[0:41] Speaker 1: The following program was pre recorded and now here's Bible
[0:46] Speaker 1: answer Man host Hank Canagraph.
[0:48] Speaker 2: Thank you very much. Randy. Want to make a couple
[0:50] Speaker 2: of comments about secular humanism. Nancy Pearcy writes about this
[0:56] Speaker 2: in the Christian Research Journal. There's a terrific article title sex,
[1:00] Speaker 2: Lies and Secularism, and she is pointing out the extreme
[1:08] Speaker 2: consequences to young people, even Christian young people, who are
[1:14] Speaker 2: sincere in their belief but have become very secular in
[1:19] Speaker 2: their behavior. Nancy Pearcy has a book out called Saving Leonardo,
[1:25] Speaker 2: and the article in the journal is based on that book.
[1:29] Speaker 2: But she's also the author of the best selling award
[1:32] Speaker 2: winning Total Truth Liberating Christianity from its cultural captivity. I
[1:38] Speaker 2: love her writing, I love her work, and I appreciate
[1:42] Speaker 2: her being on the biblance Man broadcast today.
[1:44] Speaker 3: Hi, Nancy, Well, Hello Hank. Good to be here.
[1:47] Speaker 2: Your article is at once troubling and enlightening. You talk
[1:51] Speaker 2: about the impact of secularism in the whole sexual morass
[1:57] Speaker 2: that we find ourselves in today, and particular the distinction
[2:02] Speaker 2: now that you make with respect to Christian young people
[2:05] Speaker 2: who are buying into secular behavior.
[2:09] Speaker 3: That's right. The surprising story that I uncovered as I
[2:13] Speaker 3: was researching this article was an article by a young Christian. Moment,
[2:18] Speaker 3: I didn't realize she was a Christian at first. I
[2:20] Speaker 3: was just googling, you know, on the Internet, trying to
[2:22] Speaker 3: find a story, and I found a story about by
[2:26] Speaker 3: a student who is recommending to college students how to
[2:29] Speaker 3: have what she called a happy hookup. And she advised
[2:33] Speaker 3: college students that if they really, if they just take
[2:36] Speaker 3: a moment and get mutual agreement before engaging in sexual acts,
[2:40] Speaker 3: in her words, then the whole hookup experience will be
[2:43] Speaker 3: more positive for everyone involved. Says Only. After I read
[2:47] Speaker 3: that that, I glanced and I read a bio and
[2:49] Speaker 3: I discovered that the author attends a very conservative Christian college,
[2:54] Speaker 3: and that is what gave me my wake up call
[2:56] Speaker 3: that this is not just a problem for a secular
[2:59] Speaker 3: peace people. It's a problem for Christian people who have
[3:03] Speaker 3: bought into the secular mindset that we have taught our
[3:06] Speaker 3: children just say no, we give them rules, but what
[3:09] Speaker 3: they really need today are not just rules, but reasons.
[3:12] Speaker 3: They need to know the biblical worldview, rationale behind biblical morality.
[3:17] Speaker 3: Otherwise they're going to be like this young woman and
[3:19] Speaker 3: simply give out to the secular mindset in terms of
[3:22] Speaker 3: their views. They may go to church, they may go
[3:25] Speaker 3: to Sunday School and Bible study and even Christian college
[3:28] Speaker 3: and still come out with a secular worldview.
[3:31] Speaker 2: So the idea is particularly rampant within the younger generation
[3:37] Speaker 2: that somehow or other, you can divorce your mind and
[3:42] Speaker 2: emotions from your bodily functions.
