[0:07] Speaker 1: From Charlotte, North Carolina. You're listening to the Bible answer
[0:11] Speaker 1: Man Broadcast with Hank Hanagraph, president of the Christian Research Institute.
[0:16] Speaker 1: The reason the Bible answer Man is on the air
[0:18] Speaker 1: is to defend the Christian faith, proclaim the gospel of
[0:22] Speaker 1: our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to teach discipleship
[0:26] Speaker 1: to his followers, because life and truth matter. For more
[0:30] Speaker 1: information or to order equipping resources, call eight eight eight
[0:34] Speaker 1: seven thousand CRII, which translates to eight eight eight seven
[0:39] Speaker 1: thousand two seven four, or go online to equip dot org.
[0:44] Speaker 1: That's equip dot org. The following program was pre recorded,
[0:50] Speaker 1: and now here's your host, Hank Hanagraph.
[0:53] Speaker 2: Thank you very much, Brandy, and we're going right to
[0:56] Speaker 2: our phone callers. First up today Jamie listening in Georgia.
[1:01] Speaker 3: Hi, Jamie, Hey, Hey, appreciate you having me on the broadcast.
[1:05] Speaker 2: You're welcome.
[1:06] Speaker 3: The question I have for you is, if Satan knew
[1:09] Speaker 3: that Jesus was God, why would he even try to
[1:12] Speaker 3: attempt and say he could give him all these things?
[1:16] Speaker 3: I mean, I just don't understand why say would even
[1:20] Speaker 3: try to even ask God or all these things?
[1:25] Speaker 2: Well, Jamie, I think the answer to that question is
[1:28] Speaker 2: resolved by looking introspectively at ourselves. We know God spoke
[1:34] Speaker 2: of the universe, leapt into existence. We have ample evidence
[1:39] Speaker 2: that Jesus Christ is God and demonstrated that he was
[1:42] Speaker 2: God through the mutable fact of the resurrection. And yet
[1:46] Speaker 2: we consistently tempt God in our everyday lives. So we
[1:53] Speaker 2: can ask the question, why in the world would we
[1:56] Speaker 2: do that when we know that God is the creator
[2:00] Speaker 2: of all things, that he knows all things, and that
[2:03] Speaker 2: will be held an account for everything that we have
[2:06] Speaker 2: done while in the flash. So the question we ask
[2:10] Speaker 2: of Satan is a question we can ask of ourselves.
[2:13] Speaker 3: Right, Yes, it makes a whole lot of suit. Well,
[2:18] Speaker 3: I appreciate you having on the show.
[2:19] Speaker 2: Hey, you got it, Jamie, appreciate your call. We want
[2:22] Speaker 2: to go back to the phone lines and talk to
[2:24] Speaker 2: Nic in Maryland.
[2:26] Speaker 4: Hi, Nick, oh, Hi, thank going to be able to
[2:29] Speaker 4: speak with you. So I had a question about dynetics.
[2:34] Speaker 4: I had a friend asuring in church who told me
[2:36] Speaker 4: he was attending also the Church of Scientology and explain
[2:41] Speaker 4: me something about dynetics from Ron Hubbard that can help
[2:44] Speaker 4: you to be a better Christian. So my question to
[2:48] Speaker 4: you was kind of to fall. First, can you share
[2:50] Speaker 4: a little bit light of what dynatic is and also
[2:53] Speaker 4: if you could help me to figure out how to
[2:56] Speaker 4: tackle the issue on a difficult standpoint.
