here is have faith in God, because if
[25:16] Speaker 2: you have faith in God, anything is possible. And the
[25:19] Speaker 2: other point of this is that it's really critical that
[25:23] Speaker 2: our faith is properly placed. If it's faith in God,
[25:28] Speaker 2: it's well placed faith because God doesn't just see a
[25:31] Speaker 2: snapshot of your life. He sees the whole of your life.
[25:34] Speaker 2: So you want to have faith in God. But if
[25:36] Speaker 2: your faith is in your own faith, and you say, well,
[25:38] Speaker 2: I can muster up enough faith, and with that faith
[25:41] Speaker 2: that I muster up, I can move a mountain, or
[25:43] Speaker 2: I can create my own reality, then that's credulity, not
[25:46] Speaker 2: real faith. I've written about this is the mark of
[25:50] Speaker 2: the beast a microchip. In answer to your question, in