[3:45] Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the key there is that they're buying into
[3:47] Speaker 3: a very fragmented, dualistic view of the human person. There
[3:52] Speaker 3: was a really heartbreaking article in the New York Times
[3:55] Speaker 3: about hooking up and explain that hooking up means there's
[3:59] Speaker 3: no commitments, no emotional connection, no personal relationship. In fact,
[4:04] Speaker 3: people call it friends with benefits, but even that is
[4:07] Speaker 3: a euphemism because they're not even really friends. The New
[4:10] Speaker 3: York Times article put it this way, you just keep
[4:12] Speaker 3: it purely sexual, and that way people don't get mixed
[4:15] Speaker 3: expectations and no one gets hurt. And then, ironically, in
[4:19] Speaker 3: the same article, it went on to quote a teenager
[4:21] Speaker 3: whose name was Melissa, who was depressed because her hookup
[4:24] Speaker 3: partner had just broken up with her, and it was
[4:27] Speaker 3: a stark example of the fact that this dualistic worldview
[4:31] Speaker 3: doesn't work. We are holistic beings. We cannot simply wall
[4:35] Speaker 3: off our physical self from our emotional and spiritual self.
[4:39] Speaker 3: And the hookup culture is expressing this fragmented, dualistic, alienated
[4:45] Speaker 3: view of the human person. And it's an open door
[4:48] Speaker 3: for Christians to make a much more positive argument that
[4:51] Speaker 3: we are whole persons. Our sexuality is designed to express
[4:55] Speaker 3: the whole commitment of our whole lives, and that is marriage.
[4:58] Speaker 3: We can present a positive way.
[5:01] Speaker 2: One of the things you point out, Nancy, in the
[5:03] Speaker 2: article is that even in churches, many young people do
[5:07] Speaker 2: not get why homosexual activity is morally wrong, and I
[5:12] Speaker 2: thought your insights here were brilliant and not often expressed
[5:16] Speaker 2: with respect to how this activity is running completely counter
[5:21] Speaker 2: the biological facts.
[5:23] Speaker 3: That's it. Most defenses against homosexuality will appeal to abstractions
[5:30] Speaker 3: like the family or the future of civilization, and those
[5:33] Speaker 3: are valid arguments, but they tend not to have much
[5:37] Speaker 3: cachet with people who are struggling to change deeply rooted,
[5:42] Speaker 3: emotionally charged behavior. They really need to see that homosexual
[5:47] Speaker 3: behavior is directly harmful to them, and the way we
[5:51] Speaker 3: need to communicate that is that homosexuality, also like the
[5:54] Speaker 3: hookup culture, expresses this fragmented view to the human person.
[5:59] Speaker 3: And you can think of it this way. Biologically, physiologically,
[6:03] Speaker 3: males and females are clearly counterparts to one another. That's
[6:06] Speaker 3: the way their sexual and their reproductive anatomy is obviously designed.
[6:11] Speaker 3: So the problem with homosexual behavior is that it overrides
[6:14] Speaker 3: that design. It implies that my physical anatomy doesn't matter,
[6:20] Speaker 3: that I can disconnect who I am biologically from who
[6:24] Speaker 3: I am in my sexual feelings and my emotional attractions,
[6:28] Speaker 3: so that I can contradict my own biology. And so
[6:31] Speaker 3: the argument we need to help people to see. This
[6:33] Speaker 3: is a profoundly disrespectful view of the body that people are.
[6:38] Speaker 3: It's a very self alienating, fragmenting effect on the human personality.
[6:42] Speaker 3: And so when we communicate it that way, I think
[6:44] Speaker 3: it helps us to communicate that we care about what
[6:47] Speaker 3: this is doing to you. You know that this expresses
[6:50] Speaker 3: our love and compassion to you. You're becoming disconnected your
[6:54] Speaker 3: body from your sexual feelings, your biological identity is male
[6:58] Speaker 3: or female, and so it gives us a chance to
[7:00] Speaker 3: communicate a much more caring approach, I think, to people
[7:03] Speaker 3: who are struggling in this area.
[7:05] Speaker 2: Another insight in this is an incredible article, by the way,
[7:08] Speaker 2: but Nancy, you point out that the redefinition of human
[7:12] Speaker 2: personhood is a purely social construction opens the door to
[7:18] Speaker 2: unlimited statism because there is no human nature that an
[7:23] Speaker 2: oppressive state could possibly offend. So this whole move towards
[7:29] Speaker 2: transgenderism has incredible consequences for a society.