[2:58] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I can do that. In fact, I'm going
[3:01] Speaker 2: to give you some information and it's memorable. I remember
[3:04] Speaker 2: years ago I used the acronym tears from the passage
[3:08] Speaker 2: in which Paul says, remember, for three years, I never
[3:11] Speaker 2: stopped warning you night and day with tears. This was
[3:15] Speaker 2: very appropriate to scientology. So I use the tears acronym
[3:19] Speaker 2: to give people an idea of how to remember the
[3:22] Speaker 2: deviations and then use the deviations as opportunities to communicate
[3:26] Speaker 2: the gospel. The tea stands for thetans. Scientology teaches that
[3:31] Speaker 2: humans are immortal, thetans trapped in a physical universe of
[3:36] Speaker 2: their own mental construction, and therefore humans are not sinners
[3:42] Speaker 2: in need of a savior, but immortal beings who can
[3:46] Speaker 2: overcome enslaving ingrams. What's an n gram? That's the e
[3:50] Speaker 2: by the way in the acronym tears. It's the accumulation
[3:54] Speaker 2: of trillions of years of painful subconscious memories, and how
[4:01] Speaker 2: do you cure it? Well through the pseudo psychology of
[4:04] Speaker 2: auditing the A in the acronym tiars and that is
[4:07] Speaker 2: a counseling process that Scientology uses through which devotes can
[4:12] Speaker 2: locate and hopefully resolve past traumatic experiences and then experience
[4:18] Speaker 2: spiritual enlightenment. And then the R reminds you of a
[4:25] Speaker 2: continuous cycle of reincarnation, and Scientology holds that apart from
[4:32] Speaker 2: their auditing process. And by the way, everyone ends up
[4:37] Speaker 2: having to go through auditing first of all, kind of
[4:41] Speaker 2: like we got to find out whether you need this
[4:43] Speaker 2: or not, But it turns out that everybody needs it,
[4:45] Speaker 2: of course. But in order to escape this vicious cycle,
[4:49] Speaker 2: we have to become self actualized through the pseudo psychology
[4:55] Speaker 2: of scientology. And then finally, the s in tiers are
[5:00] Speaker 2: minds us of a God who is a supreme being,
[5:06] Speaker 2: remarkably like the Brahmin of Hinduism. And so here you
[5:12] Speaker 2: have sort of a mixture of pseudopsychology and the world
[5:20] Speaker 2: view of Hinduism mixed in this muddy mixture maalgamation of
[5:28] Speaker 2: thought that is completely set against a biblical worldview in
[5:33] Speaker 2: which resides the truth. Give you an example, you can
[5:39] Speaker 2: use each one of these letters in a very proficient way.
[5:42] Speaker 2: Let's take reincarnation. Reincarnation sets itself against the idea of resurrection.
[5:51] Speaker 2: Reincarnation is this idea that the soul continuously returns dressed
[5:58] Speaker 2: up in other bodies. Reincarnation is diametrically opposite from the
[6:04] Speaker 2: notion of resurrection, which says the body is not something
[6:08] Speaker 2: we escape. We don't get new bodies or different bodies,
[6:13] Speaker 2: but this body resurrected, immortal, imperishablely incorruptible. So you can
[6:19] Speaker 2: take the horror of reincarnation and use it as an
[6:23] Speaker 2: opportunity to talk about the incredible joy that believers look
[6:30] Speaker 2: forward to in terms of physical resurrection. And that's the point.
[6:34] Speaker 2: The point is not knowing every single deviation. Obviously, Satan
[6:39] Speaker 2: is a mastermind of packaging and repackaging the lie on nauseum,
[6:45] Speaker 2: on infinita. But it's to take the deviation and use
[6:49] Speaker 2: it as an opportunity share the truth, the truth that
[6:53] Speaker 2: liberates people who are trapped in dianetics, trapped in the
[6:57] Speaker 2: worldview of scientology, and teach them about the liberating truth
[7:03] Speaker 2: that Christ made us an ambassador for.
[7:06] Speaker 4: Well, thank you very much. That's very helpful.
[7:11] Speaker 2: You got it, and I've put this acronym in writing.
[7:14] Speaker 2: One of the places you can find that the Complete
[7:16] Speaker 2: Bible answer Book Collector's Edition. If you join the support team,
[7:20] Speaker 2: I'll send you a personalized copy of the Complete Bible
[7:23] Speaker 2: answer Book Collector's Edition, just as my way of saying
[7:26] Speaker 2: thank you. One hundred percent of the proceeds go to
[7:28] Speaker 2: this ministry so that we can continue with a message
[7:32] Speaker 2: of truth, not for political expediency, but truth because truth matters.
[7:39] Speaker 2: So check it out on the webit equipped dot org,
[7:41] Speaker 2: write me at box eighty five hundred, Charlotte, North Carolina,
[7:45] Speaker 2: zip code two eight two seven one, or just talk
[7:48] Speaker 2: to our resource consultants. That's an easy way to do
[7:50] Speaker 2: a triple eight seven thousand cur back to our phone callers.
[7:53] Speaker 2: Next up is zal He's listening in Harrison, New Jersey.
[7:57] Speaker 5: Hi, l good afternoon, God, bless you and your minister.
[8:01] Speaker 2: Thank you.
[8:02] Speaker 5: I have a question. It's a map to nineteen eleven
[8:06] Speaker 5: to twelve.
