• "The youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow."— Nelson Mandela Youth leader and radio host, Keerthi, discusses her leadership jobs from kindergarten to high school. What she's learned is that leadership teaches time management. She's learned to be calm under pressure, how to communicate effectively, how to delegate, and of course, to fake it until you make it. Youth leadership shapes your future. It makes you bold. It makes you curious. It teaches you that even when things go completely off-script, you're capable of stepping up, laughing it off, and finding a solution. Keerthi encourages every young leader—whether you're the president of five clubs, the captain of your team, or the unofficial motivational speaker in your friend group. In segment two, she gives listeners the six "Stages of Youth Leadership Creation™". Youth leadership isn't about being perfect—it's about being brave enough to try. And remember: if all else fails, just add "Youth Empowerment" to the name and you're golden. Lead and succeed!