[7:37] Speaker 3: The next step after homosexuality really is transgender. Once you
[7:41] Speaker 3: separate physical anatomy from your personal gender identity, then gender
[7:47] Speaker 3: identity becomes completely fluid, completely free floating, Like you said,
[7:52] Speaker 3: totally unlimited in terms of how you define it. So
[7:55] Speaker 3: let me give you an example. Two thousand and seven,
[7:58] Speaker 3: California passed the law well that required all public schools
[8:02] Speaker 3: to permit transgender students to use the restroom or locker
[8:06] Speaker 3: room of their preferred gender, regardless of their anatomical sex.
[8:10] Speaker 3: In other words, a boy who felt he was really
[8:12] Speaker 3: a girl has to be allowed to use the girl's restroom,
[8:15] Speaker 3: the girl's locker room, presumably the girl's shower room at pe.
[8:19] Speaker 3: But what was interesting about it was that the new
[8:22] Speaker 3: law redefine gender. That compared the old wording with the
[8:26] Speaker 3: new wording. The old wording still talked about gender in
[8:29] Speaker 3: terms of your sexuality, your male or female. The new
[8:32] Speaker 3: wording said, has nothing to do with what it called
[8:36] Speaker 3: your assigned sex at birth. Now, most of us think,
[8:40] Speaker 3: if the baby's a boy or a girl, that's an
[8:41] Speaker 3: anatomical fact. It's not something we assign as though it
[8:46] Speaker 3: were an arbitrary social convention. But you see, sexuality now
[8:50] Speaker 3: has become an arbitrary social convention. Biology is irrelevant. In fact,
[8:56] Speaker 3: human personality itself is a social convention. And that's where
[8:59] Speaker 3: we get to what you were talking about pretty soon,
[9:01] Speaker 3: where do we have human rights then if human rights
[9:03] Speaker 3: are based in who we are as human beings, where
[9:06] Speaker 3: there is a human nature that the state is not
[9:09] Speaker 3: to override, this has profound implications for human rights in
[9:13] Speaker 3: every area.
[9:15] Speaker 2: Nancy just want to personally tell you how much I
[9:17] Speaker 2: appreciate your work. I have learned so much from you
[9:20] Speaker 2: over the years and appreciate your contribution of the Christian
[9:24] Speaker 2: Research Journal and pray that God will continue to richly
[9:27] Speaker 2: bless and use you for his glory and for the
[9:30] Speaker 2: extension of His kingdom.
[9:31] Speaker 3: Well, thank you, Hank. I appreciate that very much. And
[9:34] Speaker 3: I will say for people who'd like to know more
[9:36] Speaker 3: about this, there's a whole chapter on it in my
[9:38] Speaker 3: book Saving Leonardo.
[9:40] Speaker 2: Thanks again, Nancy.
[9:41] Speaker 3: Well, thank you so much for having me.
[9:43] Speaker 2: God bless you Nancy. And again, the article on the
[9:45] Speaker 2: Christian Research Journal by Nancy Piercy is a must read.
[9:50] Speaker 2: It is provocative sex lies and secularism. It is eye opening.
[9:56] Speaker 2: It's critical for your discernment skills. It's critical for you
[9:59] Speaker 2: to to be equipped to always be ready to give
[10:02] Speaker 2: an answer or reason for the hope that lies within
[10:04] Speaker 2: you with gentleness and with respect. And again remember this
[10:08] Speaker 2: Moniker ideas have consequences. It's not as though there's no harm,
[10:15] Speaker 2: no foul. There are real consequences, and we're seeing them
[10:20] Speaker 2: in the breakup of Western civilization in many of its aspects.
[10:24] Speaker 2: It doesn't have to be that way. Things can be reversed.
[10:27] Speaker 2: There are times of great revival that break out when
[10:33] Speaker 2: Christians in the pews of churches committed authentic New Testament.
[10:41] Speaker 2: Christians decide not just to mark time, but make a difference.
[10:46] Speaker 2: That's why we're here, That's why we do what we do.
[10:48] Speaker 2: That's why we ask you to stand with this ministry
[10:51] Speaker 2: prayerfully and financially. It's why we ask you to equip
[10:55] Speaker 2: yourself with tools like the Christian Research Journal back in
[10:59] Speaker 2: just a Flash, with your questions answered on the biplanes
[11:02] Speaker 2: mean broadcast.