[8:08] Speaker 2: Uh huh.
[8:08] Speaker 5: And what's the definition for unix And it's something to do.
[8:13] Speaker 5: It's Joseph spirital set up by to spiritu. Oh that
[8:16] Speaker 5: is such thing to like a physical like doing some
[8:20] Speaker 5: physical just to serve God.
[8:22] Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what the passage explained, some are eunuchs because
[8:25] Speaker 2: they were born that way. Others are made that way
[8:29] Speaker 2: by men, and then others have renounced marriage, so they
[8:33] Speaker 2: have renounced the use of their genitals, as it were,
[8:38] Speaker 2: because they want to completely work for the Kingdom of
[8:43] Speaker 2: Christ without any kind of diversion. They want to be
[8:47] Speaker 2: completely wholly devoted to that process. And the one who
[8:54] Speaker 2: can accept this, the Bible says, should accept this. Back
[8:58] Speaker 2: to the phone lines, and he's listing in Aiken, South Carolina. Hyendra, Yes, good, good.
[9:07] Speaker 4: And my question is is I've asked a couple.
[9:09] Speaker 6: Of preachers and some people on that are Christians, and
[9:12] Speaker 6: I'm really none of them have heard of the Book
[9:15] Speaker 6: of Nature, and so I'm really trying to get to
[9:17] Speaker 6: understand what it is.
[9:19] Speaker 3: Where is it?
[9:20] Speaker 6: And when I've done research on the internet, I can't
[9:22] Speaker 6: find anything about it much either.
[9:24] Speaker 2: Well, you can do research in the Bible and you
[9:26] Speaker 2: can find it. Now, remember that the idea is what
[9:30] Speaker 2: is important. You can search the Bible for the word trinity.
[9:33] Speaker 2: You'll never find it either, but you will find the
[9:36] Speaker 2: notion that there's one God revealed in three persons who
[9:39] Speaker 2: are eternally distinct. And this is the same idea. If
[9:41] Speaker 2: you go to Romans chapter one, you will see in
[9:47] Speaker 2: verse nineteen that what may be known about God is
[9:53] Speaker 2: plain to the wicked, because God has made it plain
[9:57] Speaker 2: to them. Why. In verse twenty, Paul says, for since
[10:03] Speaker 2: the creation of the world, God's invisible qualities, his eternal power,
[10:10] Speaker 2: and divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood from
[10:15] Speaker 2: what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
[10:18] Speaker 2: So the Book of Nature is God's fingerprints in the
[10:24] Speaker 2: universe that he has created. The heavens declare the glory
[10:28] Speaker 2: of God. The sky has proclaimed the work of his hands.
[10:31] Speaker 2: So we have a book of knowledge the Bible. We
[10:34] Speaker 2: also have a book of Nature. And in the Nature
[10:39] Speaker 2: we don't get special revelation, but in nature we do
[10:43] Speaker 2: get general revelation. We want to see the contrast, the
[10:47] Speaker 2: best place in the Bible to see it, where we
[10:49] Speaker 2: see both the Book of Knowledge and the Book of Nature.
[10:52] Speaker 2: Psal nineteen. We'll be right back with more of your
[10:55] Speaker 2: questions on the other side of the break, so please
[10:58] Speaker 2: don't touch that dial.

[13:05] Speaker 7: two books in one because Truth Matters Part one equips
[13:09] Speaker 7: Christians to defend the essential truths of the historic Christian faith.
[13:13] Speaker 7: In Part two, Hank explains why life matters More and
[13:17] Speaker 7: how we can experience the height of human existence union
[13:21] Speaker 7: with God in Christ. Simply put, the map is not
[13:24] Speaker 7: the territory. The menu is not the meal. We cheat
[13:28] Speaker 7: ourselves of authentic union with Christ when we elevate the
[13:31] Speaker 7: message above the Messiah. Truth Matters, Life Matters More is
[13:36] Speaker 7: a modern classic and the magnum opus of one of

[15:07] Speaker 1: back to the Bible answer Man Broadcast and your host
[15:11] Speaker 1: and Canagraph.
[15:12] Speaker 2: Thank you very much for Andy, and let's return to
[15:14] Speaker 2: our phone calls. Next up is Ashton listening in Houston, Texas.
[15:18] Speaker 2: Hi Ashton, how you doing, sir? Good her? Are you
[15:21] Speaker 2: all right?
[15:21] Speaker 8: Sir?
[15:22] Speaker 9: It's pleasure to talk to you. Likewise, all right, sir, Look,
[15:25] Speaker 9: I can say about a year ago. You know, I've
[15:28] Speaker 9: been really listening to a lot of reggae and getting
[15:31] Speaker 9: into the history and just learning about Bob Marley, and
[15:34] Speaker 9: I've been reading my Bible, and I've been going strong. Well,
[15:38] Speaker 9: I just want to know what's your take on a
[15:40] Speaker 9: Lastafarian life. How do you feel about that?
[15:43] Speaker 2: Well, what I feel about that is that there's a
[15:45] Speaker 2: big contradiction between the Rastafarians and the Bible. If you
[15:50] Speaker 2: read the Bible, as you just mentioned, you're reading the
[15:54] Speaker 2: one thing you will note is there's no such thing
[15:56] Speaker 2: as race except to run the race. There is no Jew,
[16:00] Speaker 2: there is no Greek, there is no Dutchman, there is
[16:03] Speaker 2: no African. There is only people. And therefore we should
[16:10] Speaker 2: never be racist in how we look at other people.
[16:13] Speaker 2: And unfortunately, Rustafarians are racist. They say the white man
[16:18] Speaker 2: is inferior, the black man is the reincarnation of Israel,
[16:24] Speaker 2: and they believe that one day the black man will
[16:27] Speaker 2: rule the world. Well, I think to make any kind
[16:31] Speaker 2: of racist suggestion like that is very harmful. We've certainly
[16:37] Speaker 2: seen the horrors of the kind of treatment Western civilization
[16:45] Speaker 2: has afforded African Americans. It's a horror that's very difficult
[16:50] Speaker 2: to undo, and so we don't want to reverse that
[16:54] Speaker 2: horror and go in the opposite direction. Rather, we want
[16:58] Speaker 2: to recognize the liver writing truth that there is no
[17:02] Speaker 2: such thing as race, except as I said, to run
[17:06] Speaker 2: the race. But as far as Rastafarians in general, I
[17:11] Speaker 2: mean to believe that highly Selassie is God, or to
[17:15] Speaker 2: believe that Jamaica as hell. Although I was in Jamaica
[17:18] Speaker 2: not long ago and it wasn't the most wonderful place
[17:21] Speaker 2: I've ever been. I had some rather gnarly experiences there
[17:26] Speaker 2: that are in plazon on the canvas of my consciousness.
[17:29] Speaker 2: But look, I mean some of the outward trappings, you
[17:32] Speaker 2: can take them or leave them. You know, the dreadlocks
[17:35] Speaker 2: ganja reggae music. Now there's a difference. I mean dreadlocks.
[17:40] Speaker 2: I mean that's a style, but the style does have
[17:43] Speaker 2: a significance. The use of ganja is something that I
[17:47] Speaker 2: certainly wouldn't recommend because it's being used for religious purposes,
[17:51] Speaker 2: and that a religion that has no basis in reality.
[17:55] Speaker 2: So my bottom line here is, as a Bible believer
[17:59] Speaker 2: or some one that wants to devote yourself to the
[18:02] Speaker 2: teachings of Scripture. Rustafarianism is not a place you want to.
[18:06] Speaker 9: Be, okay, And can I put one more thing out there?
[18:10] Speaker 2: Yeah?
[18:10] Speaker 9: Absolutely, all right now, and now you were saying about
[18:14] Speaker 9: the God. Okay, but some of the Bible is a
[18:17] Speaker 9: white God, you know, with the long hair and the
[18:19] Speaker 9: bed in the rope. What about that god? You know
[18:22] Speaker 9: what I mean?
[18:23] Speaker 2: Well, there is no such god like that in the Bible.
[18:26] Speaker 2: I mean, this is the problem. The fact that there's
[18:28] Speaker 2: a problem on one side of the coin doesn't mean
[18:30] Speaker 2: you want to create another problem on the other side
[18:33] Speaker 2: of the coin. No, you want to right the wrong.
[18:36] Speaker 2: And the issue is that there have been renditions of
[18:40] Speaker 2: Jesus Christ as though he's got blue eyes and blonde
[18:43] Speaker 2: hair and he's part of the Aryan race. That simply
[18:46] Speaker 2: is not the case. Jesus Christ was part of a
[18:51] Speaker 2: Semitic culture. We don't know exactly what Christ look like,
[18:56] Speaker 2: but we can, I think rightly conclude he probably didn't
[19:00] Speaker 2: have blue hies and blonde hair.