[11:03] Speaker 1: The famous British apologist GK. Chesterton once noted, the true
[11:08] Speaker 1: soldier fights not because he hates what is in front
[11:11] Speaker 1: of him, but because he loves what is behind him.
[11:13] Speaker 1: Because at CRII we love what is behind us, our faith,
[11:17] Speaker 1: our families, and our freedoms. We will never retreat quietly
[11:21] Speaker 1: from the growing assaults on life and truth, even when
[11:24] Speaker 1: the costs are great. We will stand to join like
[11:28] Speaker 1: minded friends in making a difference at home and around
[11:31] Speaker 1: the globe, and to equip fellow believers to stand their

[11:50] Speaker 2: Stay with us.
[11:51] Speaker 1: Hank Canigraph will return in a few moments. Doctor Evan
[12:04] Speaker 1: Alexandra's wildly popular near death experience book Proof of Heaven
[12:09] Speaker 1: assures us that no matter what we do in this life,
[12:12] Speaker 1: only unconditional love and joy await us in the world
[12:15] Speaker 1: to come. But our Lord warned that while the gate
[12:18] Speaker 1: to Hell is wide, the road to it broad, and
[12:21] Speaker 1: those who enter through it are many, the gate is
[12:24] Speaker 1: narrow and the way is hard that leads to life,
[12:26] Speaker 1: and those who find it are few. Your generous support,
[12:30] Speaker 1: let's Hank Hanograph and see Uri speak out against the
[12:33] Speaker 1: lies that lead to hell. In appreciation for your gift, today,
[12:37] Speaker 1: we'll rush you Hank's book After Life What you need

[13:01] Speaker 1: been paying attention knows there's a war going on, not
[13:05] Speaker 1: just on traditional morality, civility, and decency, but even more
[13:09] Speaker 1: fundamentally on historic notions of truth. And the enemy isn't
[13:13] Speaker 1: just the onslaught of fake news, facilitated by a post
[13:16] Speaker 1: truth culture and turbocharged by growing legions of ideological spinductors.
[13:21] Speaker 1: Note the real enemies of truth range from postmodernist convictions
[13:25] Speaker 1: that there is no objective truth to militant scientism that
[13:29] Speaker 1: claims that only science can determine truth and religion is
[13:33] Speaker 1: little more than primitive superstitions. But CRI Support Team members
[13:37] Speaker 1: are not waving a white flag of surrender. They're holding
[13:41] Speaker 1: the fort by undergirding everyone of Christian Research Institute's mind
[13:45] Speaker 1: shaping and life changing outreaches twenty four to seven. To

[14:05] Speaker 1: Has God spoken? Are the words of Scripture merely human
[14:09] Speaker 1: in origin? Or are they in fact the very words
[14:12] Speaker 1: of God himself? Three years in the making, and based
[14:17] Speaker 1: on two decades of research and reflection, Hank Henagraph's monumental
[14:21] Speaker 1: book Has God Spoken answers what is surely the most
[14:25] Speaker 1: important question facing our world. In Has God Spoken? Memorable
[14:30] Speaker 1: proofs of the Bible's Divine inspiration, Hank counters the contentions
[14:34] Speaker 1: of the Bible attackers and clearly shows that belief in
[14:37] Speaker 1: the Holy Scriptures is not a guess or wishful thinking.
[14:40] Speaker 1: It is the only logical conclusion after an honest examination
[14:44] Speaker 1: of overwhelming evidence. Order Has God Spoken? From the Christian
[14:49] Speaker 1: Research Institute by calling eighty eight seven thousand CRII, or
[14:53] Speaker 1: go online to equip dot org. Equip dot org. If
[15:07] Speaker 1: you were going into combat, what would be more important
[15:10] Speaker 1: the number of those who were for you or the
[15:13] Speaker 1: number of those who were with you? Now apply that
[15:16] Speaker 1: question to today's battle for the hearts and minds of
[15:19] Speaker 1: literally millions of people at home and abroad. That's what
[15:23] Speaker 1: makes members of CRI's support teams so vital. They're not
[15:27] Speaker 1: simply for CRI's critical mission. They're standing with CRI each

[16:11] Speaker 2: Thanks ver Muchrendian. We'll go right to the phone callers.
[16:13] Speaker 2: First up as Gary in San Jose, California. Hi.
[16:16] Speaker 4: Gary, Hello, Hank, how are you?
[16:18] Speaker 2: I am good? It is a pleasure to.
[16:20] Speaker 4: Talk to you, A pleasure talk to you. I am
[16:22] Speaker 4: a Christian. I believe marriage is ordained from God for
[16:26] Speaker 4: a man and a woman. What I would like to
[16:28] Speaker 4: know is what is the biblical protocol for marriage. Does
[16:33] Speaker 4: the Bible say a priest has to marry you, a
[16:35] Speaker 4: pastor a church? How does that pan out?
[16:39] Speaker 2: Well? I think first and foremost, you need to recognize
[16:42] Speaker 2: that when you get married, you're getting married in two spheres.
[16:47] Speaker 2: They're getting married in the biblical worldview, in the body
[16:52] Speaker 2: of Christ. You're also getting married in the world, a
[16:56] Speaker 2: world to whom you are a testimony. So you can
[17:00] Speaker 2: think about baptism in this regard where you get baptized
[17:03] Speaker 2: within the body of Christ. But your baptism is not
[17:07] Speaker 2: just a testimony to believers, but a testimony to unbelievers
[17:11] Speaker 2: that you've been buried to your whole life raised to
[17:13] Speaker 2: newness of life. There's resurrection power. The same thing is
[17:16] Speaker 2: true with respect to this married ceremony, in which you
[17:21] Speaker 2: are saying to fellow believers in the presence of God,
[17:25] Speaker 2: that you are going to be committed to this woman.
[17:27] Speaker 2: You're going to forsake all others. You're going to nurture
[17:29] Speaker 2: her and cherish her and love her until death do
[17:32] Speaker 2: you part. And you're also making that proclamation in the
[17:38] Speaker 2: secular sphere as a testimony of what the oneness of
[17:42] Speaker 2: a man and a woman is as related to the
[17:46] Speaker 2: oneness of Christ in his church. So it is a microcosm,
[17:51] Speaker 2: it is an example, it is an illustration. It is
[17:54] Speaker 2: a profound truth that can penetrate a culture. So you're
[17:59] Speaker 2: not doing this in ic You're doing this as an
[18:01] Speaker 2: opportunity to minister within two contexts. The very sphere of
[18:07] Speaker 2: influence that God has given you, So you therefore bind
[18:11] Speaker 2: yourself in a church situation. Now does that have to
[18:14] Speaker 2: be in front of a priest? Does that have to
[18:17] Speaker 2: be in front of a pastor? Not necessarily, but why not?
[18:21] Speaker 2: Why not get married with a pastor officiating and doing
[18:25] Speaker 2: the vows and make this a great celebration, very much
[18:30] Speaker 2: like the celebration Christ experienced at Canaan. And why not
[18:35] Speaker 2: make this official because it is an official recognition within
[18:41] Speaker 2: the culture in which you live that has ramifications, which
[18:45] Speaker 2: is to say that your trust, your oath is binding,
[18:50] Speaker 2: not only in a spiritual sense, but also in a
[18:54] Speaker 2: secular sense. And so I would say, yes, you want
[18:57] Speaker 2: to get married with all the propriate attention of both
[19:02] Speaker 2: the church as an authority in the culture and the world,
[19:06] Speaker 2: which is ultimately a system set up that we obey
[19:11] Speaker 2: unless those laws conflict with God's laws, and in this
[19:14] Speaker 2: case they do not. So this is something that we
[19:18] Speaker 2: do in conformance to the state, and the state here
[19:22] Speaker 2: has no conflict with the spiritual or biblical worldview. Want
[19:27] Speaker 2: to go back to the phone lines, talk to Joshua
[19:30] Speaker 2: listening to al Paso, Texas. Hi, Joshua, Hi, how you
[19:33] Speaker 2: doing good?