[19:04] Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, and I understand that. But you know, like
[19:07] Speaker 9: for us as African Americans, you know, we can grow
[19:11] Speaker 9: our heir and it'll turn into dread life. But we
[19:14] Speaker 9: can just let you know what God gave us. Let
[19:17] Speaker 9: it grow. Just like we let a plant grow, it
[19:19] Speaker 9: turns into dread locks. So you know, what is it?
[19:23] Speaker 9: You know, when I go on a job interview and
[19:25] Speaker 9: they say, well, sir, we don't like your hair, how
[19:28] Speaker 9: am I supposed to feel like? This makes me comfortable?
[19:30] Speaker 9: I feel confident? You know, this is a part of me,
[19:32] Speaker 9: you know, just on my own I feel like this
[19:34] Speaker 9: is a part of me, like my arms and my
[19:36] Speaker 9: legs though, you know, so how am I supposed to feel?
[19:38] Speaker 5: You know?
[19:38] Speaker 9: When they tell me help, say it, well, we don't
[19:40] Speaker 9: want you on that job because your hair.
[19:42] Speaker 2: Well you got to look at this practically, my friend,
[19:45] Speaker 2: I tell you, if I grew my hair out really long,
[19:48] Speaker 2: if I was supplying for a job, I'd face the
[19:50] Speaker 2: same problem. I mean, if you feel comfortable with dreadlocks,
[19:55] Speaker 2: all the more power to you. But people are going
[19:58] Speaker 2: to make judgments as they would with me, exactly.
[20:02] Speaker 9: And that's just people. So do we have to be
[20:07] Speaker 9: living for people how people feel?
[20:09] Speaker 2: You know, Well, we live in the real world. I mean,
[20:13] Speaker 2: some practical realities are involved in living in the real world.
[20:16] Speaker 2: But look, if you feel comfortable with dreadlocks, and I'm
[20:20] Speaker 2: sure you look great with them, then that's certainly. I mean,
[20:24] Speaker 2: there's nothing in a biblical worldview that suggests that you
[20:29] Speaker 2: can't have dreadlocks. Here's the thing you have to keep
[20:32] Speaker 2: in mind, and let me make an analogy. There's nothing
[20:36] Speaker 2: in the Bible that ultimately tells you you can't have tattoos.
[20:40] Speaker 2: There is a biblical injunction for ancient Israel not to
[20:44] Speaker 2: have tattoos. Why not because there was something inherently wrong
[20:48] Speaker 2: with a tattoo, but because of the association it had
[20:51] Speaker 2: with paganism. And I think therein lies the problem. Israel
[20:56] Speaker 2: was not to be associated with pagan practices. They were
[20:58] Speaker 2: to set themselves apart. And I think that's the real
[21:00] Speaker 2: issue for the Christian set yourself apart. If you can
[21:05] Speaker 2: do that with a tattoo, all the more power to you.
[21:07] Speaker 2: If you can use dreadlocks as a testimony to Jesus Christ,
[21:10] Speaker 2: all the more power to you, because ultimately that's the issue.
[21:14] Speaker 2: The issue is whether you have dark skin or light
[21:20] Speaker 2: skin is of no consequence in God's economy. Whether you
[21:26] Speaker 2: have blue eyes or brown eyes has no consequence in
[21:30] Speaker 2: God's economy. What does matter is whether you are covered
[21:34] Speaker 2: with the righteousness of Jesus Christ or stand in your
[21:37] Speaker 2: own unrighteousness. That's the ultimate issue. If you square that,
[21:42] Speaker 2: everything else will take care of itself. So I would
[21:44] Speaker 2: put the dreadlocks on a shelf. I would put all
[21:49] Speaker 2: these other things on a shelf and say, the big thing,
[21:52] Speaker 2: the main thing, the plain thing, is where is my heart?
[21:55] Speaker 2: Is my heart a heart conformed to the will of
[21:58] Speaker 2: Jesus Christ. If it it is, everything else will take
[22:02] Speaker 2: care of itself, including your job. Rostafarians. Again, this is
[22:07] Speaker 2: something that originated in Jamaica, originated when Rostafar was coronated
[22:15] Speaker 2: as highly Selassie, the Emperor of Ethiopia, and therefore the
[22:22] Speaker 2: notion that highly Selassie is God. And I can understand
[22:25] Speaker 2: the reaction if you have been wronged for a long time,
[22:30] Speaker 2: I can understand why you'd want to react. But I'll
[22:34] Speaker 2: tell you the beautiful thing that Christ can do change
[22:37] Speaker 2: soften our hearts and make us ambassadors for Christ. And
[22:42] Speaker 2: that's the ultimate goal. Celia in Las Vegas, Nevada, you're next.