[19:35] Speaker 5: I had a question regarding evangelists. That was an evangelist.
[19:38] Speaker 5: I went to my brother's church, and he called my
[19:41] Speaker 5: brother up to the altar and he started saying things
[19:45] Speaker 5: about my brother's life, saying way he would do and
[19:48] Speaker 5: what he was to become. And my brother that was
[19:51] Speaker 5: his first time going there, and he's not really a Christian,
[19:55] Speaker 5: he's a non believer, but I do get him to
[19:58] Speaker 5: go to church every once in a while. Well, I
[20:00] Speaker 5: was just wondering if the evantage is accurate or should
[20:06] Speaker 5: I trust that?
[20:07] Speaker 2: No. I mean, I think that the first thing that
[20:09] Speaker 2: we recognize is that God knows the future. And God
[20:13] Speaker 2: does not reveal the future to us. In his mercy
[20:17] Speaker 2: and his grace, he gives us enough light to step
[20:20] Speaker 2: into some more light. If we saw what would come
[20:24] Speaker 2: in the future, we probably wouldn't want to face the future.
[20:27] Speaker 2: So God holds the future and we trust in him.
[20:31] Speaker 2: We lean upon him day by day, and he gives
[20:33] Speaker 2: us the grace we need when we need it, and
[20:35] Speaker 2: oftentimes not a moment before. So I think it's presumptuous
[20:40] Speaker 2: when an evangelist starts talking to a non believer, telling
[20:44] Speaker 2: that non believer what his future will be. It is
[20:48] Speaker 2: a typical ploy today unfortunately. I mean, you've got people
[20:51] Speaker 2: with words of knowledge on television saying that there's a
[20:54] Speaker 2: woman with a red dress that is going to have
[20:57] Speaker 2: her back heeled or something like this. I think that
[21:00] Speaker 2: not only takes a biblical truth and reorients it in
[21:05] Speaker 2: a non biblical way, but again, I think it ends
[21:10] Speaker 2: up dragging Christ's name through the mud as opposed to
[21:13] Speaker 2: exalting God's name. Everything that we need for faith and
[21:17] Speaker 2: practice we have in the Word of God. So we
[21:20] Speaker 2: follow those principles and God leads us through circumstances and
[21:24] Speaker 2: through people. The first thing, of course, that you want
[21:26] Speaker 2: to do, especially if you call yourself an evangelist, is
[21:28] Speaker 2: communicate the evangel that transforms the life. And when the
[21:32] Speaker 2: life is transformed, everything that goes with it becomes transformed
[21:37] Speaker 2: and your life begins to take on meaning, purpose and fulfillment.
[21:41] Speaker 5: Okay, all right, I appreciate that you got it.
[21:44] Speaker 2: Thank you so much for your call, Joshua, and back
[21:46] Speaker 2: to the phone lines. We'll talk next to Doris. She's
[21:48] Speaker 2: listening on Saint Louis, Missouri.
[21:50] Speaker 6: Hi Doris, Hi, Hank, thank you for taking my call.
[21:54] Speaker 2: My pleasure.
[21:55] Speaker 6: My question is that I listen most every day, and
[21:58] Speaker 6: I've recently heard you talk about how when Jesus returns,
[22:03] Speaker 6: heaven will be recreated here on earth without the suffering
[22:06] Speaker 6: of death and pain. But my question is, what happens
[22:11] Speaker 6: then to everybody who dies? Now, everybody who's dead, what
[22:16] Speaker 6: happens when you die? Where do you go?
[22:17] Speaker 5: Now?
[22:18] Speaker 6: In the meantime, well.