[22:46] Speaker 8: Hi, Cilia, Hi, thank you very much to give me
[22:49] Speaker 8: this opportunity to talk to you. I just have to
[22:53] Speaker 8: a few books from you when astonished with this crisis
[22:57] Speaker 8: in Christianity, and the other one is the counterfeit of revival. Yes,
[23:03] Speaker 8: so it opened my eyes. Since I became a Christian
[23:07] Speaker 8: nineteen eighty eight, I was on the Pentecostal doctrine. Let
[23:13] Speaker 8: me see if I am wrong. So, according to what
[23:15] Speaker 8: I read and my understanding, Pentecostal doctrine are wrong because
[23:20] Speaker 8: they emphasize on the powers of the Holy Spirit.
[23:25] Speaker 2: Well, Celia, let me say this, that's an in house
[23:28] Speaker 2: debate amongst Christians. The Pentecostal distinction is that they believe
[23:34] Speaker 2: that speaking in tongues is the evidence of the baptism
[23:40] Speaker 2: of the Holy Spirit, whereas a charismatic, for example, would
[23:43] Speaker 2: say it is a evidence, but it is not necessarily
[23:47] Speaker 2: the evidence. But that ultimately is an in house debate,
[23:52] Speaker 2: and we can debate that vigorously without dividing over it.
[23:56] Speaker 2: And so I have very close Pentecostal friends that I
[24:00] Speaker 2: can have this debate with. But boy, it doesn't separate
[24:02] Speaker 2: us for a moment. We're great friends. We learn from
[24:05] Speaker 2: one another, and so that's not a dividing point. I
[24:08] Speaker 2: think there are points on which you should divide, and
[24:12] Speaker 2: those points are essential Christian doctrine. Those are the doctrines
[24:18] Speaker 2: that form the line of demarcation between the Kingdom of
[24:20] Speaker 2: Christ and the Kingdom and the cults.
[24:22] Speaker 8: Oh okay, what about cartinal Demus. My church emphasize also
[24:28] Speaker 8: on cartinal Demus' liberation of all demos of your body,
[24:34] Speaker 8: you know, with manifestations of towing up, jerking.
[24:39] Speaker 2: Yeah, this is all a bunch of nonsense. It's all
[24:41] Speaker 2: a part of what I wrote about in the book
[24:43] Speaker 2: you mentioned, Counterfeit Revival. I've also written another book on this,
[24:46] Speaker 2: called The Covering. It's a smaller book, but it points
[24:50] Speaker 2: out that the fascination with demons in the culture at
[24:54] Speaker 2: large has now led to a robust deliverance movement within
[24:57] Speaker 2: evangelicalism and would be hard for us to come up
[25:00] Speaker 2: with a better scheme because whatever the problem is, whether
[25:03] Speaker 2: it's substance addiction or runaway sexual appetite, these exorcism ministries
[25:10] Speaker 2: happily claim expertise for dealing with it, and they give
[25:13] Speaker 2: you a bonus. That bonuses you're not personally held responsible
[25:17] Speaker 2: for the problem. They say in Dwelling, demons are mainly
[25:21] Speaker 2: to blame, and getting rid of the demons is the
[25:23] Speaker 2: key to moral and psychological redemption. Here's the problem with
[25:26] Speaker 2: all of that. It is that Christians cannot be demon possessed.
[25:35] Speaker 2: And let me repeat that, your temple, as a believer
[25:38] Speaker 2: is the temple of the Holy Spirit, which will never
[25:40] Speaker 2: be shared with a demon. So certainly demons skin bug you.
[25:44] Speaker 2: They can harass you, but they can't in dwell you.
[25:49] Speaker 2: They can in dwell someone who is a non believer,
[25:53] Speaker 2: but they can't in dwell a believer. Therefore, we don't
[25:56] Speaker 2: want to get involved in false paradigms of spiritual warfare. Rather,
[26:01] Speaker 2: we do well to heed what Paul wrote in Ephesians
[26:04] Speaker 2: chapter six, and that's what my book The Covering is
[26:06] Speaker 2: about how we can put on the form of God
[26:09] Speaker 2: and resist the power of the evil one. Please do