[22:19] Speaker 2: Absent from the body, present with the Lord. So what
[22:22] Speaker 2: happens at death is there's an unnatural rending between body
[22:26] Speaker 2: and soul. To be a human means that you're a
[22:28] Speaker 2: body soul unity. At death, that body soul unity is disturbed,
[22:34] Speaker 2: it is broken, it is wrenched apart. So the body
[22:38] Speaker 2: goes back to the grave or back to the dust
[22:40] Speaker 2: from whence it came, and the non corporeal, the spiritual
[22:44] Speaker 2: aspect of humanity, goes to be with the Lord. And
[22:47] Speaker 2: then you await what is to come, Which is to
[22:51] Speaker 2: say that my dad died in nineteen ninety seven and
[22:56] Speaker 2: he was buried. His body's in the grave, his body,
[23:00] Speaker 2: no doubt completely decomposed. He's back to dust, as it were,
[23:05] Speaker 2: but he's in the presence of God. He's in the
[23:09] Speaker 2: presence of God in the sense that Jesus described in
[23:11] Speaker 2: Luke sixteen in Abraham's Bosom were in paradise. These are
[23:15] Speaker 2: metaphors for communicating being in the presence of God. But
[23:19] Speaker 2: when the Lord returns with a loud command, with the
[23:23] Speaker 2: voice of the archangel, with a trumpet call of God,
[23:25] Speaker 2: the dead in Christ will rise. And what happens is
[23:29] Speaker 2: the body is transformed. There's correspondence between the body that
[23:33] Speaker 2: died and the body that is resurrected. Now that doesn't
[23:37] Speaker 2: mean that there's the resurrection of very molecule. It simply
[23:41] Speaker 2: means that there's correspondence between the two. And therefore the
[23:45] Speaker 2: DNA that made my dad my dad is going to
[23:48] Speaker 2: be the DNA that's resurrected. That's a blueprint for his
[23:51] Speaker 2: glorified body. But that body will look as different, I suppose,
[23:55] Speaker 2: as a butterfly does from a caterpillar. It undergoes a
[23:59] Speaker 2: metamor sorphasis, and the soul returns to that body, and
[24:02] Speaker 2: my dad will be what he was intended to be,
[24:05] Speaker 2: a glorified human being, resurrected, immortal, imperishably, incorruptible.
[24:12] Speaker 6: Thank you so much, Hank, I appreciate your time.
[24:14] Speaker 2: You got it. Thank you so much for your call.
[24:16] Speaker 2: And I've written about this in my book Resurrection, and
[24:20] Speaker 2: I do think this is an important book. It's part
[24:23] Speaker 2: of the trilogy that we have available through the Christian
[24:25] Speaker 2: Research Institute dealing with the three great apologetic issues. The
[24:29] Speaker 2: first issue I dealt with was the issue of origins.
[24:34] Speaker 2: How one views their origins determines how they live their life,
[24:36] Speaker 2: and so I wrote a book called The Face that
[24:38] Speaker 2: demonstrates the farce of evolution. Then the second grade apologetic
[24:44] Speaker 2: issue that I dealt with is the fact of resurrection.
[24:48] Speaker 2: The resurrection is the capstone in the arch of Christianity.
[24:51] Speaker 2: It's the hope of the believer. Without resurrection, we don't
[24:54] Speaker 2: have any hope. So in that book I give proof
[24:59] Speaker 2: not only for rice resurrection, but absolute certainty that we
[25:03] Speaker 2: too will be resurrected, and if we grasp that, we
[25:07] Speaker 2: could live our lives by an altogether different standard. But
[25:10] Speaker 2: the third book has God Spoken, deals with where we
[25:14] Speaker 2: get all this information from. How do I know what
[25:16] Speaker 2: I'm talking about is true? Well, that question is answered
[25:20] Speaker 2: when you can say God has spoken, And that's why
[25:23] Speaker 2: I answer that question, has God spoken in the affirmative
[25:26] Speaker 2: and say, yes, you can trust the Bible as the
[25:29] Speaker 2: infallible repository of redemptive revelation. We can know that we
[25:32] Speaker 2: know that we know that what the Bible is communicating
[25:35] Speaker 2: is indeed true. Of course, we also need to know
[25:37] Speaker 2: how to read the Bible for all it's worth. That's
[25:39] Speaker 2: why I wrote has God Spoken? But again. All three
[25:42] Speaker 2: books are available for your gift to the Ministry of
